8Structural phase transition, optical and pyroelectric properties of lead-free single crystals显示文摘0.14 at%Mn-doped 0.95(Na1/2Bi1/2)TiO3-0.05BaTiO3(0.95NBT-0.05BT)lead-free single crystals were grown by a top-seeded solution growth method(TSSG).X-ray powder diffraction measurement showed that the as-grown single crystals exhibit rhombohedral perovskite structure with apparent distortion.With the increase of temperature,successive structural phase transitions occur in the Mn-doped 0.95NBT-0.05BT single crystals.After poling,apparent dielectric anomaly is induced accompanied by the increase of the character of diffuse phase transition and the decrease of the value of dielectric constant.The Mn-doped0.95NBT-0.05BT single crystals exhibit complex domain structure,in which micro and macro domains coexist with statistically 4mm symmetry.The Mn-doped 0.95NBT-0.05BT lead-free single crystals exhibit excellent piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties,which will lead to promising advance in piezoelectric and pyroelectric applications.The infrared-absorption band occurred around 630.6 cm 1can be assigned to the'stretching'normal vibration of[Na1/2Bi1/2]/Ti-O group.The three diffused Raman bands centered around 300,560 and 800 cm 1can be attributed to F2g[TiO6]bending vibration,A1g[TiO6]stretching vibration and'soft mode'mixed by bending and stretching vibrations.FANG BiJun WANG Meng YUAN NingYi DING JianNing ZHAO XiangYong XU HaiQing LUO HaoSu 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,33:1
9Self-frequency-conversion nanowire lasers显示文摘Semiconductor nanowires(NWs)could simultaneously provide gain medium and optical cavity for performing nanoscale lasers with easy integration,ultracompact footprint,and low energy consumption.Here,we report Ⅲ-Ⅴsemiconductor NW lasers can also be used for self-frequency conversion to extend their output wavelengths,as a result of their non-centrosymmetric crystal structure and strongly localized optical field in the NWs.From a GaAs/In0.16Ga0.84As core/shell NW lasing at 1016 nm,an extra visible laser output at 508 nm is obtained via the process of second-harmonic generation,as confirmed by the far-field polarization dependence measurements and numerical modeling.From another NW laser with a larger diameter which supports multiple fundamental lasing wavelengths,multiple self-frequency-conversion lasing modes are observed due to second-harmonic generation and sum-frequency generation.The demonstrated self-frequency conversion of NW lasers opens an avenue for extending the working wavelengths of nanoscale lasers,even to the deep ultraviolet and THz range.Ruixuan Yi Xutao Zhang Chen Li Bijun Zhao Jing Wang Zhiwen Li Xuetao Gan Li Li Ziyuan Li Fanlu Zhang Liang Fang Naiyin Wang Pingping Chen Wei Lu Lan Fu Jianlin Zhao Hark Hoe Tan Chennupati Jagadish 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,6:0
10GROWTH AND CHARACTERIZATION OF Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3)-K_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3)LEAD-FREE PIEZOELECTRIC CRYSTAL BY THE TSSG METHOD显示文摘The 0.96Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3)-0.04K_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3)(NKBT96/4)lead-free single crystal was successfullygrown by top-seeded solution growth method.The effective segregation coefficient for K was calculated to be 0.20.X-ray powder difraction measurement showed that the as-grown crystalpossesses rhombohedral perovskite structure at room temperature.X-ray rock curve measureindicated that the as-grown single crystal owned relatively higher quality.The NKBT96/4 singlecrystal exhibits apparent diffused dielectric behavior,where the diffusiveness index aαis 1.79 forthe[001]-oriented crystal planes.A notable thermal hysteresis,△T_(h),of 25℃was disclosed for thetetragonal antiferroelectric-tetragonal paraelectric phase transition in the dielectric propertystudies between heating and cooling.The highest remnant polarization,P_(r),16.8μC/cm^(2),wasobtained at 100℃.The electromechanical coupling coefficient k_(t)of the[001]-oriented crystalplanes at room temperat ure was determined to be 38%using resonance-antiresonance technique.The room temperature piezoelectric constant d_(33)reaches 120 pC/N.RENBING SUN DI LIN QINHUI ZHANG BIJUN FANG HAIWU ZHANG XIAOBING LI SHENG WANG DONG WANG XIANGYONG ZHAO HAOSU LUO 2011Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2011,1,2:0
