2The second natural gas hydrate production test in the South China Sea显示文摘Clayey silt reservoirs bearing natural gas hydrates(NGH)are considered to be the hydrate-bearing reservoirs that boast the highest reserves but tend to be the most difficult to exploit.They are proved to be exploitable by the first NGH production test conducted in the South China Sea in 2017.Based on the understanding of the first production test,the China Geological Survey determined the optimal target NGH reservoirs for production test and conducted a detailed assessment,numerical and experimental simulation,and onshore testing of the reservoirs.After that,it conducted the second offshore NGH production test in 1225 m deep Shenhu Area,South China Sea(also referred to as the second production test)from October 2019 to April 2020.During the second production test,a series of technical challenges of drilling horizontal wells in shallow soft strata in deep sea were met,including wellhead stability,directional drilling of a horizontal well,reservoir stimulation and sand control,and accurate depressurization.As a result,30 days of continuous gas production was achieved,with a cumulative gas production of 86.14×104 m3.Thus,the average daily gas production is 2.87×10^4 m^3,which is 5.57 times as much as that obtained in the first production test.Therefore,both the cumulative gas production and the daily gas production were highly improved compared to the first production test.As indicated by the monitoring results of the second production test,there was no anomaly in methane content in the seafloor,seawater,and atmosphere throughout the whole production test.This successful production test further indicates that safe and effective NGH exploitation is feasible in clayey silt NGH reservoirs.The industrialization of hydrates consists of five stages in general,namely theoretical research and simulation experiments,exploratory production test,experimental production test,productive production test,and commercial production.The second production test serves as an important step from the exploratory production test to experimental production test.Jian-liang Ye Xu-wen Qin Wen-wei Xie Hai-long Lu Bao-jin Ma Hai-jun Qiu Jin-qiang Liang Jing-an Lu Zeng-gui Kuang Cheng Lu Qian-yong Liang Shi-peng Wei Yan-jiang Yu Chunsheng Liu Bin Li Kai-xiang Shen Hao-xian Shi Qiu-ping Lu Jing Li Bei-bei Kou Gang Song Bo Li He-en Zhang Hong-feng Lu Chao Ma Yi-fei Dong Hang Bian 2020China Geology2020,3,2:22
3Characterization and Source Apportionment of Volatile Organic Compounds in Urban and Suburban Tianjin, China显示文摘Tianjin is the third largest megacity and the fastest growth area in China, and consequently faces the problems of surface ozone and haze episodes. This study measures and characterizes volatile organic compounds(VOCs), which are ozone precursors, to identify their possible sources and evaluate their contribution to ozone formation in urban and suburban Tianjin,China during the Ha Chi(Haze in China) summer campaign in 2009. A total of 107 species of ambient VOCs were detected,and the average concentrations of VOCs at urban and suburban sites were 92 and 174 ppbv, respectively. Of those, 51 species of VOCs were extracted to analyze the possible VOC sources using positive matrix factorization. The identified sources of VOCs were significantly related to vehicular activities, which specifically contributed 60% to urban and 42% to suburban VOCs loadings in Tianjin. Industrial emission was the second most prominent source of ambient VOCs in both urban and suburban areas, although the contribution of industry in the suburban area(36%) was much higher than that at the urban area(16%). 4Macrophage membrane-coated nanocarriers Co-Modified by RVG29 and TPP improve brain neuronal mitochondria-targeting and therapeutic efficacy in Alzheimer's disease mice显示文摘Neuronal mitochondrial dysfunction caused by excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)is an early event of sporadic Alzheimer's disease(AD),and considered to be a key pathologic factor in the progression of AD.The targeted delivery of the antioxidants to mitochondria of injured neurons in brain is a promising therapeutic strategy for AD.A safe and effective drug delivery system(DDS)which is able to cross the blood-brain barrier(BBB)and target neuronal mitochondria is necessary.Recently,bioactive materials-based DDS has been widely investigated for the treatment of AD.Herein,we developed macrophage(MA)membrane-coated solid lipid nanoparticles(SLNs)by attaching rabies virus glycoprotein(RVG29)and triphenylphosphine cation(TPP)molecules to the surface of MA membrane(RVG/TPP-MASLNs)for functional antioxidant delivery to neuronal mitochondria.According to the results,MA membranes camouflaged the SLNs from being eliminated by RESrich organs by inheriting the immunological characteristics of macrophages.The unique properties of the DDS after decoration with RVG29 on the surface was demonstrated by the ability to cross the BBB and the selective targeting to neurons.After entering the neurons in CNS,TPP further lead the DDS to mitochondria driven by electric charge.The Genistein(GS)-encapsulated DDS(RVG/TPP-MASLNs-GS)exhibited the most favorable effects on reliveing AD symptoms in vitro and in vivo by the synergies gained from the combination of MA membranes,RVG29 and TPP.These results demonstrated a promising therapeutic candidate for delaying the progression of AD via neuronal mitochondria-targeted delivery by the designed biomimetic nanosystems.Yang Han Chunhong Gao Hao Wang Jiejie Sun Meng Liang Ye Feng Qianqian Liu Shiyao Fu Lin Cui Chunsheng Gao Yi Li Yang Yang Baoshan Sun 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:4
5Regional Characteristics of Typhoon-Induced Ocean Eddies in the East China Sea显示文摘The asymmetrical structure of typhoon-induced ocean eddies(TIOEs) in the East China Sea(including the Yellow Sea)and the accompanying air–sea interaction are studied using reanalysis products. Thirteen TIOEs are analyzed and divided into three groups with the k-prototype method: Group A with typhoons passing through the central Yellow Sea; Group B with typhoons re-entering the sea from the western Yellow Sea after landing on continental China; and Group C with typhoons occurring across the eastern Yellow Sea near to the Korean Peninsula. The study region is divided into three zones(Zones Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ) according to water depth and the Kuroshio position. The TIOEs in Group A are the strongest and could reverse part of the Kuroshio stream, while TIOEs in the other two groups are easily deformed by topography. The strong currents of the TIOEs impact on the latent heat flux distribution and upward transport, which facilitates the typhoon development. The strong divergence within the TIOEs favors an upwelling-induced cooling. A typical TIOE analysis shows that the intensity of the upwelling of TIOEs is proportional to the water depth, but its magnitude is weaker than the upwelling induced by the topography. In Zones Ⅰ and Ⅱ, the vertical dimensions of TIOEs and their strong currents are much less than the water depths.In shallow water Zone Ⅲ, a reversed circulation appears in the lower layer. 7Comparison of PM_(2.5) and CO_(2) Concentrations in Large Cities of China during the COVID-19 Lockdown显示文摘Estimating the impacts on PM_(2.5)pollution and CO_(2)emissions by human activities in different urban regions is important for developing efficient policies.In early 2020,China implemented a lockdown policy to contain the spread of COVID-19,resulting in a significant reduction of human activities.This event presents a convenient opportunity to study the impact of human activities in the transportation and industrial sectors on air pollution.Here,we investigate the variations in air quality attributed to the COVID-19 lockdown policy in the megacities of China by combining in-situ environmental and meteorological datasets,the Suomi-NPP/VIIRS and the CO_(2)emissions from the Carbon Monitor project.Our study shows that PM_(2.5)concentrations in the spring of 2020 decreased by 41.87%in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)and 43.30%in the Pearl River Delta(PRD),respectively,owing to the significant shutdown of traffic and manufacturing industries.However,PM_(2.5)concentrations in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region only decreased by 2.01%because the energy and steel industries were not fully paused.In addition,unfavorable weather conditions contributed to further increases in the PM_(2.5)concentration.Furthermore,CO_(2)concentrations were not significantly affected in China during the short-term emission reduction,despite a 19.52%reduction in CO_(2)emissions compared to the same period in 2019.Our results suggest that concerted efforts from different emission sectors and effective long-term emission reduction strategies are necessary to control air pollution and CO_(2)emissions.Chuwei LIU Zhongwei HUANG Jianping HUANG Chunsheng LIANG Lei DING Xinbo LIAN Xiaoyue LIU Li Zhang Danfeng WANG 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,6:2

9Granitoid emplacement during syn-convergent transtension:An example from the Huamenlou pluton in North Qinling,central China显示文摘The Huamenlou pluton,is an elongated granite intrusion with high aspect ratio,emplaced within the southern margin of the North Qinling(central China).Here we investigate this pluton through multiple techniques including the fabric study,microstructural observation and zircon geochronology.Our zircon U-Pb data confirm that the granite crystallized at ca.462 Ma which is consistent with the ages of other linear plutons in North Qinling.Microstructural observations of the Huamenlou granites illustrate that the pluton has undergone superimposed deformation during its emplacement,from magmatic to hightemperature solid state conditions.The internal fabric obtained by anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS)and shape preferred orientation(SPO)show similar results.The fabrics are relatively concordant and generally vary from NE-SW to NEE-SWW which are roughly oblique to the trend of the pluton elongation and the regional structures.Meanwhile,scalar parameters reflect two completely different strain regimes for the pluton and its host rocks,i.e.,the fabrics within host rocks are mainly oblate while the central part of the intrusion displays mainly prolate fabrics.It is inferred that the structural pattern recorded in this pluton was caused by local dextral transtension in consequence of oblique convergence between the South and North China Blocks.We propose that the local transtension in convergence setting probably evolved from vertical extrusion tectonics that provided room for the magma emplacement and imparted prolate fabrics in the Huamenlou pluton.Yang Li Wentian Liang Guowei Zhang Yazhou Ran Qi Shen Jingli Wang Chunsheng Jin 2018Geoscience Frontiers2018,9,1:1

18Cell relay-delivery improves targeting and therapeutic efficacy in tumors显示文摘Cell-mediated drug delivery system(CDDS)has shown great potential for cancer therapy.However,a single cell-mediated drug delivery mechanism has not generally been successful,particularly for systemic administration.To augment the antitumor therapy efficacy,herein,we propose a strategy of cell relay-delivery for the use of artificially damaging/aging erythrocytes to hitchhike on circulating monocytes/macrophages for intratumoral accumulation of anticancer drugs.This biomimetic relay-delivery strategy was derived from the manner in which circulating monocytes/macrophages in body specifically engulf damaged/senescent erythrocytes and actively transmigrate into the tumor bulk.The strategy elegantly combines the natural functions of both cells,which therefore provides a new perspective to challenge current obstacles in drug delivery.According to the strategy,we developed biotinylated erythrocyte-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)nanoparticle hybrid DDSs(bE-NPs)using avidin-biotin coupling.In such a system,biotinylated erythrocytes can mimic the natural property of damaged/senescent erythrocytes,while PLGA NPs are capable of encapsulating anticancer drugs and promoting sustained drug release.Anticancer drugs can effectively target tumor sites by two steps.First,by using biotinylated erythrocytes as the carrier,the drug-loaded PLGA NPs could be specifically phagocytized by monocytes/macrophages.Second,by taking advantage of the tumor-tropic property of monocytes/macrophages,the drug-loaded PLGA NPs could be efficiently transported into the tumor bulk.After encapsulating vincristine(VIN)as the model drug,bE-NPs exhibited the most favorable antitumor effects in vitro and in vivo by the cell relay-delivery effect.These results demonstrate that the cell relay-delivery provides a potential method for improving tumor treatment efficacy.Ye Feng Qianqian Liu Yi Li Yang Han Meng Liang Hao Wang Qing Yao Yuli Wang Meiyan Yang Zhiping Li Wei Gong Yang Yang Chunsheng Gao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,6:0
