1Mineralogical and geochemical features of sulfide chimneys from the 49°39′E hydrothermal field on the Southwest Indian Ridge and their geological inferences显示文摘During January–May in 2007,the Chinese research cruise DY115-19 discovered an active hydrothermal field at 49°39′E/37°47′S on the ultraslow spreading Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR).This was also the first active hydrothermal field found along an ultraslow-spreading ridge.We analyzed mineralogical,textural and geochemical compositions of the sulfide chimneys obtained from the 49°39′E field.Chimney samples show a concentric mineral zone around the fluid channel.The mineral assemblages of the interiors consist mainly of chalcopyrite,with pyrite and sphalerite as minor constitunets.In the intermediate portion,pyrite becomes the dominant mineral,with chalcopyrite and sphalerite as minor constitunets.For the outer wall,the majority of minerals are pyrite and sphalerite,with few chalcopyrite.Towards the outer margin of the chimney wall,the mineral grains become small and irregular in shape gradually,while minerals within interstices are abundant.These features are similar to those chimney edifices found on the East Pacific Rise and Mid-Atlantic Ridge.The average contents of Cu,Fe and Zn in our chimney samples were 2.83 wt%,45.6 wt% and 3.28 wt%,respectively.The average Au and Ag contents were up to 2.0 ppm and 70.2 ppm respectively,higher than the massive sulfides from most hydrothermal fields along mid-ocean ridge.The rare earth elements geochemistry of the sulfide chimneys show a pattern distinctive from the sulfides recovered from typical hydrothermal fields along sedimentstarved mid-ocean ridge,with the enrichment of light rare earth elements but the weak,mostly negative,Eu anomaly.This is attributed to the distinct mineralization environment or fluid compositions in this area.TAO ChunHui LI HuaiMing HUANG Wei HAN XiQiu WU GuangHai SU Xin ZHOU Ning LIN Jian HE YongHua ZHOU JianPing 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,26:34
2Early tectonic uplift of the northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Hexi Corridor is the northmost foreland basin of the Tibetan Plateau and its formation is controlled by the northern marginal fault of Tibet, Altyn Tagh Fault (ATF)-North Qilian Shan marginal Fault (NQF), and the southern Kuantan Shan-Longshou Shan Fault (KLF). So its study is important to understanding the mechanism of Tibet formation and its influence on global climate change. The oldest Cenozoic sediments in the Corridor is the Huoshaogou Formation which consists of terrigenous fine conglomerate, sandstone, sandy mudstone and mudstone, depositing in alluvial to lacustrine and fan delta sedimentary environments. Detailed paleomagnetic measurements of this sequence at Yumen clearly reveal eleven pairs of normal and reversed polarities. Fossil mammals found around the section support that most of the observed polarities can be well correlated with chrons between 13n and 18r of the standard geomagnetic polarity time scale, yielding ages of 40.2-33.35 Ma. The mean declinations of this sequence and its immediately above stratigraphy indicate an 18.3° rapid clockwise rotation of the Hexi Corridor. Since this sequence has been strongly folded and is capped by an angular unconformity, we think that the presence of the thick alluvial fan conglomeration at the bottom of the foreland basin may indicate the initial deformation and uplift of the northern Qilian Shan. This process could occur at latest at 40.2 Ma, driven by the faults NQF and KLF that thrust onto the Hexi corridor respectively from its southern and northern margins. 3Seafloor hydrothermal activity and polymetallic sulfide exploration on the southwest Indian ridge显示文摘Polymetallic sulfides have attracted more attentions,which are regarded as one of the potential seabed mineral resources for their high grade of precious metal elements such as Cu,Zn,Pb,Au,and Ag.Since2007,there are four China dayang cruises(CDCs)with eight legs totally,which have been carried out to investigate polymetallic sulfides on the southwest Indian ridge(SWIR),and eight hydrothermal vents have been found.In2011,the China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association(COMRA)and International Seabed Authority(ISA)signed a 15-year contract for exploration for polymetallic sulfides located on the SWIR between 46°S and 53°S.The area allocated to the COMRA is approximately 10,000 km2.In this paper,we review the recent research advances about hydrothermal activity of the SWIR by the CDCs.As for the sulfides exploration in the future,some aspects should be emphasized,such as the controlling factors of sulfide mineralization on the SWIR,prospecting methods of inactive and buried sulfide deposits,sulfides resources assessment method,and the nearbottom sulfides exploration technology systems.Chunhui Tao Huaiming Li Xiaobing Jin Jianping Zhou Tao Wu Yonghua He Xianming Deng Chunhua Gu Guoyin Zhang Weiyong Liu 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,19:25

5The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. 7MCP-1-induced ERK/GSK-3β/Snail signaling facilitates the epithelial-mesenchymal transition and promotes the migration of MCF-7 human breast carcinoma cells显示文摘Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)is a chemotactic cytokine that can bind to its receptor cysteine-cysteine chemokine receptor 2(CCR2)and plays an important role in breast cancer cell metastasis.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying MCP-1-induced alterations in cellular functions during tumor progression are poorly understood.Here,we showed that MCP-1 stimulated the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)and induced the tumorigenesis of breast cancer cells by downregulating E-cadherin,upregulating vimentin and fibronectin,activating matrix metallopeptidase-2(MMP-2),and promoting migration and invasion.Moreover,MCP-1 treatment reduced glycogen synthase kinase-3β(GSK-3β)activity via the MEK/ERK-mediated phosphorylation of serine-9 in MCF-7 cells.The inhibition of MEK/ERK by U0126 attenuated the MCP-1-induced phosphorylation of GSK-3βand decreased the expression of Snail,an EMT-related transcription factor,leading to the inhibition of MCF-7 cell migration and invasion.Inactivation of GSK-3βby LiCl(lithium chloride)treatment notably increased MMP-2 activity,vascular endothelial growth factor expression and EMT of MCF-7 cells.These findings revealed that MCP-1-induced EMT and migration are mediated by the ERK/GSK-3β/Snail pathway,and identified a potential novel target for therapeutic intervention in breast cancer.Shun Li Juan Lu Yu Chen Niya Xiong Li Li Jing Zhang Hong Yang Chunhui Wu Hongjuan Zeng Yiyao Liu 2017Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,7:14

9The Genesis Mechanism of the Mantle Fluid Action and Evolution in the Ore-Forming Process: A Case Study of the Laowangzhai Gold Deposit in Yunnan, China显示文摘Based on petrological studies of the wall rocks, mineralizing rocks, ores and veins from the Laowangzhai gold deposit, it is discovered that along with the development of silication, carbonation and sulfidation, a kind of black opaque ultra-microlite material runs through the spaces between grains, fissures and cleavages. Under observations of the electron microprobe, scanning electronic microscopy and energy spectrum, this kind of ultra-microlite material is confirmed to consist of ultra microcrystalline quartz, silicate, sulfides and carbonates, as well as rutile, scheelite and specularite (magnetite), showing characters of liquation by the analyses of SEM and energy spectrum. The coexistence of immiscibility and precipitating co-crystallization strongly suggests that the mineralizing fluid changed from the melt to the hydrothermal fluid. Combined with the element geochemical researches, it is realized that the ultra-microlite aggregate is the direct relics of the mantle fluid behaving like a melt and supercritical fluid, which goes along with the mantle-derived magma and will escape from the magma body at a proper time. 10Late Cenozoic high-resolution magnetostratigraphy in the Kunlun Pass Basin and its implications for the uplift of the northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Kunlun Pass Basin, located in the middle of the eastern Kunlun Mountains, received relatively continuous late Cenozoic sediments from the surrounding mountains, archiving great information to understand the deformation and uplift histories of the northern Tibetan Plateau. The Kunlun-Yellow River Movement, identified from the tectonomorphologic and sedimentary evolution of the Kunlun Pass Basin by Cui Zhijiu et al. (1997, 1998), is roughly coincident with many important global and Plateau climatic and environmental events, becoming a crucial time interval to understand tectonic-climatic interactions. However, the ages used to constrict the events remain great uncertainty. Here, we present the results of detailed magnetostratigraphy of the late Cenozoic sediments in the Kunlun Pass Basin, which show the basin sediments were formed between about 3.6 Ma and 0.5 Ma and the Kunlun-Yellow River Movement occurred at 1.2 to ~0.78 Ma. 11A comparative study on source apportionment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in sediments of the Daliao River,China:Positive matrix factorization and factor analysis with non-negative constraints显示文摘Two receptor models,positive matrix factorization (PMF) and factor analysis with non-negative constraints (FA-NNC),were applied for source apportionment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in sediments of the Daliao River,China.The source profiles and source contributions derived from the two receptor models were comparable.For PMF,PAHs mainly came from coal combustion (43.3%),followed by biomass burning (24.3%),traffic emissions (16.7%) and coke oven (15.7%).As for FA-NNC,coal combustion (50.4%) was dominant,followed by biomass burning (21.9%),traffic emission (15.7%) and coke oven (12.0%).The source apportionment results are consistent with the results from the specific PAH diagnostic ratios and emission inventory analysis.In addition,the source apportionment results are consistent with the structure of energy material usage in Liaoning Province of China.LIU ChunHui TIAN FuLin CHEN JingWen LI XueHua QIAO XianLiang 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10:10
12Synthesis of NaYF_4:Nd@NaLuF_4@SiO_2@PS colloids for fluorescence imaging in the second biological window显示文摘Nd doped nanoparticles is commonly used as bioimaging agents but presents poor stability. Here, a polymer coating is applied to NaYF4:Nd nanoparticles using a versatile step-by-step coating strategy. The as-synthesized NaYF_4:Nd@NaLuF_4@SiO_2@PS colloids show good stability in various polar solvent and are very stable in water at least for 6 months. These NaYF_4:Nd@NaLuF_4@SiO_2@PS colloids can exhibit strong down converting photoluminescence when excited by 808 nm lasers. 13Social Network Information Propagation Model Based on Individual Behavior显示文摘In this paper, we discuss building an information dissemination model based on individual behavior. We analyze the individual behavior related to information dissemination and the factors that affect the sharing behavior of individuals, and we define and quantify these factors. We consider these factors as characteristic attributes and use a Bayesian classifier to classify individuals. Considering the forwarding delay characteristics of information dissemination, we present a random time generation method that simulates the delay of information dissemination. Given time and other constraints, a user might not look at all the information that his/her friends published. Therefore, this paper proposes an algorithm to predict information visibility, i.e., it estimates the probability that an individual will see the information. Based on the classification of individual behavior and combined with our random time generation and information visibility prediction method, we propose an information dissemination model based on individual behavior. The model can be used to predict the scale and speed of information propagation. We use data sets from Sina Weibo to validate and analyze the prediction methods of the individual behavior and information dissemination model based on individual behavior. A previously proposedinformation dissemination model provides the foundation for a subsequent study on the evolution of the network and social network analysis. 15Mild moxibustion at Tianshu (ST 25) decreases expression of prokineticin-1 and prokineticin receptor-1 in colon tissue of rats with chronic visceral hyperalgesia显示文摘Prokineticin-1 and prokineticin receptor-1 play important roles in visceral hypersensitivity and in-flammatory pain. Visceral hypersensitivity is closely associated with irritable bowel syndrome. Mild moxibustion can relieve chronic visceral hyperalgesia in rats with irritable bowel syndrome. We hypothesized that prokineticin-1 and prokineticin receptor-1 is the key target in the mechanism. This study established chronic visceral hyperalgesia rat models by colorectal distention. Protein and mRNA expression of prokineticin-1 and prokineticin receptor-1 were determined by immunohisto-chemical method and fluorescence quantitative-PCR, respectively, and were found to be signifi-cantly increased in visceral hyperalgesic rats. 16Advances in luminescent lanthanide complexes and applications显示文摘Luminescent lanthanide complexes have been widely investigated as light emitting materials in bio-imaging and sensing, solid state lighting and display, anti-fake tags and light conversion films, due to their characterized photophysical properties including large Stokes shift, long lifetime, and sharp emission spectrum, arising from the sensitized f-f transitions. In this review, we summarize the most recent advances in luminescent lanthanide complexes and their applications from 2015 to August 2017 concerning of general concepts to potential applications. We first introduce the basic concept of sensitized luminescence of lanthanide complexes and the strategies used for highly luminescent complexes. Then recent varieties of luminescent lanthanide complexes and their hybrid materials are presented. 17Non-Resonant Structure Design of Catenary Transformer in Ultrasonic Gear Honing显示文摘To solve the design problem of transformer composed of non-resonant structure in ultrasonic gear-honing, force coupling conditions for moderately thick annular plate (MTAP) and catenary horn are proposed, and the frequency equations of the transformer, which consist of an MTAP and a catenary horn, are derived based on Mindlin's theory. The design parameters of the transformer were obtained by solving the frequency equations with the help of MATLAB, and its mode and frequency were deduced by the modal analysis of finite element method (FEM), which are consistent with the theoretical design demands. 18Efficient hepatic delivery and protein expression enabled by optimized mRNA and ionizable lipid nanoparticle显示文摘mRNA is a novel class of therapeutic modality that holds great promise in vaccination,protein replacement therapy,cancer immunotherapy,immune cell engineering etc.However,optimization of mRNA molecules and efficient in vivo delivery are quite important but challenging for its broad application.Here we present an ionizable lipid nanoparticle(iLNP)based on iBL0713 lipid for in vitro and in vivo expression of desired proteins using codon-optimized mRNAs.mRNAs encoding luciferase or erythropoietin(EPO)were prepared by in vitro transcription and formulated with proposed iLNP,to form iLP171/mRNA formulations.It was revealed that both luciferase and EPO proteins were successfully expressed by human hepatocellular carcinoma cells and hepatocytes.The maximum amount of protein expression was found at 6 h post-administration.The expression efficiency of EPO with codon-optimized mRNA was significantly higher than that of unoptimized mRNA.Moreover,no toxicity or immunogenicity was observed for these mRNA formulations.Therefore,our study provides a useful and promising platform for mRNA therapeutic development.Tongren Yang Chunhui Li Xiaoxia Wang Deyao Zhao Mengjie Zhang Huiqing Cao Zicai Liang Haihua Xiao Xing-Jie Liang Yuhua Weng Yuanyu Huang 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:7

20Nanoimprint lithography for the manufacturing of flexible electronics显示文摘Flexible electronics have received considerable attention in academies and industries for their promising applications in enormous fields, such as flexible displays, wearable sensors, artificial skins, and flexible energy devices. Challenges remain in developing a flexible and scalable manufacturing method to facilitate the fabrication of multi-functional structures in a flexible electronic system. Nanoimprint lithography is a high resolution and low-cost approach to fabricate nanostructures over a large area. This paper reviews recent progress of nanoimprint lithography and its applications in flexible electronics. The basic principles, classification, research focus, and critical issues of nanoimprint lithography are elaborated. Then, the advantages of nanoimprint lithography are demonstrated in several typical applications related to flexible electronics, including conductive films, optoelectronic devices, flexible sensors, energy harvesting and storage devices, and bioinspired electronic devices.
