| 4 | Combined effects of ultrasonic vibration and manganese on Fe-containing inter-metallic compounds and mechanical properties of Al-17Si alloy with 3wt.%Fe显示文摘The research studied the combined effects of ultrasonic vibration (USV) and manganese on the Fe-containing inter-metallic compounds and mechanical properties of Al-17Si-3Fe-2Cu-1Ni (wt.%) alloys. The results showed that, without USV, the alloys with 0.4wt.% Mn or 0.8wt.% Mn both contain a large amount of coarse plate-like δ-Al4(Fe,Mn)Si2 phase and long needle-like β-Al5(Fe,Mn)Si phase. When the Mn content changes from 0.4wt.% to 0.8wt.% in the alloys, the amount and the length of needle-like β-Al5(Fe,Mn)Si phase decrease and the plate-like δ-Al4(Fe,Mn)Si2 phase becomes much coarser. After USV treatment, the Fe-containing compounds in the alloys are refined and exist mainly as δ-Al4(Fe,Mn)Si2 particles with an average grain size of about 20 μm, and only a small amount of β-Al5(Fe,Mn)Si phase remains. With USV treatment, the ultimate tensile strengths (UTS) of the alloys containing 0.4wt.%Mn and 0.8wt.%Mn at room temperature are 253 MPa and 262 MPa, respectively, and the ultimate tensile strengths at 350 °C are 129 MPa and 135 MPa, respectively. | 5 | Epidermal growth factor upregulates Skp2/Cks1 and p27^(kip1) in human extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma cells显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the expression status of S-phase kinase-associated protein 2(Skp2)/cyclin-dependent kinases regulatory subunit 1(Cks1)and p27kip1,and assess the prognostic significance of Skp2/Cks1 expression with p27kip1in patients with extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.METHODS:Seventy-six patients who underwent curative resection for histologically confirmed extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma at our institution from December1994 to March 2008 were enrolled.Immunohistochemical staining for Skp2,Cks1,p27kip1,and Ki67,along with other relevant molecular biologic experiments,were performed.RESULTS:By Cox regression analyses,advanced age(>65 years),advanced AJCC tumor stage,poorly differentiated histology,and higher immunostaining intensity of Skp2 were identified as independent prognostic factors in patients with extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.Exogenous epidermal growth factor(EGF,especially 0.1-10 ng/mL)significantly increased the proliferation indices by MTT assay and the mRNA levels of Skp2/Cks1 and p27kip1in SNU-1196,SNU-1079,and SNU-245 cells.The protein levels of Skp2/Cks1(from nuclear lysates)and p27kip1(from cytosolic lysate)were also significantly increased in these cells.There were significant reductions in the protein levels of Skp2/Cks1and p27kip1(from nuclear lysate)after the treatment of LY294002.By chromatin immunoprecipitation assay,we found that E2F1 transcription factor directly binds to the promoter site of Skp2.CONCLUSION:Higher immunostaining intensity of Skp2/Cks1 was an independent prognostic factor for patients with extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.EGF upregulates the mRNA and protein levels of Skp2/Cks1and p27kip1via the PI3K/Akt pathway and direct binding of E2F1 transcription factor with the Skp2 promoter. | Ja-yeon Kim Hong Joo Kim Jung Ho Park Dong Il Park Yong Kyun Cho Chong Il Sohn Woo Kyu Jeon Byung Ik Kim Dong Hoon Kim Seoung Wan Chae Jin Hee Sohn | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014，20，3： | 4 |
| 6 | Therapeutic experience of 289 elderly patients with biliary diseases显示文摘AIM To present clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment strategies in elderly patients with biliary diseases.METHODS A total of 289 elderly patients with biliary diseases were enrolled in this study. The clinical data relating to these patients were collected in our hospital from June 2013 to May 2016. Patient age, disease type, coexisting diseases, laboratory examinations, surgical methods, postoperative complications and therapeutic outcomes were analyzed. RESULTS The average age of the 289 patients with biliary diseases was 73.9 ± 8.5 years(range, 60-102 years). One hundred and thirty-one patients(45.3%) had one of 10 different biliary diseases, such as gallbladder stones, common bile duct stones, and cholangiocarcinoma. The remaining patients(54.7%) had two types of biliary diseases. One hundred and seventy-nine patients underwent 9 different surgical treatments, including pancreaticoduodenectomy, radical resection of hilar cholangiocarcinoma and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Ten postoperative complications occurred with an incidence of 39.3%(68/173), and hypopotassemia showed the highest incidence(33.8%, 23/68). One hundred and sixteen patients underwent non-surgical treatments, including anti-infection, symptomatic and supportive treatments. The cure rate was 97.1%(168/173) in the surgical group and 87.1%(101/116) in the non-surgical group. The difference between these two groups was statistically significant(χ2 = 17.227, P < 0.05). | 8 | Discrimination of Chuanminshen violaceum Sheh et Shen from different regions based on fatty acid profiles of roots and leaves显示文摘Objectives:The purpose of this paper was to construct a reliable methodology to discriminate the geographical origins of Chuanminshen violaceum Sheh et Shan planted in different regions in Sichuan,China.Materials and methods:Fatty acid profiles of roots and leaves of C.violaceum planted in various regions of Sichuan Province in China,namely Guangyuan(GY),Langzhong(LZ),Jintang(JT),Bazhong(BZ),and Shuangling(SL),were determined using GC-MS followed by multivariate statistical analyses,including orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis.Results:Leaves of C.violaceum showed the highest contents of hexadecatrienoic acid(3.21 g/kg),linoleic acid(6.62 g/kg),andα-linolenic acid(7.24 g/kg),which were all higher than those contained in roots.Chuanminshen violaceum samples collected from LZ,JT,and GY could be clearly distinguished based on fatty acid profiles of leaves and those collected from LZ,GY,and BZ could be clearly distinguished based on fatty acid profiles of roots.Conclusions:Chemometric method is used as a potential approach for analyses of fatty acid profiles of roots and leaves to control the quality of C.violaceum and their powered products. | Qing Zhang Junrui Tian Chong Wan Hongmin Dong Dingtao Wu Shuxiang Liu Wen Qin | 2020 | Food Quality and Safety2020，4，2： | 2 |

| 12 | Ischemic or toxic injury: A challenging diagnosis and treatment of drug-induced stenosis of the sigmoid colon显示文摘A 48-year-old woman was admitted with 15-mo history of abdominal pain, diarrhea and hematochezia, and 5-mo history of defecation difficulty. She had been successively admitted to nine hospitals, with an initial diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease with stenotic sigmoid colon. Findings from computed tomography virtual colonoscopy, radiography with meglumine diatrizoate, endoscopic balloon dilatation, metallic stent implantation and later overall colonoscopy, coupled with the newfound knowledge of compound Qingdai pill-taking, led to a subsequent diagnosis of ischemic or toxic bowel disease with sigmoid colon stenosis. The patient was successfully treated by laparoscopic sigmoid colectomy, and postoperative pathological examination revealed ischemic or toxic injury of the sigmoid colon, providing a final diagnosis of druginduced sigmoid colon stenosis. This case highlights that adequate awareness of drug-induced colon stenosis has a decisive role in avoiding misdiagnosis and mistreatment. The diagnostic and therapeutic experiences learnt from this case suggest that endoscopic balloon expansion and colonic metallic stent implantation as bridge treatments were demonstrated as crucial for the differential diagnosis of benign colonic stenosis. | 14 | Solubility of red palm oil in supercritical carbon dioxide: Measurement and modelling显示文摘The solubility of red palm oil(RPO) in supercritical carbon dioxide(scCO_2) was determined using a dynamic method at 8.5–25 MPa and, 313.15–333.15 K and at a fixed scCO_2 flow rate of 2.9 g·min^(-1) using a full factorial design. The solubility was determined under low pressures and temperatures as a preliminary study for RPO particle formation using scCO_2. The solubility of RPO was 0.5–11.3 mg·(g CO_2)^(-1) and was significantly affected by the pressure and temperature. RPO solubility increased with pressure and decreased with temperature. There is a key stage of nucleic acid and protein metabolism in the process of vernalization in winter wheat. To probe into the molecular determinants of vernalization , we examined mRNA populations in differently_treated plumules of winter wheat \%(Triticum aestivum \%L. \%cv\% Yanda 1817) using mRNA differential display. One vernalization_ related cDNA clone \%(VRC), VRC54\%, was identified and was only expressed at the key stage of 20 d vernalization, rather than at other stages of nonvernalization, 4 d vernalization and devernalization. | 17 | Effect of V and N on Microstructures and Properties of Grade-70 Tire Cord Steel during Cold Drawing显示文摘Commercial grade-70 tire cord steel was microalloyed with V and N to explore the possibility of substituting V for C and the effect of V and N on cementite dissolution during cold drawing process.Tensile strength,elongation and torsion laps of cold-drawn wires were determined.Microstructures of secondary phases were studied by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).Saturation magnetization was measured by using a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)to evaluate cementite dissolution during cold drawing process.Experimental results showed that with the increase of V content,tensile strength increased,elongation slightly decreased,and the torsion laps of the cold-drawn wires decreased.Results also showed that with the increase of N content,apeak(increasing first and then decreasing)appeared in the tensile strength graph,and an increase of elongation and a decrease of torsion laps of the cold-drawn wires occured.N is soluble in ferrite when its content is low.The increase in the content of N to 82×10-6 will result in the precipitation of the V-containing secondary phases.Also,cementite tended to be stable during cold drawing process with the increase of V and N contents.Grade-80 tire cord steel can be replaced by grade-70 tire cord steel microalloyed with 0.086mass% V. | Hong-yu LIU Bao-yi WAN Xiao-yu ZENG Chong LIN Hong-jun WANG | 2015 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2015，22，2： | 1 |
