| 1 | Graphitic carbon nitride/biochar composite synthesized by a facile ball-milling method for the adsorption and photocatalytic degradation of enrofloxacin显示文摘In order to enhance the removal performance of graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)) on organic pollutant, a simultaneous process of adsorption and photocatalysis was achieved via the compounding of biochar and g-C_(3)N_(4). In this study, g-C_(3)N_(4) was obtained by a condensation reaction of melamine at 550 °C. Then the g-C_(3)N_(4)/biochar composites were synthesized by ball milling biochar and g-C_(3)N_(4) together, which was considered as a simple, economical, and green strategy. The characterization of resulting g-C_(3)N_(4)/biochar suggested that biochar and g-C_(3)N_(4) achieved effective linkage. The adsorption and photocatalytic performance of the composites were evaluated with enrofloxacin(EFA) as a model pollutant. The result showed that all the g-C_(3)N_(4)/biochar composites displayed higher adsorption and photocatalytic performance to EFA than that of pure g-C_(3)N_(4). The 50% g-C_(3)N_(4)/biochar performed best and removed 45.2% and 81.1% of EFA(10 mg/L) under darkness and light with a dosage of 1 mg/mL, while g-C_(3)N_(4) were 19.0% and 27.3%, respectively. Besides, 50% g-C_(3)N_(4)/biochar showed the highest total organic carbon(TOC) removal efficiency(65.9%). Radical trapping experiments suggested that superoxide radical( ·O_(2)^(-)) and hole(h~+) were the main active species in the photocatalytic process. | 2 | Study on the structure characterization and moisturizing effect of Tremella polysaccharide fermented from GCMCC5.39显示文摘The structure and moisture retention of Tremella polysaccharide fermented from GCMCC5.39(FTP)were evaluated.After UV,infrared spectrum analysis,HPAEC-PAD,HPSEC and 1 D NMR analysis,the composition of the purifi ed FTP was determined.Purifi ed components of fermented Tremella polysaccharide(FTPS)was made of galactose,mannose,glucose,galactosmine,glucosamine,and contain a large amount of hydroxyl,carbonyl and amino groups.FTPS wasα-neutral pyranose without uronic acid.FTPS-1 and FTPS-2 were obtained after purifi cation by DEAE-Sepharose Fast Flow Column.The molecular weights of FTPS-1 and FTPS-2 were 25722 and 177263 Da.FTPS-2 had a better ability to prevent moisture loss,and the optimal moisture retention period was 0–4 h.FTPS-2 could signifi cantly increase the moisture content of the skin epidermis and showed a dose-concentration relationship.The effect of FTPS-2 on the expression of different moisturizing genes was evaluated in a human skin keratinocyte model.The results showed that FTPS-2 has no cytotoxicity,and could signifi cantly promote AQP3,TGM1,CASP14,HYAL2,FLG gene expression level in HaCaT cells.It has the most signifi cant infl uence at HYAL2 protein expression on 50μg/mL. | Meng Yang Zilong Zhang Yan He Chengliang Li Jinmei Wang Xia Ma | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4: | 6 |
| 3 | Comparison of labeling methods and time course of traumatic brain injury-induced cell death in mice显示文摘BACKGROUND:Various molecular mechanisms of cell death following traumatic brain injury have been previously described.However,the time course of cell death remains unclear.TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B labeling have been widely used to label apoptotic cells and neuronal degeneration.Propidium iodide (PI) functions as a biomarker of cell death in vivo.OBJECTIVE:To explore the role of PI labeling compared to TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B staining for detecting neural cell death,and to observe time course of traumatic brain injury-induced cell death in mice.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Aging and Nervous Diseases,Soochow University from September 2007 to December 2008.MATERIALS:PI (B1221) was purchased from Sigma,USA.TUNEL kit was purchased from Roche Molecular Biochemicals,USA.Fluoro-Jade B was purchased from Chemicon,USA.METHODS:A total of 70 healthy,male,Kunming mice were randomly assigned to sham-surgery (n=5) and model (n=65) groups.Traumatic brain injury was established using the controlled cortical impact method.PI was intraperitoneally injected at 1 hour prior to animal sacrifice.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:TUNEL,Fluoro-Jade B,and PI-positive cells were quantified using a double-labeling method to determine the time course of traumatic brain injury-induced cell death.RESULTS:PI labeled cells in an earlier phase of cell death than TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B labeling.PI-positive cells were observed immediately following injury,and the numbers rapidly increased in injured brain areas at 1 hour,peaked at 24-48 hours,and subsequently decreased at 3-21 days post-injury.TUNEL-labeled cells were significantly increased at 12 hours,while Fluoro-Jade B-labeled cells were increased at 6 hours after injury,with cells still visible at 6-48 hours post-injury.Moreover,a greater number of PI-positive cells were observed compared to TUNEL-and Fluoro-Jade B-labeled cells.CONCLUSION:PI labeling is more sensitive and reliable than TUNEL and Fluoro-Jade B staining for detecting cell death following traumatic brain injury.Moreover,PI labeling can function as a reliable marker to estimate the entire time course of cell death. | Chengliang Luo Xiping Chen Hong Ni Qianqian Li Rui Yang Yuxia Sun Guangyou Zhu Luyang Tao | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,9: | 6 |
| 4 | Observation and research of deep underground multi-physical fields—Huainan–848 m deep experiment显示文摘Compared with the surface,the deep environment has the advantages of allowing“super-quiet and ultra-clean”-geophysical field observation with low vibration noise and little electromagnetic interference,which are conducive to the realization of long-term and high-precision observation of multi-physical fields,thus enabling the solution of a series of geoscience problems.In the Panyidong Coal Mine,where there are extensive underground tunnels at the depth of 848 m below sea level,we carried out the first deep-underground geophysical observations,including radioactivity,gravity,magnetic,magnetotelluric,background vibration and six-component seismic observations.We concluded from these measurements that(1)the background of deep subsurface gravity noise in the long-period frequency band less than 2 Hz is nearly two orders of magnitude weaker than that in the surface observation environment;(2)the underground electric field is obviously weaker than the surface electric field,and the relatively high frequency of the underground field,greater than 1 Hz,is more than two orders of magnitude weaker than that of the surface electric field;the east-west magnetic field underground is approximately the same as that at the surface;the relatively high-frequency north-south magnetic field underground,below 10 Hz,is at least one order of magnitude lower than that at the surface,showing that the underground has a clean electromagnetic environment;(3)in addition to the highfrequency and single-frequency noises introduced by underground human activities,the deep underground space has a significantly lower background vibration noise than the surface,which is very beneficial to the detection of weak earthquake and gravity signals;and(4)the underground roadway support system built with ferromagnetic material interferes the geomagnetic field.We also found that for deep observation in the“ultra-quiet and ultra-clean”environment,the existing geophysical equipment and observation technology have problems of poor adaptability and insufficient precision as well as data cleaning problems,such as the effective separation of the signal and noise of deep observation data.It is also urgent to interpret and comprehensively utilize these high-precision multi-physics observation data. | Yun WANG Yaxin YANG Heping SUN Chengliang XIE Qisheng ZHANG Xiaoming CUI Chang CHEN Yongsheng HE Qiangqiang MIAO Chaomin MU Lianghui GUO Jiwen TENG | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,1: | 3 |

Three data processing principles are first introduced,and then the discharge pressure data obtained from the measured solenoid valve are processed to obtain the sonic conductance with three methods: the partial polytropic exponent method,the complete polytropic exponent method and the adiabatic method. By comparison of the obtained results it indicates that the complete polytropic exponent method is the most accurate.
