| 1 | Dynamic attack zone of air-to-air missile after being launched in random wind field显示文摘A new concept is presented for air-to-air missile which is dynamic attack zone after being launched in random wind field. This new concept can be used to obtain the 4-dimensional(4-D)information regarding the dynamic envelope of an air-to-air missile at any flight time aimed at different flight targets considering influences of random wind, in the situation of flight fighters cooperated with missiles fighting against each other. Based on an air-to-air missile model, some typical cases of dynamic attack zone after being launched in random wind field were numerically simulated.Compared with the simulation results of traditional dynamic envelope, the properties of dynamic attack zone after being launched are as follows. The 4-D dynamic attack zone after being launched is inside traditional maximum dynamic envelope, but its forane boundary is usually not inside traditional no-escape dynamic envelope; Traditional dynamic attack zone can just be reliably used at launch time, while dynamic envelope after being launched can be reliably and accurately used during any flight antagonism time. | 2 | Low-frequency E-field Detection Array(LFEDA)-Construction and preliminary results显示文摘In recent years, locating total lightning at the VLF/LF band has become one of the most important directions in lightning detection. The Low-frequency E-field Detection Array(LFEDA) consisting of nine fast antennas was developed by the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences in Guangzhou between 2014 and 2015. This paper documents the composition of the LFEDA and a lightning-locating algorithm that applies to the low-frequency electric field radiated by lightning pulse discharge events(LPDEs). Theoretical simulation and objective assessment of the accuracy and detection efficiency of LFEDA have been done using Monte Carlo simulation and artificial triggered lightning experiment, respectively. The former results show that having a station in the network with a comparatively long baseline improves both the horizontal location accuracy in the direction perpendicular to the baseline and the vertical location accuracy along the baseline. The latter results show that detection efficiencies for triggered lightning flashes and return strokes are 100% and 95%, respectively. The average planar location error for return strokes of triggered lightning flashes is 102 m. By locating LPDEs in thunderstorms, we find that LPDEs are consistent with convective regions as indicated by strong reflectivity columns, and present a reasonable distribution in the vertical direction.In addition, the LFEDA can reveal an image of lightning development through mapping the channels of lightning. Based on three-dimensional locations, the vertical propagation speed of the preliminary breakdown and the changing trend of the leader's speed in an intra-cloud and a cloud-to-ground flash are investigated. | 3 | Effect of Banxia Xiexin decoction on Helicobacter pylori-related peptic ulcers and its possible mechanism via the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Banxia Xiexin decoction(BXD) on Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-related peptic ulcers(PUs) and the possible mecha-nism underlying BXD actions via the transforming growth factor-β/small mothers against decapentaplegic(TGF-β/Smad) signaling pathway.METHODS: PU patients with cold-heat complex syndrome were randomly assigned to groups that received Chinese or Western medicines with 20 patients in each group. Serum was collected after 7 d of treatment. The healthy group included 20 individuals. Gastric mucosal epithelial cell line GES-1 was cultured in vitro and randomly divided into the following seven groups: control, model, healthy,Western Medicine, prior treatment, low dosage,and high dosage. After 72 h of treatment with the corresponding serum, the m RNA and protein expression levels of TGF-β1, Smad3, and Smad7 were measured by reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blotting, respectively.RESULTS: The m RNA expression levels of TGF-β1 and Smad3 in GES-1 cells were increased after Hp introduction, and these increased levels were reduced by the BXD-containing serum. The protein levels of p-Smad3, but not TGF-β1 or Smad3, were significantly increased in Hp-treated GES-1 cells,and treatment with the BXD-containing serum markedly decreased the protein levels. | 5 | A fast decoupled ISAR high-resolution imaging method using structural sparse information under low SNR显示文摘Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image can be represented and reconstructed by sparse recovery (SR) approaches. However, the existing SR algorithms, which are used for ISAR imaging, have suffered from high computational cost and poor imaging quality under a low signal to noise ratio (SNR) condition. This paper proposes a fast decoupled ISAR imaging method by exploiting the inherent structural sparse information of the targets. Firstly, the ISAR imaging problem is decoupled into two sub-problems. One is range direction imaging and the other is azimuth direction focusing. Secondly, an efficient two-stage SR method is proposed to obtain higher resolution range profiles by using jointly sparse information. Finally, the residual linear Bregman iteration via fast Fourier transforms (RLBI-FFT) is proposed to perform the azimuth focusing on low SNR efficiently. | 6 | Simulation of the equatorial quasi-biennial oscillation based on the parameterization of continuously spectral gravity waves显示文摘On the basis of previous parameterization schemes, considering both the wave breaking and absorbed at critical level, a parameterization with a continuous spectrum of gravity waves is realized by introducing a momentum flux density function for the wave spectrum, and then the parameterization scheme of the gravity waves is improved. Choosing parameter values of the background atmosphere and waves based on the observations, a more realistic equatorial quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) driven by the incorporated drag from the planetary and gravity waves can be simulated. The numerical results indicate that the forcing magnitude of the planetary and gravity waves varies with the wind field, and in some phases of the QBO, the contribution of the gravity waves is comparable with that of the planetary waves. After the QBO is steadily formed, its amplitude and period and wind configuration are relevant to the effect of vertical diffusion and the momentum flux distribution with spectrum, however, independent of the initial background wind field. | 7 | Optimization of dosage ratio of chlorogenic acid and gardenia glycosides in the treatment of rats with fatty liver disease induced by high-fat feed显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the optimal dosage ratio of chlorogenic acid and gardenia glycosides in treating the rates with fatty liver disease induced by high-fat feed.METHODS: A rat model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) was established by using a high-fat diet. According to mathematical model 'uniform design', varying doses of chlorogenic acid and gardenia glycosides have been combined to form 6 medications for the treatment of NAFLD.Samples were then taken to observe pathological changes of the liver tissue(HE staining); changes in the fat metabolism pathway e.g. triglyceride(TG)and free fatty acid(FFA) content; alterations in liver function, i.e. serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) activity; and differences in Malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) content in the liver tissue. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to test the optimal dosage ratio of chlorogenic acid and gardenia glycosides.RESULTS: Fatty degeneration and vacuole-like changes of different degrees occurred in hepatic cells of the model group. Markers for fat metabolism, serum ALT and AST activities, and expression of MDA in liver tissue significantly increased, while SOD decreased. | 8 | Spatiotemporal pattern and regional characteristics of visibility in China during 1976–2010显示文摘Degradation in visibility occurs extensively across China,creating the urgent need to better understand visibility patterns and characteristics in China.Using daily observation data from the U.S.National Climatic Data Center(NCDC)during 1976–2010,the spatial distribution and temporal trends of visibility in China,as well as seasonal and regional characteristics,were determined.The distribution of visibility was characterized by a longitudinal gradient between west and east China.The northwest of China generally experienced consistent high visibility of[20 km,while central and eastern China experienced visibility degradation and increase in haziness.The 133stations with significant downward trends in visibility were clustered around central-east China and the average reduction rate was-1.65 km/decade(from 18.5 km).The96 stations with increasing trends of visibility were mostly on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and Xinjiang and were closely related to a reduction in local sand storms.The average visibility in 12 key regions in China varied between9.9–17.8 km(except for 23.9 km in Urumqi),which was lower than the national average of 18.7 km.The Taiyuan–Hohhot,Guanzhong,Yangtze River Delta,Pearl River Delta and Fuzhou–Xiamen areas all encountered significant decreases in visibility,while minor increases were observed in Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei and the Cheng-Yu region.At most stations,the worst visibility was measured in winter,but the season with best visibility varied between regions.A comparison of visibility trends with the emission trends of various pollutants revealed that SO2emissions dominated the visibility degradation in eastern Chinawith NOxand volatile organic compounds playing ascending roles during the 2000s. | Yuan Chen Shaodong Xie | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,24: | 4 |
| 9 | A topographic parameter inversion method based on laser altimetry显示文摘A topographic parameter inversion method based on laser altimetry is developed in this paper, which can be used to deduce the surface vertical profile and retrieve the topographic parameters within the laser footprints by analyzing and simulating return waveforms. This method comprises three steps. The first step is to build the numerical models for the whole measuring procedure of laser altimetry, construct digital elevation models for surfaces with different topographic parameters, and calculate return waveforms. The second step is to analyze the simulated return waveforms to obtain their characteristics parameters, summarize the effects of the topographic parameter variations on the characteristic parameters of simulated return waveforms, and analyze the observed return waveforms of laser altimeters to acquire their characteristic parameters at the same time. The last step is to match the characteristic parameters of the simulated and observed return waveforms, and deduce the topographic parameters within the laser footprint. | 10 | Effects of trace ytterbium addition on microstructure,mechanical and thermal properties of hypoeutectic Al-5Ni alloy显示文摘Over the past decade,the cast aluminum alloys with excellent mechanical and conductivity properties have emerged as potential materials for thermal management.However,the traditional Al-Si based alloys are difficult to make significant breakthrough in conductivity performance.The hypoeutectic Al-5Ni alloy also possesses sound castability and is expected to be applied in thermal management applications.In this study,the effects of ytterbium(Yb element) at 0-0.5 wt% on the microstructures as well as the electrical/thermal conductivity and mechanical properties of the Al-5Ni alloy were systematically investigated.The experimental results indicate that the addition of Yb at a relatively low amount not only reduces the secondary dendrite arm spacing of the α-Al grains,but also modifies the morphology and distribution of eutectic boundary phase.Moreover,it is found that the dosage of Yb at 0.3 wt% in the Al-5Ni alloy can simultaneously improve the yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and electrical/thermal conductivity.The strengthening and toughening of the Al-5Ni alloy are mainly attributed to the decrease of secondary dendrite arm spacing and the improvement of eutectic phases.The transmission electron microscopy/selected area electron diffraction(TEM/SAED) analysis indicates that the ytterbium in Al-5Ni alloy will form Al_(3)Yb phase,which mainly agglomerates in the Al_(3)Ni phase region.This phase is helpful to decrease the solubility of impurity elements(e.g.,Fe and Si) in the α-Al matrix,which is beneficial to electrical/thermal conductivity.The value of this study lays foundation for manufacturing Al-Ni alloys with high thermal conductivity and acceptable mechanical properties. | Kang Wang Shaodong Hu Yanglin Zhong Shuoxun Jin Zirong Zhou Zhiyu Wang Jiongcai Chen Bingbing Wan Wenfang Li | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,8: | 2 |

| 13 | Fast ISAR imaging method based on scene segmentation显示文摘Although compressed sensing inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) imaging methods are widely used in radar signal processing, its reconstructing time and memory storage space requirements are very high. The main reason is that large scene reconstruction needs a higher dimension of the sensing matrix. To reduce this limitation, a fast high resolution ISAR imaging method,which is based on scene segmentation for random chirp frequencystepped signals, is proposed. The idea of scene segmentation is used to solve the problems aforementioned. In the method,firstly, the observed scene is divided into multiple sub-scenes and then the sub-scenes are reconstructed respectively. Secondly, the whole image scene can be obtained through the stitching of the sub-scenes. Due to the reduction of the dimension of the sensing matrix, the requirement of the memory storage space is reduced substantially. In addition, due to the nonlinear superposition of the reconstructed time of the segmented sub-scenes, the reconstruction time is reduced, and the purpose of fast imaging is achieved.Meanwhile, the feasibility and the related factors which affect the performance of the proposed method are also analyzed, and the selection criterion of the scene segmentation is afforded. | 19 | Aqueous-phase formation of N-containing secondary organic compounds affected by the ionic strength显示文摘The reaction of carbonyl-to-imine/hemiaminal conversion in the atmospheric aqueous phase is a critical pathway to produce the light-absorbing N-containing secondary organic compounds(SOC).The formation mechanism of these compounds has been wildly investigated in bulk solutions with a low ionic strength.However,the ionic strength in the aqueous phase of the polluted atmosphere may be higher.It is still unclear whether and to what extent the inorganic ions can affect the SOC formation.Here we prepared the bulk solution with certain ionic strength,in which glyoxal and ammonium were mixed to mimic the aqueous-phase reaction.Molecular characterization by High-resolution Mass Spectrometry was performed to identify the N-containing products,and the light absorption of the mixtures was measured by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.Thirty-nine N-containing compounds were identified and divided into four categories(N-heterocyclic chromophores,high-molecular-weight compounds with N-heterocycle,aliphatic imines/hemiaminals,and the unclassified).It was observed that the longer reaction time and higher ionic strength led to the formation of more N-heterocyclic chromophores and the increasing of the lightabsorbance of the mixture.The added inorganic ions were proposed to make the aqueous phase somewhat viscous so that the molecules were prone to undergo consecutive and intramolecular reactions to form the heterocycles.In general,this study revealed that the enhanced ionic strength and prolonged reaction time had the promotion effect on the lightabsorbing SOC formation.It implies that the aldehyde-derived aqueous-phase SOC would contribute more light-absorbing particulate matter in the industrial or populated area where inorganic ions are abundant. | Yuqi Gan Xiaohui Lu Shaodong Chen Xinghua Jiang Shanye Yang Xiewen Ma Mei Li Fan Yang Yewen Shi Xiaofei Wang | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4: | 0 |
| 20 | Effects of Chaiyuwendan decoction on endocannabinoids levels in adipose tissue of rats with chronic stress-induced depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate how Chaiyuwendan decoction(CWD)affects endocannabinoid levels in the adipose tissue of depressed rats.METHODS:Twenty-four male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups with six rats in each.One group was randomly selected as the control group.The remaining three groups were subjected to chronic stress to induce depression.Groups were randomly assigned as a model group,CWD group,and amitriptyline group.CWD was given to the CWD group once a day from the second day of modeling.The amitriptyline group was administered amitriptyline intragastrically(10 mg/kg)once a day.After treatment for 21 days,body weight and fat weight were measured and the levels of N-arachidonoylethanolamine(AEA),2-arachidonoylglycerol(2-AG),and N-palmitoylethanolamine(PEA)in adipose tissue were determined with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.RESULTS:Compared with the control group,body weight,fat weight,AEA,and PEA were significantly lower,and 2-AG was higher,in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Compared with the model group,body weight,fat weight,the AEA,and PEA levels were significantly higher,and 2-AG level was significantly lower in the CWD group(P<0.05).However,the levels did not differ significantly between the CWD group and the amitriptyline group.CONCLUSION:CWD could regulate the levels of AEA,2-AG,and PEA in rats with depression induced by chronic stress. | Shaodong Chen Manting Lin Xiao Zhao Fan Lu YujieWang Shulei Li BinYan Haihong Zhou | 2014 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,1: | 0 |
