1Efficacy and safety of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in pregnancy for the prevention of vertical transmission of HBV infection显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the effects of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)use during late pregnancy to reduce hepatitis B virus(HBV)transmission in highly viremic mothers.METHODS:This retrospective study included 45 pregnant patients with hepatitis B e antigen(+)chronic hepatitis B and HBV DNA levels>107copies/mL who received TDF 300 mg/d from week 18 to 27 of gestation(n=21).Untreated pregnant patients served as controls(n =24).All infants received 200 IU of hepatitis B immune globulin(HBIG)within 24 h postpartum and 20μg of recombinant HBV vaccine at 4,8,and 24 wk.Perinatal transmission rate was determined by hepatitis B surface antigen and HBV DNA results in infants at week 28.RESULTS:At week 28,none of the infants of TDFtreated mothers had immunoprophylaxis failure,whereas2(8.3%)of the infants of control mothers had immunoprophylaxis failure(P=0.022).There were no differences between the groups in terms of adverse events in mothers or congenital deformities,gestational age,height,or weight in infants.At postpartum week 28,significantly more TDF-treated mothers had levels of HBV DNA<250 copies/mL and normalized alanine aminotransferase compared with controls(62%vs none,P<0.001;82%vs 61%,P=0.012,respectively).CONCLUSION:TDF therapy during the second or third trimester reduced perinatal transmission rates of HBV and no adverse events were observed in mothers or infants.Mustafa Kemal Celen Duygu Mert Müzeyyen Ay Tuba Dal Safak Kaya Necmettin Yildirim Serda Gulsun Tunga Barcin Sevgi Kalkanli Mehmet Sinan Dal Celal Ayaz 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,48:26
2有机氮替代比例对冬小麦/夏玉米轮作体系作物产量及N2O排放的影响显示文摘控制农业温室气体排放(如N_2O)是减缓全球气候变暖的一个重要措施.本研究通过动态监测小麦-玉米轮作体系N_2O排放通量,探究不施任何肥料(对照,CK)、单施氮磷钾化肥(NPK)、75%NPK+25%(有机氮M)(25%M)、50%NPK+50%M(50%M)、25%NPK+75%M(75%M)以及100%M,即不同有机氮替代比例对陕西关中塿土冬小麦/夏玉米轮作体系N_2O排放及作物产量的影响.结果表明,各处理N_2O排放通量在施肥、降雨或灌水后出现排放峰值.在小麦季各处理变化幅度为-1.33~144.2μg·(m^2·h)^(-1),其中NPK处理峰值最高.玉米季各处理变化幅度为88.2~1 800.1μg·(m^2·h)^(-1),50%M处理峰值最高.小麦/玉米一个轮作年不同处理N_2O排放总量为429.8~2 632.1 g·hm^(-2),且50%M>25%M>NPK>75%M>100%M>CK.无论小麦、玉米还是一个轮作年总产量,施肥处理产量均显著高于对照.小麦季,施用有机肥的处理小麦产量均显著高于单施化肥处理,增幅达26.1%~50.0%.玉米季,50%M和75%M处理产量与NPK相似,而25%M和100%M处理玉米产量显著低于NPK处理.小麦/玉米轮作总产量变幅为9 166~17 496 kg·hm^(-2),其中50%M和75%M处理显著高于NPK处理,25%M和100%M处理与NPK处理无显著差异.综合考虑塿土小麦/玉米轮作体系有机氮替代化肥氮75%最好,可以保证作物产量、实现N_2O减排.侯苗苗 吕凤莲 张弘弢 周应田 路国艳 Ayaz Muhammad 黎青慧 杨学云 张树兰 2018环境科学2018,39,1:19

5Use of genotype-environment interactions to elucidate the pattern of maize root plasticity to nitrogen deficiency显示文摘Maize(Zea mays L.) root morphology exhibits a high degree of phenotypic plasticity to nitrogen(N) de ficiency,but the underlying genetic architecture remains to be investigated Using an advanced BC_4F_3 population,we investigated the root growth plasticity under two contrasted N levels and identi fied the quantitative trait loci(QTLs) with QTL-environment(Q×E)interaction effects. Principal components analysis(PCA) on changes of root traits to N de ficiency(D LN-HN) showed that root length and biomass contributed for 45.8% in the same magnitude and direction on the first PC,while root traits scattered highly on PC_2 and PC_3. Hierarchical cluster analysis on traits for D LN-HN further assigned the BC_4F_3 lines into six groups,in which the special phenotypic responses to N de ficiency was presented These results revealed the complicated root plasticity of maize in response to N de ficiency that can be caused by genotype environment(G×E) interactions. Furthermore,QTL mapping using a multi-environment analysis identi fied 35 QTLs for root traits. Nine of these QTLs exhibited signi ficant Q×E interaction effects. 6Efficacy and safety of pegylated-interferon α-2a in hemodialysis patients with chronic hepatitis C显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of pegylated-interferon alpha-2a in hemodialysis patients with chronichepatitis C.METHODS: Thirty-six hemodialysis patients with chronichepatitis C were enrolled in a controlled and prospectivestudy. All patients were treatment naive, positivetested for anti-HCV antibodies, and positive tested forserum HCV-RNA. Twenty-two patients received 135 μgpeglyated-interferon a-2a weekly for 48 wk (group A).The remaining patients were left untreated, elevenrefused therapy, and three were not candidates forkidney transplantation and were allocated to the controlgroup (group B). At the end of the treatment biochemicaland virological response was evaluated, and 24 wk aftercompletetion of therapy sustained virological response(SVR) was assessed. Side effects were monitored.RESULTS: Of 22 hemodialysis patients, 12 were maleand 10 female, with a mean age of 35.2 ± 12.1 years.Virological end-of-treatment response was observed in14 patients (82.4%) in group A and in one patient (7.1%)in group B (P = 0.001). Sustained virological responsewas observed in 11 patients (64.7%) in group A and inone patient in group B (7.1%). Biochemical responseparameters normalized in 10/14 patients (71.4%) at theend of the treatment. ALT levels in group B were initiallyhigh in six patients and normalized in one of them (25%)at the end of the 48 wk. In five patients (22.7%) therapyhad to be stopped at mo 4 due to complications ofweakness, anemia, and bleeding.CONCLUSION: SVR could be achieved in 64.7% ofpatients on hemodialysis with chronic hepatitis C by atreatment with peglyated-interferon a-2a. 7Closing the nitrogen use efficiency gap and reducing the environmental impact of wheat-maize cropping on smallholder farms in the Guanzhong Plain,Northwest China显示文摘A high crop yield with the minimum possible cost to the environment is generally desirable.However,the complicated relationships among crop production,nitrogen(N) use efficiency and environmental impacts must be clearly assessed.We conducted a series of on-farm N application rate experiments to establish the linkage between crop yield and N_2 O emissions in the Guanzhong Plain in Northwest China.We also examined crop yield,partial factor productivity of applied N(PFPN) and reactive N(Nr) losses through a survey of 1 529 and 1 497 smallholder farms that grow wheat and maize,respectively,in the region.The optimum N rates were 175 and 214 kg ha^(-1) for winter wheat and summer maize,respectively,thereby achieving the yields of 6 799 and 7 518 kg ha^(-1),correspondingly,with low N_2 O emissions based on on-farm N rate experiments.Among the smallholder farms,the average N application rates were 215 and 294 kg ha^(-1) season^(-1),thus producing 6 490 and 6 220 kg ha^(-1) of wheat and maize,respectively.The corresponding PFPN values for the two crops were 36.8 and 21.2 kg N kg^(-1),and the total N_2 O emissions were 1.50 and 3.88 kg ha^(-1),respectively.High N balance,large Nr losses and elevated N_2 O emissions could be explained by the overdoses of N application and low grain yields under the current farming practice.The crop yields,N application rates,PFPN and total N_2 O for wheat and maize were 18 and 24% higher,42 and 37% less,75 and 116% higher,and 42 and 47% less,correspondingly,in the high-yield and high-PFPN group than in the average smallholder farms.In conclusion,closing the PFPN gap between the current average and the value for the high-yield and high-PFPN group would increase crop production and reduce Nr losses or the total N_2 O emissions for the investigated cropping system in Northwest China.Lü Feng-lian HOU Miao-miao ZHANG Hong-tao Asif Khan Muhammad Ayaz QIANGJIU Ciren HU Chang-lu YANG Xue-yun SUN Ben-hua ZHANG Shu-lan 2019Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,1:5
8Metformin activates chaperone-mediated autophagy and improves disease pathologies in an Alzheimer disease mouse model显示文摘Chaperone-mediated autophagy(CMA)is a lysosome-dependent selective degradation pathway implicated in the pathogenesis of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.However,the mechanisms that regulate CMA are not fully understood.Here,using unbiased drug screening approaches,we discover Metformin,a drug that is commonly the first medication prescribed for type 2 diabetes,can induce CMA.We delineate the mechanism of CMA induction by Metformin to be via activation of TAK1-IKKα/β signaling that leads to phosphorylation of Ser85 of the key mediator of CMA,Hsc70,and its activation.Notably,we find that amyloid-beta precursor protein(APP)is a CMA substrate and that it binds to Hsc70 in an IKKα/β-dependent manner.The inhibition of CMA-mediated degradation of APP enhances its cytotoxicity.Importantly,we find that in the APP/PS1 mouse model of Alzheimer's disease(AD),activation of CMA by Hsc70 overexpression or Metformin potently reduces the accumulated brain Aβplaque levels and reverses the molecular and behavioral AD phenotypes.Our study elucidates a novel mechanism of CMA regulation via Metformin-TAK1-IKKα/β-Hsc70 signaling and suggests Metformin as a new activator of CMA for diseases,such as AD,where such therapeutic intervention could be beneficial.Xiaoyan Xu Yaqin Sun Xufeng Cen Bing Shan Qingwei Zhao Tingxue Xie Zhe Wang Tingjun Hou Yu Xue Mengmeng Zhang Di Peng Qiming Sun Cong Yi Ayaz Najafov Hongguang Xia 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,10:5

10人参皂苷Rg1、Rb1、Rg1+Rb1改善东莨菪碱致小鼠认知障碍的作用比较显示文摘目的比较人参皂苷Rg1、Rb1、Rg1+Rb1改善东莨菪碱模型小鼠短期空间与非空间学习记忆的作用及机制。方法建立东莨菪碱所致认知障碍模型,采用物体认知实验、液相色谱-质谱联用(LC-MS/MS)法、比色法观察人参皂苷Rg1或Rb1(60μmol/kg),Rg1+Rb1(各30μmol/kg相加)对模型小鼠的行为学和神经递质及氧化应激水平的影响。结果与对照组比较,模型小鼠的短期空间学习记忆和非空间学习记忆都受到严重损伤(P<0.001,P<0.001);而石杉碱甲和人参皂苷Rg1、Rb1、Rg1+Rb1给药能显著逆转模型小鼠所引起的短期非空间学习记忆损伤,但人参皂苷Rg1+Rb1改善短期空间学习记忆的能力弱于人参皂苷Rb1(P<0.01)。与对照组比较,模型小鼠海马ACh、5-HT、Glu水平都显著下降,石杉碱甲和人参皂苷Rg1、Rb1、Rg1+Rb1给药能使模型小鼠海马ACh、5-HT、Glu水平显著增加。与对照组比较,模型小鼠血清氧化应激水平显著增高,而石杉碱甲和人参皂苷Rg1、Rb1、Rg1+Rb1给药能使模型小鼠血清SOD、CAT、GSH活力显著增加和MDA水平显著下降,虽然人参皂苷Rg1+Rb1调节GSH活力水平的能力弱于人参皂苷Rb1(P<0.01,P<0.05),但在调节MDA的能力上,人参皂苷Rg1+Rb1强于人参皂苷Rg1、Rb1。结论尽管人参皂苷Rg1+Rb1在各自有效剂量减半组合的情况下,改善空间短时学习记忆的能力有所下降,但三者在改善短时非空间学习记忆损伤的效果是一样的。其差异可能与剂量的选择、调节脑内不同类神经递质ACh、5-HT、Glu和氧化应激水平SOD、CAT、GSH、MDA的能力有关。魏山山 王孟迪 姜宁 Ayaz Ahmed 刘新民 王琼 2022中国比较医学杂志2022,32,4:3
11Influence of acrylamide monomer addition to the acrylic denture-base resins on mechanical and physical properties显示文摘The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of adding acrylamide monomer(AAm) on the characterization, flexural strength, flexural modulus and thermal degradation temperature of poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) denture-base resins. Specimens(n510) were fabricated from a conventional heat-activated QC-20(Qc-) and a microwave heat-activated Acron MC(Ac-) PMMA resins. Powder/ liquid ratio followed the manufacturer's instructions for the control groups(Qc-c and Ac-c) and for the copolymer groups, the resins were prepared with 5%(25), 10%(210), 15%(215) and 20%(220) acrylamide contents, according to the molecular weight ratio, respectively. The flexural strength and flexural modulus were measured by a three-point bending test. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by Kruskal–Wallis test(a50.05) to determine significant differences between the groups. The chemical structures of the resins were characterized by the nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Thermal stabilities were determined by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) with a heating rate of 10 6C?min21from 356C to 600 6C. Control groups from both acrylic resins showed the lowest flexural strength values. Qc-15 showed significant increase in the flexural strength when compared to Qc-c(P,0.01). Ac-10 and Ac-15 showed significance when compared to Ac-c(P,0.01). Acrylamide incorporation increased the elastic modulus in Qc-10, Qc-15 and Qc-20 when compared to Qc-c(P,0.01). Also significant increase was observed in Ac-10, Ac-15 and Ac-20 copolymer groups when compared to Ac-c(P,0.01). According to the1H-nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) results, acrylamide copolymerization was confirmed in the experimental groups. 14Virtual reality systems for rodents显示文摘Over the last decade virtual reality (VR) setups for rodents have been developed and utilized to in-vestigate the neural foundations of behavior. Such VR systems became very popular since theyallow the use of state-of-the-art techniques to measure neural activity in behaving rodents that can-not be easily used with classical behavior setups. Here, we provide an overview of rodent VR tech-nologies and review recent results from related research. We discuss commonalities and differ-ences as well as merits and issues of different approaches. A special focus is given to experimental(behavioral) paradigms in use. 15Improvement of Grain Size and Dome Height of Microalloyed Steels Using Taguchi Method Based on Grey Relational Grade in Controlled Rolling显示文摘An efficient approach was introduced for improving the condition of major controlled rolling process parameters of roughing,finishing and coiling temperatures and optimizing these parameters to obtain minimum grain size and maximum dome height simultaneously.Taguchi method combined with grey relational analysis was applied to achieve optimum grain size and dome height during controlled rolling process.For this purpose,four levels for the above temperatures were chosen and sixteen experiments were conducted based on orthogonal array of Taguchi method.Based on Taguchi approach,signal-to-noise(S/N)ratios were calculated and used in order to obtain the optimum levels for every input parameter.Analysis of variance revealed that finishing and coiling temperatures have the maximum effect on the grain size and dome height of microalloyed steels.The confirmation tests with the optimal levels of parameters indicated that the grain size and dome height of controlled rolled microalloyed steels can be improved effectively through this approach.Mohsen Ayaz Daavood Mirahmadi Khaki Nasrollah Bani Mostafa Arab 2013Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2013,20,12:2

17水肥管理与生物炭对作物产量和氮效率及氮淋失的影响显示文摘【目的】探讨关中平原冬小麦/夏玉米轮作模式下,水分优化、养分优化以及生物炭对作物产量、氮效率和氮素淋失的影响。【方法】2016-2018年,利用田间渗漏池试验,设计习惯水肥1(CP1)、习惯水肥2(CP2)、灌水优化(CP1-W)、养分优化(CP1-F)、水分养分优化(OPT)、习惯水肥2+生物炭(CP2+B)以及水分养分优化+生物炭(OPT+B)7个处理,测定2016-2017,2017-2018年不同处理的作物产量、氮肥偏生产力、氮素淋失的变化。【结果】与CP1处理相比,CP1-W、CP1-F和OPT处理未显著影响作物总产量,但是CP1-F和OPT处理显著降低了第二个轮作年(2017-2018年)小麦产量。就2个轮作年而言,CP1-F和OPT较CP1处理总体上显著增加了氮肥偏生产力,平均增幅分别为33.6%和21.7%。在2016-2017和2017-2018两个轮作年,CP1-W、CP1-F和OPT处理的TN淋失量均降低,其中OPT处理显著降低2个轮作年硝态氮(NO_(3)--N)和总氮(TN)淋失量。在2个轮作年,与CP2处理相比,CP2+B处理显著提高了作物总产量和氮肥偏生产力,显著降低TN淋失量。与OPT处理相比,OPT+B处理未能显著影响作物总产量和氮肥偏生产力,但显著降低了TN淋失量。【结论】陕西关中平原农户水肥施用过量,在习惯水肥的基础上合理调控水肥,可以保证作物产量,提高氮肥利用率,降低氮素淋失量,而施用生物炭的效应不明显。卢慧宇 杜文婷 张弘弢 Ayaz Muhanmond 徐佳星 王仁杰 李若楠 杨学云 张树兰 2021西北农林科技大学学报(自然科学版)2021,49,3:2
18THE EVOLUTION OF FIELD DEPLOYABLE fNIR SPECTROSCOPY FROM BENCH TO CLINICAL SETTINGS显示文摘In the late 1980s and early 1990s,Dr.Britton Chance and his colleagues,using picosecond-long laser pulses,spearheaded the development of time-resolved spectroscopy techniques in an effort to obtain quantitative information about the optical characteristics of the tissue.These efforts by Chance and colleagues expedited the translation of near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS)-based techniques into a neuroimaging modality for various cognitive studies.Beginning in the early 2000s,Dr.Britton Chance guided and steered the collaboration with the Optical Brain Imaging team at Drexel University toward the development and application of afield deployable continuous wave functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIR)system as a means to monitor cognitive functions,particularly during attention and working memory tasks as well as for complex tasks such as war games and air tra±c control scenarios performed by healthy volunteers under operational conditions.Further,these collaborative efforts led to various clinical applications,including traumatic brain injury,depth of anesthesia monitoring,pediatric pain assessment,and braincomputer interface in neurology.In this paper,we introduce how these collaborative studies have made fNIR an excellent candidate for specified clinical and research applications,including repeated cortical neuroimaging,bedside or home monitoring,the elicitation of a positive effect,and protocols requiring ecological validity.This paper represents a token of our gratitude to Dr.Britton Chance for his influence and leadership.Through this manuscript we show our appreciation by contributing to his commemoration and through our work we will strive to advance thefield of optical brain imaging and promote his legacy.KURTULUS IZZETOGLU HASAN AYAZ ANNA MERZAGORA MELTEM IZZETOGLU PATRICIA ASHEWOKIS SCOTT CBUNCE KAMBIZ POURREZAEI ARYE ROSEN BANU ONARAL 2011Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2011,4,3:2
