1Recent Progress in the Fabrication, Properties, and Devices of Heterostructures Based on 2D Materials显示文摘With a large number of researches being conducted on two?dimen?sional(2D) materials, their unique properties in optics, electrics, mechanics, and magnetics have attracted increasing attention. Accordingly, the idea of combining distinct functional 2D materials into heterostructures naturally emerged that pro?vides unprecedented platforms for exploring new physics that are not accessible in a single 2D material or 3D heterostructures. Along with the rapid development of controllable, scalable, and programmed synthesis techniques of high?quality 2D heterostructures, various heterostructure devices with extraordinary performance have been designed and fabricated, including tunneling transistors, photodetectors, and spintronic devices. 2Valleytronics in transition metal dichalcogenides materials显示文摘Valley degree of freedom in the first Brillouin zone of Bloch electrons offers an innovative approach to information storage and quantum computation.Broken inversion symmetry together with the presence of time-reversal symmetry endows Bloch electrons non-zero Berry curvature and orbital magnetic moment,which contribute to the valley Hall effect and optical selection rules in valleytronics.Furthermore,the emerging transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)materials naturally become the ideal candidates for valleytronics research attributable to their novel structural,photonic and electronic properties,especially the direct bandgap and broken inversion symmetry in the monolayer.However,the mechanism of inter-valley relaxation remains ambiguous and the complicated manipulation of valley predominantly incumbers the realization of valleytronic devices.In this review,we systematically demonstrate the fundamental properties and tuning strategies(optical,electrical,magnetic and mechanical tuning)of valley degree of freedom,summarize the recent progress of TMD-based valleytronic devices.We also highlight the conclusion of present challenges as well as the perspective on the further investigations in valleytronics.Yanping Liu Yuanji Gao Siyu Zhang Jun He Juan Yu Zongwen Liu 2019Nano Research2019,12,11:6
3A Comparative Study of the Cellular Microscopic Characteristics and Mechanisms of Maize Seedling Damage from Superabsorbent Polymers显示文摘Superabsorbent polymers(SAPs) as soil moisture conditioners have been increasingly used in agriculture, but conflicting results were reported regarding the effects of SAPs on crop growth. In this study, both laboratory cultivation and analysis were conducted to investigate the effects of different SAPs on the growth and physiology of crops under water-saving agricultural practices. Maize(Zea mays L.) seedlings were cultivated using distilled water or three different SAP hydrogels, sodium polyacrylate(SP), potassium polyacrylate(PP), and sodium polyacrylate embedded with phosphate rock powder(SPP), as growth media. Growth characteristics of the model plant and damage were assessed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The results showed that both the SP and PP treatments had pronounced negative effect on the hydrogels of growth of maize seedlings. The SPP treatment appeared to facilitate the stem-leaf growth and had no obvious adverse effect on root growth. All the three hydrogel treatments caused varying degrees of damage to the organizational structure and cellular morphology of the roots, with the SP and PP treatments causing the most severe damage; the membrane system of root cells was damaged by both SP and PP treatments. 4A genetic linkage map of hexaploid naked oat constructed with SSR markers显示文摘Naked oat is a unique health food crop in China. Using 202 F2 individuals derived from a hybrid between the variety 578 and the landrace Sanfensan, we constructed a genetic linkage map consisting of 22 linkage groups covering 2070.50 c M and including 208 simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers. The minimum distance between adjacent markers was0.01 c M and the average was 9.95 c M. Each linkage group contained 2–22 markers. The largest linkage group covered 174.40 c M and the shortest one covered 36.80 c M, with an average of 94.11 c M. Thirty-six markers(17.3%) showing distorted segregation were distributed across linkage groups LG5 to LG22. 5Discrete Stress-strength Interference Model of Reliability Analysis under Multi-operating Conditions显示文摘The conventional stress-strength interference(SSI) model is a basic model for reliability analysis of mechanical components. In this model, the component reliability is defined as the probability of the strength being larger than the stress, where the component stress is generally represented by a single random variable(RV). But for a component under multi-operating conditions, its reliability can not be calculated directly by using the SSI model. The problem arises from that the stress on a component under multi-operating conditions can not be described by a single RV properly. Current research concerning the SSI model mainly focuses on the calculation of the static or dynamic reliability of the component under single operation condition. To evaluate the component reliability under multi-operating conditions, this paper uses multiple discrete RVs based on the actual stress range of the component firstly. These discrete RVs have identical possible values and different corresponding probability value, which are used to represent the multi-operating conditions of the component. Then the component reliability under each operating condition is calculated, respectively, by employing the discrete SSI model and the universal generating function technique, and from this the discrete SSI model under multi-operating conditions is proposed. Finally the proposed model is applied to evaluate the reliability of a transmission component of the decelerator installed in an aeroengine. The reliability of this component during taking-off, cruising and landing phases of an aircraft are calculated, respectively. 6Neuro-protective effects of CNTF on hippocampal neurons via an unknown signal transduction pathway显示文摘In our previous study, we proposed that there may be an unknown pathway in the upper stream of the known signal transduction pathway of Ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) that mediates the neuro-protective function of CNTF. In the present experiment, we observed that the neuro-protective function of the non-classic signal transduction path- way in a L-NMDA (a glutamic acid ion type receptor atagonist) induced hippocampal neuron injury model, using primary culture rat hippocampal neurons, con- tinuous photography and gp130 immunohistochemi- cal assay. The results showed that L-NMDA induced injurious reaction of hippocampal neurons, and CNTF was able to inhibit the toxic action of L-NMDA on hippocampal neurons. Additionally, when JAK/STATs in the known classic signal transduction pathway of CNTF were blocked by PTPi-2, the protective effect of CNTF against L-NMDA injury still existed. L-NMDA caused a rapid increase in the concentration of hip- pocampal intracellular free [Ca2+]i. 7High-performance polarization-sensitive photodetector based on a few-layered PdSe2 nanosheet显示文摘The extraordinary optical and electronic properties of anisotropic two-dimensional materials,such as black phosphorus,ReS2,and GeSe,enable them a promising component of polarization-sensitive photodetectors.However,these applications are significantly limited by the challenges of air-stability,response time,and linearly dichroic ratio.Interestingly,palladium diselenide(PdSe2)with high air stability is an emerging material that has robust in-plane anisotropy induced by its asymmetric pentagonal lattice structure.We have successfully prepared a few-layer PdSe2 using micromechanical exfoliation,and here we demonstrate the strong linear dichroism behavior of PdSe2 by polarization-resolved absorption spectra measurements.Such unique linear dichroism,endows the PdSe2 photodetector powerful ability to detect polarized light.The photodetector based on 5L PdSe2,as tested with polarization-dependent photocurrent mapping,exhibited competitive capability to detect polarized light,achieving a significant photocurrent on/off ratio(>10^2),the quite fast response time(<11 ms)and robust linearly dichroic ratios(/max//min≈1.9 at 532 nm).These results are essential advance in the development of polarization-sensitive photodetector,a crucial step towards opening up a new avenue for the application of 2D optoelectronic devices.Jiahong Zhong Juan Yu Lingkai Cao Cheng Zeng Junnan Ding Chunxiao Cong Zongwen Liu Yanping Liu 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:4
8Observation of double indirect interlayer exciton in MoSe_(2)/WSe_(2) heterostructure显示文摘Interlayer excitons(IXS)are electron–hole pairs bound in the spatial separation layer by the Coulomb effect,and their lifetime is several orders of magnitude longer than that of direct excitons,providing an essential platform for long-lived exciton devices.The recent emergence of the van der Waals heterostructure(HS),which combines two layers of different transitional metal dichalcogenides(TMDs),has created new opportunities for IX research.Herein,we demonstrate the observation of double indirect interlayer excitons in the MoSe_(2)/WSe_(2)HS using photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy.The intensities of the two peaks are essentially the same,and the energy difference is 22 meV,which is perfectly in line with the calculation result of density functional theory.Furthermore,the experience of variable excitation power also proves that the splitting of the IXs originates from the conduction band spin-splitting of MoSe_(2).The observation results provide a promising platform for further exploring the new physical properties and optoelectronic phenomena of TMD HS.Biao Wu Yunpeng Wang Jiahong Zhong Cheng Zeng Yassine Madoune Wanting Zhu Zongwen Liu Yanping Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:3

10Fast mapping of a chlorophyll b synthesis-deficiency gene in barley(Hordeum vulgare L.) via bulked-segregant analysis with reduced-representation sequencing显示文摘Bulked-segregant analysis coupled with next-generation sequencing(BSA-seq) has emerged as an efficient tool for genetic mapping of single genes or major quantitative trait loci controlling(agronomic) traits of interest. However, such a mapping-by-sequencing approach usually relies on deep sequencing and advanced statistical methods. Application of BSA-Seq based on construction of reduced-representation libraries and allele frequency analysis permitted anchoring the barley pale-green(pg) gene on chromosome 3 HL. With further marker-assisted validation, pg was mapped to a 3.9 Mb physical-map interval. In the pg mutant a complete deletion of chlorophyllide a oxygenase(HvCAO) gene was identified.Because the product of this gene converts Chl a to Chl b, the pg mutant is deficient in Chl b.An independent Chl b-less mutant line M4437_2 carried a nonsynonymous substitution(F263 L) in the C domain of HvCAO. 11Proteomic analysis reveals distinctive protein profiles involved in CD8^(+) T cell-mediated murine autoimmune cholangitis显示文摘Autoimmune cholangitis arises from abnormal innate and adaptive immune responses in the liver,and T cells are critical drivers in this process.However,little is known about the regulation of their functional behavior during disease development.We previously reported that mice with T cell-restricted expression of a dominant negative form of transforming growth factor beta receptor type Ⅱ(dnTGFβ RII)spontaneously develop an autoimmune cholangitis that resembles human primary biliary cholangitis(PBC).Adoptive transfer of CD8^(+) but not CD4^(+) T cells into Rag1^(−/−)mice reproduced the disease,demonstrating a critical role for CD8^(+) T cells in PBC pathogenesis.Herein,we used SOMAscan technology to perform proteomic analysis of serum samples from dnTGFβRII and B6 control mice at different ages.In addition,we analyzed CD8 protein profiles after adoptive transfer of splenic CD8^(+) cells into Rag1^(−/−)recipients.The use of the unique SOMAscan aptamer technology revealed critical and distinct profiles of CD8 cells,which are key to biliary mediation.In total,254 proteins were significantly increased while 216 proteins were significantly decreased in recipient hepatic CD8^(+) cells compared to donor splenic CD8^(+) cells.In contrast to donor splenic CD8^(+) cells,recipient hepatic CD8^(+) cells expressed distinct profiles for proteins involved in chemokine signaling,focal adhesion,T cell receptor and natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity pathways.Weici Zhang Ren Zhang Jun Zhang Ying Sun Patrick SC Leung Guo-Xiang Yang Zongwen Shuai William M Ridgway M Eric Gershwin 2018Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,8:3
12High population and dispersion of pentacoordinated Al~Ⅴ species on the surface of ?ame-made amorphous silica-alumina显示文摘Pentacoordinated Al(Al~Ⅴ)species in silica-alumina are promising to promote the formation of acid sites or act as surface defects for tailoring single-atom catalysts.However,pentahedral coordination(Al~Ⅴ)is rarely observed in conventionally prepared silica-alumina.Here,we show that high population and dispersion of Al~Ⅴ species on the surface of amorphous silica-alumina(ASA)can be achieved by means of flame spray pyrolysis.High resolution TEM/EDX,high magnetic-field NMR and DFT calculations are employed to characterize the structure of as-prepared ASAs.Solid-state ^(27)Al multi-quantum MAS NMR experiments show that most of the Al~Ⅴspecies are formed independently from the alumina phase and are accessible for guest molecules on the surface.Upon water adsorption,these Al~Ⅴ species are transformed to Al~Ⅵ species,structurally similar to surface Al~Ⅳ species,as confirmed by DFT calculations.The outstanding catalytic activity of as-synthesized ASA is demonstrated using the in situ H/D exchange reaction with deuterated benzene as an example.The Al~Ⅴ-rich ASA provides a much lower activation energy(~30 kJ/mol)than that reported for zeolite H-ZSM-5(~60 kJ/mol).The superior catalytic performance is attributed to the high Al~Ⅴcontent promoting the surface active sites in ASA.The knowledge gained on the synthesis of Al~Ⅴ-rich ASAs and the nature of aluminum coordination in these materials could pave the way to more efficient silica-alumina based catalysts.Zichun Wang Yijiao Jiang Xianfeng Yi Cuifeng Zhou Aditya Rawal James Hook Zongwen Liu Feng Deng Anmin Zheng Michael Hunger Alfons Baiker Jun Huang 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,8:2

14PdSe_(2)/MoSe_(2) vertical heterojunction for self-powered photodetector with high performance显示文摘Van der Waals’two-dimensional(2D)material heterostructure engineering offers an effective strategy for the design of multifunctional and high-performance optoelectronic devices.However,2D heterostructure photodetectors with a photoconductive effect tend to suffer from high driving source-drain voltages and significant dark noise currents.Herein,a self-powered photodetector with high performance was fabricated based on vertically stacked graphene/MoSe_(2)/PdSe_(2)/graphene heterojunctions through a dry transfer method.The fabricated device displays current rectification characteristics in darkness(on/off ratio>10^(3))and superior photovoltaic behaviors under illumination.In addition,benefitting from the strong built-in field,the Gr/PdSe_(2)/MoSe_(2)/Gr heterojunction photodetector is able to respond to a broad spectrum from visible to near-infrared(NIR)with a remarkable responsivity of 651 mA·W^(−1),a high specific detectivity of 5.29×10^(11) Jones and a fast response speed of 41.7/62.5μs.Moreover,an enhanced responsivity of 1.16 A·W^(−1) has been obtained by a reverse voltage(−1 V)and further evaluation on image recognition has also demonstrated the great application potential of the Gr/MoSe_(2)/PdSe_(2)/Gr heterojunction photodetector.The findings are expected to bring new opportunities for the development of highly sensitive,high-speed and energy-efficient photodetectors for comprehensive applications.Jiahong Zhong Biao Wu Yassine MADOUNE Yunpeng Wang Zongwen Liu Yanping Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:2
15Recent Advances of Monolithic All-Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells:From Materials to Devices显示文摘Organic-inorganic metal-halide perovskite solar cells(PerSCs)have achieved significant progresses due to their outstanding optoelectronic charac-teristics,and the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of single-junction PerSCs has been boosted from 3.8%to a certified 25.2%.However,the efficien-cy of single-junction cells is governed by the Shockley-Queisser(S-Q)radiative limit,and fabricating all-perovskite tandem solar cells is a particularly attractive method to break the S-Q limit.Since the bandgap of lead(Pb)-based mixed halide perovskite can be tuned from 1.55 eV to 2.3 eV,and the mixed tin(Sn)-Pb perovskites have bandgap of~1.2 eV,these perovskites become the best candidates for the front and rear subcells of all-perovskite tandem device,respectively.In this review,we firstly summarize the current development progresses of two-terminal(2-T)all-perovskite tandem so-lar cells.For further optimizing the device performance,the wide bandgap mixed halide perovskites for front subcell,mixed Sn-Pb narrow bandgap perovskites for rear subcell,and the interconnection layer(ICL)of 2-T tandem device are then discussed.This review aims to open a pathway to real-ize highly efficient all-perovskite tandem solar cells.Shan Jiang Yiming Bai Zongwen Ma Shengli Jin Chao Zou Zhao'ao Tan 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,7:2
