| 1 | Constraint-induced movement therapy promotes brain functional reorganization in stroke patients with hemiplegia显示文摘Stroke patients with hemiplegia exhibit flexor spasms in the upper limb and extensor spasms in the lower limb, and their movement patterns vary greatly. Constraint-induced movement therapy is an upper limb rehabilitation technique used in stroke patients with hemiplegia; however, studies of lower extremity rehabilitation are scarce. In this study, stroke patients with lower limb hemiplegia underwent conventional Bobath therapy for 4 weeks as baseline treatment, followed by constraint-induced movement therapy for an additional 4 weeks. The 10-m maximum walking speed and Berg balance scale scores significantly improved following treatment, and lower extremity motor function also improved. The results of functional MRI showed that constraint-induced movement therapy alleviates the reduction in cerebral functional activation in patients, which indicates activation of functional brain regions and a significant increase in cerebral blood perfusion. | 3 | Flotation performance of a novel Gemini collector for kaolinite at low temperature显示文摘How to sustainably produce bauxite by effective reverse froth flotation of kaolinite at low temperature is an urgent problem to be solved in the field of mineral processing.In this work,a novel amino-based Gemini surfactant butadiyl-1,4-bis(dimethyl dodecylammonium bromide)(BBDB) was prepared and first utilized as a novel collector for kaolinite flotation.Its flotation performance for kaolinite was compared with that of the common monomolecular surfactant 1-dodecylamine(DDA) by micro-flotation tests.The tests results indicated that 95% kaolinite recovery was obtained using 2.0×10^(-4) mol/L BBDB at 25℃ which was half of the dosage when DDA obtained the maximum kaolinite recovery of81%.At extremely low temperature(0℃),3.0×10^(-4) mol/L BBDB could still collect 91% kaolinite,while DDA showed a frustrating ability.The contact angle tests indicated that BBDB could still significantly improve the hydrophobicity of the kaolinite surface(contact angle 71.7°) than DDA(contact angle only25.8°) at 0℃.The Krafft point comparison tests indicated that BBDB had a much lower Krafft point(below0℃) than DDA.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)-spectrum analysis and zeta potential measurements showed that BBDB was physically adsorbed on the surface of kaolinite through electrostatic interaction. | Shiyong Zhang Zhiqiang Huang Hongling Wang Rukuan Liu Chen Cheng Shuyi Shuai Yajing Hu Zhiqun Guo Xinyang Yu Guichun He Weng Fu | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6: | 2 |
| 4 | Application of an antibody chip for screening differentially expressed proteins during peach ripening and identification of a metabolon in the SAM cycle to generate a peach ethylene biosynthesis model显示文摘Peach(Prunus persica)is a typical climacteric fruit that produces ethylene rapidly during ripening,and its fruit softens quickly.Stony hard peach cultivars,however,do not produce large amounts of ethylene,and the fruit remains firm until fully ripe,thus differing from melting flesh peach cultivars.To identify the key proteins involved in peach fruit ripening,an antibody-based proteomic analysis was conducted.A mega-monoclonal antibody(mAb)library was generated and arrayed on a chip(mAbArray)at a high density,covering~4950 different proteins of peach.Through the screening of peach fruit proteins with the mAbArray chip,differentially expressed proteins recognized by 1587 mAbs were identified,and 33 corresponding antigens were ultimately identified by immunoprecipitation and mass spectrometry.These proteins included not only important enzymes involved in ethylene biosynthesis,such as ACO1,SAHH,SAMS,and MetE,but also novel factors such as NUDT2.Furthermore,protein–protein interaction analysis identified a metabolon containing SAHH and MetE.By combining the antibody-based proteomic data with the transcriptomic and metabolic data,a mathematical model of ethylene biosynthesis in peach was constructed.Simulation results showed that MetE is an important regulator during peach ripening,partially through interaction with SAHH. | Wenfang Zeng Liang Niu Zhaohui Wang Xiaobei Wang Yan Wang Lei Pan Zhenhua Lu Guochao Cui Weining Weng Mingqiao Wang Xun Meng Zhiqiang Wang | 2020 | Horticulture Research2020,7,1: | 2 |
| 5 | Mapping QTL for flowering time-related traits under three plant densities in maize显示文摘Flowering time is an indicator of adaptation in maize and a key trait for selection in breeding.The genetic basis of flowering time in maize,especially in response to plant density,remains unclear.The objective of this study was to identify maize quantitative trait loci(QTL)associated with flowering time-related traits that are stably expressed under several plant densities and show additive effects that vary with plant density.Three hundred recombinant inbred lines(RIL)derived from a cross between Ye 478 and Qi 319,together with their parents,were planted at three plant densities(90,000,120,000,and 150,000 plants ha^(-1))in four environments.The five traits investigated were days to tasseling(DTT),days to silking(DTS),days to pollen shed(DTP),interval between anthesis and silking(ASI),and interval between tasseling and anthesis(TAI).A high-resolution bin map was used for QTL mapping.In the RIL population,the DTT,DTS,and DTP values increased with plant density,whereas the ASI and TAI values showed negligible response to plant density.A total of 72 QTL were identified for flowering time-related traits,including 15 stably expressed across environments.Maize flowering time under different densities seems to be regulated by complex pathways rather than by several major genes or an independent pathway.The effects of some stable QTL,especially qDTT8-1 and qDTT10-4,varied with plant density.Fine mapping and cloning of these QTL will shed light on the mechanism of flowering time and assist in breeding earlymaturing maize inbred lines and hybrids. | Liwei Wang Zhiqiang Zhou Ronggai Li Jianfeng Weng Quanguo Zhang Xinghua Li Baoqiang Wang Wenying Zhang Wei Song Xinhai Li | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,2: | 2 |

| 19 | Endoscopy demand among county people in southeast China:A cross-sectional study显示文摘Objective The popularization of gastroenteroscopy and the introduction of comfortable medical care have further promoted the growth of people's demand,especially the demand for painless endoscopy.This cross-sectional study aims to investigate the current situation and change in county people's demand for endoscopy to promote the development of endoscopy centers in county hospitals in southeast China.Methods From October to December 2021,patients and their family members who came to the Gastroenterology Department in Suichang County People's Hospital of Zhejiang Province were randomly selected to complete the questionnaire.A total of 838 valid questionnaires were collected.Additionally,the original software data of the Endoscopy Center were sampled and retrieved(from October to December every year from 2018 to 2021)for statistical analysis of real-world data.Those who would choose painless endoscopy the next time in the valid questionnaires were included in the painless endoscopy group,while those who would choose ordinary endoscopy the next time were included in the ordinary endoscopy group.Results The stepwise forward binary logistic regression model analysis showed that,patients with“secondhand smoke exposure”were more willing to choose painless endoscopy(OR=1.459,95%CI:1.050-2.028,p=0.025).However,patients with an education level of“primary and below”and“junior high school”,and patients who are suffering from“currently experiencing abdominal distension”,were more willing to choose ordinary endoscopy(OR=0.270,95%CI:0.149-0.488,p<0.001;OR=0.528,95%CI:0.330-0.845,p=0.008;OR=0.536,95%CI:0.334-0.861,p=0.010).Patients with previous experience in painless endoscopy tended to choose painless endoscopy the next time,while patients with previous experience in ordinary endoscopy tended to choose ordinary endoscopy the next time(χ^(2)=140.97,p<0.001).From 2018 to 2021,the proportion of painless endoscopy has increased yearly(p<0.001).Most patients indicated that they would“regularly review gastroenteroscopy”(477/838,56.9%).Conclusions With Suichang County of Zhejiang Province as the representative,the demand for painless endoscopy for people's gastrointestinal cancer detection in southeast China has been increasing yearly.The development of endoscopy centers in county-level hospitals can basically meet the demand growth.Meanwhile,advanced concepts such as comfortable medical care and regular follow-up are gradually popularized at the grassroots level in southeast China. | Huihui Yan Zhenghua Lin Shuangjing Gao Chenyu Fan Mengyue Jiang Liying Que Lanfang Zhou Yingdi Weng Jing Shu Tongyun Zhang Jian Hu Zhiqiang Liu Xi Ye Jianting Cai Guangfa Liao | 2023 | Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2023,6,1: | 0 |
| 20 | A differentially methylated region of the ZmCCT10 promoter affects flowering time in hybrid maize显示文摘Flowering time(FT) is a key maize domestication trait, variation in which allows maize to grow in a wide range of latitudes. Although previous studies have investigated the genetic control of FT-related traits per se, few studies of FT hybrid performance have been published. We characterized the genomic architecture associated with hybrid performance for FT in a hybrid panel by testcrossing Chang 7–2 with 328Ye478 × Qi319 recombinant inbred lines(RILs). We identified 11 quantitative trait loci(QTL) for hybrid performance in FT-related traits, including a major QTL qFH10 that controls hybrid performance and heterosis in a summer maize-growing region. However, this locus acts in regulating FT traits per se only in a spring maize-growing region.
