| 1 | Whole-Genome Resequencing of a Worldwide Collection of Rapeseed Accessions Reveals the Genetic Basis of Ecotype Divergence显示文摘Rapeseed (Brassica napus),an important oilseed crop,has adapted to diverse climate zones and latitudes by forming three main ecotype groups,namely winter,semiwinter,and spring types. However,genetic variations underlying the divergence of these ecotypes are largely unknown. Here,we report the global pattern of genetic polymorphisms in rapeseed determined by resequencing a worldwide collection of 991 germplasm accessions.A total of 5.56 and 5.53 million singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)as Well as 1.86 and 1.92 million InDels were identified by mapping reads to the reference genomes of 'Darmor-bzh'and 'Tapidor,'respectively.We generated a map of allelic drift paths that shows splits and mixtures of the main populations,and revealed an asymmetric evolution of the two subgenomes of B.napus by calculating the genetic diversity and linkage disequilibrium parameters.Selective-sweep analysis revealed genetic changes in genes orthologous to those regulating various aspects of plant development and response to stresses.A genome-wide association study identified SNPs in the promoter regions of FLOWERING LOCUS T and FLOWERING LOCUS C orthologs that corresponded to the different rapeseed ecotype groups. | 2 | Spatial distributions and interannual variations of snow cover over China in the last 40 years显示文摘By using the observational snow data of more than 700 weather stations,the interannual temporal and spatial characteristics of seasonal snow cover in China were analyzed.The results show that northern Xinjiang,northeastern China-Inner Mongolia,and the southwestern and southern portions of Tibetan Plateau are three regions in China with high seasonal snow cover and also an interannual anomaly of snow cover.According to the trend of both the snow depth and snow cover days,there are three changing patterns for the seasonal snow cover:The first type is that both snow depth and snow cover days simultaneously increase or decrease;this includes northern Xinjiang,middle and eastern Inner Mongolia,and so on.The second is that snow depth increases but snow cover days decrease;this type mainly locates in the eastern parts of the northeastern plain of China and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.The last type is that snow depth decreases but snow cover days increase at the same time such as that in middle parts of Tibetan Plateau.Snow cover in China appears to have been having a slow increasing trend during the last 40 years.On the decadal scale,snow depth and snow cover days slightly increased in the 1960s and then decreased in the 1970s;they again turn to increasing in the 1980s and persist into 1990s. | ChengHai Wang ZhiLan Wang Yang Cui | 2009 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2009,1,6: | 8 |
| 3 | Causes and Changes of Drought in China:Research Progress and Prospects显示文摘Drought is one of the most serious and extensive natural hazards in the world.Subject to monsoon climate variability,China is particularly influenced by drought hazards,especially meteorological drought.Based on a comprehensive understanding of the current status of international drought research,this paper systematically reviews the history and achievements of drought research in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,from four main perspectives:characteristics and spatiotemporal distribution of historical and recent drought events,drought formation mechanism and change trend,drought hazard risk,and the particular flash drought.The progress and problems of drought research in China are analyzed and future prospects are proposed,with emphasis on the multi-factor synergetic effect for drought formation;the effect of land-atmosphere interaction;identification,monitoring,and prediction of flash drought;categorization of drought and characteristics among various types of drought;the agricultural drought development;drought response to climate warming;and assessment of drought hazard risks.It is suggested that strengthening scientific experimental research on drought in China is imperative.The present review is conducive to strategic planning of drought research and application,and may facilitate further development of drought research in China. | Qiang ZHANG Yubi YAO Yaohui LI Jianping HUANG Zhuguo MA Zhilan WANG Suping WANG Ying WANG Yu ZHANG | 2020 | Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,3: | 8 |
| 4 | Geographical genetic diversity and divergence of common wild rice (O. rufipogon Griff.) in China显示文摘Using 36 SSR markers and 889 accessions of common wild rice in China, the genetic diversity and the divergence among different geographical populations are investigated. Guangdong Province has the largest number of alleles, which account for 84% of the total alleles detected in the study, followed by Guangxi Province. The Nei's gene diversity indices, from high to low, are in the sequence of Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Yunnan provinces. Two genetic diversity centers of Chinese common wild rice are detected on the basis of geographic analysis, i.e., the region covering Boluo, Zijin, Lufeng, Haifeng, Huidong and Huiyang counties of Guangdong Province and the region covering Yongning, Longan, Laibin and Guigang counties of Guangxi Province. The common wild rice in Yunnan, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces are diverged into respectively independent populations with relatively large genetic distances, whereas, those in Hainan, Guangdong and Guangxi provinces have relatively low genetic divergence. | 5 | THE GENETIC DIVERSITY OF GAOZHOU WILD RICE ANALYZED BY SSR显示文摘The genetic diversity of total 240 acces- sions of common wild rice coming from Gaozhou, Shaoguan, Zhanjiang, and other places in Guang- dong, and Jiangxi, Fujian, Yunnan provinces, etc. in China and South-eastern Asia was evaluated by us- ing 24 pairs of SSR primers. The results indicated that: (i) there were 17 polymorphic loci in 24 pairs of SSR primers, and the average percentage of poly- morphic loci was 69%; the average total number of alleles, the average number of alleles per locus and the average number of alleles per polymorphic loci were 51.1, 2.04 and 2.43, respectively; (ii) the aver- age gene diversity was 0.8447. There were remark- able differentiations among 5 populations of Gaozhou wild rice. All the above-mentioned genetic parame- ters indicated that Gaozhou wild rice of Pengshan Village (or Bei Toudong) of Zhenjiang Town should be a center of genetic differentiation and diversity of Gaozhou wild rice. | 6 | Human papillomavirus 16 physical status detection in preinvasive and invasive cervical carcinoma by multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction显示文摘Objective: To explore an ideal approach for detecting the physical status of HPV-16 in clinic use and to investigate the integrated HPV-16 in CINs and cervical cancer. Methods: Multiplex real-time PCR method was established to quantify the copy numbers of E2 and E6 genes (E2/E6) for analysis of the physical status of HPV-16 DNA and this assay was compared to Southern blot analysis. HPV-16-containing paraffin-embedded tissues including 49 CINs and 51 cervical squamous cancers were detected using the method. Results: (1) The cutoff ratio of E2/E6 to distinguish pure episomal from mixed HPV-16, was 0.81 in the multiplex real-time PCR; (2) The agreement rate between multiplex real-time PCR and Southern blot was 81.5% (the Kappa statistic was 0.844, P<0.001); (3) HPV-16 DNA existed in an episomal form in 57.1% and mixed form in 42.9% of CIN I lesions; The concomitant form of HPV-16 (>70%) constituted the majority in CIN II and CIN III; HPV-16 DNA mostly integrated into the host chromosome (s) in squamous cervical cancers (68.6%); (4) The incidence of HPV-16 integration was increased with the degree of cervical lesions; (5) The frequency of pure integrated HPV-16 in stage II+III (88%) was signifi- cantly higher than that in stage I (33.3%). | 8 | 287例盆腔及腹主动脉旁淋巴结清扫术与卵巢上皮性癌生存预后的临床分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the relationship between the pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy and the prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods: 287 patients suffering from primary epithelial ovarian cancer from 1995 to 2005 were analyzed retrospectively. Results: The 3-, 5-, 10-year survival with systematic lymphadenectomy (SL) were slightly higher than those without SL, but there were no statistically significance (P > 0.05). The 3-, 5-, 10-year survival of clinical stages without SL were lower than those with SL, but there were no significant difference either (P > 0.05). The 3-,5-, and 10-year survival rates with SL were higher than those without SL with no statistically differences (P > 0.05) among the subgroups such as absent, ≤ 2 cm and > 2 cm residual tumor. The survival rates of the groups without residual tumor and the group with ≤ 2 cm residual tumor were significantly higher than that of > 2 cm (P < 0.005). On multivariate analysis, patient staging (P = 0.01) and size of residual disease after primary cytoreductive surgery (P < 0.001 and = 0.002, respectively) retained prognostic significance. SL was not proved to be an independent prognostic factor (P = 0.69).
