1Identification of Cognitive Dysfunction in Patients with T2DM Using Whole Brain Functional Connectivity显示文摘Majority of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients are highly susceptible to several forms of cognitive impairments,particularly dementia.However,the underlying neural mechanism of these cognitive impairments remains unclear.We aimed to investigate the correlation between whole brain resting state functional connections(RSFCs)and the cognitive status in 95 patients with T2DM.We constructed an elastic net model to estimate the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)scores,which served as an index of the cognitive status of the patients,and to select the RSFCs for further prediction.Subsequently,we utilized a machine learning technique to evaluate the discriminative ability of the connectivity pattern associated with the selected RSFCs.The estimated and chronological MoCA scores were significantly correlated with R=0.81 and the mean absolute error(MAE)=1.20.Additionally,cognitive impairments of patients with T2DM can be identified using the RSFC pattern with classification accuracy of 90.54%and the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve(AUC)of 0.9737.This connectivity pattern not only included the connections between regions within the default mode network(DMN),but also the functional connectivity between the task-positive networks and the DMN,as well as those within the task-positive networks.The results suggest that an RSFC pattern could be regarded as a potential biomarker to identify the cognitive status of patients with T2DM.Zhenyu Liu Jiangang Liu Huijuan Yuan Taiyuan Liu Xingwei Cui Zhenchao Tang Yang Du Meiyun Wang Yusong Lin Jie Tian 2019Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2019,17,4:4
2Short-term inhalation exposure evaluations of airborne antibiotic resistance genes in environments显示文摘Antibiotic resistance is a sword of Damocles that hangs over humans.In regards to airborne antibiotic resistance genes(AARGs),critical knowledge gaps still exist in the identification of hotspots and quantification of exposure levels in different environments.Here,we have studied the profiles of AARGs,mobile genetic elements(MGEs)and bacterial communities in various atmospheric environments by high throughput q PCR and 16S r RNA gene sequencing.We propose a new AARGs exposure dose calculation that uses short-term inhalation(STI).Swine farms and hospitals were high-risk areas where AARGs standardised abundance was more abundant than suburbs and urban areas.Additionally,resistance gene abundance in swine farm worker sputum was higher than that in healthy individuals in other environments.The correlation between AARGs with MGEs and bacteria was strong in suburbs but weak in livestock farms and hospitals.STI exposure analysis revealed that occupational intake of AARGs(via PM10)in swine farms and hospitals were 110 and 29 times higher than in suburbs,were 1.5×10^(4),5.6×10^(4)and 5.1×10^(2)copies,i.e.,61.9%,75.1%and 10.7%of the overall daily inhalation intake,respectively.Our study comprehensively compares environmental differences in AARGs to identify high-risk areas,and forwardly proposes the STI exposure dose of AARGs to guide risk assessment.Zhenchao Zhou Xinyi Shuai Zejun Lin Lingxuan Meng Xiaoliang Ba Mark AHolmes Hong Chen 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,12:0

4High rate and ultralong life flexible all-solid-state zinc ion battery based on electron density modulated NiCo_(2)O_(4) nanosheets显示文摘The development of zinc ion batteries (ZIBs) with large capacity,high rate,and durable cathode material is a crucial and urgent task.Ni Co_(2)O_(4)(NCO) has received ever-growing interest as a potential cathode material for ZIBs,owing to the high theoretical capacity,rich source,cost-effective,and versatile redox nature.However,due to the slow dynamics of the NCO electrodes,its practical application in highperformance systems is severely limited.Herein,we report an electron density modulated NCO nanosheets (N-NCO NSs) with high-kinetics Zn^(2+)-storage capability as an additive-free cathode for flexible all-solid-state (ASS) ZIBs.By virtue of the enhanced electronic conductivity,improved reaction kinetics,and increased active sites,the optimized N-NCO NSs electrode delivers a high capacity of 357.7 m Ah g^(-1)at 1.0 A g^(-1)and a superior rate capacity of 201.4 m Ah g^(-1)at 20 A g^(-1).More importantly,a flexible ASS ZIBs device is manufactured using a solid polymer electrolyte of a poly (vinylidene fluoride hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP) film.The flexible ASS ZIBs device shows superb durability with 80.2%capacity retention after 20,000 cycles and works well in the range of-20–70℃.Furthermore,the flexible ASS ZIBs achieves an impressive energy density as high as 578.1 W h kg^(-1)with a peak power density of 33.6 k W kg^(-1),substantially outperforming those latest ZIBs.This work could provide valuable insights for constructing high-kinetics and high-capability cathodes with long-term stability for flexible ASS ZIBs.Wenda Qiu Yunlei Tian Zhenchao Lin Shuting Lin Zhangqi Geng Kaitao Huang Aihua Lei Fuchun Huang Huajie Feng Fengze Ding Yu Li Xihong Lu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,7:0
