| 1 | Research progress on silicon/carbon composite anode materials for lithium-ion battery显示文摘Silicon(Si) has been considered as one of the most promising anode material for the next generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) with high energy densities, due to its high theoretical capacity, abundant availability and environmental friendliness. However, silicon materials with low intrinsic electric and ionic conductivity suffer from huge volume variation during lithiation/delithiation processes leading to the pulverization of Si and subsequently resulting in severe capacity fading of the electrodes. Coupling of Si with carbon(C) realizes a favorable combination of the two materials properties, such as high lithiation capacity of Si and excellent mechanical and conductive properties of C, making silicon/carbon composite(Si/C) ideal candidates for LIBs anodes. In this review, recent progresses of Si/C materials utilized in LIBs are summarized in terms of structural design principles, material synthesis methods, morphological characteristics and electrochemical performances by highlighting the material structures. The mechanisms behind the performance enhancement are also discussed. Moreover, other factors that affect the performance of Si/C anodes, such as prelithiation, electrolyte additives, and binders, are also discussed. | 2 | A novel image segmentation approach for wood plate surface defect classification through convex optimization显示文摘Detection of wood plate surface defects using image processing is a complicated problem in the forest industry as the image of the wood surface contains different kinds of defects. In order to obtain complete defect images, we used convex optimization(CO) with different weights as a pretreatment method for smoothing and the Otsu segmentation method to obtain the target defect area images. Structural similarity(SSIM) results between original image and defect image were calculated to evaluate the performance of segmentation with different convex optimization weights. The geometric and intensity features of defects were extracted before constructing a classification and regression tree(CART) classifier. The average accuracy of the classifier is 94.1% with four types of defects on Xylosma congestum wood plate surface: pinhole, crack,live knot and dead knot. | 3 | Field experiment of subgrade vibration induced by passing train in a seasonally frozen region of Daqing显示文摘The vibration characteristics and attenuation of the subgrade caused by passing trains in a seasonally frozen region of Daqing, China are investigated. Three fi eld experiments were conducted during different times through the year, in normal, freezing and thawing periods, respectively, and the influence of the season, train speed and train type, is described in this paper. The results show that: (1) the vertical component is the greatest among the three components of the measured vibration near the rail track, and as the distance to the railway track increases, the dominant vibration depends on the season. (2) Compared with the vibration in the normal period, the vertical and longitudinal vibrations increase while the lateral vibration decreases in the freezing period. However, in the thawing period, the vertical and longitudinal vibrations decrease, and the lateral vibration increases. (3) As train speeds increase, the subgrade vibration increases. (4) The vibration induced by a freight train is greater than by a passenger train. | 4 | A Mini Review on Nanocarbon-Based 1D Macroscopic Fibers:Assembly Strategies and Mechanical Properties显示文摘Nanocarbon-based materials, such as carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and graphene have been attached much attention by scientific and industrial community. As two representative nanocarbon materials, one-dimensional CNTs and twodimensional graphene both possess remarkable mechanical properties. In the past years, a large amount of work have been done by using CNTs or graphene as building blocks for constructing novel, macroscopic, mechanically strong fibrous materials. In this review, we summarize the assembly approaches of CNT-based fibers and graphene-based fibers in chronological order, respectively. The mechanical performances of these fibrous materials are compared, and the critical influences on the mechanical properties are discussed. The authors have researched their innate character and inherent relations. The essence of evaluation partialordering set (A, ≤) is the mapping of evaluation object (X, ≤) under fixed condition. The collection and classification of x_i∈X corresponds how to express A_ j ∈A, i.e.,x_i∈Xf(x_ i )=A_ j ∈A, A_ j is the image of x_ i under mapping f. The function relation between evaluation partial-ordering set (A, ≤) and evaluation object (X, ≤) is decided by the space character and the way of collection and classification. The different space character and way of collection and classification will produce the different express method and evaluation result, accordingly the authors give out the mathematical definitions for nominal scaling, ordinal scaling, interval scaling and ratio scaling respectively. | 7 | Field monitoring of railroad embankment vibration responses in seasonally frozen regions显示文摘To investigate the vibration characteristics of a railway subgrade in different seasons, three field experiments were carried out in the seasonally frozen Daqing area of China during spring, summer, and winter. The vibration characteristics and attenuation rates of the subgrade induced by passing trains were investigated, and the influences of the season, train speed, train type, train load, and number of train compartments are described in this paper. The results show that: (1) near the rail track the vibration in the vertical direction was more significant than in the lateral and longitudinal directions, and as the distance from the railway track increased, the acceleration amplitudes and the attenuation rates all decreased in all three directions; (2) the acceleration amplitudes and attenuation rates decreased in the three different study seasons as the distance from the railway track increased, and the attenuation rates in the freezing period were the largest; and (3) the acceleration amplitude induced by a freight train was greater than that by a passenger train, and the subgrade vibration increased with increasing passenger train speeds when the number of train compartments was similar. | 10 | A multiphase sodium vanadium phosphate cathode material for high-rate sodium-ion batteries显示文摘The unsatisfactory rate capability and poor cycling stability at high rate of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) have impeded their practical applications. Herein, a Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/Na_(3)V_(3)(PO_(4))_(4) multiphase cathode materials for high-rate and long cycling SIBs was successfully synthesized by regulation the stoichiometric ratio of raw materials. The combined experiment and simulation results show that the multiphase materials consisted of NASICON structural phase Na3V2(PO4)3 and layered structure phase Na_(3)V_(3)(PO_(4))_(4), possess abundant phase boundaries. Electrochemical experiments demonstrate that the multiphase materials maintain a remarkable reversible capacity of 69.0 mA h g^(-1) even at an ultrahigh current density of 100 C with a high capacity retention of 81.25 % even after 10,000 cycles. | 19 | Rhizosphere organic phosphorus fractions of Simon poplar and Mongolian pine plantations in a semiarid sandy land of northeastern China显示文摘The aim of this study was to investigate the role of rhizosphere organic phosphorus(P) in soil P supply in semiarid forests and the effects of tree species on rihizosphere organic P. We examined organic P fractions in rhizosphere and bulk soils of mono-specific Simon poplar(Populus simonii) and Mongolian pine(Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica) plantations in a semiarid sandy soil of Horqin Sandy Land in Northeast China. Total organic P(TPo) accounted for 76% of total P across the two stands. The concentration of organic P(Po) fractions decreased in the order of Na OH-Po>Res-Po>HCl-Po>Na HCO3-Po in both plantations. The concentration of Na HCO3-Po was 38% and 43% lower in rhizosphere soil than in bulk soil in Simon poplar and Mongolian pine plantations, respectively. In contrast, total P, TPo and Na OH-Po significantly accumulated in rhizosphere soil in Simon poplar plantations, but no change in Mongolian pine plantations. Soil recalcitrant organic P fractions were positively correlated with soil organic carbon. | 20 | Characteristics analysis for cold water patches off the Jiangsu coast in the last 35a显示文摘The daily and monthly-mean characteristics of cold water patches(CWPs) off the Jiangsu coast in 35 a of1982–2016 are examined based on advanced very high resolution radiometer(AVHRR) data. Most of the CWPs are found to occur in the warm and hot months(May–September), with some CWPs in the cool and cold months(October–April). The average radius and intensity of the monthly-mean CWPs are about 81 km and 0.6°C,respectively. The average difference in the sea surface temperature(SST) between the centers of the CWPs and the nearshore is about 2.0°C. The correlation analysis between the CWPs, winds and tides indicates that most of the CWPs occurred during the southerly winds, with some CWPs occurring during the northerly winds.
