| 1 | A high speed 1000 fps CMOS image sensor with low noise global shutter pixels显示文摘A low read noise 8T global shutter pixel for high speed CMOS image sensor is proposed in this paper.The pixel has a pixel level sample-and-hold circuit and an in-pixel amplifier whose gain is larger than one.Using pixel level sample-and-hold circuit,the KTC noise on FD node can be effectively cancelled by correlated double sampling operation.The in-pixel amplifier with a gain larger than one is employed for reducing the pixel level sample-and-hold capacitors thermal noise and their geometric size.A high speed 1000 fps 256×256 CMOS image sensor based on the pixel is implemented in 0.18μm CMOS process.The chip active area is 5 mm×7 mm with a pixel size of 14μm×14μm.The developed sensor achieves a read noise level as low as 14.8e-while attaining a high fill factor of 40%.The full well capacity can contain 30840e-and the resulting signal dynamic range is 66 dB. | ZHOU YangFan CAO ZhongXiang QIN Qi LI QuanLiang SHI Cong WU NanJian | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4: | 8 |
| 2 | Radiotherapy targeting cancer stem cells “awakens” them to induce tumour relapse and metastasis in oral cancer显示文摘Radiotherapy is one of the most common treatments for oral cancer. However, in the clinic, recurrence and metastasis of oral cancer occur after radiotherapy, and the underlying mechanism remains unclear. Cancer stem cells(CSCs), considered the 'seeds'of cancer, have been confirmed to be in a quiescent state in most established tumours, with their innate radioresistance helping them survive more easily when exposed to radiation than differentiated cancer cells. There is increasing evidence that CSCs play an important role in recurrence and metastasis post-radiotherapy in many cancers. However, little is known about how oral CSCs cause tumour recurrence and metastasis post-radiotherapy. In this review article, we will first summarise methods for the identification of oral CSCs and then focus on the characteristics of a CSC subpopulation induced by radiation, hereafter referred to as 'awakened'CSCs, to highlight their response to radiotherapy and potential role in tumour recurrence and metastasis post-radiotherapy as well as potential therapeutics targeting CSCs. | 3 | Localizing root causes of performance anomalies in cloud computing systems by analyzing request trace logs显示文摘It is hard to localize the primary cause of performance anomalies in cloud computing systems because of the complexity of interactions between components.The hidden connections in the huge number of request execution paths in such systems usually contain useful information for diagnosing performance anomalies.We propose an approach to localize anomalous invoked methods and their physical locations by leveraging request trace logs,which involves two steps:(1) firstly,cluster the requests according to their corresponding call sequences,identify anomalous requests with principal component analysis,and then pick out anomalous methods with Mann-Whitney hypothesis test;(2) secondly,compare the behavior similarities of all replicated instances of the anomalous methods with Jensen-Shannon divergence,and select the ones whose behaviors are different from those of others,which will be chosen as the final culprits of performance anomalies.We conduct experiments with four real-world cases to validate our approach in Alibaba Cloud Computing Inc.The results demonstrate that our approach can locate the prime causes of performance anomalies with the low false-positive rate and false-negative rate. | MI HaiBo WANG HuaiMin ZHOU YangFan LYU Michael CAI Hua | 2012 | Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,12: | 4 |
| 4 | A low power global shutter pixel with extended FD voltage swing range for large format high speed CMOS image sensor显示文摘A low power 8T global shutter pixel with extended FD voltage swing range is proposed for large format high speed CMOS image sensor. The pixel has a negative threshold reset transistor, two in-pixel source followers, and a sample-and-hold circuit. The in-pixel first source follower is employed for reducing the pixel average current and maximum transient current. The negative threshold reset transistor is applied to extend the voltage swing of FD. Using pixel level sample-and-hold circuit, the k TC noise on FD node can be effectively nullified by correlated double sampling operation. A high speed 1000 fps 256×256 CMOS image sensor is implemented in 0.18 μm CMOS process. Two 10-bit cyclic ADC arrays are integrated in this prototype sensor chip. The active area of the chip is 10 mm×7 mm with a pixel size of 14 μm×14 μm. The developed sensor achieves an average current of 23 n A per pixel, a maximum transit current per pixel as low as 1113 n A, and a large FD voltage swing of 1.78 V. | 15 | Enhancing hydrogen storage properties of MgH_(2) using FeCoNiCrMn high entropy alloy catalysts显示文摘Herein,we report the successful preparation of the FeCoNiCrMn high entropy alloy(HEA)loaded MgH_(2) and HEA’s effect on the hydrogen storage properties of Mg/MgH_(2).The HEA shows high catalytic activity toward hydrogen dissociation and recombination reaction,and successfully suppressed activation energy of dehydrogenation reaction from 151.9 to 90.2 kJ mol-1.Moreover,part of Co and Ni can react with Mg,and produce Mg_(2) Co/Mg_(2) CoH 5 and Mg_(2) Ni/Mg_(2) NiH_(4) during the hydrogen storage processes,further en-hancing dehydrogenation reaction through the“hydrogen pumping”mechanism.Asa result,the MgH_(2)-5 wt%HEA composite can release 5.6 wt%of H_(2) at 280℃ within 10 min,and absorb 5.5 wt%H_(2) within 0.5 min at 150℃.The loaded HEA shows robustness against particle aggregation,leading to stable re-versible hydrogen storage processes at least 50 times.These findings show the synergistic effects of HEA on Mg-based hydrogen storage materials,providing an additional degree of freedom for catalyst design. | Haiyi Wan Xiu Yang Shiming Zhou Lei Ran Yangfan Lu Yu’an Chen Jingfeng Wang Fusheng Pan | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,18: | 0 |
| 16 | Strain engineering of anisotropic light-matter interactions in onedimensional P-P chain of SiP_(2)显示文摘Strain engineering can serve as a powerful technique for modulating the exotic properties arising from the atomic structure of materials.Examples have been demonstrated that one-dimensional(1D)structure can serve as a great platform for modulating electronic band structure and phonon dispersion via strain control.Particularly,in a van der Waals material silicon diphosphide(SiP_(2)),quasi-1D zigzag phosphorus–phosphorus(P–P)chains are embedded inside the crystal structure,and can show unique phonon vibration modes and realize quasi-1D excitons.Manipulating those optical properties by the atom displacements via strain engineering is of great interest in understanding underlying mechanism of such P–P chains,however,which remains elusive.Herein,we demonstrate the strain engineering of Raman and photoluminescence(PL)spectra in quasi-1D P–P chains and resulting in anisotropic manipulation in SiP_(2).We find that the phonon frequencies of SiP_(2)in Raman spectra linearly evolve with a uniaxial strain along/perpendicular to the quasi-1D P–P chain directions.Interestingly,by applying tensile strain along the P–P chains,the band gap energy of strained SiP_(2)can significantly decrease with a tunable value of~55 meV.Based on arsenic(As)element doping into SiP_(2),the strain-induced redshifts of phonon frequencies decrease,indicating the stiffening of the phonon vibration with the increased arsenic doping level.Such results provide an opportunity for strain engineering of the light–matter interactions in the quasi-1D P–P chains of SiP_(2)crystal for potential optical applications. | Fanghua Cheng Junwei Huang Feng Qin Ling Zhou Xueting Dai Xiangyu Bi Caorong Zhang Zeya Li Ming Tang Caiyu Qiu Yangfan Lu Huiyang Gou Hongtao Yuan | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 0 |
| 17 | A Synthesis of Geophysical Data in Southeastern North China Craton:Implications for the Formation of the Arcuate Xuhuai Thrust Belt显示文摘The Xuhuai fold thrust belt(XHTB)is a curved structure in the southeastern margin of the North China Craton(NCC)that has attracted great attentions due to its tectonic and petrological characteristics.However,few geophysical studies have focused on the deep structure of this belt.In this study,we carry out a systematic demonstration of the main geophysical features that characterize the XHTB and surrounding areas.The results reveal small negative gravity and magnetic anomalies,thin crust and lithosphere,lower shear velocity and shallower earthquake epicenters relative to other areas of the NCC,collectively indicating a lithospheric-scale rheological anomaly at this belt.The magnetic alignments show a trend similar to that of geological units in southeastern NCC and adjacent areas,although they differ from the SKS-splitting fast polarization directions,except in the Qinling-Dabie orogen where a vertical coherent deformation of the crust and mantle may be involved there.Based on the geophysical data,we propose a detachment-controlled model,which was caused by the different detachment depth/strength,for the formation of XHTB to explain its arcuate shape as well as the magnetic alignments,thus providing new insight into the deep processes of southeastern NCC. | Yangfan Deng Yun Chen Pengfei Li Zhou Zhang JoséBadal | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,3: | 0 |

| 20 | Optically Controlled Coercive Field of MAPbl_(3)/P(VDF-TrFE)Ferroelectric Composite Films显示文摘Ferroelectric polymers,such as poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene)[P(VDF-TrFE)or PVTF]have attracted growing interest in developing flexible devices because of their excellent ferroelectricity and piezoelectricity.High coercive field(E c)inherent to PVTF for switching its polarization,however,is not beneficial for practical memory or sensor device application.Different strategies,including irradiation and interface control,have been thus developed to reduce E c.Despite many efforts,a facile approach to tailoring intrinsic E_(c) of PVTF has not been documented.In this work,an optically controlled E_(c) was reported,which is achieved for the first time by introducing photosensitive MAPbI3 nanocrystals into PVTF matrix.When exposed to the irradiation of 532 nm laser light,a decreased E_(c) of the composites can be achieved reversibly by increasing the light density.The decreased level of E_(c) increases as the MAPbI3 content enhanced,and a 10.7%reduction of E_(c) can be achieved in 15%(mass fraction)MAPbI3/PVTF samples.These results could be attributed to loading an internal stress on PVTF,which was generated by the photostriction of MAPbI3 nanocrystals.This explanation was further supported by in-situ XRD results under irradiation of 532 nm laser light.Our findings may offer the opportunity to optically modulate the ferroelectric properties of PVTF composites for optimized device performances. | SU Yangfan SUN Yiran ZHOU Dikui TANG Xiaoming HAN Gaorong REN Zhaohui | 2023 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,2: | 0 |
