| 1 | Optical property and spectroscopy studies on the selected lubricating oil in the terahertz range显示文摘The optical property and spectroscopy of selected kinds of lubricating oil are studied based on the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) in the spectral range of 0.3-1.6 THz. The samples are classified by their characteristics via the near-infrared spectrum. The experimental results reveal that lubricating oil is more sensitive in the range of terahertz than in the near-infrared,and the specific kinds of lubricating oil can be identified according to their different spectral features in the terahertz range. | 5 | Mullite Oxidation Resistant Coating for SiC-coated Carbon/Carbon Composites by Supersonic Plasma Spraying显示文摘To improve the oxidation resistance of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites, mullite coating was prepared on the surface of SiC-coated C/C composites by supersonic plasma spraying. Phases and microstructures of mullite coating were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The coating primarily consists of a single phase of mullite (3Al2O3-2SiO2). The SEM results show that mullite coating was continuous and well bonded with the SiC inner layer without penetrating crack. Mullite coating exhibited good oxidation resistance. | 6 | SiC-Si-ZrSiO_4 Multiphase Oxidation Protective Coating for Carbon/Carbon Composites显示文摘In order to improve the anti-oxidation property of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites,a novel SiC-Si-ZrSiO_4 multiphase oxidation protective coating was produced on the surface of C/SiC coated carbon/carbon compos- ites by a pack cementation technique.The phase composition and microstructure of the as-prepared coatings were characterized by XRD (X-ray diffraction),SEM (scanning electron microscopy) and EDS (energy dis- persive spectroscopy).Oxidation behavior of the multiphase coated C/C composites was also investigated. | 14 | SiC/Si-W-Mo coating for protection of C/C composites at 1873 K显示文摘In order to prevent carbon/carbon composites from oxidation at 1873 K, an efficient oxidation protective SiC/Si-W-Mo coating was prepared by a two-step pack cementation technique. The microstructures and the phase composition of the as-received multi-coating were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). It is seen that the compact multi-coating is composed of α-SiC, Si, and (WxMo1-x)Si2. Oxidation test shows that, after oxidation at 1873 K in air for 102 h and thermal cycling between 1873 K and room temperature for 10 times, the weight loss of the SiC/Si-W-Mo coated C/C composites is only 0.26%. | 15 | Carrier dynamics and terahertz photoconductivity of doped silicon measured by femtosecond pump-terahertz probe spectroscopy显示文摘The carrier dynamics and terahertz photoconductivity in the n-type silicon (n-Si) as well as in the p-type Silicon (p-Si) have been investigated by using femtosecond pump-terahertz probe technique. The measurements show that the relative change of terahertz transmission of p-Si at low pump power is slightly smaller than that of n-Si,due to the lower carrier density induced by the recombination of original holes in the p-type material and the photogenerated electrons. At high pump power,the bigger change of terahertz transmission of p-Si originates from the greater mobility of the carriers compared to n-Si. The transient photoconductivities are calculated and fit well with the Drude-Smith model,showing that the mobility of the photogenerated carriers decreases with the increasing pump power. | 16 | Design of terahertz band-stop filter based on a metallic resonator on high-resistivity silicon wafer显示文摘In this paper, we present a terahertz (THz) band-stop filter realized by fabricating a metallic T-shaped resonator pattern on the high-resistivity silicon wafer. The filter exhibits two typical band-stop response characteristics depending on the incident direction of electric field with respect to the T-shaped resonator. When the long and the short arms of the T-shaped resonator were electrically polarized by changing the incident THz wave transmission directions, the corresponding central frequencies of the band-stop filter were found to be 0.436 THz at 42dB and 0.610 THz at 28 dB, respectively. Using three-dimensional (3D) finite-integral time-domain simulations, the band-stop filter was designed, which can operate in the wavelength between 0.2 and 0.8 THz. Experimental verification was also performed using a free space THz time-domain spectroscopy system. The band-stop response characteristics are in good agreement with the simulation results. | 20 | Rapid differentiation of simple saccharides based on cluster ions by paper spray tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘Simple saccharides have a variety of biological functions,but their structural diversity and inherent structural features pose a major challenge for rapid analysis.In this work,we developed a derivative-free and ion mobility-free method for the rapid analysis of monosaccharides and disaccharides using paper spray tandem mass spectrometry.Trimeric cluster ions consisting of saccharide analytes,ligands and transition metal ions are used as precursor ions.We defined the R-value as the ratio of the intensity of the product ion that loses one molecule of ligand over the intensity of the product ion that loses one molecule of saccharide via collision induced dissociation(CID).The species and conformation of simple saccharides can be easily differentiated by calculating this R-value.With the capability of directly analyzing clinical samples using paper spray ionization,our method can be used to rapidly quantify the molar ratio of galactose to glucose in dried plasma samples to aid in the diagnosis of galactosemia.The analytical strategy provided herein has good potential to be applied to a wide range of saccharide analysis applications in the future. | Wangmin Hu Tianyi Li Yulei Yang Shanshan Jia Mei Zhang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,11: | 1 |
