1Effect of heat treatment on the microstructure of a Ni–Fe based superalloy for advanced ultra-supercritical power plant applications显示文摘The effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and microhardness of a Ni–Fe based superalloy for700 °C advanced ultra-supercritical coalfi red power plants was investigated. Results showed that the main phases in the alloy were γ, γ′, MC and M_23C_6, and no harmful phase was observed in the alloy.M_23C_6-type carbides discretely distributed nearby grain boundaries as the alloy was aged at above840 °C. The microhardness decreased with increasing aging temperature. The coarsening of γ′ led to the increment of microhardness at 780 °C and 810 °C for a short aging time, and a signi fi cant decrease in microhardness after aging at 840 °C. The aging temperature had more signi fi cant role on the microstructure than holding time. 2Microstructural evolution of a Ni-Co based superalloy during hot compression atγ'sub-/super-solvus temperatures显示文摘The effects of strain rate on the microstructural evolution and deformation mechanism of a Ni-Co based superalloy were investigated by isothermal compression tests performed atγ'sub-solvus(1090℃)andγ'super-solvus temperatures(1150℃)with a wide strain rate range from 0.001 to 10 s^(-1)under a true strain of 0.693.Electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD),electron channeling contrast imaging(ECCI)and transmission electron microscope(TEM)techniques were used to characterize the microstructures.The results revealed that the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)volume fraction increased and stored energy of theγ'matrix grains decreased with increasing the strain rate duringγ'sub-solvus temperature deformation,while the opposite phenomena were observed duringγ'super-solvus temperature deformation.The comprehensive effect of initial grain size,primaryγ'phase,twins and adiabatic temperature rise led to these results.The primaryγ'particles undergone the deformation behavior within itself and obviously accelerated the DRX of the matrix.The microstructural evolution proved that discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)was the dominant mechanism during the hot deformation carried out at bothγ'sub-solvus andγ'super-solvus temperatures.Primaryγ'particles obviously accelerated the nucleation step and retarded the growth step of DDRX duringγ'sub-solvus temperature deformation.Besides,the acceleration effect of primaryγ'particles on DDRX increased with the increase of strain rate.Continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)was confirmed to be an assistant mechanism duringγ'super-solvus temperature deformation and was promoted with the increase of strain rate.Peng Liu Rui Zhang Yong Yuan Chuanyong Cui Faguang Liang Xi Liu Yuefeng Gu Yizhou Zhou Xiaofeng Sun 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,18:2

7κ-Opioid receptor activation attenuates osteoarthritis synovitis by regulating macrophage polarization through the NF-κB pathway显示文摘Osteoarthritis(OA)is a prevalent and chronic joint disease that affects the aging population,causing pain and disability.Macrophages in synovium are important mediators of synovial inflammatory activity and pathological joint pain.Previous studies have demonstrated the significant involvement of k-opioid receptor(KOR)in the reg-ulation of pain and inflammation.Our study reveals a significant reduction in synovial KOR expression among patients and mice with OA.Here,we find that KOR activation effectively inhibits the expressions of the LPS-induced-inflammatory cytokines TNF-αand IL-6 by inhibiting macrophage M1 phenotype.Mechanistically,KOR activation effectively suppresses the proinflammatory factor secretion of macrophages by inhibiting the translocation of NF-kB into the nucleus.Our animal experiments reveal that activation of KOR effectively alleviates knee pain and prevents synovitis progression in OA mice.Consistently,KOR administration suppresses the expressions of M1 macrophage markers and the NF-kB pathway in the synovium of the knee.Collectively,our study suggests that targeting KOR may be a viable strategy for treating OA by inhibiting synovitis and improving joint pain in affected patients.Yi Shi Huaqiang Tao Xueyan Li Liyuan Zhang Chunhui Li Wen Sun Miao Chu Kai Chen Pengfei Zhu Qiang Wang Chengyong Gu Liangliang Wang Xing Yang Yuefeng Hao 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,1:0
8Adaptability Analysis of Fluctuating Traffic for IP Switching and Optical Switching显示文摘The technological development of smart devices and Internet of Things(IoT)has brought ever-larger bandwidth and fluctuating traffic to existing networks.The analy⁃sis of network capital expenditure(CAPEX)is extremely important and plays a fundamen⁃tal role in further network optimizing.In this paper,an adaptability analysis is raised for IP switching and optical transport network(OTN)switching in CAPEX when the service bandwidth is fluctuating violently.This paper establishes a multi-layer network architec⁃ture through Clos network model and discusses impacts of maximum allowable blocking rate and service bandwidth standard deviation on CAPEX of IP network and OTN network to find CAPEX demarcation point in different situations.As simulation results show,when the bandwidth deviation mean rate is 0.3 and the maximum allowable blocking rate is 0.01,the hardware cost of OTN switching will exceed IP switching as the average band⁃width is greater than 6100 Mbit/s.When the service bandwidth fluctuation is severe,the hardware cost of OTN switching will increase and exceed IP switching as the single port rate is allowed in optical switching.The increasing of maximum allowable blocking rate can decrease hardware cost of OTN switching.Finally,it is found that Flex Ethernet(FlexE)can be used to decrease CAPEX of OTN switching greatly at this time.LIAN Meng GU Rentao JI Yuefeng WANG Dajiang LI Hongbiao 2021ZTE Communications2021,19,1:0
9Dual-layer efficiency enhancement for future passive optical network显示文摘Ever-increasing demands on bandwidth compel us to improve the bandwidth utilization of access networks. It is more important to enhance the efficiency of passive optical networks(PON) than other access technologies, as they are the primary solutions to various access scenarios. To satisfy the demands of improved bandwidth efficiency, we propose a dual-layer(data link layer and network layer) efficiency enhancement scheme for future PON system. Under this architecture, a data-link-layer flexible coding scheme is introduced to extend the downstream link throughput, and a network-layer centralized active queue management(AQM) scheme is introduced to increase bandwidth efficiency. Both of these technologies are designed to suit the future centralized cooperative control mode. The results of an experimental demonstration of the network coding PON scheme reveal the efficiency of the proposed architecture. The results of simulations show that the centralized AQM scheme has a positive influence on queuing delay and jitter. 10Parallel Optical Interconnect Technology: Combination of Higher Performance and Lower Energy Consumption显示文摘This paper analyzes the physical potential, computing performance benefi t and power consumption of optical interconnects. Compared with electrical interconnections, optical ones show undoubted advantages based on physical factor analysis. At the same time, since the recent developments drive us to think about whether these optical interconnect technologies with higher bandwidth but higher cost are worthy to be deployed, the computing performance comparison is performed. To meet the increasing demand of large-scale parallel or multi-processor computing tasks, an analytic method to evaluate parallel computing performance ofinterconnect systems is proposed in this paper. Both bandwidth-limit model and full-bandwidth model are under our investigation. Speedup and effi ciency are selected to represent the parallel performance of an interconnect system. Deploying the proposed models, we depict the performance gap between the optical and electrically interconnected systems. Another investigation on power consumption of commercial products showed that if the parallel interconnections are deployed, the unit power consumption will be reduced. Therefore, from the analysis of computing influence and power dissipation, we found that parallel optical interconnect is valuable combination of high performance and low energy consumption. 11Artificial intelligence-driven autonomous optical networks: 3S architecture and key technologies显示文摘In the optical networks,the dynamicity,the complexity and the heterogeneity have dramatically increased owing to the deployment of advanced coherent techniques,and the optical cross-connect technologies and diverse network infrastructures pose great challenges in the optical network management and maintenance for the network operators.In this review,we propose a'3 S'architecture for AI-driven autonomous optical network,which can aid the optical networks operated in'self-aware'of network status,'self-adaptive'of network control,and'self-managed'of network operations.To support these functions,a number of artificial intelligence(AI)-driven techniques have been investigated to improve the flexibility and the reliability from the device aspect to network aspect.Adaptative erbium-doped fiber amplifier(EDFA)controlling is an example for the device aspect,which provides a power self-adaptive capability according to the network condition.From the link aspect,adaptive fiber nonlinearity compensation,optical monitoring performance and quality of transmission estimation are developed to monitor and alleviate the link-dependent signal impairments in an automatic way.From the network aspect,traffic prediction and network state analysis methods provide the self-awareness,while automatic resource allocation and network fault management powered by AI enhance the self-adaptiveness and self-management capabilities.Benefit from the sufficient network management data,powerful data-mining capability and matured computation units,these AI techniques have great potentials to provide autonomous features for optical networks,including the network resource scheduling and the network customization.Yuefeng JI Rentao GU Zeyuan YANG Jin LI Hui LI Min ZHANG 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,6:0
12Dynamic Strain Aging in a Newly Developed Ni-Co-Base Superalloy with Low Stacking Fault Energy显示文摘Characteristics of dynamic strain aging(DSA) in a Nie Co-base superalloy were studied by tensile tests at temperatures ranging from 250℃ to 550℃ and strain rates ranging from 3×10-5 to 8×10-4 s-1.Serrated flow in the tensile stress-strain curves was observed in the temperature range from 300℃ to 500℃.Normal DSA behavior was found at temperatures ranging from 300℃ to 350℃,while inverse DSA behavior was observed at temperatures ranging from 400℃ to 500℃.The yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,elongation,work hardening index,and fracture features were not affected by temperature and strain rates in DSA regime.Negative strain-rate sensitivity of flow stress was observed in DSA regime.The analysis suggests that the ordering of the substitutional solutes around some defects like mobile dislocations and stacking faults due to the thermal activated process may cause the serrations on the tensile curves.Chenggang Tian Chuanyong Cui Ling Xu Yuefeng Gu Xiaofeng Sun 2013Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,9:0
13Aging process design based on the morphological evolution ofγprecipitates in a 4th generation nickel-based single crystal superalloy显示文摘In order to meet the design requirements of the aging treatment process of a 4th generation nickel-based single crystal superalloy(Ni-SX)developed independently,the effects of aging temperatures and aging times on the precipitation and morphological evolution ofγprecipitates are studied.The morphological evolution behavior ofγprecipitates during the aging process is summarized subsequently and the coarsening behavior ofγprecipitates is discussed by comparing with the Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner model(LSW)and the trans-interface diffusion-controlled model(TIDC).It is demonstrated that primary aging temperature and secondary aging time dominate the size and squareness ofγprecipitates respectively,a narrow primary aging temperature range and a suitable secondary aging time are allowed to obtain the optimized morphology ofγprecipitates.The optimal aging process of the Ni-SX investigated in the present work is obtained for 1100-1120°C/4 h and 870°C/16 h,confirmed by the corresponding creep tests.The coarsening growth ofγprecipitates in short-term aging also conforms to the LSW model well.Besides,the aging process design rules of various Ni-SXs of different generations are also summarized.Jiachen Xu Xinbao Zhao Weiqi Li Hao Liu Quanzhao Yue Huanchang Duan Yuefeng Gu Ze Zhang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,16:0
