| 1 | Spatial patterns, driving forces, and urbanization effects of China's internal migration: County-level analysis based on the 2000 and 2010 censuses显示文摘China has witnessed unprecedented urbanization over the past decades.The rapid expansion of urban population has been dominantly contributed by the floating population from rural areas,of which the spatiotemporal patterns,driving forces,and multidimensional effects are scrutinized and evaluated in this study by using the latest national censuses conducted in 2000 and 2010.Analysis based on the county-level data comes to conclusions as follows.The spatial pattern of floating population has remained stable over the first decade of the new century.The top 1%cities with the largest floating population received 45.5% of all migrants in China.As the rapid development of mega-city regions,the coastal concentration areas of floating population tended to geographically united as a whole,whereas the spatial distribution of migrants within each region varied significantly.The migrant concentration area in the Yangtze River Delta was the largest and its expansion was also the most salient.However,the floating population has growingly moved into provincial capitals and other big cities in the inland regions and its gravity center has moved northward for around 110 km during the study period.The spatial pattern of floating population has been formed jointly by the state and market forces in transitional China and the impacts of state forces have been surpassed by those of market forces in the country as a whole.The attractiveness of coastal cities and counties to the floating population comes mainly from the nonagricultural employment opportunities and public services,reflecting that long-distance and long-term migrants have moved coastward not only to gain employment but also to enjoy city life.By contrast,in the central and western regions,places with a higher economic development level and at a higher administrative level are more attractive to floating populations,demonstrating that the state remains to play an important role in allocating economic resources and promoting regional development in inland China.As the main body of new urban residents,the floating population has contributed substantially to the elevation of the urbanization levels of migrant-sending and-receiving places,by 20.0% nd 49.5% respectively.Compared with extensively investigated interprovincial migrants,intra-provincial migrants have higher intention and ability to permanently live in cities and thus might become the main force of China's urbanization in the coming decades.The internal migration has also reshaped China's urban system in terms of its hierarchical organization and spatial structure. | LIU Tao QI Yuanjing CAO Guangzhong LIU Hui | 2015 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2015,25,2: | 21 |
| 2 | Enhancing photocatalytic performance by constructing ultrafine TiO2 nanorods/g-C3N4 nanosheets heterojunction for water treatment显示文摘Photocatalysis is considered to be a clean, green and efficient method to purify water. In this report, we first developed a highly efficient ultrafine TiO_2 nanorods/g-C3 N4 nanosheets(TiO_2 NR/CN NS) composites via a simple hydrothermal method. Tiny TiO_2 nanorods(diameter:~1.5 nm and length:~8.3 nm) were first loaded in situ on the CN NS by adding graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3 N4) to the reaction solution.The TiO_2 NR/CN NS composites present high charge separation efficiency and broader light absorbance than P25 TiO_2. Furthermore, we illustrate that the Ti0_2 NR/CN NS catalyst possesses high performance for the photocatalytic degradation of the common and stubborn pollutants in water, such as the rhodamine B(RhB) dye and phenol. Under visible light(λ> 420 nm) irradiation, the apparent rate of the TiO_2 NR/CN NR is 172 and 41 times higher than that of the P25 TiO_2 and TiO_2 NR, respectively.Additionally, we speculated that the heterojunction formed between TiO_2 NR and CN NS, which is the basis for the experiments we have designed and the corresponding results. | 3 | China's economic development stage and its spatiotemporal evolution: A prefectural-level analysis显示文摘As important mechanisms of regional strategy and policy,prefecture-level regions have played an increasingly significant role in the development of China's economy.However,little research has grasped the essence of the economic development stage and the spatio-temporal evolution process at the prefecture level;this may lead to biased policies and their ineffective implementations.Based on Chenery's economic development theory,this paper identifies China's economic development stages at both national and prefectural levels.Both the Global Moran I index and the Getis-Ord Gi* index are employed to investigate the spatio-temporal evolution of China's economic development from 1990 to 2010.Major conclusions can be drawn as follows.(1) China's economic development is generally in the state of agglomeration.It entered the Primary Production Stage in 1990,and the Middle Industrialized Stage in 2010,with a 'balanced-unbalanced-gradually rebalanced' pattern in the process.(2) China's rapid economic growth experienced a spatial shift from the coastal areas to the the inland areas.Most advanced cities in mid-western China can be roughly categorized into regional hub cities and resource-dependent cities.(3) Hot spots in China's economy moved northward and westward.The interactions between cities and prefectures became weaker in Eastern China,while cities and prefectures in Central and Western China were still at the stage of individual development,with limited effect on the surrounding cities.(4) While the overall growth rate of China's economy has gradually slowed down during the past two decades,the growth rate of cities and prefectures in Central and Western China was much faster than those in coastal areas.(5) Areas rich in resources,such as Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia,have become the new hot spots of economic growth in recent years.For these regions,however,more attention needs to be paid to their unbalanced industrial structures and the lagging social development against the backdrop of the rapid economic growth,driven predominantly by the exploitation of resources. | QI Yuanjing YANG Yu JIN Fengjun | 2013 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2013,23,2: | 15 |

| 5 | A highly sensitive luminescent metal-organic framework thermometer for physiological temperature sensing显示文摘Thermal sensing and imaging in the physiological temperature range are of great importance for studying physiological processes and treating diseases. Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) exhibit great promise for developing luminescent thermometers due to their remarkable structural diversities and tunable luminescence properties. Here, we synthesized a series of luminescent mixed-lanthanide MOFs,Eu_xTb_(1-x)BPT(x = 0.019, 0.058, 0.106; H3 BPT = biphenyl-3,4',5-tricarboxylate acid) and adopted powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) to characterize the resulting products. The temperature-dependent photoluminescence emission spectra were recorded to investigate their potential applications in physiological temperature readout. It is found that the intensity ratio of Tb^(3+) to Eu^(3+) is linearly correlated with temperature and the relative sensitivity is higher than 1.5%/℃ over the entire physiological temperature range. | 6 | Dual-band simultaneous lasing in MOFs single crystals with Fabry-Perot microcavities显示文摘Multi-band microlasers based on single microcrystalline materials with Fabry-Perot(F-P) cavities are critically and technologically essential. Here, we demonstrate simultaneous dual-band lasing output(615 and 685 nm) in metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) and organic dyes hybrid single crystals, which support F-P resonances. Through a two-step assembly strategy, two different types of cationic pyridinium hemicyanine dye molecules can be encapsulated into the channel pores of anionic bioMOF-1-2 Me successfully. | 7 | First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. | 9 | First results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from CDEX-1 experiment显示文摘We report the first results on ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay from stage one of the China dark-matter experiment(CDEX).A p-type point-contact high-purity germanium detector with a mass of 994 g has been installed to detect neutrinoless double beta decay events, as well as to directly detect dark matter particles. An exposure of 304 kg d has been analyzed over a wide spectral band from 500 keV to 3 MeV. The average event rate obtained was about 0.012 counts per keV per kg per day over the 2.039 MeV energy range. The half-life of ^(76)Ge neutrinoless double beta decay derived based on this result is T^(0ν)1/2>6.4×10^(22) yr(90% C.L.). | 15 | A Eu/Gd-mixed metal-organic framework for ultrasensitive physiological temperature sensing显示文摘A series of Eu/Gd-mixed metal-organic frameworks Eu_xGd_(1-x_NDC(x = 0.0005, 0.001, 0.003, 0.01;H2 NDC = 1,4-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid) utilizing back energy transfer have been developed for physiological temperature sensing. The suitable high triplet level of H_2NDC allows an efficient back energy transfer from Eu^(3+)ions to ligands. The back energy transfer efficiency is further enhanced by the Eu^(3+)/Gd(3+)-mixed strategy. As a consequence, the emission of Eu3+dramatically weakens when temperature arises. | 16 | Controllable broadband multicolour single-mode polarized laser in a dye-assembled homoepitaxial MOF microcrystal显示文摘Multicolour single-mode polarized microlasers with visible to near-infrared output have very important applications in photonic integration and multimodal biochemical sensing/imaging but are very difficult to realize.Here,we demonstrate a single crystal with multiple segments based on the host-guest metal-organic framework ZJU-68 hierarchically hybridized with different dye molecules generating controllable single-mode green,red,and nearinfrared lasing,with the lasing mode mechanism revealed by computational simulation.The segmented and oriented assembly of different dye molecules within the ZJU-68 microcrystal causes it to act as a shortened resonator,enabling us to achieve dynamically controllable multicolour single-mode lasing with a low three-colour-lasing threshold of ~1.72 mJ/cm^(2)(approximately seven times lower than that of state-of-the-art designed heterostructure alloys,as reported by Fan F et al.(Nat.Nanotechnol.10:796-803,2015)considering the single pulse energy density)and degree of polarization>99.9%.Furthermore,the resulting three-colour single-mode lasing possesses the largest wavelength coverage of ~186 nm(ranging from ~534 to ~720 nm)ever reported.These findings may open a new route to the exploitation of multicolour single-mode micro/nanolasers constructed by MOF engineering for photonic and biochemical applications. | Huajun He Yuanjing Cui Hongjun Li Kai Shao Banglin Chen Guodong Qian | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 2 |
| 17 | Hydrothermal treatment of metallic-monolith catalyst support with self-growing porous anodic-alumina film显示文摘Metallic-monolith catalyst support with self-growing porous anodic alumina(PAA)film was prepared by anodizing Al plate.The effect of hydrothermal treatment(HTT)on the crystalline state and textural properties of PAA film was investigated by XRD,BET,SEM and TG.The HTT treatment above 50°C and the subsequent calcination above 300°C could convert the amorphous skeleton alumina intoγ-alumina and increase the specific surface area(SBET).However,SEM images showed the HTT modification was a non-uniform process along the thickness of PAA film.The promotion effect of HTT on SBETwas non-linear,and the slope of SBETgradually decreased with the HTT temperature or time increased.The limited HTT effect should be attributed to a changed pore structure caused by an unfavorable pore sealing limitation.Pore widening treatment(PWT)before HTT could break the pore sealing limitation,because of the reduced internal diffusion resistance of hydrothermal reaction.The synergistic combination of PWT and HTT developed a PAA support with a large SBETcomparable to commercialγ-alumina.In the catalytic combustion of toluene,the Pt-based catalyst prepared by using the PWT and HTT comodified PAA support gave higher Pt dispersion and more favorable catalytic activity than that treated by HTT alone.The presence of a bimodal pore structure was suggested to be a decisive reason. | Chuanqi Zhang Yuanjing Pu Feng Wang Hecheng Ren Hua Ma Yu Guo | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5: | 2 |

The results indicate that the photocatalytic degradation process of Rhodamine B does not comply with the first-order reaction kinetic process. | 20 | Roles of furfural during the thermal treatment of bio-oil at low temperatures显示文摘The reactive O-containing species in bio-oil could induce the polymerization of bio-oil during its thermal treatment, which affects the relevant utilization of bio-oil significantly. Furans, as the highly reactive Ocontaining species in bio-oil, play important roles during the thermal treatment of bio-oil. In this study,furfural was chosen as the representative of the furans in bio-oil to investigate its roles during the thermal treatment of bio-oil. The raw bio-oil with and without the addition of extra furfural(10 wt% of bio-oil) and pure furfural were pyrolyzed in a fixed-bed reactor at 200–500 ℃. The results show that the interactions among furfural and bio-oil components can take place prior to the evaporation of furfural(<140 ℃) to form the intermediates, then these intermediates could be further polymerized to form large molecular compounds, and coke can be formed via the interactions at temperatures ≥ 300 ℃. At temperatures ≤ 300 ℃, furfural mainly interacts with anhydrosugars. As the temperature further increases, the aromatics are involved in the interactions to form coke. The increased percentage of the coke formed via the interactions is in a linear relation with the conversion of furfural during the pyrolysis at 300–500 ℃(no coke formed at 200 ℃).
