| 1 | Effects of Honghua preserved amniotic membrane on scar healing in experimental glaucoma surgery显示文摘AIM:To investigate the efficacy and safety of Honghua preserved amniotic membrane(AM)for preventing scar formation of the filtering bleb in a rabbit model of glaucoma trabeculectomy surgery.METHODS:Totally 36 rabbits(36 eyes)were randomly divided into 3 groups:the experimental group(ocular trabeculectomy in combination with Honghua preserved AM transplantation),the control group(ocular trabeculectomy surgery in combination with AM implantation),and the blank group(single trabeculectomy).Clinical observations[including intraocular pressure(IOP),filtering blebs and complications],MassonTrichrome staining,real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(real-time PCR),Western blot were performed on different time points(D1,D7,D14,D21 and D56)after the surgery.RESULTS:After operated for 14d,there were statistically significant differences in the filtering blebs compared to the situation before operation(P<0.05),whereas no statistically difference on that among three groups(P>0.05).After 21d,the IOP of experimental group was lowest(P<0.05).There was significant difference between control group and blank group(P<0.05).On postoperative D14,the mean number of fibroblasts in the experimental group was significantlylower(40.6±10.2)compared to those in the control group(54.4±10.8)and blank group(68.2±11.6)(P<0.05,respectively).The mean numbers of the macrophage in the experimental and control groups were respcitively significantly lower versus the blank group(P<0.05,P<0.05,respectively).Compared to that in blank group,the level of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β1)expression in sclera and conjunctival areas was reduced in the experimental and control groups on protein and mRNA level(P<0.05),but not significant difference between these two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:The trabeculectory surgery with Honghua preserved AM can control IOP,sustain the functional filtration bleb,inhibit the proliferation of fibroblasts and open the filtrating pathway on the rabbit glaucoma models. | Yi Shao Yao Yu Qiu-Ping Liu Jing-Ming Li Fei Dong Xin Huang Chong-Gang Pei Ping Tu Hen-Hui Li Gui-Ping Gao | 2014 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2014,7,2: | 16 |

| 7 | Effect of BaNH,CaNH,Mg3N2 on the activity of Co in NH3 decomposition catalysis显示文摘Development of active and non-noble metal-based catalyst for H2 production via NH3 decomposition is crucial for the implementation of NH3 as a H2 carrier.Co-based catalysts have received increasing attention because of its high intrinsic activity and moderate cost.In this work,we examined the effect of BaNH,CaNH and Mg3 N2 on the catalytic activity of Co in the NH3 decomposition reaction.The H2 formation rate ranks the order as Co-BaNH>Co-CaNH>Co-Mg3 N2≈Co/CNTs within a reaction temperature range of 300-550℃.It is worth pointing out that the H2 formation rate of Co-BaNH at 500℃reaches20 mmolH2 gcat-1 min-1,which is comparable to those of the active Ru/Al2 O3(ca.17 mmolH2 gcat-1 min1)and Ru/AC(21 mmolH2 gcat-1 min-1)catalysts under the similar reaction conditions.In-depth research shows that Co-BaNH exhibits an obviously higher intrinsic activity and much lower Ea(46.2 kJ mol-1)than other Co-based catalysts,suggesting that BaNH may play a different role from CaNH,Mg3 N2 and CNTs during the catalytic process.Combined results of XRD,Ar-TPD and XAS show that a[Co-N-Ba]-like intermediate species is likely formed at the interface of Co metal and BaNH,which may lead to a more energy-efficient reaction pathway than that of neat Co metal for NH3 decomposition. | Pei Yu Han Wu Jianping Guo Peikun Wang Fei Chang Wenbo Gao Weijin Zhang Lin Liu Ping Chen | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7: | 3 |

| 13 | Integration of the metabolome and transcriptome reveals the metabolites and genes related to nutritional and medicinal value in Coriandrum sativum显示文摘Coriandrum sativum(Coriander) or Chinese parsley is a culinary herb with multiple medicinal effects, which is widely used in cooking and traditional medicine. It is enriched with essential oils and anti-oxidant compounds with unknown significance. To explore the untapped reservoir of Coriander, we studied the transcriptome and metabolic profiles from three developmental stages. Here, we identified 10 tyrosine metabolic pathway-related genes(TMPRGs), six porphyrins and chlorophyll metabolic pathway-related genes(PCMPRGs), and five Vitamin E metabolic pathway-related genes(VEMPRGs). These genes were associated with the early development of Coriander. Our analysis suggests that these pathways are involved in the production of critical phenolic metabolites. Furthermore, we constructed the interaction network between these pathway-related genes and transcription factors(TFs), which supported the regulatory pathways for phenolic metabolites. Interestingly, we identified several nutritional or medicinally relevant metabolites, including 59 phenols, two polyamines, 12 alkaloids, and one terpenoid. The higher concentrations of metabolites were from caffeic acid, agmatine, and its derivatives. We found higher levels of caffeic acid and agmatine at 30 days compared to 60 or 90 days.
