| 1 | Comparative efficacy of various exercise interventions on cognitive function in patients with mild cognitive impairment or dementia:A systematic review and network meta-analysis显示文摘Background:Exercise is a promising nonpharmacological therapy for cognitive dysfunction,but it is unclear which type of exercise is most effective.The objective of this study was to compare and rank the effectiveness of various exercise interventions on cognitive function in patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)or dementia and to examine the effects of exercise on the symptoms relevant to cognitive impairment.Methods:We searched PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,SPORTDiscus,and PsycInfo through September 2019 and included randomized controlled trials that examined the effectiveness of exercise interventions in patients with MCI or dementia.Primary outcomes included global cognition,executive cognition,and memory cognition.Secondary outcomes included activities of daily living,neuropsychiatric symptoms,and quality of life.Pairwise analyses and network meta-analyses were performed using a random effects model.Results:A total of 73 articles from 71 trials with 5606 participants were included.All types of exercise were effective in increasing or maintaining global cognition,and resistance exercise had the highest probability of being the most effective intervention in slowing the decrease in global cognition(standard mean difference(SMD)=1.05,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.56-1.54),executive function(SMD=0.85,95%CI:0.21-1.49),and memory function(SMD=0.32,95%CI:0.01-0.63)in patients with cognitive dysfunction.Subgroup analyses for patients with MCI revealed different effects,and multicomponent exercise was most likely to be the optimal exercise therapy for preventing the decline of global cognition(SMD=0.99,95%CI:0.44-1.54)and executive function(SMD=0.72,95%CI:0.06-1.38).However,only resistance exercise showed significant effects on memory function for patients with MCI(SMD=0.35,95%CI:0.01-0.69).Exercise interventions also showed various effects on the secondary outcomes.Conclusion:Resistance exercise has the highest probability of being the optimal exercise type for slowing cognitive declin e in patients withcognitive dysfunction,especially in patients with dementia.Multicomponent exercise tends to be most effective in protecting global cognition and executive function in patients with MCI. | Xiuxiu Huang Xiaoyan Zhao Bei Li Ying Cai Shifang Zhang Qiaoqin Wan Fang Yu | 2022 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2022,11,2: | 19 |
| 2 | Influence of dexamethasone on mesenteric lymph node of rats with severe acute pancreatitis显示文摘AIM: To study the influence and mechanisms of dexamethasone on mesenteric lymph node of rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP). METHODS: The SAP rats were assigned to model, treated or sham-operated groups. The mortality, pathological changes of mesenteric lymph nodes, expression levels of NF-kB, P-selectin, Bax, Bcl-2 and caspase-3 protein and changes in apoptotic indexes in lymph nodes were observed at 3, 6 and 12 h after operation. The blood levels of endotoxin, superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), and endothelin-1 (ET-1) in blood were determined. RESULTS: SOD content, expression of Bax protein and apoptotic index were significantly higher in the treated group than in the model group at different time points (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Other blood-detecting indexes and histopathological scores of mesenteric lymphnodes were lower in the treated than in the model group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01 or P < 0.01). NF-kB protein expression was negative in all groups. Comparing P-selectin and caspase-3 expression levels among all three groups, there was no marked difference between the model and treated group. CONCLUSION: Dexamethasone can protect mesen-teric lymph nodes. | 4 | Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. | 7 | Hierarchically nanostructured porous TiO_2(B) with superior photocatalytic CO_2 reduction activity显示文摘Hierarchically nanostructured, porous TiO_2(B) microspheres were synthesized by a microwave-assisted solvothermal method combined with subsequent heat treatment in air. The materials were carefully characterized by scanning and transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, CO_2 adsorption, and a range of spectroscopies, including Raman, infrared, X-ray photoelectron and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The hierarchical TiO_2(B) particles are constructed by ultrathin nanosheets and possess large specific surface area, which provided many active sites for CO_2 adsorption as well as CO_2 conversion. The TiO_2(B)nanostructures exhibited marked photocatalytic activity for CO_2 reduction to methane and methanol. Anatase TiO_2 and P25 were used as the reference photocatalysts. Transient photocurrent measurement also proved the higher photoactivity of TiO_2(B) than that of anatase TiO_2. In this study, a genome-wide characterization of this family was conducted in maize(Zea mays). Thirty-one SBP-box genes were i dentified to be di stributed in nine chromosomes an d 16 of the m were complementary to the mature Zmmi R156 sequences. All the Z. mays SBP(Zm S BP) genes were classified into two clusters with eight subgroups according to the phylogenetic analysis of proteins, which were consistent with the pattern of exon-intron structures. The phylogenetic tree of the Zm SBP, Oryz a sativa SBP-like(Os SPL) and Arabidopsis thaliana SBP-like(AtSPL) genes were constructed and all the SBP-box genes were divided into eight groups, which was the same as the classification of Zm SBP genes. The comparision of the expression profiles of all SBP-box genes in these three species indicated that most orthologous genes had similar expression patterns. | 13 | Toxic effects of chlortetracycline on maize growth,reactive oxygen species generation and the antioxidant response显示文摘The toxicity of chlortetracycline (CTC) on maize (Zea mays L.) growth and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation was studied.The root and shoot lengths and fresh weights of maize seedlings were inhibited by CTC treatment (p < 0.05).Root length was more sensitive than other parameters with the EC 10 value of 0.064 mg/L.The spin trapping technique followed by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) analysis was used to quantify the ROS production.The ROS generated in maize roots after exposure to CTC was identified as hydroxyl radical (·OH).The EPR signal intensity correlated positively with the logarithm of CTC concentrations exposed (p < 0.05).The dynamic changes of malondialdehyde (MDA) contents and the antioxidative enzyme activities in maize roots were also determined.As compared to the control group,CTC was found to significantly increase MDA content.Treatment of maize roots with the ·OH scavenger sodium benzoate (SB) reduced the MDA content and enhanced the antioxidative enzyme activities.The results demonstrated the harmfulness of CTC at high dose to maize in the early developmental stage,and clarified that the inducement of ·OH is one of the mechanisms of CTC toxicity. | Bei Wen Yu Liu Peng Wang Tong WU Shuzhen Zhang Xiaoquan Shan Jingfen Lu | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6: | 6 |

But the existing methods may inevitably take fine details mistaken for noise to remove. In order to solve the problem an improved anisotropic diffusion filtering model is proposed. Firstly, a novel diffusion function is introduced based on Perona and Malik model, which well overcomes the high rate of convergence. Secondly, the gradient threshold is modified to an adaptive estimation function, so it is better at adaptive threshold regulations according to the pixels and iteration times. Finally, the edges are extracted from the restored images and the results are evaluated quantificationally. | 17 | Single-center Experience in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Hepatic Perivascular Epithelioid Cell Neoplasm显示文摘Background and Aims:Perivascular epithelioid cell neo-plasms(PEComas)are a rare type of mesenchymal neo-plasm and their preoperative diagnosis is challenging.In this study,we summarized the experience from a single medical center to study the examinations,clinical presen-tations,and pathological and histological characteristics of PEComas in the liver in order to optimize overall un-derstanding of the diagnosis and treatment of these neo-plasms.Methods:We conducted a retrospective analysis to investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics as well as imaging presentations of 75 patients diagnosed with hepatic PEComa in The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhe-jiang University between April 2010 and April 2020.Re-sults:Among the 75 patients,52 were women,and the median age was 48 years.Most patients had no specific symptoms,and two were admitted to the hospital for a second time owing to relapse.All patients underwent surgi-cal resection.Histologically,38 patients had classical angio-myolipoma(AML)and 37 had epithelioid AML.The PECo-mas were accompanied by positive immunohistochemical expression of HMB45,Melan-A,and smooth muscle actin.Follow-up data were obtained from 47 of the total 75 pa-tients,through October 2020.Two patients had metastasis after surgery.Conclusions:AML is the most common type of hepatic PEComa.There are no specific symptoms of he-patic PEComa,and serological examinations and imaging modalities for accurate preoperative diagnosis are lacking.Epithelioid AML should be considered a tumor of uncertain malignant potential;however,the prognosis of PEComa af-ter resection is promising. | Junjun Jia Jia Luo Cheng-Gen Pan Guomei Ge Meibao Feng Bei Zou Li Liu Shusen Zheng Jun Yu | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,1: | 5 |
| 18 | Knockdown of MRP4 by lentivirus-mediated siRNA improves sensitivity to adriamycin in adriamycin-resistant acute myeloid leukemia cells显示文摘Chemotherapy remains the standard treatment for acute myeloid leukemia;however,the emergence of drug resistance is a major hurdle in the successful treatment of leukemia.The expression of multidrug resistance-associated protein 4(MRP4)induces re- sistance in the adriamycin-resistant acute myeloid leukemia cell line,K562/ADR.The aim of this study was to investigate whether knockdown of MRP4 by lentivirus-mediated siRNA could improve the sensitivity of K562/ADR cells to adriamycin.Five lenti- virus-mediated short hairpin RNAs(lv-shRNAs-MRP4)were designed to trigger the gene silencing RNA interference(RNAi) pathway.The efficiency of lentivirus-mediated siRNA infection into K562/ADR cells was determined using fluorescence mi- croscopy to observe lentivirus-mediated GFP expression.MRP4 expression in infected K562/ADR cells was evaluated by real- time PCR and Western blot analysis.The MTS assay was used to measure cell viability and flow cytometry was used to measure apoptosis.The transfection efficiency of K562/ADR cells was over 80 percent.The gene silencing efficacy of lv-shRNA1-MRP4 was superior to the other constructs.Infection of K562/ADR cells with lv-shRNA1-MRP4 led to strong inhibition of MRP4 mRNA and protein expression.Combined treatment with lv-shRNA1-MRP4 and adriamycin decreased cell growth and increased apoptosis compared to treatment with lv-shRNA1-MRP4 or adriamycin alone.These data indicate that in K562/ADR cells MRP4 is involved in drug resistance mechanisms and that lentivirus-mediated knockdown of MRP4 may enhance sensitivity to adriamycin. | LIU Bei ZHAO Li MA HaiZhen ZHANG Wei JIN Yu | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,1: | 5 |

| 20 | Comparison study of slag corrosion resistance of MgO–MgAl_(2)O_(4),MgO–CaO and MgO–C refractories under electromagnetic field显示文摘To illuminate the corrosion behavior of MgO-based refractories under electromagnetic field(EMF),herein,the slag corrosion and penetration resistance of MgO–MgAl_(2)O_(4),MgO–CaO,and MgO–C refractories were investigated using the rotary immersion slag resistance test at 1873 K for 1 h.The results showed that the order of the good slag resistance of as-tested refractories was MgO–C>MgO–CaO>MgO–MgAl_(2)O_(4).The EMF accelerated the corrosion and penetration of slag to the refractories,which caused the molten slag to be easier into the refractories by natural convection and Marangoni effect.In addition,the MgO–C refractories did not show an overwhelming advantage in slag resistance because EMF impeded the formation of the dense protection layer.Consequently,in view of the present results,the MgO–C refractories are still the most promising slag line material for refining furnace among MgO–MgAl_(2)O_(4),MgO–CaO,and MgO–C refractories. | Xin‑ming Ren Bei‑yue Ma Shi‑ming Li Hong‑xia Li Guo‑qi Liu Wen‑gang Yang Fan Qian Shi‑xian Zhao Jing‑kun Yu | 2021 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2021,28,1: | 4 |
