| 1 | Precise measurement of stable (δ^(88/86)Sr) and radiogenic (^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr) strontium isotope ratios in geological standard reference materials using MC-ICP-MS显示文摘A new method for high-precision measurements of stable (δ88/86Sr) and radiogenic (87Sr/86Sr) Sr isotope ratios was developed on the MC-ICP-MS using a standard-sample-standard bracketing protocol. By carefully monitoring and controlling the accumulation of the on-peak backgrounds (i.e. the carryover memory) on the instrument, our method can provide an external precision of around 0.010‰ to 0.014‰ for 88/86 Sr measurements. Such precision is comparable to that achieved by double-spike TIMS method (DS-TIMS), and 2-3 times better than those of the previously reported results by MC-ICP-MS without spiking. The results of the standard seawater IAPSO are also identical to those by DS-TIMS. However, our method is more advantageous, efficient and convenient to use for routine Sr isotopic analysis than the DS-TIMS method as there is no need to prepare and calibrate the 84Sr-87 Sr double spike. Using this method, we measured the δ88/86Sr values in a series of international geological rock standards, which show large variability, with the lowest value (0.20‰) registered in JG-2, a terrestrial granite, and the highest value (0.539‰) in UB-N, a serpentinite. | 2 | Improvement of the matrix and the interface quality of a Cu/Al composite by the MARB process显示文摘The matrix accumulative roll bonding technology (MARB) can improve the matrix performance of metal com- posite and strengthen the bonding quality of the interface. In this research, for the first time, the technology of MARB was proposed. A sound Cu/Al bonding composite was obtained using the MARB process and the bonding characteristic of the interface was studied using scanning electricity microscope (SEM) and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The result indicated that accumulation cycles and diffusion annealing temperature were the most important factors for fabricating a Cu/Al composite material. | 3 | Identification of Differentially-expressed Genes in Intestinal Gastric Cancer by Microarray Analysis显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC) is one of the most frequent malignant tumors. In order to systematically characterize the cellular and molecular mechanisms of intestinal GC development,in this study, we used 22 K oligonucleotide microarrays and bioinformatics analysis to evaluate the gene expression profiles of GC in 45 tissue samples, including 20 intestinal GC tissue samples,20 normal appearing tissues(NATs) adjacent to tumors and 5 noncancerous gastric mucosa tissue samples. These profiles allowed us to explore the transcriptional characteristics of GC and determine the change patterns in gene expression that may be of clinical significance. 1519 and 1255 differentially-expressed genes(DEGs) were identified in intestinal GC tissues and NATs, respectively,as determined by Bayesian analysis(P < 0.001). | 5 | Preparation and Characterization of Tung Oil Toughened Modified Phenolic Foams with Enhanced Mechanical Properties and Smoke Suppression显示文摘In this study,we prepared a series of tung oil phenolic foams(TPF)by a one-pot method.The FT-IR and 1H NMR spectra confirm the successful Friedel-Crafts grafting of phenol to the long-chain alkyl group in tung oil.Modified TPFs exhibit enhanced mechanical properties,including compressive and flexural strengths of up to 0.278±0.036 MPa and 0.450±0.017 MPa,respectively,which represent increases of 68.75%and 86.72%over those of pure phenolic foam(PF).SEM spectra reveal the TPF microstructure to have uniform hexagonal cell morphology,narrower cell size distribution,and smaller mean cell size,suggesting enhanced mechanical properties.The TPF total smoke release decreased by 74.23%,indicating that the long alkyl chain significantly improves smoke suppression of the combusting foam.However,due to the flammability of the alkyl chains,the TPF limiting oxygen index decreases with increasing tung oil content.Moreover,TPF exhibits reduced thermal stability and high-temperature charring rate,elevated peak and mean heat release rates,and higher total heat release compared with pure PF.Therefore,future research will focus on the use of tung oil modified flame retardant to provide more robust phenolic foams. | Fei Song Puyou Jia Caiying Bo Xiaoli Ren Lihong Hu Yonghong Zhou | 2020 | Journal of Renewable Materials2020，8，5： | 2 |
| 6 | Contents Variation Analysis ofγ-Amino Butyric Acid in Semen sojae praeparatum Fermentation Using Online Pre-Column Derivatization-HPLC显示文摘This paper reported the contents variation analysis ofγ-amino butyric acid(GABA)in Semen sojae praeparatum(SSP)which is a famous traditional Chinese medicine.High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used and GABA was derivatized by online pre-column derivatization with o-phthalaldehyde(OPA).To validate this method,the precision,stability,repeatability and recovery were discussed.In the concentration range from 0.0125 to 0.400 mg/m L,the calibration curve for GABA was linear and the regression equation was obtained with correlation coefficient(R2)of 0.9999.Relatively high levels of GABA exist in SSP and the content changes of GABA at different time points during the fermenting process were detected.At the'yellow cladding'stage,GABA level was very low or even undetectable;the'secondary fermentation'stage witnessed a rapid increase of GABA content to 1.39-5.52 mg/g,which remained stable after 18 days of'secondary fermentation'.This study demonstrated that GABA was generated at the'secondary fermentation'stage,revealing the significance and rationality of the'secondary fermentation'stage in the fermenting process of SSP.On the other hand,it suggested the downside of taking soy isoflavones as the only measurement in existing quality assessment and optimization approach for the fermenting process of SSP. | WENG Meizhi HE Jing REN Jiaxiu LIANG Yonghong CHEN Qingfeng SU Mingsheng WANG Liyuan XIE Xiaomei | 2021 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2021，26，1： | 2 |

| 11 | Low-affinity SPL binding sites contribute to subgenome expression divergence in allohexaploid wheat显示文摘Expression divergence caused by genetic variation and crosstalks among subgenomes of the allohexaploid bread wheat(Triticum aestivum.L.,BBAADD)is hypothesized to increase its adaptability and/or plasticity.However,the molecular basis of expression divergence remains unclear.Squamosa promoter-binding protein-like(SPL)transcription factors are critical for a wide array of biological processes.In this study,we constructed expression regulatory networks by combining DAP-seq for 40 SPLs,ATACseq,and RNA-seq.Our findings indicate that a group of low-affinity SPL binding regions(SBRs)were targeted by diverse SPLs and caused different sequence preferences around the core GTAC motif.The SBRs including the low-affinity ones are evolutionarily conserved,enriched GWAS signals related to important agricultural traits.However,those SBRs are highly diversified among the cis-regulatory regions(CREs)of syntenic genes,with less than 8%SBRs coexisting in triad genes,suggesting that CRE variations are critical for subgenome differentiations.Knocking out of Ta SPL7A/B/D and Ta SPL15A/B/D subfamily further proved that both high-and low-affinity SBRs played critical roles in the differential expression of genes regulating tiller number and spike sizes.Our results have provided baseline data for downstream networks of SPLs and wheat improvements and revealed that CRE variations are critical sources for subgenome divergence in the allohexaploid wheat. | Hongcui Pei Wan Teng Lifeng Gao Hengbin Gao Xueni Ren Yanhong Liu Jizeng Jia Yiping Tong Yonghong Wang Zefu Lu | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023，66，4： | 1 |
