| 2 | Acceleration of Glacier Mass Loss after 2013 at the Mt.Everest(Qomolangma)显示文摘Satellite geodesy is capable of observing glacier height changes and most recent studies focus on the decadal scale due to limitations of data acquisition and precision.Glaciers at the Mt.Everest(Qomolangma),locating at the central Himalaya,have been studied from the 1970s to 2015.Here we obtained TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X images observed in two epochs,a group around 2013 and another in 2017.Together with SRTM observed in 2000,we derived geodetic glacier mass balance between 2000 and 2013 and 2013 and 2017.We proposed two InSAR procedures for deriving the second period,which yields with basically identical results of geodetic glacier mass balance.The differencing between DEMs derived by TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X shows better precision than that between TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X formed DEM and SRTM,and it can capable of providing geodetic glacier mass balance at a sub-decadal scale.Glaciers at the Mt.Everest(Qomolangma)and its surroundings present obvious speeding up in mass loss rates before and after 2013 for both the Chinese and the Nepalese sides.The previous obtained spatial heterogeneous pattern for glacier downwasting between 2000 and 2013 generally kept the same after 2013.Glaciers with lacustrine terminus present the most rapid lost rates. | Gang LI Hui LIN Qinghua YE Liming JIANG Andrew HOOPER Yinyi LIN | 2020 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2020,3,4: | 4 |
| 3 | Unintentional forking analysis in wireless blockchain networks显示文摘The forking problem plays a key role in the security issue,which is a major concern in the blockchain system.Although many works studied the attack strategy,consensus mechanism,privacy-protecting and security performance analysis,most of them only address the intentional forking caused by a malicious attacker.In fact,without any attacker,unintentional forking still remains due to transmission delay and failure,especially in wireless network scenarios.To this end,this paper investigates the reason for generating unintentional forking and derives the forking probability expression in Wireless Blockchain Networks(WBN).Furthermore,in order to illustrate the unintentional forking on the blockchain system,the performances in terms of resource utilization rate,block generation time,and Transaction Per Second(TPS)are investigated.The numerical results show that the target difficulty of hash algorithm in generating a new block,the delay time of broadcasting,the network scale,and the transmission failure probability would affect the unintentional forking probability significantly,which can provide a reliable basis for avoiding forking to save resource consumption and improving system performance. | Qilie Liu Yinyi Xu Bin Cao Lei Zhang Mugen Peng | 2021 | Digital Communications and Networks2021,7,3: | 3 |
| 4 | The role of autophagic and lysosomal pathways in ischemic brain injury显示文摘Autophagy is involved in neural cell death after cerebral ischemia. Our previous studies showed that rapamycin-induced autophagy decreased the rate of apoptosis, but the rate of apoptosis was in-creased after the autophagy inhibitor, 3-methyladenine, was used. In this study, a suture-occluded method was performed to generate a rat model of brain ischemia. Under a transmission electron microscope, autophagic bodies and autophagy lysosomes were markedly accumulated in neurons at 4 hours post brain ischemic injury, with their numbers gradually reducing over time. Western blotting demonstrated that protein levels of light chain 3-II and cathepsin B were significantly in-creased within 4 hours of ischemic injury, but these levels were not persistently upregulated over time. Confocal microscopy showed that autophagy was mainly found in neurons with positive light chain 3 signal. Injection of rapamycin via tail vein promoted the occurrence of autophagy in rat brain tissue after cerebral ischemia and elevated light chain 3 and cathepsin B expression. However, in-jection of 3-methyladenine significantly diminished light chain 3-II and cathepsin B expression. Results verified that autophagic and lysosomal activity is increased in ischemic neurons. Abnormal components in cells can be eliminated through upregulating cell autophagy or inhibiting autophagy after ischemic brain injury, resulting in a dynamic balance of substances in cells. | 6 | Recent Progress in Interfacial Dipole Engineering for Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘Design and modification of interfaces have been the main strategies in developing perovskite solar cells(PSCs). Among the interfacial treatments, dipole molecules have emerged as a practical approach to improve the efficiency and stability of PSCs due to their unique and versatile abilities to control the interfacial properties. Despite extensive applications in conventional semiconductors, working principles and design of interfacial dipoles in the performance/stability enhancement of PSCs are lacking an insightful elucidation. In this review, we first discuss the fundamental properties of electric dipoles and the specific roles of interfacial dipoles in PSCs. Then we systematically summarize the recent progress of dipole materials in several key interfaces to achieve efficient and stable PSCs. In addition to such discussions, we also dive into reliable analytical techniques to support the characterization of interfacial dipoles in PSCs. Finally, we highlight future directions and potential avenues for research in the development of dipolar materials through tailored molecular designs.
