4Dynamic memory paravirtualization transparent to guest OS显示文摘This paper introduces dynamic paravirtualization, which imitates paravirtualization and aims at reducing VM exits of full virtualization with hardware support. In dynamic paravirtualization, VMM (virtual machine monitor) dynamically monitors and replaces the hot instructions, which cause most VM exits. It is transparent to the guest OS such that the legacy OSes can benefit from this optimization. Our study focuses on reducing the overhead of memory virtualization-dynamic memory paravirtualization (DMP). We implant a new memory management mechanism in VMM such that all user-mode page faults can be handled by the guest OS directly without VM exits. We implement a prototype of dynamic memory paravirtulization based on a version of KVM using Intel VT. Our experimental results show that our technique essentially eliminates the overhead of VM exits caused by page faults. 5Effect of hydrogen on the corrosion behavior of the Mg-xZn alloys显示文摘Hydrogen evolution reaction is inevitable during the corrosion of Mg alloys.The effect of hydrogen on the corrosion behavior of the Mg-2Zn and Mg-5Zn alloys is investigated by charging hydrogen treatment.The surface morphologies of the samples after charging hydrogen were observed using a scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and the corrosion resistance was evaluated by polarization curves.It is found that there are oxide films formed on the surface of the charged hydrogen samples.The low hydrogen evolution rate is helpful to improve the corrosion resistance of Mg alloys,while the high hydrogen evolution rate can increases the defects in the films and further deteriorates their protection ability.Also,the charging hydrogen effect is greatly associated with the microstructure of Mg substrate.Yingwei Song En-Hou Han Kaihui Dong Dayong Shan Chang Dong Yim Bong Sun You 2014Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2014,2,3:3

7Mapping of lakes in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 2016 to 2021: trend and potential regularity显示文摘Lakes over the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (TP) have large quantities and areas. As an important component of fragile plateau ecosystems,these lakes have attracted increasing attention. However,owing to the limitations of technology and methods,changes in smaller lakes on the TP have received less attention. In this study,we used Google Earth Engine (GEE) with the Analysis Ready Data (ARD) preparation framework to obtain preprocessed Sentinel-1 data covering the plateau. The D-LinkNet framework was introduced to achieve lake extraction,and the lake dataset was completed from 2016 to 2021. The lake dataset showed an area accuracy of 86.49% and Intersection over Union (IoU) of 0.72-0.99 in different regions. The findings were as follows: during the study period,the TP lakes tended to be stable after increasing,with an increase in area and number of +7.6% and +14.8%. Except for the northwest TP,the other regions show the same general trend. In particular,the Tarim Basin exhibited a lake variation pattern independent of the TP. Significantly,we found frequent lake activity in the Kunlun Mountains,Qaidam Basin,Mountain Qogir,etc. Effects of the ongoing La Niña event on the TP lakes may occur in the next few years.Zhichong Yang Si-Bo Duan Xiaoai Dai Yingwei Sun Meng Liu 2022International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1:1
8A coating strategy on titanium implants with enhanced photodynamic therapy and CO-based gas therapy for bacterial killing and inflammation regulation显示文摘Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy(aPDT)has been considered a noninvasive and effective modality against the bacterial infection of peri‑implantitis,especially the aPDT triggered by near-infrared(NIR)light due to the large penetration depth in tissue.However,the complexity of hypoxia microenvironments and the distance of aPDT sterilization still pose challenges before realizing the aPDT clinical application.Due to the long lifespan and transmission distance of therapeutic gas molecules,we design a multi-functional gas generator that combines aPDT as well as O_(2) and CO gas release function,which can solve the problem of hypoxia(O_(2))in PDT and the problem of inflammation regulation(CO)in the distal part of peri‑implant inflammation under near-infrared(NIR)irradiation.In the composite nanoplatform that spin-coated on the surface of titanium implants,up-conversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)were involved in converting the NIR to visible,which further excites the partially oxidized stannic sulfide(SnS_(2)),realizing the therapeutic gas release.Indocyanine green(ICG)was further integrated to enhance the aPDT performance(Ti-U@SnS_(2)/I).Therefore,reactive oxygen species(ROS),CO,and O_(2) can be controllably administered via a composite nano-platform mediated by a single NIR light(808 nm).This implant surface modification strategy could achieve great self-enhancement antibacterial effectiveness and regulate the lingering questions,such as relieving the anoxic microenvironment and reaching deep infection sites,providing a viable antibiotic-free technique to combat peri‑implantitis.Liang Cheng Bingshuai Zhou Manlin Qi Xiaolin Sun Shujun Dong Yue Sun Biao Dong Lin Wang Yingwei Yang 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,2:0
