1Epigenetic Modifications of mRNA and DNA in Plants显示文摘Advances in the detection and mapping of messenger RNA(mRNA)N^6-methyladenosine(m 6A)and 5-methylcytosine(m 5C),and DNA N^6-methyldeoxyadenosine(6mA)redefined our understanding of these modifications as additional tiers of epigenetic regulation. In plants, the most prevalent internal mRNA modifications,m^6A and m^5C,play crucial and dynamic roles in many processes, including embryo development, stem cell fate determination, trichome branching, leaf morphogenesis, floral transition, stress responses, fruit ripening, and root development. The newly identified and widespread epigenetic marker 6mA DNA methylation is associated with gene expression, plant development, and stress responses. Here,we review the latest research progress on mRNA and DNA epigenetic modifications, including the detection, dynamics, distribution, functions, regulatory proteins, and evolution, with a focus on m^6A,m^5C,and 6mA.We also provide some perspectives on future research of the newly identified and unknown epigenetic modifications of mRNA and DNA in plants.Zhe Liang Adeel Riaz Sadaruddin Chachar Yike Ding Hai Du Xiaofeng Gu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,1:12
2Machine Learning With Data Assimilation and Uncertainty Quantification for Dynamical Systems:A Review显示文摘Data assimilation(DA)and uncertainty quantification(UQ)are extensively used in analysing and reducing error propagation in high-dimensional spatial-temporal dynamics.Typical applications span from computational fluid dynamics(CFD)to geoscience and climate systems.Recently, much effort has been given in combining DA,UQ and machine learning(ML)techniques. These research efforts seek to address some critical challenges in high-dimensional dynamical systems, including but not limited to dynamical system identification, reduced order surrogate modelling, error covariance specification and model error correction.A large number of developed techniques and methodologies exhibit a broad applicability across numerous domains, resulting in the necessity for a comprehensive guide. This paper provides the first overview of state-of-the-art researches in this interdisciplinary field, covering a wide range of applications. This review is aimed at ML scientists who attempt to apply DA and UQ techniques to improve the accuracy and the interpretability of their models, but also at DA and UQ experts who intend to integrate cutting-edge ML approaches to their systems. Therefore, this article has a special focus on how ML methods can overcome the existing limits of DA and UQ,and vice versa. Some exciting perspectives of this rapidly developing research field are also discussed.Index Terms-Data assimilation(DA),deep learning, machine learning(ML),reduced-order-modelling,uncertainty quantification(UQ).Sibo Cheng César Quilodrán-Casas Said Ouala Alban Farchi Che Liu Pierre Tandeo Ronan Fablet Didier Lucor Bertrand Iooss Julien Brajard Dunhui Xiao Tijana Janjic Weiping Ding Yike Guo Alberto Carrassi Marc Bocquet Rossella Arcucci 2023IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2023,10,6:1
3L-Arginine based polyester amide/hyaluronic acid hybrid hydrogel with dual anti-inflammation and antioxidant functions for accelerated wound healing显示文摘Nowadays, there are still many challenges to skin regeneration. As a new type of skin substitute, hydrogel has emerging gradually with its excellent properties. However, it is still a challenge to combine with biological active agents to facilitate skin regeneration. Under the circumstance, we synthesized argininebased poly(ester amide)(Arg-PEA) and hyaluronic acid(HA-MA), and combined them into new hybrid hydrogels via photo-crosslinking. We found that the internal structure and physicochemical properties of hybrid hydrogels were greatly improved with the increase of content of Arg-PEA. Therefore, we designed hybrid hydrogels with 5 wt% and 10 wt% of Arg-PEA content, respectively. Besides, we selected the corresponding anti-inflammatory(CRP, TNF-α) indicators to detect the anti-inflammatory properties of the hybrid hydrogels at the protein level, and the corresponding antioxidant indicators(SOD, GSH/GSSG, MDA)were selected to investigate the antioxidant properties of hybrid hydrogels at the cellular level in vitro. In addition, we also selected relevant genes to test the effect of hybrid hydrogels on fibrosis and vascularization in the process of skin wound healing in vitro and verified them in vivo with a mouse dorsum wound model. The results confirmed that Arg-PEA/HA-MA(AH) hybrid hydrogel was a prospective scaffold material for skin regeneration.Tong Liu Guiting Liu Jianhua Zhang Zhangfan Ding Yike Li Krishna Sigdel Xiaoyi Wang Huixu Xie 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,4:0
