1Experimental Investigation into Characteristics of Plasma Aerodynamic Actuation Generated by Dielectric Barrier Discharge显示文摘This article carries out synthetic measurements and analysis of the characteristics of the asymmetric surface dielectric barrier discharge plasma aerodynamic actuation.The rotational and vibrational temperatures of an N2 (C3Пu) molecule are measured in terms of the optical emission spectra from the N2 second positive system.A simplified collision-radiation model for N2(C) and N2+(B) is established on the basis of the ratio of emission intensity at 391.4 nm to that at 380.5 nm and the ratio of emission intensity at 371.1 nm to that at 380.5 nm for calculating temporal and spatial averaged electron temperatures and densities.Under one atmosphere pressure,the electron temperature and density are on the order of 1.6 eV and 1011cm-3 respectively.The body force induced by the plasma aerodynamic actuation is on the order of tens of mN while the induced flow velocity is around 1.3m/s.Starting vortex is firstly induced by the actuation;then it develops into a near-wall jet,about 70 mm downstream of the actuator.Unsteady plasma aerodynamic actuation might stimulate more vortexes in the flow field.The induced flow direction by nanosecond discharge plasma aerodynamic actuation is not parallel,but vertical to the dielectric layer surface.Wu Yun Li Yinghong Jia Min Song Huimin Su Changbing Pu Yikang 2010Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2010,23,1:20

3Meta-analysis of cognitive function in Chinese first-episode schizophrenia: MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery (MCCB) profile of impairment显示文摘Background Compromised neurocognition is a core feature of schizophrenia. With increasing studies researching cognitive function of Chinese patients with first-episode schizophrenia (FES) using MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery (MCCB), it is not clear about the level and pattern of cognitive impairment among this population. Aim To provide a meta-analysis systematically analysing studies of neurocognitive function using MCCB in Chinese patients with FES. Methods An independent literature search of both Chinese and English databases up to 13 March 2019 was conducted by two reviewers. Standardised mean difference (SMD) was calculated using the random effects model to evaluate the effect size. Results 56 studies (FES=3167, healthy controls (HC)=3017) were included and analysed. No study was rated as 'high quality' according to Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology. Compared with HCs, Chinese patients with FES showed impairment with large effect size in overall cognition (SMD=-1.60,95% Cl -1.82 to -1.38,厂=67%) and all seven cognitive domains, with the SMD ranging from -0.87 to -1.41. In nine MCCB subtests, patients with FES showed significant difference in Symbol Coding (SMD=-1.90), Trail Making Test (TMT)(SMD=-1.36), Continuous Performance Test-Identical Pairs (SMD=-1.33), Hopkins Verbal Learning Test (SMD=-1.24), Brief Visuospatial Memory Test (SMD=-1.18), Mazes (SMD=-1.16), Category Fluency (SMD=-1.01), Spatial Span (SMD=-0.69) and Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (SMD=-0.38). Conclusions Our meta-analysis demonstrates that Chinese patients with FES show neurocognitive deficits across all seven MCCB cognitive domains and all nine subtests, particularly in two neurocognitive domains: speed of processing and attention/vigilance, with the least impairment shown in social cognition. 4GABAergic Abnormalities Associated with Sensorimotor Corticostriatal Community Structural Deficits in ErbB4 Knockout Mice and First-Episode Treatment-Naive Patients with Schizophrenia显示文摘The current study was designed to explore how disruption of specific molecular circuits in the cerebral cortex may cause sensorimotor cortico-striatal community structure deficits in both a mouse model and patients with schizophrenia.We used prepulse inhibition(PPI)and brain structural and diffusion MRI scans in 23 mice with conditional ErbB4 knockout in parvalbumin interneurons and 27 matched controls.Quantitative real-time PCR was used to assess the differential levels of GABA-related transcripts in brain regions.Concurrently,we measured structural and diffusion MRI and the cumulative contribution of risk alleles in the GABA pathway genes in firstepisode treatment-naı¨ve schizophrenic patients(n=117)and in age-and sex-matched healthy controls(n=86).We present the first evidence of gray and white matter impairment of right sensorimotor cortico-striatal networks and reproduced the sensorimotor gating deficit in a mouse model of schizophrenia.Significant correlations between gray matter volumes(GMVs)in the somatosensory cortex and PPI as well as glutamate decarboxylase 1 mRNA expression were found in controls but not in knockout mice.Furthermore,these findings were confirmed in a human sample in which we found significantly decreased gray and white matter in sensorimotor cortico-striatal networks in schizophrenic patients.The psychiatric risk alleles of the GABA pathway also displayed a significant negative correlation with the GMVs of the somatosensory cortex in patients.Our study identified that ErbB4 ablation in parvalbumin interneurons induced GABAergic dysregulation,providing valuable mechanistic insights into the sensorimotor cortico-striatal community structure deficits associated with schizophrenia.Chengcheng Zhang Peiyan Ni Yikang Liu Yang Tian Jinxue Wei Bo Xiang Liansheng Zhao Xiaojing Li Xiaohong Ma Wei Deng Wanjun Guo Rongjun Ni Yamin Zhang Qiang Wang Hailiang Huang Nanyin Zhang Tao Li 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,2:9

6A novel satellite-equipped receiver for autonomous monitoring of GNSS navigation signal quality显示文摘Global navigation satellite system(GNSS) comes with potential unavoidable application risks such as the sudden distortion or failure of navigation signals because its satellites are generally operated until failure. In order to solve the problems associated with these risks, receiver autonomous integrity monitoring(RAIM) and ground-based signal quality monitoring stations are widely used. Although these technologies can protect the user from the risks, they are expensive and have limited region coverage. Autonomous monitoring of satellite signal quality is an effective method to eliminate these shortcomings of the RAIM and ground-based signal quality monitoring stations; thus, a new navigation signal quality monitoring receiver which can be equipped on the satellite platform of GNSS is proposed in this paper. Because this satellite-equipped receiver is tightly coupled with navigation payload, the system architecture and its preliminary design procedure are first introduced. In theory, code-tracking loop is able to provide accurate time delay estimation of received signals. However, because of the nonlinear characteristics of the navigation payload, the traditional code-tracking loop introduces errors. To eliminate these errors, the dummy massive parallel correlators(DMPC) technique is proposed. This technique can reconstruct the cross correlation function of a navigation signal with a high code phase resolution. Combining the DMPC and direct radio frequency(RF) sampling technology, the satellite-equipped receiver can calibrate the differential code bias(DCB) accurately. In the meantime, the abnormities and failures of navigation signal can also be monitored. Finally, the accuracy of DCB calibration and the performance of fault monitoring have been verified by practical test data and numerical simulation data, respectively. 7Permeation into but not across the cornea:Bioimaging of intact nanoemulsions and nanosuspensions using aggregation-caused quenching probes显示文摘Nanoemulsions(NEs) and nanosuspensions(NSs) show great potential in enhancing the ocular bioavailability of therapeutics through topical delivery. However, transocular fate of intact NEs and NSs is still inconclusive. In this study, an aggregation-caused quenching fluorescent probe is used to track precorneal retention and transocular transportation of intact NEs and NSs, while coumarin 6 is used to mimick the cargo. NEs show superior precorneal retention to NSs. Both the two types of nanocarriers can permeate into but not across the cornea. The smaller NEs(100 nm) permeate better into the cornea than the bigger ones(210 nm). Nanocarriers in the cornea serves as depots. The released cargo molecules can penetrate across the cornea and diffuse into the lens. 8Design and optimization of low-energy transfer orbit to Mars with multi-body environment显示文摘This paper discusses the problem of design and optimization of low-energy transfer orbit with multi-body environment. A new integrative method is proposed to effectively solve the problem, in which the parameterized patched manifolds in CR3BP(circular restricted three-body problems), the shape-based method with multi-body environment, the homotopic method with multi-body environment, and the low-thrust capturing and descending algorithm with multi-body environment are all included. Firstly, the parameters describing the patched manifolds in CR3 BP are optimized until the least total absolute velocity increment has been got, including the employment of the shape-based method with multi-body environment. Secondly, the low-thrust control laws of the transfer orbit are optimized employing the homotopic method with multi-body environment that transfers the fuel optimization problem to an easier energy optimization problem. Thirdly, the low-thrust descending orbit around Mars is computed using the laws proposed in this paper. As a typical example, the Earth-Mars transfer orbit design is discussed. The results showed that the parameters describing the patched manifolds could be optimized by the DE(differential evolution) algorithm effectively; the homotopic method with multi-body environment could get the optimal value that meets the first order optimality conditions; and the low-thrust descending orbit could effectively be captured by Mars and finally become a circular parking orbit around it by the hypothesis control laws proposed in this paper. It shows that the final fuel cost is much less than the optimal transfer in the patched two-body problems. 10Electronic circular dichroism behavior of chiral Phthiobuzone显示文摘Phthiobuzone is a bis(thiosemicarbazone)derivative with a single chiral center which has been used as a racemate in the clinical treatment of herpes and trachoma diseases.In this study,its two enantiomers were prepared from chiral amino acids and their absolute configurations were investigated by electronic circular dichroism(ECD)combined with modern quantum-chemical calculations using time-dependent density functional theory.It was found that solvation changed both the conformational distribution and the ECD spectrum of each conformer.The theoretical ECD spectra of the two enantiomers were in good agreement with the experimentally determined spectra of the corresponding isomers in dimethyl sulfoxide.The ECD behavior of the bis(thiosemicarbazone)chromophore in a chiral environment is also discussed.Our results indicate that ECD spectroscopy may be a useful tool for the stereochemical evaluation of chiral drugs.Li Li Lin Wang Yikang Si 2014Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2014,4,2:2
