| 1 | Large range step method for acoustic waveguide with two layer media显示文摘A numerical method is developed for solving the two-dimensional Helmholtz equation in a two-layer region bounded by a flat top, a flat bottom and a curved interface. A better local orthogonal transformation is used to flatten the curved interface of the waveguide. The one-way re-formulation based on the Dirichlet-to-Neumann (DtN) map is then used to reduce the boundary value problem to an initial value problem. Numerical implemetation of the resulting operator Riccati equation uses a large range step method for discretizing the range variable and a truncated local eigenfunction expansion for approximating the operators. | 2 | Magnetic polyamidoamine dendrimers for magnetic separation and sensitive determination of organochlorine pesticides from water samples by high-performance liquid chromatography显示文摘Organochlorine pesticides(OCPs)have received much attention due to their toxicity.Reliable methods to monitor their residues in the environment are needed.Here,magnetic polyamidoamine dendrimers were prepared by co-precipitation,Michael addition,and amidation.The magnetic polyamidoamine dendrimers demonstrated good adsorption ability for OCPs—this feature was utilized to construct a sensitive tool for monitoring OCPs in water samples.The proposed method provided remarkable linearity from 0.1 to 500μg/L and satisfactory limits of detection from 0.012 to 0.029μg/L.The spiked recoveries of the four target analytes were 91.8%-103.5%with relative standard deviations less than 4.5%.The magnetic materials had good reusability.The results indicated that the resulting method was an efficient,easy,rapid,economical,and eco-friendly tool for monitoring OCPs in aqueous samples. | Qingxiang Zhou Yalin Wu Yi Sun Xueying Sheng Yayan Tong Jinghan Guo Boyao Zhou Jingyi Zhao | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021，33，4： | 5 |

| 4 | Effect of pore size on CH4/N2 separation using activated carbon显示文摘In this paper,a model of activated carbon was established by molecular simulation and the separation performance of N2 and CH4 on activated carbon was studied.In order to evaluate the adsorption selectivity and diffusion selectivity of N2 and CH4,Grand Canonical Monte Carlo and molecular dynamic methods were used to obtain equilibrium adsorption isotherms and mean square displacements of N2 and CH4 on activated carbon with different pore sizes.Research results showed that the difference in adsorption isosteric heat of N2 and CH4 at the pore size of 0.46 nm is the largest,which is 5.759 and 7.03 kcal·mol^-1(1 cal=4.184 J),respectively.Activated carbon with pore size of 0.46 nm has the best N2 and CH4 adsorption selectivity,while its diffusion selectivity is not obvious. | Gaofei Chen Yaxiong An Yuanhui Shen Yayan Wang Zhongli Tang Bo Lu Donghui Zhang | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020，28，4： | 2 |
| 5 | MKP-1 reduces Aβ generation and alleviates cognitive impairments in Alzheimer’s disease models显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)phosphatase 1(MKP-1)is an essential negative regulator of MAPKs by dephosphorylating MAPKs at both tyrosine and threonine residues.Dysregulation of the MAPK signaling pathway has been associated with Alzheimer’s disease(AD).However,the role of MKP-1 in AD pathogenesis remains elusive.Here,we report that MKP-1 levels were decreased in the brain tissues of patients with AD and an AD mouse model.The reduction in MKP-1 gene expression appeared to be a result of transcriptional inhibition via transcription factor specificity protein 1(Sp1)cis-acting binding elements in the MKP-1 gene promoter.Amyloid-β(Aβ)-induced Sp1 activation decreased MKP-1 expression.However,upregulation of MKP-1 inhibited the expression of both Aβprecursor protein(APP)andβ-site APP-cleaving enzyme 1 by inactivating the extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK)/MAPK signaling pathway.Furthermore,upregulation of MKP-1 reduced Aβproduction and plaque formation and improved hippocampal long-term potentiation(LTP)and cognitive deficits in APP/PS1 transgenic mice.Our results demonstrate that MKP-1 impairment facilitates the pathogenesis of AD,whereas upregulation of MKP-1 plays a neuroprotective role to reduce Alzheimer-related phenotypes.Thus,this study suggests that MKP-1 is a novel molecule for AD treatment. | Yehong Du Yexiang Du Yun Zhang Zhilin Huang Min Fu Junjie Li Yayan Pang Peng Lei Yu Tian Wang Weihong Song Guiqiong He Zhifang Dong | 2019 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019，4，1： | 2 |
