| 1 | Dynamics of NDVI and its influencing factors in the Chinese Loess Plateau during 2002-2018显示文摘Understanding the spatio-temporal changes of vegetation and its climatic control factors can provide an important theoretical basis for the protection and restoration of eco-environments.In this study,we analyzed the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)in the Chinese Loess Plateau(CLP)from 2002 to 2018 via trend analysis, stability analysis, and Mann-Kendall mutation test to investigate the change of vegetation. In addition,we also used the skewness analysis and correlation analysis to explore the contribution of climate change and human activities on regional vegetation changes. The results indicated that the overall increasing trend of NDVI from 2002 to 2018 was significant The areas showing increased NDVI were mainly distributed in the south-eastern CLP and the irrigation districts of the Yellow River to the north and west of the CLP,while the areas showing decreased NDVl were concentrated in the desert of the westem Ordos Plateau,Longzhong Loess Plateau, and the built-up and adjacent areas.Precipitation was the dominant factor contributing to vegetation growth in the CLP,while vegetation was less dependent onprecipitation in the irigation districts. The increasement of NDVI has led to a prolonged responsetime of vegetation to water stress and a lag effect of less than two months in the CLP.The effect of temperature on NDVI was not significant;significant negative correlations between NDVI and temperature were found only in the desert, the Guanzhong Plain, the southem Liupan Mountains, and the southeastem Taihang Mountains, owing to high temperatures, urban heat islands, and large cloud cover in mountainous areas.Affected by the'Grain for Green Program'(GGP),NDVIin the CLP increased from 2002 to 2018;however,the increasing trends of NDNI for differentvegetation cover types were significantly different owing to the difference in background status. The increasing contribution rate of NDVI in the CLP mainly came from crops and steppes.Urban not only led to the destruction of vegetation but also had radiation effect causing negative impact of NDVI around the cities. This resulted in the aggravation of the negative bias of NDVI with time in the CLP.The results provide a long-term perspective for regional vegetation protection and utilization in the CLP. | Peng He Lishuai Xu Zhengchun Liu Yaodong Jing Wenbo Zhu | 2021 | Regional Sustainability2021,2,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Improved production of docosahexaenoic acid in batch fermentation by newly-isolated strains of Schizochytrium sp.and Thraustochytriidae sp.through bioprocess optimization显示文摘Thraustochytrids, rich in docosahexaenoic acid(DHA,C22:6u3),represent a potential source of dietary fatty acids.Yet,the effect of culture conditions on growth and fatty acid composition vary widely among different thraustochytrid strains. Two different thraustochytrid strains,Schizochytrium sp.PKU#Mn4 and Thraustochytriidae sp.PKU#Mn16 were studied for their growth and DHA production characteristics under various culture conditions.Although they exhibited similar fatty acid profiles,PKU#Mn4 seemed a good candidate for industrial DHA fermentation while PKU#Mn16 displayed growth tolerance to a wide range of process conditions.Relative DHA content of 48.5%and 49.2%(relative to total fatty acids),respectively, were achieved on glycerol under their optimal flask culture conditions.Maximum DHA yield(Yp/x)of 21.0%and 18.9%and productivity of 27.6 mg/L-h and 31.9 mg/L-h were obtained, respectively,in 5-L bioreactor fermentation operated with optimal conditions and dual oxygen control strategy.A 3.4-and 2.8-fold improvement of DHA production(g/L),respectively,was achieved in this study.Overall, our study provides the potential of two thraustochytrid strains and their culture conditions for efficient production of DHA-rich oil. | Qiuzhen Wang Huike Ye Biswarup Sen Yunxuan Xie Yaodong He Sunghoon Park Guangyi Wang | 2018 | Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2018,3,2: | 4 |
| 3 | Rock roadway complementary support technology in Fengfeng mining district显示文摘This paper takes No.52 return uphill roadway of Yangquhe coal mine as a research project. Based on the research, especially its geological condition, indoor experiments, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis were employed to determine the difficult coefficients of Yangquhe project. By using these means, the difficult coefficients of the deep rock engineering were determined. From a study of the effects of crustal stress and the roof mechanism on roadway stability, the transformation mechanism in Yangquhe coal mine has been determined. As a result of this research, the interactive support technology of prestressed cable mesh was developed and the technology tested in mining engineering, which proved to be feasible. | Zeng Xiantao Jiang Yaodong Jiang Cong Ma Zhenqian Zhan Shaojian Zhang Kexue He Changhai | 2014 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,6: | 3 |
| 4 | Combined action of MK-801 and ceftriaxone impairs the acquisition and reinstatement of morphine-induced conditioned place preference, and delays morphine extinction in rats显示文摘Objective It is well established that glutamate and its receptors, particularly the N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR), play a significant role in addiction and that the inhibition of glutamatergic hyperfunction reduces addictive behaviors in experimental animals. Specifically, NMDAR antagonists such as MK-801, and an inducer of the expression of glutamate transporter subtype-1 (GLT-1) (ceftriaxone) are known to inhibit addictive behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the combined action of a low dose of MK-801 and a low dose of ceftriaxone provides better inhibition of the acquisition, extinction, and reinstatement of morphine-induced conditioned place preference (CPP) than either compound alone. Methods A morphine-paired CPP experiment was used to study the effects of low doses of MK-801, ceftriaxone and a combination of both on reward-related memory (acquisition, extinction, and reinstatement of morphine preference) in rats. Results A low dose of neither MK-801 (0.05 mg/kg, i.p.) nor ceftriaxone (25 mg/kg, i.p.) alone effectively impaired CPP behaviors. However, when applied in combination, they reduced the acquisition of morphine-induced CPP and completely prevented morphine reinstatement. Their combination also notably impaired the extinction of morphine-induced CPP. Conclusion The combined action of a low dose of an NMDAR antagonist (MK-801) and GLT-1 activation by ceftriaxone effectively changed different phases of CPP behavior. | Yaodong Fan Haichen Niu Joshua D. | 5 | Characterization of deep ground geothermal field in Jiahe Coal Mine显示文摘Research into the characteristics of geothermal fields is important for the control of heat damage in mines. Based on measured geothermal data of boreholes from 200 m to 1200 m in a Jiahe Coal Mine, we demonstrate non-linear but increasing relations of both geo-temperatures and geothermal gradients with increases depth. Numerically, we fitted the relationship between geo-temperatures and depth, a first-order exponential decay curve, formulated as: T(h) = 4.975 + 23.08 exp(h/1736.1). | Zhang Yi Guo Dongming He Manchao Jiang Yaodong Yang Ching | 2011 | Mining Science and Technology2011,21,3: | 2 |
