| 2 | Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. | 3 | Development of pot-cover effect apparatus with freezing-thawing cycles显示文摘‘Pot-cover effect’ refers to the phenomenon of moisture accumulation beneath the pavement under condensation or desublimation because the vapor transfer in the soil is blocked by the pavement. To study this phenomenon in the laboratory, we have developed the pot-cover effect apparatus with freezing-thawing cycles(PEAFC), which consists of three parts, namely, the vapor transfer system, the temperature control system, and the temperature and water content monitoring system. The major functions of this apparatus include: simulation of both vapor transfer and freezing-thawing cycling in the soil, real-time monitoring of the temperature and the water content in soil samples, and one-dimensional heat and moisture transfer in the samples. The FDR(frequency domain reflectometry) sensors of the apparatus are calibrated and a calibration formula is proposed to eliminate the water content measurement errors induced by temperature changes. Constant temperature difference tests and a freezing-thawing cycling test are conducted with the apparatus. Results indicate that the apparatus can control the water replenishment in the soil samples, monitor the vapor transfer in the samples in real time, and simulate the vapor transfer process under the condition of the freezing-thawing cycling in the soil. | 11 | Ultrasonic cavitation-enabled microfluidic approach toward the continuous synthesis of cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals显示文摘Ligand assisted reprecipitation(LARP)is a widely used method for cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)synthesis.Nevertheless,the ultrafast kinetics of LARP,as well as the inefficient transport properties and discontinuity of batch reactors,challenge the particle size control and experimental repeatability.To address these issues,an ultrasonic cavitation-enabled microfluidic approach was developed to achieve the continuous synthesis of cesium lead halide perovskite via LARP.It was found that the mixing between the good solvent and antisolvent in the microchannel was greatly enhanced by intensive ultrasonic cavitation.The mixing time could be reduced to below 10 ms under the irradiation of 35 W ultrasound.By modulating the mixing degree,LARP was proved to be a mixing-sensitive process.The effects of ultrasonic power,ultrasonic treatment time,total flow rate,water additive,and reprecipitation temperature on the synthesis of CsPbBr_(3) NCs were systematically investigated.As compared to CsPbBr_(3) NCs synthesized in the batch reactor,the sample synthesized via the ultrasonic cavitation-enabled microfluidic approach possessed stronger photoluminescence intensity and better repeatability.Moreover,the ultrasonic cavitation-enabled microfluidic approach could also realize the continuous synthesis of cesium lead halide perovskite NCs with different halide compositions to cover a wide visible spectrum(426-661 nm).The ultrasonic cavitation-enabled microfluidic approach paved the way for the large-scale of high-quality cesium lead halide perovskite NCs. | Mingzhi Li Zhikai Liu Wang Yao Chao Xu Yangping Yu Mei Yang Guangwen Chen | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,59,7: | 0 |
| 12 | Interleukin 35 protects cardiomyocytes following ischemia/reperfusion-induced apoptosis via activation of mitochondrial STAT3显示文摘Mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(mtROS)-induced apoptosis has been suggested to contribute to myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury.Interleukin 35(IL-35),a novel anti-inflammatory cytokine,has been shown to protect the myocardium and inhibit mtROS production.However,its effect on cardiomyocytes upon exposure to hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)damage has not yet been elucidated.The present study aimed to investigate the potential protective role and underlying mechanisms of IL-35 in H/R-induced mouse neonatal cardiomyocyte injury.Mouse neonatal cardiomyocytes were challenged to H/R in the presence of IL-35,and we found that IL-35 dose dependently promotes cell viability,diminishes mtROS,maintains mitochondrial membrane potential,and decreases the number of apoptotic cardiomyocytes.Meanwhile,IL-35 remarkably activates mitochondrial STAT3(mitoSTAT3)signaling,inhibits cytochrome c release,and reduces apoptosis signaling.Furthermore,co-treatment of the cardiomyocytes with the STAT3 inhibitor AG490 abrogates the IL-35-induced cardioprotective effects.Our study identified the protective role of IL-35 in cardiomyocytes following H/R damage and revealed that IL-35 protects cardiomyocytes against mtROS-induced apoptosis through the mitoSTAT3 signaling pathway during H/R. | Fengyun Zhou Ting Feng Xiangqi Lu Huicheng Wang Yangping Chen Qiuxia Zhang Xinlu Zhang Jiancheng Xiu | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4: | 0 |

| 16 | Photometric analysis of a blue straggler eclipsing binary in the old open cluster NGC 2141显示文摘To understand the formation mechanism of blue stragglers in open clusters, we conducted a photometric analysis for a blue straggler eclipsing binary in the old open cluster NGC 2141. By using the least square fitting of times of minima, we derived the ephemeris and redetermined the orbital period of this system to be 0.6227 d. We have also done a photometric analysis for light curve with the Wilson-Devinney Code (2003). The photometric solutions reveal a semi-detached binary with the secondary component filling its Roche lobe. The photometric mass ratio M2/M1 (secondary/primary) was determined to be 0.190±0.002 and the ratio of V-band luminosity L2/L1(V) is about 0.033±0.001, which indicates the secondary component is overluminous.
