2Effects of organic acids on the leaching process of ion-adsorption type rare earth ore显示文摘To examine the activation of organic acids on the leaching process of ion-adsorption type rare earth ore(IRE-ore), the leaching behavior of rare earth(RE) and zeta potential of IRE-ore were investigated in the absence and presence of carboxylic acids. The results show that all the tested organic acids(acetic acid,malonic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, and malic acid) can promote RE extraction. At relatively high concentrations of organic acids, the activation efficiency of organic acids on RE extraction is generally consistent with their complexation ability; whereas at their low concentrations, the change of zeta potential on the IRE-ore surface with organic acid concentration and p H has a close association with RE extraction, which indicates that organic acids can impact the surface electrical property of IREore via their adsorption/desorption, and thereby increase/decrease the affinity of RE ions to IRE-ore.Therefore the influence of organic acids on the IRE-ore surface electrical property also plays an important role in RE extraction in addition to their complexation with RE ions.Li Wang Chunfa Liao Youming Yang Haibo Xu Yanfei Xiao Chunhua Yan 2017Journal of Rare Earths2017,35,12:23
3Recanalization of extracranial internal carotid artery occlusion A 12-year retrospective study显示文摘This study aimed to summarize therapy experience of carotid endarterectomy, carotid endarterec-tomy combined with Fogarty catheter embolectomy, and hybrid surgery for the treatment of extrac-ranial internal carotid artery occlusion. The study included 65 patients with extracranial internal ca-rotid artery occlusion who underwent carotid endarterectomy, carotid endarterectomy combined with Fogarty catheter embolectomy, or hybrid surgery in the Department of Neurosurgery, Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, China between January 2006 and December 2012. Prior to surgery, all patients underwent perfusion CT or xenon CT to evaluate the occlusion. The procedure for each patient was chosen according to digital subtraction angiography data. The carotid artery was successfully recanalized in 46 of 51 patients who underwent carotid endarterectomy, 9 of 10 patients who underwent carotid endarterectomy combined with Fogarty catheter embolectomy, and 3 of 4 patients who underwent hybrid surgery. 4Enhanced methane production in an anaerobic digestion and microbial electrolysis cell coupled system with co-cultivation of Geobacter and Methanosarcina显示文摘The anaerobic digestion(AD)and microbial electrolysis cell(MEC)coupled system has been proved to be a promising process for biomethane production.In this paper,it was found that by co-cultivating Geobacter with Methanosarcina in an AD–MEC coupled system,methane yield was further increased by 24.1%,achieving to 360.2 m L/g-COD,which was comparable to the theoretical methane yield of an anaerobic digester.With the presence of Geobacter,the maximum chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate(216.8 mg COD/(L·hr))and current density(304.3 A/m_3)were both increased by 1.3 and 1.8 fold compared to the previous study without Geobacter,resulting in overall energy efficiency reaching up to 74.6%.Community analysis demonstrated that Geobacter and Methanosarcina could coexist together in the biofilm,and the electrochemical activities of both were confirmed by cyclic voltammetry.Our study observed that the carbon dioxide content in total gas generated from the AD reactor with Geobacter was only half of that generated from the same reactor without Geobacter,suggesting that Methanosarcina may obtain the electron transferred from Geobacter for the reduction of carbon dioxide to methane.Taken together,Geobacter not only can improve the performance of the MEC system,but also can enhance methane production.Qi Yin Xiaoyu Zhu Guoqiang Zhan Tao Bo Yanfei Yang Yong Tao Xiaohong He Daping Li Zhiying Yan 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,4:9
5Recovery of rare earths from ion-absorbed rare earths ore with MgSO_4-ascorbic acid compound leaching agent显示文摘The magnesium sulfate leaching technology for the ion-absorbed rare earths ore can solve the ammonia pollution problem existing in ammonium sulfate leaching process. However, the leaching capacity of magnesium sulfate is slightly weaker than that of ammonium sulfate, resulting in a bigger consumption of magnesium sulfate. In this paper, the MgSO_4-ascorbic acid compound leaching agent had been demonstrated to deal with the ion-absorbed rare earths ore. The ascorbic acid could form a stable coordination with rare earth ions, so that it can strengthen the leaching of ion-exchangeable phase.Moreover, ascorbic acid has a strong reductive property, it can leach the colloidal sediment phase rare earth as well. The present study investigates the effect of the initial pH and the composition of leaching agent on the rare earth leaching. It is determined that the rare earth leaching efficiency is 107.5% under the condition of pH 2.00,0.15 mol/L magnesium sulfate and 1.0 g/L ascorbic acid in leaching agent. In this case, the content of the ion-exchangeable phase and colloidal sediment phase rare earth in the leaching residues are both only 0.02‰. The leaching efficiency of colloid sediment phase rare earth can be 85.7%,so that the Ce partition in the leaching liquor increases to be 5.77%. 6On the effective inversion by imposing a priori information for retrieval of land surface parameters显示文摘The anisotropy of the land surface can be best described by the bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF). As the field of multiangular remote sensing advances, it is increasingly probable that BRDF models can be inverted to estimate the important biological or climatological parameters of the earth surface such as leaf area index and albedo. The state-of-the-art of BRDF is the use of the linear kernel-driven models, mathematically described as the linear combination of the isotropic kernel, volume scattering kernel and geometric optics kernel. The computational stability is characterized by the algebraic operator spectrum of the kernel-matrix and the observation errors. Therefore, the retrieval of the model coefficients is of great importance for computation of the land surface albedos. We first consider the smoothing solution method of the kernel-driven BRDF models for retrieval of land surface albedos. This is known as an ill-posed inverse problem. The ill-posedness arises from that the linear kernel driven BRDF model is usually underdetermined if there are too few looks or poor directional ranges, or the observations are highly dependent. For example, a single angular observation may lead to an under-determined system whose solution is infinite (the null space of the kernel operator contains nonzero vectors) or no solution (the rank of the coefficient matrix is not equal to the augmented matrix). Therefore, some smoothing or regularization technique should be applied to suppress the ill-posedness. So far, least squares error methods with a priori knowledge, QR decomposition method for inversion of the BRDF model and regularization theories for ill-posed inversion were developed. In this paper, we emphasize on imposing a priori information in different spaces. We first propose a gen-eral a priori imposed regularization model problem, and then address two forms of regularization scheme. The first one is a regularized singular value decomposition method, and then we propose a retrieval method in l1 space. We show that the proposed method is suitable for solving land surface parameter retrieval problem if the sampling data are poor. 7Ln3+(Ln=Eu,Dy)-doped Sr2CeO4 fine phosphor particles:Wet chemical preparation,energy transfer and tunable luminescence显示文摘The Sr2 CeO4:Ln3+(Ln=Eu,Dy)fine phosphor particles were prepared by a facile wet chemical approach,in which the consecutive hydrothermal-combustion reaction was performed.The doping of Ln3+into Sr2 CeO4 has little influence on the structure of host,and the as-prepared samples display wellcrystallized spherical or elliptical shape with an average particle size at about 100-200 nm.For Eu3+ions-doped Sr2 CeO4,with the increase of Eu3+-doping concentration,the blue light emission band with the maximum at 468 nm originating from a Ce4+→O2-charge transfer of the host decreases obviously and the characteristic red light emission of Eu3+(5 D0→7 F2 transition at 618 nm)is enhanced gradually.Simultaneously,the fluorescent lifetime of the broadband emission of Sr2 CeO4 decreases with the doping of Eu3+,indicating an efficient energy transfer from the host to the doping Eu3+ions.The ene rgy transfer efficiency from the host to Eu3+was investigated in detail,and the emitting color of Sr2 CeO4:Eu3+can be easily tuned from blue to red by varying the doping concentration of Eu3+ions.Moreover,the luminescence of Dy3+-doped Sr2 CeO4 was also studied.Similar energy transfer pheno menon can be observed,and the incorporation of Dy3+into Sr2 CeO4 host leads to the characteristic emission of 4 F9/2→6 H15/2(488 nm,blue light)and 4 F9/2→6 H13/2(574 nm,yellow light)of Dy3+.The Sr2 CeO4:Ln3+fine particles with tunable luminescence are quite beneficial for its potential applications in the optoelectronic fields.Na Gao Yanfei Yang Shikao Shi Jiye Wang Shuping Wang Jibiao Li Lianshe Fu 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12:4
8Event-trigger-based consensus secure control of linear multi-agent systems under DoS attacks over multiple transmission channels显示文摘This paper proposes a consensus secure control scheme in the presence of denial-of-service(DoS)attacks based on an event-trigger mechanism. In contrast to a scenario in which attacks are the same and simultaneously paralyze all channels, the DoS attack addressed in this paper occurs aperiodically and results in the independent interruption of multiple transmission channels. A sufficient condition for the attack duration is designed and a distributed event-triggered control scheme is proposed, where the updated instants are triggered aperiodically to reduce the required communication resources. It is shown that the overall system is stable with the proposed scheme according to the Lyapunov stability theory and that Zeno behavior is excluded. 9Hydrothermal synthesis of monodisperse α-Fe_2O_3 hexagonal platelets显示文摘Uniformly sized α-Fe2O3 hexagonal platelets were synthesized by a hydrothermal process using Fe(OH)3 suspension and large amount of NaOH.The reaction products were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),selected area electron diffraction(SAED),and a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).The results show that the hexagonal platelets are fine,monodisperse and consisting of single-crystals.The magnetic hysteresis(M-H) curve of the samples measured at room temperature indicates that the α-Fe2O3 micro-platelets exhibit ferromagnetic behaviors with relatively low coercivity.Dengfeng Peng Sadeh Beysen Qiang Li Yanfei Sun Linyu Yang 2010Particuology2010,8,4:4
10Synergetic Improvement of Interlaminar Fracture Toughness in Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composites Interleaved with PES/PEK‑C Hybrid Nanofiber Veils显示文摘In this study,two types of soluble thermoplastic resins were added to epoxy resin at a fixed weight ratio to prepare a three-phase cast body.The cast was then manufactured into hybrid nanofiber as interleaves for interlaminar toughening of carbon fiber/epoxy resin(CF/EP)composites using a co-solvent method.The results revealed that when the hybrid components reached 15 wt%,Polyethersulfone(PES)and polyaryletherketone cardo(PEK-C)exhibited the best synergistic toughening effect,and the fracture toughness increased by 99.8%and 39.8%,respectively,compared with the reference or the same proportion of the single PES toughened sample.We used PES/PEK-C hybrid nanofibers with an areal density of 19.2 g per square meter(gsm)as composite toughening layers.Apart from the lack of significant influence of PES nanofiber on CF/EP composites,the interlaminar fracture toughness of mode I and mode II layers increased by 88.3%and 46.9%,respectively,compared to the reference sample.Scanning Electron Microscopy of the fracture surface and cross-section micromorphology of the laminate displayed that the thermoplastic microspheres of different sizes contribute differently to crack resistance:PEK-C consumes more energy due to the debonding and extraction of microspheres and resin,whereas the presence of the PES phase can induce more plastic deformation and crack deflection.Jinli Zhou Chenyu Zhang Chao Cheng Ming Wang Zhihui Yang Yanfei Yang Hongying Yang Muhuo Yu 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,5:3
11Preparation of polythiophene/WO_3 organic-inorganic hybrids and their gas sensing properties for NO_2 detection at low temperature显示文摘Polythiophene/WO3(PTP/WO3)organic-inorganic hybrids were synthesized by an in situ chemical oxidative polymerization method,and char- acterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and thermo-gravimetric analysis(TGA).The Polythiophene/ WO3 hybrids have higher thermal stability than pure polythiophene,which is beneficial to potential application as chemical sensors.Gas sensing measurements demonstrate that the gas sensor based on the Polythiophene/WO3 hybrids has high response and good selectivity for de- tecting NO2 of ppm level at low temperature.Both the operating temperature and PTP contents have an influence on the response of PTP/WO3 hybrids to NO2.The 10 wt%PTP/WO3 hybrid showed the highest response at low operating temperature of 70-C.It is expected that the PTP/WO3 hybrids can be potentially used as gas sensor material for detecting the low concentration of NO2 at low temperature.Jing Huan~ Yanfei Kang Taili Yang Yao Wang Shurong Wang 2011Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,4:2

13Grass phasiRNAs and male fertility显示文摘Recent studies have indicated that a special type of small noncoding RNAs, phased small-interfering RNAs(phasiRNAs) play crucial roles in many cellular processes of plant development. PhasiRNAs are generated from long RNA precursors at intervals of 21 or 24 nt in plants, and they are produced from both protein-coding gene and long noncoding RNA genes. Different from those in eudicots, grass phasiRNAs include a special class of small RNAs that are specifically expressed in reproductive organs.These grass phasiRNAs are associated with gametogenesis, especially with anther development and male fertility. 15A Novel Training Sequence Applied to DCS-Based Channel Estimation显示文摘Studies have indicated that the distributed compressed sensing based(DCSbased) channel estimation can decrease the length of the reference signals effectively. In block transmission, a unique word(UW) can be used as a cyclic prefix and reference signal. However, the DCS-based channel estimation requires diversity sequences instead of UW. In this paper, we proposed a novel method that employs a training sequence(TS) whose duration time is slightly longer than the maximum delay spread time. Based on proposed TS, the DCS approach perform perfectly in multipath channel estimation. Meanwhile, a cyclic prefix construct could be formed, which reduces the complexity of the frequency domain equalization(FDE) directly. 16Interfacial Built-In Electric Field-Driven Direct Current Generator Based on Dynamic Silicon Homojunction显示文摘Searching for light and miniaturized functional device structures for sustainable energy gathering from the environment is the focus of energy society with the development of the internet of things.The proposal of a dynamic heterojunction-based direct current generator builds up new platforms for developing in situ energy.However,the requirement of different semiconductors in dynamic heterojunction is too complex to wide applications,generating energy loss for crystal structure mismatch.Herein,dynamic homojunction generators are explored,with the same semiconductor and majority carrier type.Systematic experiments reveal that the majority of carrier directional separation originates from the breaking symmetry between carrier distribution,leading to the rebounding effect of carriers by the interfacial electric field.Strikingly,NN Si homojunction with different Fermi levels can also output the electricity with higher current density than PP/PN homojunction,attributing to higher carrier mobility.The current density is as high as 214.0 A/m^(2),and internal impedance is as low as 3.6 kΩ,matching well with the impedance of electron components.Furthermore,the N-i-N structure is explored,whose output voltage can be further improved to 1.3V in the case of the N-Si/Al2O3/N-Si structure,attributing to the enhanced interfacial barrier.This approach provides a simple and feasible way of converting low-frequency disordered mechanical motion into electricity.Yanghua Lu Qiuyue Gao Xutao Yu Haonan Zheng Runjiang Shen Zhenzhen Hao Yanfei Yan Panpan Zhang Yu Wen Guiting Yang Shisheng Lin 2020Research2020,,1:2
17Laser-driven plasma collider for nuclear studies显示文摘A novel method of initiating nuclear fusion reactions in a full plasma environment was suggested, and a proof-of-concept experiment was carried out with the D t D ! n t3 He reaction. In this new approach, two plasma jets generated by high-intensity lasers collide headon-head. The center-of-mass energy of the nuclei increases accordingly, and therefore, reaction products can be significantly enhanced, especially in the sub-Coulomb barrier ranges. As a result of the fusion reaction, up to 7:6 105 neutrons had been observed. 18Highly stable lithium anode enabled by self-assembled monolayer of dihexadecanoalkyl phosphate显示文摘Li has been considered as the ultimate anode material for high energy density secondary Li batteries.However,its practical application has been limited due to its low Coulombic efficiency(CE)and the formation of lithium dendrites.Recently,we have developed a microspherical Li-carbon nanotube(Li-CNT)composite material passivated with octadecylphosphonic acid(OPA)self-assembled monolayer(SAM)exhibiting suppressed lithium dendrite formation and improved environmental/electrochemical stability.In this work,we demonstrated the significantly enhanced passivation effects of a SAM using dihexadecanoalkyl phosphate(DHP),a molecule that is comprised of double hydrophobic alkyl chains and forms a denser SAM on surfaces with large curvature.As a result,the DHP SAM delivers superior environmental and electrochemical stability to the OPA passivated Li-CNT material.In specific,the DHP passivated Li-CNT composite(DHP-Li-CNT)delivers a high CE of 99.25%under a 33.3%depth of discharge(DOD)at 1 C,when it is paired with a LiFePO4 cathode.The evolution of the SAM during cycling and the effects of DOD and current density on the CE of the DHP-Li-CNT anode have also been investigated.The improved SAM passivation constitutes an important step in achieving the goal of practically applicable Li anodes.Lei Zheng Feng Guo Tuo Kang Jin Yang Ya Liu Wei Gu Yanfei Zhao Hongzhen Lin Yanbin Shen Wei Lu Liwei Chen 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:1
19Remote plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition of gallium oxide thin films with NH_3 plasma pretreatment显示文摘High quality gallium oxide(Ga_2O_3) thin films are deposited by remote plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition(RPEALD) with trimethylgallium(TMG) and oxygen plasma as precursors. By introducing in-situ NH3 plasma pretreatment on the substrates, the deposition rate of Ga_2O_3 films on Si and GaN are remarkably enhanced, reached to 0.53 and 0.46 ?/cycle at 250 °C,respectively. The increasing of deposition rate is attributed to more hydroxyls(–OH) generated on the substrate surfaces after NH3 pretreatment, which has no effect on the stoichiometry and surface morphology of the oxide films, but only modifies the surface states of substrates by enhancing reactive site density. Ga_2O_3 film deposited on GaN wafer is crystallized at 250 °C, with an epitaxial interface between Ga_2O_3 and GaN clearly observed.
