This article systematically reviews the key technical issues in producing large capacity aluminum alloy fuel tanks by using FSW,including tool design, FSW process optimization, nondestructive testing(NDT) techniques and defect repairing techniques, etc. To fulfill the requirements of Chinese aerospace industry, constant-force FSW,retractable tool FSW, lock joint FSW, on-line NDT and solid-state equal-strength FSW techniques, as well as a complete set of aerospace aluminum FSW equipment, have been successfully developed. | 6 | Antioxidant properties of magnesium lithospermate B contribute to the cardioprotection against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury in vivo and in vitro显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the cardioprotective effect of magnesium lithospermate B (MLB) on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R) injury and to investigate the antioxidant potential in vivo and in vitro. METHODS: MI/R injury was induced by the occlusion of left anterior descending coronary artery for 30 min followed by reperfusion for 3 h in rats. After reperfusion, hearts were harvested to assess infarct size, histopathological damages, the levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx), reduced glutathione (GSH) and malondialdehyde (MDA). Blood samples were col- lected to determine serum levels of creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB), cardiac troponin (cTnI) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). Furthermore, simulatedischemia/reperfusion (SI/R) injury in vitro was established by oxygen and glucose deprivation (OGD) for 2 h followed by 24-hour recovery period in cardiomyocytes. The activity of LDH in the cultured supernatant and the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), SOD and MDA in cardiomyocytes were also measured. Finally, cardiomyocytes apoptosis was determined with flow cytometry. RESULTS: MLB significantly limited infarct size, ameliorated histopathological damages and prevented leakage of CK-MB, cTnI and LDH. Additionally, SOD, CAT, GPx and GSH activities were notably increased by MLB, along with the MDA content decreased as compared with the model group in rats. In vitro study, MLB also decreased LDH activity in the cultured supernatant, increased SOD activity in cardiomyocytes, reduced intracellular ROS and MDA levels, and significantly suppressed cardiomyocytes apoptosis. CONCLUSION: MLB possessed remarkably cardioprotective effects on MI/R injury in vivo and in vitro. | 7 | Effects of dietary arginine levels on growth performance,body composition, serum biochemical indices and resistance ability against ammonia-nitrogen stress in juvenile yellow catfish(Pelteobagrus fulvidraco)显示文摘This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary arginine levels on growth performance, body composition, serum biochemical indices and resistance ability against ammonia-nitrogen stress in juvenile yellow catfish(Pelteobagrus fulvidraco). Five isonitrogenous and isolipidic diets(42%protein and 9% lipid) were formulated to contain graded levels of arginine(2.44%, 2.64%, 2.81%, 3.01% and3.23% of diet), by supplementing L-Arginine HCI. Seven hundred juvenile yellow catfish with an initial average body weight of 1.13 ± 0.02 g were randomly divided into 5 groups with 4 replicates of 35 fish each and each group was fed one of the diets. After 56 d feeding, fish were exposed to 100 mg/L of ammonia-nitrogen for 72 h. The results showed that weight gain(WG) and specific growth rate(SGR) in2.64% and 2.81% groups were significantly higher than those in 3.23% group(P < 0.05). The feed conversation ratio(FCR) in 2,64%, 2,81% and 3.01% groups was significantly decreased when compared with3,23% group. The protein efficiency ratio(PER) in 2.64% group was significantly higher than that in 2.44%and 3.23% groups(P < 0.05). The condition factor(CF) of fish was significantly higher in 2.81% group than that in 2,44% group(P < 0.05). Dietary arginine levels had no significant effect on hepatosomatic index(HSI), viscerosomatic index(VSI), and whole-body dry matter, crude protein, crude lipid, ash contents, as well as serum total protein(TP), triglyceride(TG), glucose(GLU), urea nitrogen(UN) contents and aspartate aminotransferase(AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) activities(P> 0.05). After the fish were challenged to ammonia-nitrogen for 72 h, their cumulative mortality rate in 2.81% group was significantly lower than that in 2.44% group(P < 0.05). The results suggested that dietary arginine level at 2.81%could optimize anti-ammonia-nitrogen stress ability of juvenile yellow catfish and a level of 3.23%arginine seemed to depress the growth performance of fish and decreased their tolerance to the ammonia-nitrogen stress under current study. | 8 | TSR promotes the formation of oil-cracking gases: Evidence from simulation experiments显示文摘TSR is an interaction between sulfate and hydrocarbons, occurring widely in carbonate reservoirs. Because this process can produce a large amount of noxious acidic gases like H2S, it has drawn seri- ous concern recently. This paper reports an experiment that simulated an interaction between different minerals and hydrocarbon fluids under different temperature and time using a confined gold-tube system. The results showed that the main mineral that initiates TSR is MgSO4, and adding a certain amount of NaCl into the reactive system can also promote TSR and yield more H2S. The H2S produced in TSR is an important incentive for the continuous oxidative degradation of crude oils. For instance, the yield of oil-cracking gases affected by TSR was twice of that not affected by TSR while the yield of TSR-affected methane was even higher, up to three times of that unaffected by TSR. The carbon iso- topes of wet gases also became heavier. All of the above illustrated that TSR obviously motivates the oxidative degradation of crude oils, which makes the gaseous hydrocarbon generation sooner and increases the gas dryness as well. | 9 | Discrimination of abiogenic and biogenic alkane gases显示文摘We have combined the analytical data of the carbon isotope distribution pattern, R/Ra and CH4/3He values of abiogenic and biogenic (referring to the thermogenic and bacterial or microbial) alkane gases in China with those of alkane gases from USA, Russia, Germany, Australia and other countries. | 10 | Error Modeling and Sensitivity Analysis of a Parallel Robot with SCARA(Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm) Motions显示文摘Parallel robots with SCARA(selective compliance assembly robot arm) motions are utilized widely in the field of high speed pick-and-place manipulation. Error modeling for these robots generally simplifies the parallelogram structures included by the robots as a link. As the established error model fails to reflect the error feature of the parallelogram structures, the effect of accuracy design and kinematic calibration based on the error model come to be undermined. An error modeling methodology is proposed to establish an error model of parallel robots with parallelogram structures. The error model can embody the geometric errors of all joints, including the joints of parallelogram structures. Thus it can contain more exhaustively the factors that reduce the accuracy of the robot. Based on the error model and some sensitivity indices defined in the sense of statistics, sensitivity analysis is carried out. Accordingly, some atlases are depicted to express each geometric error's influence on the moving platform's pose errors. From these atlases, the geometric errors that have greater impact on the accuracy of the moving platform are identified, and some sensitive areas where the pose errors of the moving platform are extremely sensitive to the geometric errors are also figured out. | 12 | SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating from K-bentonite in the top of Ordovician of Wangjiawan Section,Yichang,Hubei,China显示文摘The Global boundary Stratotype Section and Point (GSSP) for the base of the Hirnantian Stage (the latest stage of the Ordovician System) is defined at a point 0.39m below the base of the Kuanyinchiao Bed in the Wangjiawan North Section, which is the upper most 'golden spike' of the Ordovician. However, this 'golden spike' is lack of reliable geochronology data. This article gives a sensitive high resolution ion microprobe (SHRIMPII) zircon U-Pb dating for a K-bentonite sample from the Kuany-inchiao Bed in the Wangjiawan North Section. The age of the K-bentonite sample is 443.2±1.6 Ma, that is to say, the isotopic age of the uppermost of Hirnantian Stage, the point of Ordovician-Silurian boundary, should be near to, but slightly younger than 443.2±1.6 Ma. This age is identical to the Ordovi-cian-Silurian boundary age 443.7±1.5 Ma as declared by International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS). | 14 | The role of maize root size in phosphorus uptake and productivity of maize/faba bean and maize/wheat intercropping systems显示文摘Interspecific root/rhizosphere interactions affect phosphorus (P) uptake and the productivity of maize/faba bean and maize/wheat intercropping systems. The aim of these experiments was to determine whether manipulation of maize root growth could improve the productivity of the two intercropping systems. Two near isogenic maize hybrids (the larger-rooted T149 and smaller-rooted T222) were intercropped with faba bean and wheat, under conditions of high- and low-P availability. The larger-rooted T149 showed greater competitive ability than the smaller-rooted T222 in both maize/faba bean and maize/wheat intercropping systems. The higher competitive ability of T149 improved the productivity of the maize/faba bean intercropping system in P-sufficient conditions. In maize/wheat intercropping systems, root growth, shoot biomass, and P uptake of maize were inhibited by wheat, regardless of the P-supply. Compared with T222, the larger-rooted T149 suffered less in the intercropping systems. The total biomass of the maize/wheat intercropping system was higher for wheat/T149 than for wheat/T222 under low-P conditions. These data suggested that genetic improvement of maize root size could enhance maize growth and its ability to compete for P resources in maize/faba bean and maize/wheat intercropping systems. The Discrete Element Method (DEM) was used to simulate the screening process. A functional relationship between efficiency and the parameters, both singly and combined, is established. The function is a complicated exponential. Optimal amplitude and frequency values are smaller for particles near the mesh and larger for other particles. The optimum vibration angle is 45° for nearly all kinds of particles. A transverse velocity, V⊥, was defined and V⊥=0.2 m/s was identified to be the most efficient operating point by both simulation and experimental observation. | 19 | Synthesis and evaluation of cationic flocculant P(DAC-PAPTAC-AM) for flocculation of coal chemical wastewater显示文摘In this study,a high-efficiency cationic flocculant,P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM),was successfully prepared using UV-induced polymerization technology.The monomer Acrylamide(AM):Acryloxyethyl Trimethyl ammonium chloride(DAC):methacrylamido propyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(MAPTAC)ratio,monomer concentration,photoinitiator concentration,urea content,and cationic monomer DAC:MAPTAC ratio,light time,and power of highpressure mercury lamp were studied.The characteristic groups,characteristic diffraction peaks,and characteristic proton peaks of P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)were confirmed by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-Ray diffraction(XRD),1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer(1H NMR),and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The effects of dosage,pH value,and velocity gradient(G)value on the removal efficiencies of turbidity,COD,ammonia nitrogen,and total phenol by poly aluminum ferric chloride(PAFC),P(DACMAPTAC-AM),and PAFC/P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)in the flocculation treatment of coal chemical wastewater were investigated.Results showed that the optimal conditions for the flocculation of coal chemical wastewater using P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)alone are as follows:dosage of 8-12 mg/L,G value of 100-250 s^-1,and pH value of 4-8.The optimal dosage of PAFC is 90-150 mg/L with a pH of 2-12.The optimal dosage for PAFC/P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)is as follows:PAFC dosage of 90-150 mg/L,P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)dosage of 8-12 mg/L,and pH range of 2-6.When P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)was used alone,the optimal removal efficiencies of turbidity,COD,ammonia nitrogen,and total phenol were 81.0%,35.0%,75.0%,and 80.3%,respectively.PAFC has good tolerance to wastewater pH and good pH buffering.Thus,the flocculation treatment of coal chemical wastewater using the PAFC/P(DAC-MAPTAC-AM)compound also exhibits excellent resistance and buffering capacity. | Wenquan Sun Shengbao Zhou Yongjun Sun Yanhua Xu | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,1: | 11 |
| 20 | Novel method of improving the alignment accuracy of SINS on revolving mounting base显示文摘In the process of initial alignment for a strapdown inertial navigation system(SINS) on a stationary base,the east gyro drift rate is an important factor affecting the alignment accuracy of the azimuth misalignment angle.When the Kalman filtering algorithm is adopted in initial alignment,it yields a constant error in the estimation of the azimuth misalignment angle because the east gyro drift rate cannot be estimated.To improve the alignment accuracy,a novel alignment method on revolving mounting base is proposed.The Kalman filtering algorithm of extending the measured values is studied.The theory of spectral condition number is utilized to analyze the degrees of observability of states.Simulation results show that the estimation accuracy of the azimuth misalignment angle is greatly improved through revolving mounting base,and the proposed method is efficient in initial alignment for a medium accurate SINS. | Qian Weixing Liu Jianye Zhao Wei Zhu Yanhua | 2009 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,5: | 11 |
