| 1 | Study on pneumatic-fuel hybrid system based on waste heat recovery from cooling water of internal combustion engine显示文摘The paper proposes a novel pneumatic-fuel hybrid system,which combines a traditional internal combustion engine(ICE)and a pneumatic engine.One important merit of this concept is that the system can recover waste from cooling water of internal combustion engine to optimize the working process of pneumatic engine,and thus to improve the entire efficiency of the hybrid system.Meanwhile,energy-saving effect due to lower cooling fan power can be achieved on ICE by waste heat recovery of pneumatic engine.Based on thermodynamic analysis,an experimental system is designed and established for verification.The experimental results show that the performance of pneumatic engine is improved when the waste heat recovery concept of the hybrid system is applied.Then an application example on a 4-cylinder engine is analyzed and discussed using numerical simulation.The results show that the fan power of the ICE cooling system can be saved up to 50%by applying the hybrid system.Considering the appreciable improvements on the energy efficiency with only limited system modifications when the concept is applied to traditional ICE based power systems,the proposed hybrid concept has the potential to serve as an alternative technology aiming for energy saving and emission reduction. | FANG YiDong LI DaoFei FAN ZhiPeng XU HuanXiang WANG Lei YU XiaoLi | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,12: | 5 |

| 8 | Enhanced dynamic deformability and strengthening effect via twinning and microbanding in high density NiCoFeCrMoW high-entropy alloys显示文摘High density alloys with enhanced deformability and strength are urgently required in energy,military and nuclear industries,etc.In this work,we present a new kind of NiCoFeCrMoW high entropy alloys(HEAs)which possess higher densities and sound velocities than copper.We systematically investigate the phase structure,quasi-static tensile,dynamic compression and related deformation mechanism of these HEAs.It is shown that single FCC or FCC+μdual phases were formed in the HEAs depending on Mo and W content and annealing temperature.Excellent quasi-static tensile and dynamic compression properties have been achieved for these HEAs,e.g.Ni_(30)Co_(30)Fe_(21)Cr_(10)W_(9)HEA annealed at 1573 K exhibited a yield and ultimate tensile strength and elongation of~364 MPa,~866 MPa and~32%,respectively,in quasi-static test;a yield strength of~710 MPa and no fracture under the dynamic strain rate of 4100 s^(-1).Superior strain rate sensitivity(SRS)of yield strength than that of previously reported FCC HEAs have been evidenced.The dynamic stress-strain constitutive relation can be described by the modified Johnson-Cook model.As for the dynamic deformation mechanism,it is envisaged that the regulation of stacking fault energy and Peierls barrier in current HEAs resulted in occurrences of abundant nanoscale deformation twins and microbands during high strain rate compression.The synergistic microbanding and twinning effectively contributes to the enhanced dynamic deformability and strengthening effect.Besides,the interactions of dislocations with precipitates,stacking faults(SFs)with twins,and between SFs also contribute to extraordinary work-hardening capacity. | Xuli Liu Yidong Wu Yansong Wang Jinbin Chen Rui Bai Lei Gao Zhe Xu William Yi Wang Chengwen Tan Xidong Hui | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32: | 1 |

| 11 | Characterization of extracellular polymeric substances in the biofilms of typical bacteria by the sulfur K-edge XANES spectroscopy显示文摘A combined approach of physicochemical extraction and sulfur K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure(XANES) spectroscopy was applied to characterize the extracellular polymeric substances(EPS) of typical bacterial biofilms in this study. Physicochemical analysis showed variation of the contents of DNA,polysaccharide and protein in different fractions of EPS in different mediums. The sulfur K-edge XANES analysis yielded a variety of spectra.Spectral fitting of the XANES spectra utilizing a large set of model compounds showed that there was more reduced sulfur in both LB-EPS(loosely bound EPS) and TB-EPS(tightly bound EPS) of all the biofilms in LB medium than in R2 A medium. More oxidized sulfur was identified in LB-EPS than that in TB-EPS,suggesting different niches and physiological heterogeneity in the biofilms. | 16 | GSTAR:an innovative software platform for processing space geodetic data at the observation level显示文摘To meet the demands for the data combination with multiple space geodetic techniques at the observation level,we developed a new software platform with high extensibility and computation efficiency,named space Geodetic SpatioTemporal data Analysis and Research software(GSTAR).Most of the modules in the GSTAR are coded in C++with object-oriented programming.The layered modular theory is adopted for the design of the software,and the antenna-based data architecture is proposed for users to construct personalized geodetic application scenarios easily.The initial performance of the GSTAR software is evaluated by processing the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)data collected from 315 globally distributed stations over two and a half years.The accuracy of GNSS-based geodetic products is evaluated by comparing them with those released by International GNSS Service(IGS)Analysis Centers(AC).Taking the products released by European Space Agency(ESA)as reference,the Three-Dimension(3D)Root-Mean-Squares(RMS)of the orbit differences are 2.7/6.7/3.3/7.7/21.0 cm and the STandard Deviations(STD)of the clock differences are 19/48/16/32/25 ps for Global Positioning System(GPS),GLObal NAvigation Satellite System(GLONASS),Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo),BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),Medium Earth Orbit(MEO),and BDS Inclined Geo-Synchronous Orbit(IGSO)satellites,respectively.The mean values of the X and Y components of the polar coordinate and the Length of Day(LOD)with respect to the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service(IERS)14 C04 products are-17.6 microarc-second(μas),9.2μas,and 14.0μs/d.Compared to the IGS daily solution,the RMSs of the site position differences in the north/east/up direction are 1.6/1.5/3.9,3.8/2.4/7.6,2.5/2.4/7.9 and 2.7/2.3/7.4 mm for GPS-only,GLONASS-only,Galileo-only,and BDS-only solution,respectively.The RMSs of the differences of the tropospheric Zenith Path Delay(ZPD),the north gradients,and the east gradients are 5.8,0.9,and 0.9 mm with respect to the IGS products.The X and Y components of the geocenter motion estimated from GPS-only,Galileo-only,and BDS-only observations well agree with IGS products,while the Z component values are much nosier where anomalous harmonics in GNSS draconitic year can be found.The accuracies of the above products calculated by the GSTAR are comparable with those from different IGS ACs.Compared to the precise scientific orbit products,the 3D RMS of the orbit differences for the two Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment Follow-on(GRACE-FO)satellites is below 1.5 cm by conducting Precise Point Positioning with Ambiguity Resolution(PPP-AR).In addition,a series of rapid data processing algorithms are developed,and the operation speed of the GSTAR software is 5.6 times faster than that of the Positioning and Navigation Data Analyst(PANDA)software for the quad-system precise orbit determination procedure. | Chuang Shi Shiwei Guo Lei Fan Shengfeng Gu Xinqi Fang Linghao Zhou Tao Zhang Zhen Li Min Li Wenwen Li Cheng Wang Yidong Lou | 2023 | Satellite Navigation2023,4,3: | 0 |

| 19 | A facile construction of heterostructured ZnO/Co_(3)O_(4) mesoporous spheres and superior acetone sensing performance显示文摘The rapid development of internet and internet of things brings new opportunities for the expansion of intelligent sensors,and acetone as a major disease detection indicator(i.e.,diabetes)making it become extremely important clinical indicator.Herein,uniform mesoporous ZnO spheres were successfully synthesized via novel formaldehyde-assisted metal-ligand crosslinking strategy.In order to adjust the pore structure of mesoporous ZnO,various mesoporous ZnO spheres were synthesized by changing weight percentage of Zn(NO_(3))_(2)·6 H_(2)O to tannic acid(TA).Moreover,highly active heterojunction mesoporous ZnO/Co_(3)O_(4)has been fabricated based on as-prepared ultra-small Co_(3)O_(4)nanocrystals(ca.3 nm)and mesoporous ZnO spheres by flexible impregnation technique.Profit from nano-size effect and synergistic effect of p-n heterojunction,mesoporous ZnO/Co_(3)O_(4)exhibited excellent acetone sensing performance with high selectivity,superior sensitivity and responsiveness.Typically,5 wt%Co_(3)O_(4)embedded mesoporous ZnO sphere showed prominent acetone response(ca.46 for 50 ppm),which was about 11.5 times higher than that in pure ZnO sensing device,and it was also endowed high cyclic stability.The nanocrystals embedded hybrid material is expected to be used as promising efficient material in the field of catalysis and gas sensing. | Mengli Lei Xinran Zhou Yidong Zou Junhao Ma Fahad AAlharthi Abdulaziz Alghamdi Xuanyu Yang Yonghui Deng | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,6: | 0 |
