1Microstructure, Mechanical Properties, Corrosion Behavior and Biocompatibility of As-Extruded Biodegradable Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn Alloy显示文摘The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of biodegradable Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloys were investigated by the optical microscopy, X-ray diffractometer and a universal material testing machine.The corrosion and degradation behaviors were studied by potentiodynamic polarization method and immersion test in a simulated body fluid(SBF). It was found that the as-extruded Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloy has the fine equiaxed grains which underwent complete dynamic recrystallization during the hot extrusion process, with the second phase particles of Mg_2Sn precipitated on the grain boundaries and inside the grains. The tensile strength and elongation of as-extruded Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloys were 244 ± 3.7 MPa and 19.3% ± 1.7%, respectively. The potentiodynamic polarization curves in SBF solution indicated the better corrosion resistance of the as-extruded Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloy in the SBF solution. Immersion test in the SBF solution for 720 h revealed that the corrosion rate of as-extruded Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloy was nearly 4 ± 0.33 mm/year. The hemolysis rate of as-extruded Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloy was lower than the safe value of 5% according to ISO 10993-4. As-extruded Mg–3Sn–1Zn–0.5Mn alloy showed good biocompatibility after being implanted into the dorsal muscle and the femoral shaft of the rabbit, and no abnormalities were found after short-term implantation. 2Comparison of the short-term and long-term outcomes of laparoscopic hysterectomies and of abdominal hysterectomies: a case study of 4,895 patients in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China显示文摘Background: To evaluate the short-term and long-term outcomes after laparoscopic hysterectomy(LH) compared with abdominal hysterectomy(AH) in case of benign gynecological disease. Methods: A multi-center cohort retrospective comparative study of population among 4,895 hysterectomies(3,539 LH vs.1,356 AH) between 2007 and 2013 was involved. Operative time(OT), estimated blood loss(EBL), intra-operative and post-operative complications, passing flatus; days with indwelling catheter, questionnaires covering pelvic floor functions and sexual functions were assessed.Results: The EBL(174.1±157.4 vs. 263.1±183.2 cc, LH and AH groups, respectively), passing flatus(38.7±14.1 vs. 48.1±13.2 hours), days with indwelling catheter(1.5±0.6 vs. 2.2±0.8 days), use of analgesics(6.5% vs. 73.1%), intra-operative complication rate(2.4% vs. 4.1%), post-operative complication rate(2.3% vs. 5.7%), post-operative constipation(12.1% vs. 24.6%), mild and serious stress urinary incontinence(SUI) post-operative(P<0.001; P=0.014), and proportion of Female Sexual Functioning Index(FSFI) total score <26.55 post-operative(P<0.001) of the LH group were significantly less than those of AH group. There wereno significant differences in OT(106.5±34.5 vs. 106.2±40.3 min) between the two groups.Conclusions: LH is a safe and efficient operation for improving patients' long-term quality of life(Qo L), and LH is a cost-effectiveness procedure for treating benign gynecological disease. 3Comparative investigation on soil salinity leaching under subsurface drainage and ditch drainage in Xinjiang arid region显示文摘This study was carried out to explore the effects of leaching salinity under subsurface drainage and mulched drip irrigation on saline and alkaline land from the year 2012 to 2014 in Xinjiang Region of China.Three sampled points were both set up in the subsurface drainage and ditch drainage areas.Soil samples were obtained at varied depths.Through observing the underground water table under each sampled point and measuring the electrical conductivity(EC)of the soil extracts,the following results were obtained:(1)after draining,the underground water table ranged from 1.6 m to 2.2 m in the ditch drainage area,and ranged from 1.5 m to 2.2 m in the subsurface drainage area.Thus,both irrigations could control underground water table below 1.5 m which is deeper than the main water-absorbing layers of crop root systems;(2)for subsurface drainage,the closer to the pipe,the better to leach salinity;decreased from the initial 13.54-22.95 g/kg to 8.20-11.47 g/kg;(3)compared with the amounts in 2012,soil total salt at each sampling point at depths of 0-200 cm in subsurface drainage area decreased by 42.99%,36.84%and 24.41%respectively in 2014;and in ditch drainage area decreased by 46.85%,38.12%and 30.80%respectively in 2014.The results showed both ditch and subsurface drainage could leach salinity effectively.He Xinlin Liu Hongguang Ye Jianwei Yang Guang Li Mingsi Gong Ping Aernaguli Aimaiti 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,6:6
43D printing of high-performance micro-supercapacitors with patterned exfoliated graphene/carbon nanotube/silver nanowire electrodes显示文摘Micro-supercapacitors(MSCs)show great potential as on-chip energy storage devices for portable electronics.The major flaw of thin-film MSCs is their low energy density.To improve the energy density,thicker electrodes are required.However,the fabrication of MSCs with thick electrodes remains a challenge.In this work,a novel 3D printing method is employed to fabricate high-performance MSCs with interdigitated exfoliated graphene(EG)/carbon nanotube(CNT)/silver nanowire(Ag NW)electrodes.The nanowelding of Ag NW junction plays a critical role in the realization of 3D printing.To enhance the electrochemical performances of EG,phosphorus atoms are incorporated into the carbon framework with 1.7 at%.The areal capacitance of the 3D printed MSC is 21.6 mF cm^(-2)at a scan rate of 0.01 V s^(-1).The areal energy density of the MSC ranges from 0.5 to 2μWh cm^(-2)with a maximum power density of 2.5 mW cm^(-2).LIU Lang LU JunYong LONG XinLin ZHOU Ren LIU YingQuan WU YiTing YAN KangWei 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,5:4

6Construction of vesicle CdSe nano-semiconductors photocatalysts with improved photocatalytic activity:Enhanced photo induced carriers separation efficiency and mechanism insight显示文摘Visible-light-driven photocatalysis as a green technology has attracted a lot of attention due to its potential applications in environmental remediation. Vesicle Cd Se nano-semiconductor photocatalyst are successfully prepared by a gas template method and characterized by a variety of methods. The vesicle Cd Se nano-semiconductors display enhanced photocatalytic performance for the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride, the photodegradation rate of78.824% was achieved by vesicle Cd Se, which exhibited an increase of 31.779% compared to granular Cd Se. Such an exceptional photocatalytic capability can be attributed to the unique structure of the vesicle Cd Se nano-semiconductor with enhanced light absorption ability and excellent carrier transport capability. Meanwhile, the large surface area of the vesicle Cd Se nano-semiconductor can increase the contact probability between catalyst and target and provide more surface-active centers. The photocatalytic mechanisms are analyzed by active species quenching. It indicates that h+and UO_2^-are the main active species which play a major role in catalyzing environmental toxic pollutants. 7Control of morphology and structure of calcium carbonate crystals by heparin显示文摘Growth control of calcium carbonate crystal by organic chemicals contributes an important part to its mineralizing mechanism and biomimetic preparation. The influence of heparin (HEP) on morphology and structure of calcium carbonate generated by CaCl2/Na2CO3 solution was studied by a scanning electron microscope, an X-ray diffraction machine, a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer and a fluorescent spectrophotometer. The results showed that the calcite formed in the absence of HEP, while the addition of HEP induced changes in the morphology and structure of calcium carbonate crystals. In the presence of 2.5 mg/mL HEP, calcium carbonate was stimulated to grow orientationally, forming a spherical vaterite with a diameter of 1.5 μm. By X-ray diffraction, the contents of vaterite were counted to be 57.43% and 64.9% in the presence of 5 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL HEP, respectively. The resulted CaCO3/HEP microspheres achieved an 80% efficiency for HEP encapsulation. 8Effect of tetramethylpyrazine on the spatial learning and memory function of rats after focal cerebral ischemia显示文摘BACKGROUND: Tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) presents the effect of anti-platelet aggregation, reduces arterial resistance, increases cerebral blood flow, and improves microcirculation. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of TMP on the learning and memory abilities and the number of neurons in cortex and hippocampus after focal cerebral ischemia in rats DESIGN: A randomized controlled trial. SETTING: Department of Human Anatomy and Histological Embryology, School of Medicine, Xi’an Jiaotong University. MATERIALS: Fifty adult male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 250-300 g were supplied by the Experimental Animal Center, School of Medicine, Xi’an Jiaotong University. TMP was purchased from Wuxi Seventh Pharmaceutical Co.Ltd (Lot Number: 2004051106, Specification: 2 mL/piece). METHODS: The experiments were carried out in School of Medicine of Xi’an Jiaotong University from June 2004 to May 2005. The 50 rats were randomly divided into five groups according to the random number table method: sham-operated group, cerebral ischemia control group, low-dose TMP group, middle-dose TMP group and high-dose TMP group, 10 rats in each group. Rats in the TMP groups were immediately treated with intraperitoneal injection of TMP of 40, 80 and 120 mg/kg respectively, and those in the sham-operated group and cerebral ischemia control group were injected intraperitoneally by isovolume saline, once a day for 14 days successively. On the 15th day, the spatial learning and memory abilities of the rats were assessed with the Morris water maze test, and then the changes of neuron numbers in cortex and hippocampus were observed by Nissl staining of brain sections. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The results of Morris water maze test and the changes of neuron numbers in cortex and hippocampus by Nissl staining of brain sections were observed. RESULTS: Finally 39 rats were involved in the analysis of results, and the other 11 died of excessive anesthesia or failure in model establishment. ① The rats in the cerebral ischemia control group manifested obvious spatial cognitive deficits in the place navigation trial and spatial probe trial. The mean values of escape latency in the sham-operated group, low, middle and high-dose TMP groups were obviously shorter than that in the cerebral ischemia control group [(23.92±2.21), (41.84±3.74), (39.50±3.80), (31.38±3.72), (61.60±3.61) s, P < 0.05-0.01]. In the spatial probe trial, significant differences in the percentage of time spending in the former platform quadrant and frequency of crossing the former platform site in the sham-operated group, lose, middle and high-dose TMP groups were obviously higher or more than those in the cerebral ischemia control group [(36.27±3.42) %, (35.84±2.54)%, (38.43±3.08)%, (36.51±1.96)%, (22.24±3.46)%; (11±1), (10±1), (8±1), (8±1), (4±1) times, P < 0.01]. ② In the morphological observation, the numbers of neurons in ipsilateral (left) parietal cortex in the sham-operated group, low, middle and high-dose TMP groups were obviously more than that in the cerebral ischemia control group [(98±8), (65±5), (53±6), (57±6), (37±6)/0.625 mm2, P < 0.01], but the number of neurons in left hippocampus had no obvious differences among the groups (P > 0.05). 9Fabricated temperature sensitive photocatalyst of PNIPAM@ZnO/C for controllable photocatalytic activity显示文摘PNIPAM@ZnO/C composite photocatalyst was prepared by cross-linking polymerization technology with N-isopropylacrylamide used as functional monomer, N,N'-methylenebis(acrylamide) used as crosslinking agent, ammonium persulfate used as initiator, and 3-(trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate used as surface modification reagent. The morphology, structure, electrochemical and photocatalytic properties of as-prepared samples were characterized via the serial tests. The temperature-response performances of PNIPAM@ZnO/C were evaluated by the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline(TC)under different temperatures. The results show that the synthesized composite photocatalysts possess the excellent and switchable photocatalytic activity. 10ALK gene expression status in pleural effusion predicts tumor responsiveness to crizotinib in Chinese patients with lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective: The relationship between anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK) expression in malignant pleural effusion(MPE) samples detected only by Ventana immunohistochemistry(IHC) ALK(D5F3) and the efficacy of ALKtyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy is uncertain.Methods: Ventana anti-ALK(D5F3) rabbit monoclonal primary antibody testing was performed on 313 cell blocks of MPE samples from Chinese patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma, and fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) was used to verify the ALK gene status in Ventana IHC ALK(D5F3)-positive samples. The follow-up clinical data on patients who received crizotinib treatment were recorded.Results: Of the 313 MPE samples, 27(8.6%) were confirmed as ALK expression-positive, and the Ventana IHC ALK(D5F3)-positive rate was 17.3%(27/156) in wild-type epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) MPE samples. Twenty-three of the 27 IHC ALK(D5F3)-positive samples were positive by FISH. 15Terrestrial water storage variation in Hebei plain area of China,based on ground surface gravimetry显示文摘Variation of terrestrial water storage in the Hebei plain area from March 2010 to June 2014 was studied using ground gravimetry combined with vertical displacement data from the Global Navigation Satellite System.Results show that observed gravity variation in this area increased continuously,basically reflecting a trend toward land subsidence.With the effect of this subsidence removed,a dominantnegative change in gravity variation was evident,reflecting an average rate of decrease in terrestrial water in this area of 0.10±0.053 m/y,and this is equivalent to a volume of 81.5±43.2×108 m^(3)and is consistent with the spatial distribution of groundwater change from measured hydrologic data.These results can be an essential reference and supplement for the study of terrestrial water variation in the Hebei plain area,and indicate that ground surface gravimetry can be used as an important mean for studying changes in terrestrial water.Hongtao Hao Hongliang Liu Xinlin Zhang Jin Wei Bin Zhao Minzhang Hu 2021Geodesy and Geodynamics2021,12,3:1

19Temporal and spatial distribution of metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 during development in the rat cortex and hippocampus显示文摘Metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) is expressed by neurons in zones of active neurogenesis and is involved in the development of neural stem cells in vivo and in vitro.We examined the expression of mGluR5 in the cortex and hippocampus of rats during various prenatal and postnatal periods using immunohistochemistry.During prenatal development,mGluR5 was primarily localized to neuronal somas in the forebrain.During early postnatal periods,the receptor was mainly present on somas in the cortex.mGluR5 immunostaining was visible in apical dendrites and in the neuropil of neurons and persisted throughout postnatal development.During this period,pyramidal neurons were strongly labeled for the receptor.In the hippocampal CA1 region,mGluR5 immunoreactivity was more intense in the stratum oriens,stratum radiatum,and lacunosum moleculare at P0,P5 and P10 relative to P60.mGluR5 expression increased significantly in the molecular layer and decreased significantly in the granule cell layer of the dentate gyrus at P5,P10 and P60 in comparison with P0.Furthermore,some mGluR5-positive cells were also bromodeoxyuridine-or NeuroD-positive in the dentate gyrus at P14.These results demonstrate that mGluR5 has a differential expression pattern in the cortex and hippocampus during early growth,suggesting a role for this receptor in the control of domain specific brain developmental events.Xinli Xiao Ming Hu Pengbo Yang Lin Zhang Xinlin Chen Yong Liu 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,17:1
20Response of groundwater to the process of reservoirs group regulation and storage in Manas River Basin in Xinjiang显示文摘Reservoir regulation and storage is the main approach to alleviate the water pressure caused by the uneven spatial and temporal distribution of surface water resources in arid areas of northwest China.While the regulation and storage of the reservoir affect the conditions of recharge and discharge of groundwater,the process of regional surface-groundwater transformation tends to be complicated.The Manas River basin that lies on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain in Northwest China was taken in this study as a case.A numerical model of groundwater in basin plain area was established,and the influence of reservoir regulation on groundwater level was studied.The results showed that the total recharge of groundwater in the study area was 75.539 million m3,the total discharge of groundwater was 82.66 million m3,and the groundwater in the study area was in a negative equilibrium state,with a difference of-69.27 million m3.The water balance method was used to verify the comparison.The total recharge of groundwater was 74.34 million m3,the total discharge of groundwater was 80.726 million m3,and the calculation result of the numerical simulation of the supplementary displacement was 63.82 million m3,basically consistent with the calculation result of the water balance method.The reservoir storage method has obvious changes to the groundwater level around the reservoir.The simulation results of groundwater numerical model showed that when the reservoir was in normal operation,the leakage of the reservoir was 27.35 million m3;when the reservoir was operated at low water level,the leakage of the reservoir was the smallest,13.47 million m3.The reservoir has the largest amount of leakage of 41.85 million m3 when operated at water storage level.When the reservoir was operated at the lowest water level,the groundwater level around the reservoir was declining compare to the normal operating water level.The maximum drop of the groundwater observation well was 2.1 m,and the maximum monthly average was 0.99 m.When the reservoir was operating at the normal water storage level,the water level of the groundwater around the reservoir has increased compare to the normal operating water level.The maximum increase of the groundwater observation well was 1.5 m,and the maximum monthly average increase was 0.78 m.The influence of the reservoir on the groundwater level was 2000 m upstream and 12000 m downstream.The research conclusions can provide a scientific reference for the development,utilization and management of regional groundwater.Bing Liu Guang Yang Xinlin He 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,1:1
