| 4 | Experimental investigations on triggering characteristic of TVS under DC and AC load显示文摘Triggered vacuum switches(TVSs)have fast growing applications in the field of power system and pulse power.The relation between triggering parameters of triggering system,such as triggering voltage and triggering power,between the triggering time delay and its scatter of TVS had been obtained through series of experiments.The result can be adopted as the steering for high-power controller design and application of TVS.A steepened high-voltage triggering pulse is introduced in the main high-voltage generating circuit.As a result,the triggering time delay and its scatter can be decreased remarkably.Synchronous switch technology is imported to control the triggering phase at the crest of applied voltage on TVS.The Triggering characteristic of TVS under alternating current(AC)and direct current(DC)load has been investigated emphatically.Given the identical triggering parameter of triggering system,DC condition is prior to AC on the triggering probability and stability markedly.Such conclusion can be drawn,for AC condition,TVS would require much for the triggering system. | Xingming FAN Xin ZHANG | 2010 | Frontiers of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in China2010,5,2: | 0 |
| 5 | Bandgap characteristics of the two-dimensional missing rib lattice structure显示文摘In this paper,the bandgap characteristics of a missing rib lattice structure composed of beam elements are investigated by using the Floquet-Bloch theorem.The tuning of the width and position of the bandgap is achieved by changing the local structural parameters,i.e.,the rotation angle,the short beam length,and the beam thickness.In order to expand the regulation of the bandgap,the influence of the material parameters of the crossed long beams inside the structure on the bandgap is analyzed.The results show that the mass density and stiffness of the structure have significant effects on the bandgap,while Poisson’s ratio has no effect on the bandgap.By analyzing the first ten bands of the reference unit cell,it can be found that the missing rib lattice structure generates multiple local resonance bandgaps for vibration reduction,and these bandgap widths are wider.The modal analysis reveals that the formation of the bandgap is due to the dipole resonance of the lattice structure,and this dipole resonance originates from the coupling of the bending deformation of the beam elements.In the band structure,the vibrational mode of the 9th band with a negative slope corresponds to a rotational resonance,which is different from that with the conventional negative slope formed by the coupling of two resonance modes.This study can provide a theoretical reference for the design of simple and lightweight elastic metamaterials,as well as for the regulation of bandgaps and the suppression of elastic waves. | Fan YANG Zhaoyang MA Xingming GUO | 2022 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,11: | 0 |
| 6 | Coupling Characteristics and Control of Dual Mechanical Port Machine with Spoke Type Permanent Magnet Arrangement显示文摘Dual mechanical port machine(DMPM), as a novel electromechanical energy conversion device, has attracted widespread attention. DMPM with spoke type permanent magnet arrangements(STPM-DMPM), which is one of several types of DMPM, has been of interest recently. The unique coupling characteristics of STPM-DMPM are beneficial to improving system performance, but these same characteristics increase the difficulties of control. Now there has been little research about the control of STPM-DMPM, and this has hindered its practical application. Based on a mathematical model of STPM-DMPM, the coupling characteristics and the merits and demerits of such devices are analyzed as applied to a hybrid system. The control strategies for improving the disadvantages and for utilizing the advantage of coupling are researched. In order to weaken the interaction effect of torque outputs in the inner motor and the outer motor that results from coupling in STPM-DMPM, a decoupling control method based on equivalent current control is proposed, and independent torque control for the inner motor and outer motor is achieved. In order to solve address the problem of adequately utilization of coupling, minimizing the overall copper loss of the inner motor and the outer motor of STPM-DMPM is taken as the optimization objective for optimal control, and the purpose of utilizing the coupling adequately and reasonably is achieved. The verification tests of the proposed decoupling control and optimal control strategies are carried out on a prototype STPM-DMPM, and the experimental results show that the interaction effect of torque outputs in the inner motor and the outer motor can be markedly weakened through use of the control method. The overall copper loss of the inner motor and the outer motor can be markedly reduced through use of the optimal control method, while the power output remains unchanged. A breakthrough in the control problem of STPM-DMPM is accomplished by combining the control methods. | 7 | ZmDRR206 functions in maintaining cell wall integrity during maize seedling growth and defense response to external stresses显示文摘Plants adaptively change their cell wall composition and structure during their growth,development,and interactions with environmental stresses.Dirigent proteins(DIRs)contribute to environmental adaptations by dynamically reorganizing the cell wall and/or by generating defense compounds.A maize DIR,ZmDRR206,was previously reported to play a dominant role in regulation of storage nutrient accumulation in endosperm during maize kernel development.Here we show that ZmDRR206 mediates maize seedling growth and disease resistance by coordinately regulating biosynthesis of cell wall components for cell-wall integrity(CWI)maintenance.Expression of ZmDRR206 was induced in maize seedlings upon pathogen infection.ZmDRR206 overexpression in maize resulted in reduced seedling growth and photosynthetic activity but increased disease resistance and drought tolerance,revealing a tradeoff between growth and defense.Consistently,ZmDRR206 overexpression reduced the contents of primary metabolites and down-regulated genes involved in photosynthesis,while increasing the contents of major cell wall components,defense phytohormones,and defense metabolites,and up-regulated genes involved in defense and cell-wall biosynthesis in seedlings.ZmDRR206-overexpressing seedlings were resistant to cell-wall stress imposed by isoxaben,and ZmDRR206 physically interacted with ZmCesA10,which is a cellulose synthase unit.Our findings suggest a mechanism by which ZmDRR206 coordinately regulates biosynthesis of cell-wall components for CWI maintenance during maize seedling growth,and might be exploited for breeding strong disease resistance in maize. | Tao Zhong Suining Deng Mang Zhu Xingming Fan Mingliang Xu Jianrong Ye | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,6: | 0 |
