1Hydrology and water resources variation and its response to regional climate change in Xinjiang显示文摘Based on the surface runoff, temperature and precipitation data over the last 50 years from eight representative rivers in Xinjiang, using Mann-Kendall trend and jump detection method, the paper investigated the long-term trend and jump point of time series, the surface runoff, mean annual temperature and annual precipitation. Meanwhile, the paper analyzed the relationship between runoff and temperature and precipitation, and the flood frequency and peak flow. Results showed that climate of all parts of Xinjiang conformably has experienced an increase in temperature and precipitation since the mid-1980s. Northern Xinjiang was the area that changed most significantly followed by southern and eastern Xinjiang. Affected by temperature and precipitation variation, river runoff had changed both inter-annually and intra-annually. The surface runoff of most rivers has increased significantly since the early 1990s, and some of them have even witnessed the earlier spring floods, later summer floods and increasing flood peaks. The variation characteristics were closely related with the replenishment types of rivers. Flood frequency and peak flow increased all over Xinjiang. 2Suppression of glutamate synthase genes significantly affects carbon and nitrogen metabolism in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘Rice (Oryza sativa) glutamate synthase (GOGAT,EC 1.4.1.14) enzymes have been proposed to have great potential for improving nitrogen use efficiency,but their functions in vivo and their effects on carbon and nitrogen metabolism have not been systematically explored.In this research,we analyzed transcriptional profiles of rice GOGAT genes using a genome-wide microarray database,and investigated the effects of suppression of glutamate synthase genes on carbon and nitrogen metabolism using GOGAT co-suppressed rice plants.Transcriptional profiles showed that rice GOGAT genes were expressed differently in various tissues and organs,which suggested that they have different roles in vivo.Compared with the wild-type,tiller number,total shoot dry weight,and yield of GOGAT co-suppressed plants were significantly decreased.Physiological and biochemical studies showed that the contents of nitrate,several kinds of free amino acids,chlorophyll,sugars,sugar phosphates,and pyridine nucleotides were significantly decreased in leaves of GOGAT co-suppressed plants,but the contents of free ammonium,2-oxoglutarate,and isocitrate in leaves were increased.We conclude that GOGATs play essential roles in carbon and nitrogen metabolism,and that they are indispensable for efficient nitrogen assimilation in rice.LU YongEn LUO Feng YANG Meng LI XiangHua LIAN XingMing 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,7:12
3An efficient rendering method for large vector data on large terrain models显示文摘This paper presents an efficient way to render large-scale vector maps on level-of-detail(LOD) digital elevation models(DEMs).By using the frame buffer and Voronoi diagram,we achieve a rapid simplification of large-scale vector maps while keeping their original topological relationships.With the simplified maps,we establish level-of-detail vector map models.In the detailed level,we use the stencil shadow volume approach to render the map accurately,and in the coarse level we use substitute techniques to render the map approximately yet more quickly.The method proposed in this paper is universally applicable to rendering vector maps on various LOD terrain models,and the overlaying performance is independent of the complexity of underlying terrain surfaces.By use of the view frustum culling and sub-region index techniques,the impact of complexity of vector maps is reduced,and the rendering time is restricted to a certain scope.Thereby,we can achieve seamless and rapid rendering of large-scale vector maps on LOD terrain surfaces.YANG Ling ZHANG LiQiang KANG ZhiZhong XIAO ZhiQiang PENG JunHuan ZHANG XingMing LIU Liu 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6:11

5Web-based visualization of spatial objects in 3DGIS显示文摘Adaptive rendering large and complex spatial data has become an important research issue in a 3DGIS application. In order to transmit the data to the client efficiently,this paper proposes a node-layer data model to manage the 3D scene. Because the large spatial data and limited network bandwidth are the main bottlenecks of web-based 3DGIS,a client/server architecture including progressive transmission methods and multiresolution representations,together with the spatial index,are developed to improve the performance. All this makes the application quite scalable. 6Quantum network coding for multi-unicast problem based on 2D and 3D cluster states显示文摘We mainly consider quantum multi-unicast problem over directed acyclic network, where each source wishes to transmit an independent message to its target via bottleneck channel. Taking the advantage of global entanglement state 2D and 3D cluster states, these problems can be solved efficiently. At first, a universal scheme for the generation of resource states among distant communication nodes is provided. The corresponding between cluster and bigraph leads to a constant temporal resource cost. Furthermore, a new approach based on stabilizer formalism to analyze the solvability of several underlying quantum multi-unicast networks is presented. It is found that the solvability closely depends on the choice of stabilizer generators for a given cluster state. And then, with the designed measurement basis and parallel measurement on intermediate nodes, we propose optimal protocols for these multi-unicast sessions. 7QTL mapping and QTL × environment interaction analysis of multi-seed pod in cultivated peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘To dissect the genetic mechanism of multi-seed pod in peanut, we explored the QTL/gene controlling multi-seed pod and analyzed the interaction effect of QTL and environment. Two hundred and forty eight recombinant inbred lines(RIL) from cross Silihong × Jinonghei 3 were used as experimental materials planted in 8 environments from 2012 to 2017. Three methods of analysis were performed. These included individual environment analysis, joint analysis in multiple environments, and epistatic interaction analysis for multi-seed pod QTL. Phenotypic data and best linear unbiased prediction(BLUP) value of the ratio of multi-seed pods per plant(RMSP) were used for QTL mapping. Seven QTL detected by the individual environmental mapping analysis and were distributed on linkage groups 1, 6, 9, 14, 19(2), and 21. Each QTL explained 4.42%–11.51% of the phenotypic variation in multi-seed pod, and synergistic alleles of5 QTL were from the Silihong parent. One QTL, explaining 4.93% of the phenotypic variation was detected using BLUP data, and this QTL mapped in the same interval as q RMSP19.1 detected in the individual environment analysis. Seventeen additive QTL were identified by joint analysis across multiple environments. A total of 43 epistatic QTL were detected by ICIM-EPI mapping in the multiple environment trials(MET) module, and involved 57 loci. Two main-effect QTL related to multi-seed pod in peanut were filtered. We also found that RMSP had a highly significant positive correlation with pod yield per plant(PY), and epistatic effects were much more important than additive effects. 8An improved line-of-sight method for visibility analysis in 3D complex landscapes显示文摘This paper presents an efficient method for implementing visibility analysis on complex landscapes based on an improved LOS (line of sight) algorithm. The method determines the viewshed by analyzing the geometric relationship between the target points and viewpoint. It differentiates the visibility of the target points by the elevation information. Eventually the visual results related to the given viewpoint are rendered on three-dimensional landscapes. The visibility of some target points is computed by comparing their elevations with the viewpoint's height, thus is able to enhance the efficiency of the visibility analysis. This method can not only be applied in the visibility analysis of forest scenes, but also used in the analysis of the urban environment. 9Heat dissipation characteristics of anode saturable reactors with high thermal conductivity epoxy resin used for ultra-high-voltage direct current converter valves显示文摘A saturable reactor is one of the important components of converter valves in high-voltage direct current transmission systems.With the ever-increasing capacities of converter valves,the heat losses generated by saturable reactors are also increasing.Thus,a thermal-fluid mechanics coupled heat dissipation model for saturable reactors is proposed.In order to study the factors affecting the thermal dissipation in the saturable reactor,the epoxy resin insulating layers with different thermal conductivity were considered in this work.The simulation results showed that the hot spots in the saturable reactor are on the iron core and close to the pipe inlet that most of the generated heat can be extracted by a cooling pipe and that the effect of heat dissipation can be improved by raising the thermal conductivity of the epoxy resin.The thermal conductivities of the epoxy resin used in the two reactors were 0.8 and 1.2 W/mK,respectively.The time dependence of the iron core temperature was in accordance with the simulation results and the maximum temperatures of the saturable reactor were also consistent with the simulation results.By increasing the thermal conductivity of the epoxy insulation layer,the temperature of the iron core could be significantly reduced.Yang Wei Chen WeiJiang Zhou Yuan Zhang Chong Zhang Zhuo Chen Xin Zhao YuShun Bian XingMing 2020High Voltage2020,5,5:2
10Performance of silicone rubber composites using boron nitride to replace alumina tri‐hydrate显示文摘Boron nitride(BN)has attracted increasing attention as a filler using in insulating ma-terials.In this work,by using an equal amount of BN to replace alumina tri‐hydrate(ATH),various SR/BN/ATH composites were prepared,and for comparison,vinyl tri‐methoxysilane(VTMS)was added to prepare SR/BN/ATH‐VTMS composites.With the increasing BN content,Shore A hardness,breakdown strength and thermal conductivity of the silicone rubber(SR)composites increased despite the tensile strength slightly reduced.By replacing all the ATH with BN,the SR composite showed a∼47%increase in breakdown strength,reaching 33.8 kV mm1.The lower dielectric constant and dielectric loss were found for the SR composites with higher BN content,while the decreased dielectric loss and increased dielectric constant were achieved by the intro-duction of VTMS.Owing to the improved filler‐rubber interfacial interactions by adding VTMS,with the same BN content,all the SR/BN/ATH‐VTMS composites exhibited better property than the SR/BN/ATH composites.The best thermal conductivity of the SR composite reached 0.448 Wm1 K1,∼156%higher than that of the ATH filled SR composite.Xin Chen Jiaqi Wang Chong Zhang Wei Yang Jun Lin Xingming Bian Shaojian He 2021High Voltage2021,6,3:2
