| 2 | The lifestyle transition of Arthrobotrys oligospora is mediated by microRNA-like RNAs显示文摘The lifestyle transition of fungi,defined as switching from taking organic material as nutrients to pathogens,is a fundamental phenomenon in nature.However,the mechanisms of such transition remain largely unknown.Here we show microRNA-like RNAs(milRNAs)play a key role in fungal lifestyle transition for the first time.We identified milRNAs by small RNA sequencing in Arthrobotrys oligospora,a known nematode-trapping fungus.Among them,7 highly expressed milRNAs were confirmed by northern-blot analysis.Knocking out two milRNAs significantly decreased A.oligospora’s ability to switch lifestyles.We further identified that two of these milRNAs were associated with argonaute protein QDE-2 by RNA-immunoprecipitation(RIP)analysis.Three of the predicted target genes of milRNAs were found in immunoprecipitation(IP)products of QDE-2.Disruption of argonaute gene qde-2 also led to serious defects in lifestyle transition.Interestingly,knocking out individual milRNAs or qde-2 lead to diverse responses under different conditions,and qde-2 itself may be targeted by the milRNAs.Collectively,it indicates the lifestyle transition of fungi is mediated by milRNAs through RNA interference(RNAi)machinery,revealing the wide existence of miRNAs in fungi kingdom and providing new insights into understanding the adaptation of fungi from scavengers to predators and the mechanisms underlying fungal infections. | Xinglai Ji Heng Li Weihua Zhang Jiai Wang Lianming Liang Chenggang Zou Zefen Yu Shuqun Liu Ke-Qin Zhang | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,4: | 4 |
| 3 | Structural stability and magnetism of metastable Ni-Pt intermetallic compounds studied by ab initio calculation显示文摘The self-consistent electronic structure calculations were carried out with the accurate frozen-core full-potential projector augmented-wave method on 13 Ni-Pt intermetallic compounds of simple crystalline structures,i.e. A15,D019,D03 and L12 Ni3Pt and NiPt3,and α-NiAs,B1,B2,L2a,and L10 NiPt. The calculations reveal that the L12 Ni3Pt,L10 NiPt and L12 NiPt3 are energetically more stable than their respective competitive structures,indicating that the three structures may be formed in some appropriate conditions. The obtained results match well with the experimental observation or other theory predictions. | 4 | In-situ synthesis of TiO_2 nanostructures on Ti foil for enhanced and stable photocatalytic performance显示文摘TiO_2 nanostructures with strong interfacial adhesion and diverse morphologies have been in-situ grown on Ti foil substrate through a multiple-step method based on conventional plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO) technology, hydrothermal reaction and ion exchange process. The PEO process is critical to the formation of TiO_2 seeding layer for the nucleation of Na_2Ti_3O_7 and H_2Ti_3O_7 mediates that are strongly attached to the Ti foil. An ion exchange reaction can finally lead to the formation of H_2Ti_3O_7 nanostructures with diverse morphologies and the calcination process can turn the H_2Ti_3O_7 nanostructures into TiO_2 nanostructures with enhanced crystallinity. The morphology of the TiO_2 nanostructures including nanoparticles(NP), nanowhiskers(NWK), nanowires(NW) and nanosheets(NS) can be easily tailored by controlling the NaOH concentration and reaction time during hydrothermal process. The morphology, composition and optical properties of TiO_2 photocatalysts were analyzed using scanning electron microscope(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy and UV–vis absorption spectrum. Photocatalytic tests indicate that the TiO_2 nanosheets calcined at 500?C show good crystallization and the best capability of decomposing organic pollutants. The decoration of Ag cocatalyst can further improve the photocatalytic performance of the TiO_2 nanosheets as a result of the enhanced charger separation efficiency. For all the SARS-CoV associated proteins derivatedfrom the SARS-CoV genome, the physiochemical propertiessuch as the molecular weight, isoelectric point and extinction coefficient of each protein were calculated. Thetransmembrane segments and subcellular localization(SubLocation) prediction and conserved protein motifssearch against database were employed to analyze thefunction of SARS-CoV proteins. Also, the homology protein sequence alignment and evolutionary distance matrixcalculation between SARS-CoV associated proteins and the corresponding proteins of other coronaviruses wereemployed to identify the classification and phylogeneticrelationship between SARS-CoV and other coronaviruses.The results showed that SARS-CoV is a novel coronavirus which is different from any of the three previously knowngroups of coronviruses, but it is closer to BoCoV and MHV than to other coronaviruses. In this paper, a novel promising Ba_(2-x)Ca_xSiO_(4-y)N_(2/3y):Eu^(2+) tphosphors with tunable and enhanced luminescence for phosphors converted LEDs(pc-LEDs) have been successfully synthesized by a direct gas-reduction nitridation method. The effects of Ca and N doping on the phase purity, morphology and optical properties of Ba_(2-x)Ca_xSiO_(4-y)N_(2/3y):Eu^(2+) tphosphors were also systematically investigated. The optical results show that Ba_(2-x)Ca_xSiO_(4-y)N_(2/3y):Eu^(2+) tphosphors can be actively excited over a broad range from 250 to430 nm. With the adding of different concentrations of Ca^(2+) tions in phosphors, the emission color wavelength can be tailored from 501 to 441 nm by a 375 nm NUV LED excitation source. Furthermore, it has been found that the emission and absorption of Ba_(2-x)Ca_xSiO_(4-y)N_(2/3y) tphosphor can be significantly improved when N^(3-) ions were introduced into the host lattices. The intensity of Ba_(1.5)Ca_(0.5)SiO_(4-y)N_(2/3y):Eu^(2+) tphosphor was 3.4 times higher than the phosphor without N doping. | 17 | 贝叶斯概率递减曲线分析量化页岩气储量不确定性显示文摘近年来,人们针对页岩气井产量预测建立了多种解析递减曲线模型(Anderson等,2010;11k等2008;Valko和Lee2010)。页岩气产量预测存在相当大的不确定性,但这些作者要么没有量化页岩气井储量的不确定性,要么无法证实其概率预测结果得到了很好的标定。Jochen和Spivev(1996)和Cheng等(2010)开发出了可以开展概率递减预测和量化储量不确定性的自助法(bootstrap method)。采用改进型自助法(Cheng等,2010)开展预测能够很好地反映真实的储量。但由于需要为每口井都开展数百次的牛顿迭代(Newton Iteration),其时间效率比较低。在本次研究中,我们针对概率递减曲线分析引入了贝叶斯法,用于快速可靠地量化储量不确定性,而且无需修改历史产量数据。我们通过分析巴奈特页岩区带中生产历史在7年以上的167口水平井,验证了这种方法的有效性。在贝叶斯方法中,递减曲线参数qi、D.和b被假定为随机变量,而非为获得最佳拟合效果而需进行修改的参数。采用带Metropolis算法的McMc建立了递减曲线参数的马尔科夫链。在对167口巴奈特水平页岩气井开展测试时,我们假设前半时段的产量数据已知,而下半时段的产量数据未知,后者被视为“未来产量”。这167口井的“未来产量”数据大约有85%落在由贝叶斯法计算的P90和P10储量范围内,说明这种方法得到了很好的标定,而且贝叶斯法的计算速度是改进型自助法的13倍。所提出的贝叶斯法为人们快速而可靠地得出概率递减曲线预测结果和量化储量不确定性提供了一种手段。如有必要,这个方法还可以与其它解析递减曲线模型结合使用。 | Xinglai Gong | 2015 | 石油地质科技动态2015,0,5: | 0 |
| 18 | High-performance and broadband photodetection of bicrystalline(GaN)_(1-x)(ZnO)_(x)solid solution nanowires via crystal defect engineering显示文摘Crystal defect engineering is widely used as an effective approach to regulate the optical and optoelectronic properties of semiconductor nanostructures.However,photogenerated electron-hole pair recombination centers caused by structural defects usually lead to the reduction of optoelectronic performance.In this work,a high-performance photodetector based on(GaN)_(1-x)(ZnO)_(x)solid solution nanowire with bicrystal structure is fabricated and it shows excellent photoresponse to ultraviolet and visible light.The highest responsivity of the photodetector is as high as 60,86 and 43 A/W under the irradiation of365 nm,532 nm and 650 nm,respectively.The corresponding response time is as fast as 170,320 and 160 ms.Such wide spectral responses can be attributed to various intermediate energy levels induced by the introduction of various structural defects and dopants in the solid solution nanowire.Moreover,the peculiar bicrystal boundary along the axial direction of the nanowire provides two parallel and fast transmission channels for photo-generated carriers,reducing the recombination of photo-generated carriers.Our findings provide a valued example using crystal defect engineering to broaden the photoresponse range and improve the photodetector performance and thus can be extended to other material systems for various optoelectronic applications. | Zongyi Ma Gang Li Xinglai Zhang Jing Li Cai Zhang Yonghui Ma Jian Zhang Bing Leng Natalia Usoltseva Vladimir An Baodan Liu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,26: | 0 |
| 19 | Review of fiber superluminescent pulse amplifications显示文摘High coherence of the laser is indispensable light sources in modern long or short-distance imaging systems, because the high coherence leads to coherent artifacts such as speckle that corrupt image formation. To deliver low coherence pulses in fiber amplifiers, we utilize the superluminescent pulsed light with broad bandwidth, nonlongitudinal mode structure and chaotic mode phase as the seed source of the cascaded fiber amplifiers. The influence of fiber superluminescent pulse amplification(SPA) on the limitations of the performance is analyzed. A review of our research results for SPA in the fibers are present, including the nonlinear theories of this low coherent light sources, i.e., self-focusing(SF), stimulated Raman scattering(SRS) and self-phase modulation(SPM) effects, and the experiment results of the nanosecond pulses with peak power as high as 4.8 MW and pulse energy as much as 55 mJ. To improve the brightness of SPA light in the future work, we introduce our novel evaluation term and a more reasonable criterion, which is denoted by a new parameter of brightness factor for active large mode area fiber designs. A core-doped active large pitch fiber with a core diameter of 190 μm and a mode-field diameter of 180 μm is designed by this method. | 20 | In-situ growth of large-area monolithic Fe_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) catalysts on flexible Ti mesh for CO oxidation显示文摘In this study, we reported the in-situ fabrication of a series of Fe_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) monolithic catalysts on flexible Ti mesh via plasma electrolytic oxidation process, hydrothermal reaction and chemical bath deposition(CBD) method. The morphology tailoring of Fe_(2)O_(3) nanostructures finds that Fe2O3 nanosheets supported on TiO2 exhibit superior catalytic performance with a complete oxidation of CO at 260℃. The catalytic stability test indicates that the in-situ grown Fe_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) catalysts own outstanding performance for continuous CO oxidation due to the strong substrate adhesion without mass loss. The microstructures and interfaces of Fe_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) catalysts are well studied using series of characterization techniques.
