2Defined tumor antigen-specific T cells potentiate personalized TCR-T cell therapy and prediction of immunotherapy response显示文摘Personalized immunotherapy targeting tumor-specific antigens(TSAs)could generate efficient and safe antitumor immune response without damaging normal tissues.Although neoantigen vaccines have shown therapeutic effect in clinic trials,precise prediction of neoantigens from tumor mutations is still challenging.The host antitumor immune response selects and activates T cells recognizing tumor antigens.Hence,T cells engineered with T-cell receptors(TCRs)from these naturally occurring tumor antigen-specific T(Tas)cells in a patient will target personal TSAs in his/her tumor.To establish such a personalized TCR-T cell therapy,we comprehensively characterized T cells in tumor and its adjacent tissues by single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq),TCR sequencing(TCR-seq)and in vitro neoantigen stimulation.Compared to bystander T cells circulating among tissues,Tas cells were characterized by tumor enrichment,tumor-specific clonal expansion and neoantigen specificity.We found that CXCL13 is a unique marker for both CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)Tas cells.Importantly,TCR-T cells expressing TCRs from Tas cells showed significant therapeutic effects on autologous patient-derived xenograft(PDX)tumors.Intratumoral Tas cell levels measured by CXCL13 expression precisely predicted the response to immune checkpoint blockade,indicating a critical role of Tas cells in the antitumor immunity.We further identified CD200 and ENTPD1 as surface markers for CD4^(^(+))and CD8^(^(+))Tas cells respectively,which enabled the isolation of Tas cells from tumor by Fluorescence Activating Cell Sorter(FACS)sorting.Overall,our results suggest that TCR-T cells engineered with Tas TCRs are a promising agent for personalized immunotherapy,and intratumoral Tas cell levels determine the response to immunotherapy.Jingjing He Xinxin Xiong Han Yang Dandan Li Xuefei Liu Shuo Li Shuangye Liao Siyu Chen Xizhi Wen Kuai Yu Lingyi Fu Xingjun Dong Kaiyu Zhu Xiaojun Xia Tiebang Kang Chaochao Bian Xiang Li Haiping Liu Peirong Ding Xiaoshi Zhang Zhenjiang Liu Wende Li Zhixiang Zuo Penghui Zhou 2022Cell Research2022,32,6:10
3Research progresses on Cherenkov and transit-time high-power microwave sources at NUDT显示文摘Research progresses on Cherenkov and transit-time high-power microwave(HPM)sources in National University of Defense Technology(NUDT)of China are presented.The research issues are focused on the following aspects.The pulse-shortening phenomenon in O-type Cerenkov HPM devices is suppressed.The compact coaxial relativistic backward-wave oscillators(RBWOs)at low bands are developed.The power efficiency in M-Type HPM tubes without guiding magnetic field increased.The power capacities and power efficiencies in the triaxial klystron amplifier(TKA)and relativistic transit-time oscillator(TTO)at higher frequencies increased.In experiments,some exciting results were obtained.The X-band source generated 2 GW microwave power with a pulse duration of 110 ns in 30 Hz repetition mode.Both L-and P-band compact RBWOs generated over 2 GW microwave power with a power efficiency of over 30%.There is approximately a 75% decline of the volume compared with that of conventional RBWO under the same power capacity conditions.A 1.755 GHz MILO produced 3.1 GW microwave power with power efficiency of 10.4%.A 9.37 GHz TKA produced the 240 MW microwave power with the gain of 34 dB.A 14.3 GHz TTO produced 1 GW microwave power with power efficiency of 20%.Jiande Zhang Xingjun Ge Jun Zhang Juntao He Yuwei Fan Zhiqiang Li Zhenxing Jin Liang Gao Junpu Ling Zumin Qi 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,3:7

6Role ofβ(FeA1)nanoparticles in abnormal grain growth in the annealing of cast Cu-Al-Mn-Fe shape memory alloys显示文摘In this study,the low-cost production of Cu-AI-Mn-Fe shape memory alloy single crystals exceeding 46 mm by abnormal grain growth was realized only through annealing their cast alloys.The results show that the mis-orientation formed during annealing may be responsible for such abnormal grain growth process.It was con-firmed that this misorientation resulted from the dissolution of bec B(FeAI)nanoparticles during heat treatment at a sufficiently temperature of approximately 1173 K.The rate of migration of the abnormal grain boundary was experimentally measured to be approximately9.3 x 10^-m s^-1within 2 min of the commencement of abnormal grain growth.Additionally,the range of composition of the alloys that can lead to abnormal grain growth was determined.When the Cu-13.0AI-6.5Mn-3.2Fe single crystal close to the[100]direction was deformed to a pre-strain of 12%,full shape recovery happened without any residual strain.At that time,the superelastic strain was approximately 9%.Such a superelastic characteristic remained nearly constant over 50 cycles,showing excellent fatigue resistance.The superelastic properties of the present Cu-13.0AI-6.5Mn-3.2Fe single crystal are compared to those of commercial Ni-Ti-based shape memory alloys.Therefore,it can be considered as a new kind of superelastic material having practical applications.The obtained results should be of great significance in the development of Cu based shape memory alloys.Furthermore,it is expected that a similar microstructure can be designed for the production of more metallic single crystals.Shuiyuan Yang Xinyu Qing Jixun Zhang Lipeng Guo Shen Hong Mingpei Li Jinbin Zhang Cuiping Wang Xingjun Liu 2020Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,4:2
7Phase Boundary Mapping in ZrNiSn Half-Heusler for Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance显示文摘The solubility range of interstitial Ni in the ZrNi1+xSn half-Heusler phase is a controversial issue,but it has an impact on the thermoelectric properties.In this study,two isothermal section phase diagrams of the Zr-Ni-Sn ternary system at 973K and 1173 K were experimentally constructed based on the binary phase diagrams of Zr-Ni,Zr-Sn,and Ni-Sn.The thermodynamic equilibrium phases were obtained after a long time of heating treatment on the raw alloys prepared by levitation melting.Solubilities of x<0:07 at 973 K and x<0:13 at 1173 K were clearly indicated.An intermediate-Heusler phase with a partly filled Ni void was observed,which is believed to be beneficial to the lowered lattice thermal conductivity.The highest ZT value~0:71 at 973 K was obtained for ZrNi_(1.11)Sn_(1.04).The phase boundary mapping provides an important instruction for the further optimization of ZrNiSn-based materials and other systems.Xiaofang Li Pengbo Yang Yumei Wang Zongwei Zhang Dandan Qin Wenhua Xue Chen Chen Yifang Huang Xiaodong Xie Xinyu Wang Mujin Yang Cuiping Wang Feng Cao Jiehe Sui Xingjun Liu Qian Zhang 2020Research2020,,1:2
8Optical coherent dot-product chip for sophisticated deep learning regression显示文摘Optical implementations of neural networks(ONNs)herald the next-generation high-speed and energy-efficient deep learning computing by harnessing the technical advantages of large bandwidth and high parallelism of optics.However,due to the problems of the incomplete numerical domain,limited hardware scale,or inadequate numerical accuracy,the majority of existing ONNs were studied for basic classification tasks.Given that regression is a fundamental form of deep learning and accounts for a large part of current artificial intelligence applications,it is necessary to master deep learning regression for further development and deployment of ONNs.Here,we demonstrate a silicon-based optical coherent dot-product chip(OCDC)capable of completing deep learning regression tasks.The OCDC adopts optical fields to carry out operations in the complete real-value domain instead of in only the positive domain.Via reusing,a single chip conducts matrix multiplications and convolutions in neural networks of any complexity.Also,hardware deviations are compensated via in-situ backpropagation control provided the simplicity of chip architecture.Therefore,the OCDC meets the requirements for sophisticated regression tasks and we successfully demonstrate a representative neural network,the AUTOMAP(a cutting-edge neural network model for image reconstruction).The quality of reconstructed images by the OCDC and a 32-bit digital computer is comparable.To the best of our knowledge,there is no precedent of performing such state-of-the-art regression tasks on ONN chips.It is anticipated that the OCDC can promote the novel accomplishment of ONNs in modern AI applications including autonomous driving,natural language processing,and scientific study.Shaofu Xu Jing Wang Haowen Shu Zhike Zhang Sicheng Yi Bowen Bai Xingjun Wang Jianguo Liu Weiwen Zou 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,12:2

12Fast and stable K-ion storage enabled by synergistic interlayer and pore-structure engineering显示文摘Carbon-based material has been regarded as one of the most promising electrode materials for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,the battery performance based on reported porous carbon electrodes is still unsatisfactory,while the in-depth K-ion storage mechanism remains relatively ambiguous.Herein,we propose a facile“in situ self-template bubbling”method for synthesizing interlayer-tuned hierarchically porous carbon with different metallic ions,which delivers superior K-ion storage performance,especially the high reversible capacity(360.6 mAh·g^(−1)@0.05 A·g^(−1)),excellent rate capability(158.6 mAh·g^(−1)@10.0 A·g^(−1))and ultralong high-rate cycling stability(82.8%capacity retention after 2,000 cycles at 5.0 A·g^(−1)).Theoretical simulation reveals the correlations between interlayer distance and K-ion diffusion kinetics.Experimentally,deliberately designed consecutive cyclic voltammetry(CV)measurements,ex situ Raman tests,galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)method decipher the origin of the excellent rate performance by disentangling the synergistic effect of interlayer and pore-structure engineering.Considering the facile preparation strategy,superior electrochemical performance and insightful mechanism investigations,this work may deepen the fundamental understandings of carbon-based PIBs and related energy storage devices like sodium-ion batteries,aluminum-ion batteries,electrochemical capacitors,and dual-ion batteries.Deping Li Qing Sun Yamin Zhang Xinyue Dai Fengjun Ji Kaikai Li Qunhui Yuan Xingjun Liu Lijie Ci 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:1

18Xenotime-type high-entropy(Dy_(1/7)Ho_(1/7)Er_(1/7)Tm_(1/7)Yb_(1/7)Lu_(1/7)Y_(1/7))PO_(4):A promising thermal/environmental barrier coating material for SiCf/SiC ceramic matrix composites显示文摘Rare-earth phosphates(REPO4)are regarded as one of the promising thermal/environmental barrier coating(T/EBC)materials for SiCf/SiC ceramic matrix composites(SiC-CMCs)owing to their excellent resistance to water vapor and CaO–MgO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)(CMAS).Nevertheless,a relatively high thermal conductivity(κ)of the REPO_(4) becomes the bottleneck for their practical applications.In this work,novel xenotime-type high-entropy(Dy_(1/7)Ho_(1/7)Er_(1/7)Tm_(1/7)Yb_(1/7)Lu_(1/7)Y_(1/7))PO4(HE(7RE_(1/7))PO_(4))has been designed and synthesized for the first time to solve this issue.HE(7RE_(1/7))PO_(4) with a homogeneous rare-earth element distribution exhibits high thermal stability up to 1750℃and good chemical compatibility with SiO_(2) up to 1400℃.In addition,the thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)of HE(7RE_(1/7))PO_(4)(5.96×10^(−6)℃^(−1) from room temperature(RT)to 900℃)is close to that of the SiC-CMCs.What is more,the thermal conductivities of HE(7RE_(1/7))PO_(4)(from 4.38 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 100℃to 2.25 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 1300℃)are significantly decreased compared to those of single-component REPO4 with the minimum value ranging from 9.90 to 4.76 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1).These results suggest that HE(7RE_(1/7))PO_(4) has the potential to be applied as the T/EBC materials for the SiC-CMCs in the future.Peixiong Zhang Xingjun Duan Xiaochang Xie Donghai Ding Tao Yang Xinmei Hou Yunsong Zhao Enhui Wang 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,5:1
