1The Contents of Terpene Trilactone and Flavonoid in Leaves of Seedlings from Ancient Female Ginkgo Trees in China显示文摘Flavonoids and terpene trilactones, especially, ginkgo flavonglycosides, ginkgolides and bilobalides in leaves of ginkgo trees, need to be studied for effective application of these active components with high medical and health-care values. This study was aimed to provide scientific bases for genealogies selection and harvest season confirmation for Ginkgo biloba. A high-performance liquid chromatographic method(HPLC-ELSD)was developed to determine the contents of terpene trilactone and flavonoid of 36 ancient G. biloba genealogies from 19 provinces in China.The study indicated that the content gradually increased from April to August, and thereafter declined. Analysis of variance indicated that the contents of terpene trilactone, flavonoids, and their respective components had significant difference among 36 genealogies. The cluster analysis showed that No. 72(Xing'an, Guangxi), No. 58(Youyang, Chongqing), No. 82(Rugao, Jiangsu), No. 123(Huixian, Gansu), No. 99(Dujun, Guizhou),No. 10(Tai'an, Shandong) and No. 133(Mentougou, Beijing) genealogies have higher content of terpene trilactone and flavonoid. 2The calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II inhibitor KN-93 protects rat cerebral cortical neurons from N-methyl-D-aspartic acid-induced injury显示文摘In this study, primary cultured cerebral cortical neurons of Sprague-Dawley neonatal rats were treated with 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 μM calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II inhibitor KN-93 after 50 μM N-methyl-D-aspartic acid-induced injury. Results showed that, compared with N-methyl-D-aspartic acid-induced injury neurons, the activity of cells markedly increased, apoptosis was significantly reduced, leakage of lactate dehydrogenase decreased, and intracellular Ca(2+) concentrations in neurons reduced after KN-93 treatment. The expression of caspase-3, phosphorylated calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II and total calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II protein decreased after KN-93 treatment. And the effect was apparent at a dose of 1.0 μM KN-93. 3Mantle melting beneath the Southwest Indian Ridge: signals from clinopyroxene in abyssal peridotites显示文摘The mineral chemistry and texture of clinopyroxenes in peridotite from the Kingkong tectonic zone of the Southwest Indian Ridge segment in an effort to constrain mantle melting beneath this slow-spreading ridge are reported.There are three types of clinopyroxenes in the abyssal peridotites:coarse-grained,intergranular and exsolved.The compositional variations among these three types suggest that the coarse-grained clinopyroxene is a mantle-derived source.The Al,Na and Ti contents and the Na/Ti ratio of the coarsegrained clinopyroxene may be used to monitor the degree of partial melting,combined with the contradistinction with Spinel Cr#,which is calculated to be between 7.9%and 14.9%,and may represent low degrees of melting in the global ocean ridge system.The along-axis compositional variations in the coarse-grained clinopyroxene suggest that the degree of partial melting is primarily controlled by the transform faults on both sides of the ridge.Nonetheless,the northwestern side of the ridge may be affected by a hypothesised detachment fault as documented by the calculated P-T conditions.Simultaneously high Na and low Ti contents in the coarse-grained clinopyroxene points to mantle heterogeneities along the ridge axis.WANG Wei CHU Fengyou ZHU Jihao DONG Yanhui YU Xing CHEN Ling LI Zhenggang 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,12:2
4Influence of channel/back-barrier thickness on the breakdown of AlGaN/GaN MIS-HEMTs显示文摘The leakage current and breakdown voltage of Al Ga N/Ga N/Al Ga N high electron mobility transistors on silicon with different Ga N channel thicknesses were investigated.The results showed that a thin Ga N channel was beneficial for obtaining a high breakdown voltage,based on the leakage current path and the acceptor traps in the Al Ga N back-barrier.The breakdown voltage of the device with an 800 nm-thick Ga N channel was 926 V@1 m A/mm,and the leakage current increased slowly between 300 and 800 V.Besides,the raising conduction band edge of the Ga N channel by the Al Ga N back-barrier lead to little degradation for sheet 2-D electron gas density,especially,in the thin Ga N channel.The transfer and output characteristics were not obviously deteriorated for the samples with different Ga N channel thickness.Through optimizing the Ga N channel thickness and designing the Al GaN back-barrier,the lower leakage current and higher breakdown voltage would be possible.Jie Zhao Yanhui Xing Kai Fu Peipei Zhang Liang Song Fu Chen Taotao Yang Xuguang Deng Sen Zhang Baoshun Zhang 2018Journal of Semiconductors2018,39,9:2
5Hydrogen production via chemical looping reforming of coke oven gas显示文摘Coke oven gas(COG)is one of the most important by-products in steel industry,and the conversion of COG to value-added products has attracted much attention from both economic and environmental views.In this work,we use the chemical looping reforming technology to produce pure H_(2) from COG.A series of La1-xSrxFeO_(3)(x?0,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.5,0.6)perovskite oxides were prepared as oxygen carriers for this purpose.The reduction behaviors of La1-xSrxFeO_(3) perovskite by different reducing gases(H_(2),CO,CH4 and the mixed gases)are investigated to discuss the competition effect of different components in COG for reacting with the oxygen carriers.The results show that reduction temperatures of H_(2) and CO are much lower than that of CH4,and high temperatures(>800℃)are requested for selective oxidation of methane to syngas.The co-existence of CO and H_(2) shows weak effect on the equilibrium of methane conversion at high temperatures,but the oxidation of methane to syngas can inhibit the consumption of CO and H_(2).The doping of suitable amounts of Sr in LaFeO_(3) perovskite(e.g.,La0.5Sr0.5FeO_(3))significantly promotes the activity for selective oxidation of methane to syngas and inhibits the formation of carbon deposition,obtaining both high methane conversion in the COG oxidation step and high hydrogen yield in the water splitting step.The La0.5Sr0.5FeO_(3) shows the highest methane conversion(67.82%),hydrogen yield(3.34 mmol g^(-1))and hydrogen purity(99.85%).The hydrogen yield in water splitting step is treble as high as the hydrogen consumption in reduction step.These results reveal that chemical looping reforming of COG to produce pure H_(2) is feasible,and an O_(2)-assistant chemical looping reforming process can further improves the redox stability of oxygen carrier.Kun Yang Zhenhua Gu Yanhui Long Shen Lin Chunqiang Lu Xing Zhu Hua Wang Kongzhai Li 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,5:2
6Different structural origins for different sized surface pits observed on a-plane GaN film显示文摘A correlation study between the observed surface morphology using high-resolution scanning electron microscopy(HRSEM) and the observed structural imperfections using transmission electron microscopy(TEM) has been conducted for a-plane Ga N. There are three different sized asymmetric surface pits: large pit of 500 nm–2 ?m in side length, medium pit of 50 nm in side length, and small pit with side lengths of less than 5 nm, which originate from incomplete island coalescence, screw dislocation, and partial dislocation(PD), respectively. Both screw dislocation and PD can produce pits on the free surface because they have a perpendicular line tension to the surface, which must remain in balance with the surface tension. The two types of dislocation lead to distinctive pit sizes because the PD has a smaller Burgers vector component along the dislocation line than the pure screw dislocation. A pit that is produced in the island-coalescing process is much larger than those caused by dislocations because island coalescence is a kinetic process that involves large-scale mass transportation, whereas the dislocation mediates the surface in the local area. These three types of surface pits sometimes interact with one another in space. 11Interaction and combined toxicity of microplastics and per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances in aquatic environment显示文摘Microplastics(MPs)are recognized as vectors for the transport of organic contaminants in aquatic environments in addition to their own adverse effects on aquatic organisms.Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs)are widely present in aquatic environments due to their widespread applications,and thus coexist with MPs.Therefore,we focus on the interaction of MPs and PFASs and related combined toxicity in aquatic environments in this work The adsorption of PFASs on MPs is critically reviewed,and new mechanisms such as halogen bonding,π-πinteraction,cation-πinteractions,and micelle formation are proposed.Moreover,the effect of MPs on the transport and transformation of PFASs in aquatic environments is discussed.Based on four typical aquatic organisms(shellfish,Daphnia,algae,and fish),the toxicity of MPs and/or PFASs at the organismal or molecular levels is also evaluated and summarized.Finally,challenges and research perspectives are proposed,and the roles of the shapes and aging process of MPs on PFAS biogeochemical processes and toxicity,especially on PFAS substitutes,are recommended for further investigation.This review provides a better understanding of the interactions and toxic effects of coexisting MPs and PFASs in aquatic environments.Yanhui Dai Jian Zhao Chunxiao Sun Diying Li Xia Liu Zhenyu Wang Tongtao Yue Baoshan Xing 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,10:0
12The plasmodesmata-associated β-1,3-glucanase gene GhPdBG regulates fiber development in cotton显示文摘Trichomes are specialized structures that originate from epidermal cells of organs in higher plants.The cotton fiber is a unique single-celled trichome that elongates from the seed coat epidermis.Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum)fibers and trichomes are models for cell differentiation.In an attempt to elucidate the intercellular factors that regulate fiber and trichome cell development,we identified a plasmodesmal β-1,3-glucanase gene(designated GhPdBG)controlling the opening and closing of plasmodesmata in cotton fibers.Structural and evolutionary analysis showed haplotypic variation in the promoter region of the GhPdBG gene among 352 cotton accessions,but high conservation in the coding region.GhPdBG was expressed predominantly in cotton fibers and localized to plasmodesmata(PD).Expression patterns of PdBG that corresponded to PD permeability were apparent during fiber development in G.hirsutum and G.barbadense.The PdBG-mediated opening-closure of PD appears to be involved in fiber development and may account for the contrasting fiber traits of these two species.Ectopic expression of GhPdBG revealed that it functions in regulating fiber and trichome length and/or density by modulating plasmodesmatal permeability.This finding suggests that plasmodesmal targeting of GhPdBG,as a switch of intercellular channels,regulates single-celled fiber and trichome development in cotton.Yijie Fan Shuangshuang Lin Yanhui Lyu Haihong Shang Youlu Yuan Zhengmin Tang Chengzhi Jiao Aiyun Chen Piyi Xing Li Zhang Yuxiao Sun Haixia Guo Tongtong Li Zhonghai Ren Fanchang Zeng 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,6:0
13Preliminary Study on Water Demand Law of 1-0 Rooted Cuttings of Populus szechuanica显示文摘In order to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the afforestation and artificial water supply of P.szechuanica in arid areas,the characteristics of water consumption of P.szechuanica were explored,and the law of water demand of P.szechuanica was grasped.In this paper,potted seedlings of 1-0 rooted cuttings of P.szechuanica were taken as research objects,and change situation of water consumption under different water control gradients was measured regularly by using weighing method,further analyzing dynamic change of water consumption of P.szechuanica and revealing water demand law of 1-0 rooted cuttings of P.szechuanica.The results showed that total change of water consumption of 1-0 rooted cuttings of P.szechuanica had'slow-fast-slow-fast'double-peak trend in the growth period of the current year,and corresponded with univariate linear relation(R^(2)=0.7137),with significant difference.In whole growth period,water consumption in August was the highest,which was 2.7 times of that in June and July and 1.5 times of that after September.In different water control treatments,the dynamic changes of daily and monthly water consumption were significantly different.In seven water control treatments,monthly water consumption was between(6315.95±1690.70)and(10105.28±3065.30)g/month,and mean was(8211.07±2308.23)g/month.With intensification of water control treatment,water consumption increased,but there was no seedling death due to water shortage.P.szechuanica has great plasticity in water demand,and can survive in both arid and humid environments.Meanwhile,it is revealed that P.szechuanica is the most widely distributed tree species in the region.Dabuqiong Haoyu WANG Huanhuan XIE Zhen XING Yanhui YE 2021Meteorological and Environmental Research2021,12,4:0
