1Removal of copper ions from aqueous solution by calcium alginate immobilized kaolin显示文摘Kaolin has been widely used as an adsorbent to remove heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions.However,the lower heavy metal adsorption capacity of kaolin limits its practical application.A novel environmental friendly material,calcium alginate immobilized kaolin (kaolin/CA),was prepared using a sol-gel method.The effects of contact time,pH,adsorbent dose,and temperature on Cu 2+ adsorption by kaolin/CA were investigated.The Langmuir isotherm was used to describe the experimental adsorption,the maximum Cu 2+ adsorption capacity of the kaolin/CA reached up to 53.63 mg/g.The thermodynamic studies showed that the adsorption reaction was a spontaneous and endothermic process.Yanhui Li Bing Xia Quansheng Zhao Fuqiang Liu Pan Zhang Qiuju Du DechangWang Da Li ZonghuaWang Yanzhi Xia 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,3:14
2Eco-geographic Environment and Regional Development in Xinjiang of China显示文摘The study on relationship between eco-geographic environment(EGE) and regional development(RD) is of theoretical and practical significance to promote the comprehensive study on nature and human factors and regional coordination development.Based on the evaluation index system and models of EGE and RD, Quadrant Analysis Method(QAM) and the Coordination Degree and Coordinated Development Degree Model(CDCDDM) were applied to studying the relationship between EGE and RD in Xinjiang in this paper.The results show that Xinjiang can be divided into four type regions according to the relationship between EGE and RD, namely high coordination region(HCR), overloading development region(ODR), low coordination region(LCR) and potential development region(PDR).Most areas of Xinjiang belong to LCR which can not bear a larger population and support large-scale economic development.HCR, ODR and PDR, which are mainly distributed in piedmont oases and take basin as unit, should be focused on in the development of Xinjiang.The EGE has great influence on RD, and there is serious contradiction between them.Relevant suggestions on development strategies were put forward according to the character of different type regions, and the key regions of macro-layout of RD in Xinjiang were pointed out.XIA Fuqiang DAI Erfu ZHENG Du WU Shaohong YANG Qinye 2010Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,1:2
3Three Types of Spatial Function Zoning in Key Ecological Function Areas Based on Ecological and Economic Coordinated Development: A Case Study of Tacheng Basin, China显示文摘Three types of spatial function zoning is an effective measure for regional environmental protection and orderly development.For ecological and economic coordinated development, spatial function zones should be divided scientifically to clear its direction of development and protection. Therefore, based on ecological constraints, a beneficial discussion would be about the key ecological function areas adopting the concept of ecological protection restriction and supporting socioeconomic development for spatial function zoning. In this paper, the researchers, taking Tacheng Basin, Xinjiang of China as an example, choose township as basic research unit and set up an evaluation index system from three aspects, namely, ecological protection suitability, agricultural production suitability, and urban development suitability, which are analyzed by using spatial analysis functions and exclusive matrix method. The results showed that: 1) This paper formed a set of multilevel evaluation index systems for three types of spatial function zoning of the key ecological function areas based on a novel perspective by scientifically dividing Tacheng Basin into ecological space, agricultural space, and urban space,which realized the integration and scientific orientation for spatial function at the township scale. 2) Under the guidance of three types of spatial pattern, the functional orientation and suggestions of development and protection was clearly defined for ecological protection zones,ecological economic zones, agricultural production zones, and urban development zones. 3) A new idea of space governance is provided to promote the coordinated and sustainable development between ecology and economy, which can break the traditional mode of thinking about regional economic development, and offers a scientific basis and reference for macro decision-making.WANG Guiling YANG Degang XIA Fuqiang ZHONG Ruisen XIONG Chuanhe 2019Chinese Geographical Science2019,29,4:2

5Dike Breach Risks of Different Flood Conditions in the Lower Yellow River显示文摘Based on the analysis of hanging rivers' actuality in the lower Yellow River and researches related to the evaluation of dike breach risks,it is put forward that the influencing factors of dike beach risks in the lower Yellow River should involve four aspects,the flow and sediment movement,the regional crustal stability,the variation of river regime and the stability of river dikes.With this,the evaluation indexes system of dike breach risks is established,and with the support of geographic information systems technology,the model of multi-hierarchical fuzzy comprehensive judgment is applied to estimate the dike beach risks of the hanging rivers in the lower Yellow River under different flood conditions.The evaluation results of dike breach risks show the following distributing regularities of dike breach risks in the lower Yellow River:(1) Dike breach risks increase with the increase of the flood.(2) Dike breach risks decrease with the changes of river patterns along the channel.(3) There are great risks of dike breach in the wandering reaches,and it is relatively higher in the south bank than in the north in wandering reaches.(4) There is a higher dike breach risk in the north bank than in the south in winding reaches.Simultaneously,the evaluation results manifest that the evaluation indexes system established from the flow and sediment movement,the regional crustal stability,the variation of river regime and the stability of river dikes can represent the actual situation of the lower Yellow River more comprehensively.The application of multihierarchical fuzzy comprehensive judgment can preferably resolve the problem of hanging river dike breach,which has numerous influencing factors and complicated functionary mechanisms.The applications of geographic information systems technology with powerful spatial analysis functions make dike beach risks quantificationally displayed in different spatial positions,and reflect the differences of dike beach risks in different spatial positions of the channel in the lower Yellow River.Xia Fuqiang Wu Shaohong Yang Qinye Kang Xiangwu Ma Xin 2010Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2010,8,1:1

17Adsorption selectivity of salicylic acid and 5-sulfosalicylic acid onto hypercrosslinked polymeric adsorbents显示文摘Both bottle-point and column-feeding experi-ments involving different solutes and sorbents were carried out to investigate the adsorption selectivity and separation performance of salicylic acid and 5-sulfosalicylic acid.Their adsorption isotherms onto such hypercrosslinked polymeric adsorbents as NDA-100 and NDA-99 could be well described by the Freundlich equations whose characteristics describe extrathermic and favorable adsorption processes.The adsorp-tion towards NDA-100 mainly depended on the p-p interac-tion,while that towards NDA-99 was extremely influenced by the static-electric interaction.Additionally,the adsorptive capacity of salicylic acid on NDA-99 decreased while it increased on NDA-100 with the presence of 5-sulfosalicylic acid in the adsorptive environment as the competitive component.Comparatively,the adsorption capacity of 5-sulfosalicylic acid decreased on both resins with salicylic acid as the competitive component.In fact,the difference in the interaction between adsorbent and adsorbate resulted in the straight antagonism on the effective adsorption sites on the adsorbent.In conclusion,the adsorption selectivity of salicylic acid onto NDA-100 was obviously larger than that onto NDA-99 with the existence of 5-sulfosalicylic acid in the adsorptive environment.A satisfactory separation and recovery of tested solutes in aqueous phase could be foresee-ably achieved by the sequencing adsorption technique involving NDA-100 as well as NDA-99.LIU Fuqiang XIA Mingfang FEI Zhenghao CHEN Jinlong LI Aimin 2007Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2007,1,1:0
18An Outbreak of Dengue Virus Type 1--Jiangxi Province,China,2019显示文摘What is known about this topic?Dengue fever is an acute febrile illness caused by four types of dengue virus(DENV 1–4),and is a mosquitoborne infectious disease.The incidence of dengue has increased dramatically around the world in recent decades.An estimated of 3.9 billion people in 128 countries are at risk of infection with dengue viruses,70%of whom are in Asia.In 2017,the first local infections of dengue virus(DENV-2)in Jiangxi Province was reported in Zhanggong District,Ganzhou City.What is added by this report?From August to September 2019,the first dengue outbreak happened in Xin’gan County,where 81 local dengue fever cases were reported,35 were laboratoryconfirmed cases,and 46 were clinically-diagnosed cases;all cases were dengue virus type 1.The DENV-virus strains isolated from the cases of Xin’gan County were close to the strains isolated in Singapore(MF033254|25657|Singapore|2016)and Henan(MK905537|He nan201903|China:Henan Province|2019).What are the implications for public health practice?The outbreak might have been caused by imported cases or covert infections.The outbreak in Xin’gan County indicated that more proactive countermeasures should be taken during the dengue epidemic period such as intensifying surveillance for dengue cases,virus serotype,and Aedes vector density and strengthening cooperation with customs and tourism departments.Moreover,the outbreak should prompt training in medical institutions and improved ability for doctor’s to diagnose dengue fever,which is very important for early detection of dengue cases and taking preventive measures.Fuqiang Yang Guanghui Xia Zhili Zeng Zhongjian Li Huijian Cheng Daping Che Jun Zong Jianxiong Li Tian Gong Guihua Liu Weidong Zhou Bihai Wei Xiaobo Liu Jiandong Li Sheng Ding 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,35:0
