3Effect mechanisms of micro-alloying element La on microstructure and mechanical properties of hypoeutectic Al-Si alloys显示文摘The rare earth influence on the as-cast micro structures and mechanical properties of aluminum alloys attracted great attentions in the last decades.But up to date no reports can be found on the effect of microalloying element La(La addition is below 0.1 wt.%) on the solidification of hypoeutectic Al-Si alloys.This study carried out solidification experiments with Al-6 Si alloys micro-alloyed by element La.The α-Al grain refinement,the eutectic Si modification and the tensile properties improvement caused by microalloying element La were investigated.The effect mechanisms of La were discussed.It is demonstrated that the addition of La as low as 100 ppm can deprave the more effective heterogeneous nucleation conditions for the eutectic Si caused by the impurity P.The addition of 0.06 wt.% La is sufficient to achieve an ideal α-Al grain refinement,eutectic Si modification and ductility improvement of the alloys.LaAlSi phase forms in the Al-Si alloy with the additive amount of La higher than 0.06 wt.%.It has a tetragonal structure.Micro-alloying element La refines the α-Al grains by working as a surfactant and modifies the eutectic Si by promoting the formation of the significant multiple Si twins.Qiuju Zheng Lili Zhang Hongxiang Jiang Jiuzhou Zhao Jie He 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,12:18

5Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. 6Parameter optimization for microwave coupled with hot air drying process of hawthorn slices using response-surface methodology显示文摘The microwave coupled with hot air(MCHA)drying method was used in this test to dry hawthorn slices The effect of initial microwave power density level(6 W/g to 12 W/g),hot air temperature(55℃ to 70℃),and hot air velocity(1 m/s to 3 m/s)on the quality attributes of rehydration ratio(Rf),organic acid(OA)and ascorbic acid(AA)of the dehydrated hawthorn slices was analyzed using a response surface methodology.An orthogonal rotatable central composite with three factors and at five levels was used to develop predictive regression models for the responses.The prediction mathematical model of Rf,OA and AA of the hawthorn slice was determined by analysis of variance.Factor and response variables as well as the prediction mathematical model,the optimal drying process of Rf,OA and AA of the hawthorn slice were determined by using the Design-Expert software.The comprehensive optimal conditions were as follows:initial microwave power density 12 W/g,hot air temperature 55℃ and hot air velocity 1.56 m/s.Yu Haiming Zuo Chuncheng Xie Qiuju 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,2:9
7Aerosol influence domain of Beijing and peripheral city agglomeration and its climatic effect显示文摘The aerosol distribution in Beijing and peripheral cities agglomeration (BPCA) and its re- gional climatic effect are investigated on the basis of the statistical analyses of satellite Total Ozone Map- ping Spectrometer (TOMS) retrieval aerosol optical depth (AOD) and the meteorological data of sunshine duration, fog days, and low cloud cover, observed at Beijing and its peripheral meteorological stations. The analysis on multi-samples variational correction of the satellite remote sensing Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) AOD under the clear sky and stable weather condition in conjunction with surface observations reveal that there was a “triangle-like” distribution pattern of the high values of aerosols in the southern “valley” of the “U-shape” megarelief of Beijing and its peripheral areas. The distribution pattern suggests that the large-scale transfer and diffusion of city agglomeration pollutants might form a relatively persistent characteristic spatial distribution of city agglomeration pollutants much larger than city-scale. Under the background of the particular megarelief effect of Beijing and periph- eral areas, the high value area of TOMS AOD, as well as regional correlation distribution between clear sky sunshine duration and TOMS AOD are also similar to the composite image of MODIS AOD variational fields, that is to say, the effect of atmospheric aerosols was very distinctive in Beijing and peripheral areas. The high value area of the negative correlation between clear sky sunshine duration and TOMS AOD ap-proximately accorded with the significant negative value area of the sunshine duration deviations of the 1980s to the 1990s, and the daily variations of the AOD also showed an anti-phase relation with those of clear sky sunshine duration. The above high cor- relation area of the urban aerosol impact of Beijing- Tianjin region leant towards south peripheral area, with its “center of gravity” in the south of Beijing- Tianjin agglomeration, and the main body of the high correlation area prolongating southwards, forming an aerosol influence domain of “eccentric ellipse” shape, that is to say, there was an aerosol influence domain of some “radius” in Beijing City and its peripheral areas, within and outside which sunshine duration, low cloud cover, and fog days showed a remarkable difference in interannual variation trend. At the downstream of the city agglomeration there was a significant interdecadal increment area of fog or low cloud cover, which might be associated with the local climatic feature of the regional flow convergent field in the diffusion process of city agglomeration pollut- ants in the aerosol influence domain, and such a local dynamical convergence feature might lead to the regional exacerbation of aerosol impact downstream of the city agglomeration. 8Degradation of 4-nitrophenol by electrocatalysis and advanced oxidation processes using Co3O4@C anode coupled with simultaneous CO2 reduction via SnO2/CC cathode显示文摘Herein,we prepa red novel three-dimensional(3D)gear-s haped Co3O4@C(Co3O4 modified by amorphous carbon)and sheet-like SnO2/CC(SnO2 grow on the carbon cloth)as anode and cathode to achieve efficient removal of 4-nitrophenol(4-NP)in the presence of peroxymonosulfate(PMS)and simultaneous electrocatalytic reduction of CO2,respectively.In this process,4-NP was mineralized into CO2 by the Co3O4@C,and the generated CO2 was reduced into HCOOH by the sheet-like SnO2/CC cathode.Compared with the pure Co0.5(Co3O4 was prepared using 0.5 g urea)with PMS(30 mg,0.5 g/L),the degradation efficiency of 4-NP(60 mL,10 mg/L)increased from 74.5%-85.1%in 60 min using the Co0.5 modified by amorphous carbon(Co0.5@C).Furthermore,when the voltage of 1.0 V was added in the anodic system of Co0.5@C with PMS(30 mg,0.5 g/L),the degradation efficiency of 4-NP increased from 85.1%-99.1%when Pt was used as cathode.In the experiments of 4-NP degradation coupled with simultaneous electrocatalytic CO2 reduction,the degradation efficiency of 4-NP was 99.0%in the anodic system of Co0.5@C with addition of PMS(30 mg,0.5 g/L),while the Faraday efficiency(FE)of HCOOH was 24.1%at voltage of-1.3 V using the SnO2/CC as cathode.The results showed that the anode of Co3O4 modified by amorphous carbon can markedly improve the degradation efficiency of 4-NP,while the cathode of SnO2/CC can greatly improve the FE and selectivity of CO2 reduction to HCOOH and the stability of cathode.Finally,the promotion mechanism was proposed to explain the degradation of organic pollutants and reduction of CO2 into HCOOH in the process of electrocatalysis coupled with advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)and simultaneous CO2 reduction.Meng Zhu Longshuai Zhang Shanshan Liu Dengke Wang Yuancheng Qin Ying Chen Weili Dai Yuehua Wang Qiuju Xing Jianping Zou 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7:7
9miR-146a negatively regulates NK cell functions via STAT1 signaling显示文摘It is known that natural killer(NK)cell function is downregulated in chronic hepatitis B(CHB)-infected patients and in hepatic carcinoma(HCC)patients,but the mechanisms underlying this functional downregulation are largely unclear.In this study,microRNA(miR)-146a expression increased in NK cells from CHB and HCC patients compared with NK cells from healthy donors,and miR-146a levels were negatively correlated to NK cell functions.Overexpression of miR-146a reduced NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity and the production of interferon(IFN)-γand tumor necrosis factor-α,which were reversed upon inhibition of miR-146a.In NK cells,miR-146a expression was induced by interleukin(IL)-10 and transforming growth factor-β,but reduced after treatment with interleukin-12,IFN-αand IFN-β.We further revealed that miR-146a regulated NK cell functions by targeting STAT1.Taken together,upregulated miR-146a expression,at least partially,attributes to NK cell dysfunction in CHB and HCC patients.Therefore,miR-146a may become a therapeutic target with great potential to ameliorate NK cell functions in liver disease.Dongqing Xu Qiuju Han Zhaohua Hou Cai Zhang Jian Zhang 2017Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,8:7

11Expression of ipt gene driven by tomato fruit specific promoter and its effects on fruit development of tomato显示文摘Fruit specific promoter (2A12) from Lycopersi-com esculentum and cDNA of isopentenyl-transferase (ipt) from Ti plasmid of Agrobacterium tumerfaciens C58 were cloned by PCR procedure respectively. Two plant expression vectors with 2A12/gus or 2A12/ipt were respectively constructed. These two chimeric genes were transferred into tomato by Agrobacterium mediated procedure. The results of Southern hybridization showed that the fusion genes had been integrated into tomatoes. The result of gus histochemi-cal staining showed that 2A12 had high fruit specific expressive capability in transgenic tomato. The ipt expression resulted in accumulation of high level of cytokinins (CTKs) in fruit lead to developmental changes in fruits and seeds. The fruit of ipt transformed tomato had the hyperplastic placenta with very few seeds or even seedless. The shelf life of transgenic fruits elongated for 1-2 weeks. 12The reflection of hierarchical cluster analysis of co-occurrence matrices in SPSS显示文摘Purpose: To discuss the problems arising from hierarchical cluster analysis of co-occurrence matrices in SPSS, and the corresponding solutions.Design/methodology/approach: We design different methods of using the SPSS hierarchical clustering module for co-occurrence matrices in order to compare these methods. We offer the correct syntax to deactivate the similarity algorithm for clustering analysis within the hierarchical clustering module of SPSS.Findings: When one inputs co-occurrence matrices into the data editor of the SPSS hierarchical clustering module without deactivating the embedded similarity algorithm, the program calculates similarity twice, and thus distorts and overestimates the degree of similarity.Practical implications: We offer the correct syntax to block the similarity algorithm for clustering analysis in the SPSS hierarchical clustering module in the case of co-occurrence matrices. This syntax enables researchers to avoid obtaining incorrect results.Originality/value: This paper presents a method of editing syntax to prevent the default use of a similarity algorithm for SPSS's hierarchical clustering module. 13Significantly enhanced oxygen reduction activity of Cu/CuN_xC_y co-decorated ketjenblack catalyst for Al–air batteries显示文摘Highly efficient and non-precious catalysts are imperative for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) to replace Pt/C. Anchoring efficient active species to carbon supports is a promising and scalable strategy. Here we synthesize Cu nanoparticles and noncrystalline CuN_xC_y species co-decorated ketjenblack(KB) carbon catalyst(denoted as Cu-N-KB-acid) by a facile and scalable method using copper sulfate, melamine, and KB as raw materials. An initial one-pot hydrothermal treatment is designed before pyrolysis process to achieve the good distribution of Cu and melamine on KB via a possible chelation effect. Owing to the synergistic effect of Cu and CuN_xC_y on KB, this composite catalyst displays excellent ORR catalytic activity in alkaline solution, which is comparable to the commercial 20% Pt/C. 14First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 16Oral microbiome and risk of malignant esophageal lesions in a high-risk area of China:A nested case-control study显示文摘Objective:We aimed to prospectively evaluate the association of oral microbiome with malignant esophageal lesions and its predictive potential as a biomarker of risk.Methods:We conducted a case-control study nested within a population-based cohort with up to 8 visits of oral swab collection for each subject over an 11-year period in a high-risk area for esophageal cancer in China.The oral microbiome was evaluated with 16 S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)gene sequencing in 428 pre-diagnostic oral specimens from 84 cases with esophageal lesions of severe squamous dysplasia and above(SDA)and 168 matched healthy controls.DESeq analysis was performed to identify taxa of differential abundance.Differential oral species together with subject characteristics were evaluated for their potential in predicting SDA risk by constructing conditional logistic regression models.Results:A total of 125 taxa including 37 named species showed significantly different abundance between SDA cases and controls(all P<0.05&false discovery rate-adjusted Q<0.10).A multivariate logistic model including 11 SDA lesion-related species and family history of esophageal cancer provided an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)of 0.89(95%CI,0.84-0.93).Cross-validation and sensitivity analysis,excluding cases diagnosed within 1 year of collection of the baseline specimen and their matched controls,or restriction to screenendoscopic-detected or clinically diagnosed case-control triads,or using only bacterial data measured at the baseline,yielded AUCs>0.84.Conclusions:The oral microbiome may play an etiological and predictive role in esophageal cancer,and it holds promise as a non-invasive early warning biomarker for risk stratification for esophageal cancer screening programs.Fangfang Liu Mengfei Liu Ying Liu Chuanhai Guo Yunlai Zhou Fenglei Li Ruiping Xu Zhen Liu Qiuju Deng Xiang Li Chaoting Zhang Yaqi Pan Tao Ning Xiao Dong Zhe Hu Huanyu Bao Hong Cai Isabel Dos Santos Silva Zhonghu He Yang Ke 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,6:3
17Genome-wide Investigation of micro RNAs and Their Targets in Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis Root with Plasmodiophora brassicae Infection显示文摘Increasing evidence has revealed that micro RNAs play a pivotal role in the post transcriptional regulation of gene expression in response to pathogens in plants. However, there is little information available about the expression patterns of mi RNAs and their targets in Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis) under Plasmodiophora brassicae stress. In the present study, using deep sequencing and degradome analysis, a genome-wide identification of mi RNAs and their targets during P. brassicae stress was performed. A total of 221 known and 93 potentially novel mi RNAs were successfully identified from two root libraries of one control(635-10CK) and P. brassicae-treated Chinese cabbage samples(635-10T). Of these, 14 known and 10 potentially novel mi RNAs were found to be differentially expressed after P. brassicae treatment. Degradome analysis revealed that the 223 target genes of the 75 mi RNAs could be potentially cleaved. KEGG(Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes)pathway analysis suggested that the putative target genes of the mi RNAs were predominately involved in selenocompound metabolism and plant hormone signal transduction. Then the expression of 12 mi RNAs was validated by quantitative real-time PCR(q RT-PCR). 18Effect of micro-alloying La on precipitation behavior, mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of Al-Mg-Si alloys显示文摘The rapid industrial development calls for alloys that possess higher comprehensive properties. In this study, the effect of microalloying La addition on the precipitation behavior during artificial aging as well as the mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of Al-Mg-Si alloys were investigated by thermal analysis, microstructural characterizations and properties tests.The results demonstrated that micro-alloying La addition does not change the whole precipitation sequence during the artificial aging of Al-Mg-Si alloys as well as the atomic structure of the precipitates. However, the higher La-vacancy binding energy as well as the strong La-Si and La-Mg interactions can decrease the solubility of Si and Mg in the Al matrix and the β″ precipitation activation energy from 89.9 to 76.7 kJ/mol, leading to the improvement of the strength and electrical conductivity of Al-Mg-Si alloys simultaneously. 20Effect of Different Sowing Dates in South Henan 's Rice-growing Areas on the Growth and Yield of Ratoon Rice显示文摘In order to determine the optimal sowing date of ratoon rice in South Henan's rice-growing areas,this paper performs a comparative analysis of rice growth process,seedling quality and yield of first season rice and ratoon rice under different sowing date treatments. The results show that under climatic conditions( 2014),by using dry seedling cultivation in a small plastic shed,the growth of seedling sown on February21 was affected,while the sowing treatments from March 1 to April 11 can breed normal seedlings,and in this period,the maturity period of first season rice was delayed with prolonged sowing date,and ratoon rice yield declined with prolonged sowing date( total production of rice sown on 11 March reaching a peak).
