| 1 | Synthetical Efficiency-based Optimization for the Power Distribution of Power-split Hybrid Electric Vehicles显示文摘Now the optimization strategies for power distribution are researched widely,and most of them are aiming to the optimal fuel economy and the driving cycle must be preknown.Thus if the actual driving condition deviates from the scheduled driving cycle,the effect of optimal results will be declined greatly.Therefore,the instantaneous optimization strategy carried out on-line is studied in this paper.The power split path and the transmission efficiency are analyzed based on a special power-split scheme and the efficiency models of the power transmitting components are established.The synthetical efficiency optimization model is established for enhancing the transmission efficiency and the fuel economy.The identification of the synthetical efficiency as the optimization objective and the constrain group are discussed emphatically.The optimization is calculated by the adaptive simulated annealing(ASA)algorithm and realized on-line by the radial basis function(RBF)-based similar models.The optimization for power distribution of the hybrid vehicle in an actual driving condition is carried out and the road test results are presented.The test results indicate that the synthetical efficiency optimization method can enhance the transmission efficiency and the fuel economy of the power-split hybrid electric vehicle(HEV)observably.Compared to the rules-based strategy the optimization strategy is optimal and achieves the approximate global optimization solution for the power distribution.The synthetical efficiency optimization solved by ASA algorithm can give attentions to both optimization quality and calculation efficiency,thus it has good application foreground for the power distribution of power-split HEV. | WANG Weida HAN Lijin XIANG Changle MA Yue LIU Hui | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,1: | 12 |
| 2 | Sequential fate-switches in stem-like cells drive the tumorigenic trajectory from human neural stem cells to malignant glioma显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is an incurable and highly heterogeneous brain tumor,originating from human neural stem/progenitor cells(hNSCs/hNPCs)years ahead of diagnosis.Despite extensive efforts to characterize hNSCs and end-stage GBM at bulk and single-cell levels,the de novo gliomagenic path from hNSCs is largely unknown due to technical difficulties in early-stage sampling and preclinical modeling.Here,we established two highly penetrant hNSC-derived malignant glioma models,which resemble the histopathology and transcriptional heterogeneity of human GBM.Integrating time-series analyses of whole-exome sequencing,bulk and single-cell RNA-seq,we reconstructed gliomagenic trajectories,and identified a persistent NSC-like population at all stages of tumorigenesis.Through trajectory analyses and lineage tracing,we showed that tumor progression is primarily driven by multi-step transcriptional reprogramming and fate-switches in the NSC-like cells,which sequentially generate malignant heterogeneity and induce tumor phenotype transitions.We further uncovered stage-specific oncogenic cascades,and among the candidate genes we functionally validated C1QL1 as a new glioma-promoting factor.Importantly,the neurogenic-to-gliogenic switch in NSC-like cells marks an early stage characterized by a burst of oncogenic alterations,during which transient AP-1 inhibition is sufficient to inhibit gliomagenesis.Together,our results reveal previously undercharacterized molecular dynamics and fate choices driving de novo gliomagenesis from hNSCs,and provide a blueprint for potential early-stage treatment/diagnosis for GBM. | Xiaofei Wang Ran Zhou Yanzhen Xiong Lingling Zhou Xiang Yan Manli Wang Fan Li Chuanxing Xie Yiming Zhang Zongyao Huang Chaoqiong Ding Kaidou Shi Weida Li Yu Liu Zhongwei Cao Zhen-Ning Zhang Shengtao Zhou Chong Chen Yan Zhang Lu Chen Yuan Wang | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,6: | 8 |

| 4 | Dynamic Stability Analysis of Wedge in Rock Slope Based on Kinetic Vector Method显示文摘A new method(kinetic vector method, KVM) is presented for analyzing the dynamic stability of wedge in rock slope. The dynamic analysis is carried out based on three dimensional distinct element code(3DEC), and the kinetic inertial force of the wedge under seismic loading can be obtained via calculating the net vectorial nodal force of the finite difference grid. Then, the factor of safety(FOS) of the wedge can be calculated based on limit equilibrium method(LEM) at each dynamic analysis step, therefore time series of the FOS for whole earthquake process can be obtained. For the purpose of evaluating the entire dynamic stability of the wedge, dynamic factor of safety(DFOS) is proposed and defined as a numerical value corresponding with a given rate of probability guarantee based on reliability theory. Consequently, the KVM inherits the merits of the LEM and also has fully nonlinear dynamic analysis capabilities, and the feasibility and correctness of the KVM are tested by an example given by Hoek and Bray(1981). | 7 | Preparation of Ti-based Yb-doped SnO_(2)-RuO_(2) electrode and electrochemical oxidation treatment of coking wastewater显示文摘In this study,the Ti/SnO_(2)-RuO_(2) electrodes with different Yb contents were prepared by sol-gel method and thermal decomposition method,and the surface morphology and crystal structure of the electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD),the electrochemical properties of the electrodes were tested by linear sweep voltammetry(LSV) and cyclic voltammetry(CV).The electrochemical oxidation device was constructed with Yb-doped Ti/SnO_(2)-RuO_(2) electrode as the anode and titanium plate as the cathode,and the electrochemical oxidation effect and product changes of the anode on co king wastewater were investigated.The results show that the surface of the electrode is flat with high crystallinity of SnO_(2) and RuO_(2) crystals at1.5% Yb doping,and the LSV and CV curves indicate that the Yb doping of 1.5% increases the oxygen precipitation potential and electrocatalytic oxidation activity of the electrode.When the electrode with Yb doping of 1.5% is the anode with current density of 10 mA/cm^(2) electrochemical oxidation time of 30 min,the electrode can remove chemical oxygen demand(COD) up to 85.06%,total organic carbon(TOC) up to 60.59% and UV_(254) from 1.594 to 0.507 for coking wastewater.Gas chromatography(GC-MS),UV-vis and three-dimensional fluorescence results of coking wastewater before and after treatment show that large toxic substances in coking wastewater are degraded to low toxic organic substances,and most soluble organic substances are degraded and transformed.This study provides the possibility of basic research for the engineering practice of electrochemical oxidation for the treatment of coking wastewater. | Weida Wang Ke Wang Wenting Hao Tingting Zhang Yijie Liu Linghong Yu Weiping Li | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,5: | 2 |
| 8 | The association of grip strength with cardiovascular diseases and all-cause mortality in people with hypertension:Findings from the Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology China Study显示文摘Background:Both hypertension and grip strength(GS)are predictors of mortality and cardiovascular disease(CVD),but whether these risk factors interact to affect CVD and all-cause mortality is unknown.This study sought to investigate the associations of GS with the risk of major CVD incidence,CVD mortality,and all-cause mortality in patients with hypertension.Methods:GS was measured using a Jamar dynamometer(Sammons Preston,Bolingbrook,IL,USA)in participants aged 3570 years from 12 provinces included in the Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology China Study.Cox frailty proportional hazards models were used to examine the associations of GS and hypertension and the outcomes of all-cause mortality and CVD incidence/mortality.Results:Among 39,862 participants included in this study,15,964 reported having hypertension,and 9095 had high GS at baseline.After a median follow-up of 8.9 years(interquartile range,6.79.9 years),1822 participants developed major CVD,and 1250 deaths occurred(388 as a result of CVD).Compared with normotensive participants with high GS,hypertensive patients with high GS had a higher risk of major CVD incidence(hazard ratio(HR)=2.39;95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.863.06;p<0.001)or CVD mortality(HR=3.11;95%CI:1.596.06;p<0.001)but did not have a significantly increased risk of all-cause mortality(HR=1.24;95%CI:0.921.68;p=0.159).These risks were further increased if hypertensive participants whose GS level was low(major CVD incidence,HR=3.31,95%CI:2.604.22,p<0.001;CVD mortality,HR=4.99,95%CI:2.649.43,p<0.001;and all-cause mortality,HR=1.93,95%CI:1.472.53,p<0.001).Conclusion:The present study demonstrates that low GS is associated with the highest risk of major CVD incidence,CVD mortality,and all-cause mortality among hypertensive patients.High levels of GS appear to mitigate long-term mortality risk among hypertensive patients. | Weida Liu Darryl P Leong Bo Hu Lap AhTse Sumathy Rangarajan Yang Wang Chuangshi Wang Fanghong Lu Yindong Li Salim Yusuf Lisheng Liu Wei Li | 2021 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2021,10,6: | 2 |
| 9 | Stoichiometric effect on electrical and near-infrared photodetection properties of full-composition-range GaAs1−xSbx nanowires显示文摘As one of the most important narrow bandgap ternary semiconductors, GaAs1−xSbx nanowires (NWs) have attracted extensive attention recently, due to the superior hole mobility and the tunable bandgap, which covers the whole near-infrared (NIR) region, for technological applications in next-generation high-performance electronics and NIR photodetection. However, it is still a challenge to the synthesis of high-quality GaAs1−xSbx NWs across the entire range of composition, resulting in the lack of correlation investigation among stoichiometry, microstructure, electronics, and NIR photodetection. Here, we demonstrate the success growth of high-quality GaAs1−xSbx NWs with full composition range by adopting a simple and low-cost surfactant-assisted solid source chemical vapor deposition method. All of the as-prepared NWs are uniform, smooth, and straight, without any phase segregation in all stoichiometric compositions. The lattice constants of each NW composition have been well correlated with the chemical stoichiometry and confirmed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Raman spectrum. Moreover, with the increase of Sb concentration, the hole mobility of the as-fabricated field-effect-transistors and the responsivity and detectivity of the as-fabricated NIR photodetectors increase accordingly. | 15 | A multi-objective power flow optimization control strategy for a power split plug-in hybrid electric vehicle using game theory显示文摘Power flow optimization control,which governs the energy flow among engine,battery,and motor,plays a very important role in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles(PHEVs).Its performance directly affects the fuel economy of PHEVs.For the purpose of improving fuel economy,the electric system including battery and motor will be frequently scheduled,which would affect battery life.Therefore,a multi-objective optimization mechanism taking fuel economy and battery life into account is necessary,which is also a research focus in field of hybrid vehicles.Motivated by this issue,this paper proposes a multi-objective power flow optimization control strategy for a power split PHEV using game theory.Firstly,since the demand power of driver which is necessary for the power flow optimization control,cannot be known in advance,the demand power of driver can be modelled using a Markov chain to obtain predicted demand power.Secondly,based on the predicted demand power,the multi-objective optimization control problem is transformed into a game problem.A novel non-cooperative game model between engine and battery is established,and the benefit function with fuel economy and battery life as the optimization objective is proposed.Thirdly,under the premise of satisfying various constraints,the participants of the above game maximize their own benefit function to obtain the Nash equilibrium,which comprises of optimal power split scheme.Finally,the proposed strategy is verified compared with two baseline strategies,and results show that the proposed strategy can reduce equivalent fuel consumption by about 15%compared with baseline strategy 1,and achieve similar fuel economy while greatly extend battery life simultaneously compared with baseline strategy 2. | WANG WeiDa WANG WeiQi YANG Chao LIU Cheng YANG LiuQuan SUN XiaoXia XIANG ChangLe | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,12: | 1 |

| 20 | Topology Optimization of Metamaterial Microstructures for Negative Poisson’s Ratio under Large Deformation Using a Gradient-Free Method显示文摘Negative Poisson’s ratio(NPR)metamaterials are attractive for their unique mechanical behaviors and potential applications in deformation control and energy absorption.However,when subjected to significant stretching,NPR metamaterials designed under small strain assumption may experience a rapid degradation in NPR performance.To address this issue,this study aims to design metamaterials maintaining a targeted NPR under large deformation by taking advantage of the geometry nonlinearity mechanism.A representative periodic unit cell is modeled considering geometry nonlinearity,and its topology is designed using a gradient-free method.The unit cell microstructural topologies are described with the material-field series-expansion(MFSE)method.The MFSE method assumes spatial correlation of the material distribution,which greatly reduces the number of required design variables.To conveniently design metamaterials with desired NPR under large deformation,we propose a two-stage gradient-free metamaterial topology optimization method,which fully takes advantage of the dimension reduction benefits of the MFSE method and the Kriging surrogate model technique.Initially,we use homogenization to find a preliminary NPR design under a small deformation assumption.In the second stage,we begin with this preliminary design and minimize deviations in NPR from a targeted value under large deformation.Using this strategy and solution technique,we successfully obtain a group of NPR metamaterials that can sustain different desired NPRs in the range of[−0.8,−0.1]under uniaxial stretching up to 20% strain.Furthermore,typical microstructure designs are fabricated and tested through experiments.The experimental results show good consistency with our numerical results,demonstrating the effectiveness of the present gradientfree NPR metamaterial design strategy. | Weida Wu Yiqiang Wang Zhonghao Gao Pai Liu | 2024 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,5: | 0 |
