| 1 | Optimization on conventional and electric air-cycle refrigeration systems of aircraft: A short-cut method and analysis显示文摘The air-cycle refrigeration system is widely used in commercial and military aircraft,and its efficiency greatly affects aircraft performance.Nowadays,this system requires a more efficient design and optimization method.In this paper,a short-cut optimization method with high efficiency and effectiveness is introduced for both conventional and electric air-cycle refrigeration systems.Based on the system characteristics,a four-layer parameter matching algorithm is designed which avoids computational difficulty caused by simultaneous equations.Fuel penalty is chosen as the objective function of optimization;design variables are reduced based on sensitivity analysis to improve optimization efficiency.The results show that the 3-variable optimization of the conventional air-cycle refrigeration system can obtain almost the same results as the traditional 6-variable optimization in that these two optimizations can both significantly reduce the fuel penalty.However,the computer running time of the 3-variable optimization is much shorter than that of the 6-variable optimization.The optimal fuel penalty of the electric air-cycle refrigeration system is lower than that of the conventional one.This study can provide reference for optimizing the aircycle refrigeration system of aircraft. | Hongsheng JIANG Sujun DONG Hainan ZHANG Fengming AI Zhiwei ZHANG Jun WANG | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7: | 6 |
| 2 | Retardant effect of dihydroartemisinin on ulcerative colitis in a JAK2/STAT3-dependent manner显示文摘Dihydroartemisinin(DHA)is a semi-synthetic derivative and the main active metabolite of artemisinin.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of DHA on the ulcerative colitis(UC)in both in vivo and in vitro models.Weight,survival rate,colon length,and Disease Activity Index score were used to evaluate the severity of colitis.Reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were used to detect the expressions of cytokines interleukin(IL)-1,IL-1β,IL-4,IL-6,IL-10,IL-12,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).The expressions of Janus kinase 2(JAK2)and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3),and the phosphorylation of JAK2(p-JAK2)and STAT3(p-STAT3),were measured by western blot analysis.Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expressions of tight junction proteins.We found that the weights and colon lengths of mice in dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)+DHA group were significantly lower and longer than those in the DSS group,respectively.Compared with those in the DSS group,the expressions of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-17,and TNF-αin the DSS+DHA and DSS+5-aminosalicylic acid(5-ASA)groups were decreased,while the expressions of IL-4 and IL-10 were significantly upregulated.DHA largely increased the expressions of zonula occludens-1 and occludin.Western blot analysis and/or immunohistochemical staining analysis showed that the expressions of JAK2,STAT3,p-JAK2,and p-STAT3 in DSS+DHA and DSS+5-ASA groups were significantly lower than those in DSS group.DHA has a specific therapeutic effect on UC.The anti-inflammatory mechanism of DHA is related to the blockage of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway.These findings provide evidence that DHA may be a useful drug and is expected to become a promising new treatment for human UC. | Mingrui Jiang Guangjun Zhong Yichao Zhu Liuhua Wang Yuzhe He Qiannan Sun Xiaoqing Wu Xiaolan You Sujun Gao Dong Tang Daorong Wang | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,9: | 6 |

| 7 | A digital open-loop Doppler processing prototype for deep-space navigation显示文摘A prototype based on digital radio technology with associated open-loop Doppler signal processing techniques has been developed to measure a spacecraft's line-of-sight velocity. The prototype was tested in China's Chang'E-1 lunar mission relying on S-band telemetry signals transmitted by the sat-ellite,with results showing that the residuals had a RMS value of ~3 mm/s (1σ ) using 1-sec integration,which is consistent with the Chinese conventional USB (Unified S-Band) tracking system. Such preci-sion is mainly limited by the short-term stability of the atomic (e.g. rubidium) clock at the uplink ground station. It can also be improved with proper calibration to remove some effects of the transmission media (such as solar plasma,troposphere and ionosphere),and a longer integration time (e.g. down to 0.56 mm/s at 34 seconds) allowed by the spacecraft dynamics. The tracking accuracy can also be in-creased with differential methods that may effectively remove most of the long-term drifts and some of the short-term uncertainties of the uplink atomic clock,thereby further reducing the residuals to the 1 mm/s level. Our experimental tracking data have been used in orbit determination for Chang'E-1,while other applications (such as the upcoming YH-1 Mars orbiter) based on open-loop Doppler tracking will be initiated in the future. A centrifuge with a two-meter long rotational arm was used to simulate the acceleration magnitude up to 9 g and three various acceleration directions. Three test sections with different geometric parameters were applied. The volume concentration of Al_2O_3 nanoparticles with an average diameter of 13 nm was varied from 0.07% to 0.1%. The mass flow rate and vapor quality were in ranges of 3–6 kg/h and 0.4–1.0%, respectively. The effects of the mass flow rate, microchannel aspect ratio,vapor quality, nanoparticle volume concentration, and acceleration direction and magnitude were analyzed in a systematic manner. Experimental results showed that the acceleration direction and magnitude had significant influences on the boiling heat transfer. The heat transfer under configuration C was found to be superior to that under configurations A and B. | 18 | Comparative risk of acute kidney injury among cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors显示文摘With the development and introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)in cancer patients,immune-related side effects have increasingly attracted attention.However,the risks of immune-related renal toxicity are poorly characterized.In this study,we performed a network meta-analysis(NMA)of ICI-related randomized clinical trials(RCTs)to elucidate the comparative risk of acute kidney injury(AKI)in cancer patients receiving different ICIs.We also sought to identify other factors potentially affecting the risk of AKI.PubMed and EMBASE were searched for peer-reviewed trial reports published between January 2000 and May 2021.Eligible studies were RCTs studying ICIs in cancer patients and reporting AKI data.We performed a frequentist NMA to evaluate the risk ratios for grade 1-5 and grade 3-5 AKI between the treatment groups.We also assessed the absolute incidence of AKI in the ICI-containing arm using traditional direct meta-analysis.Once significant heterogeneity was detected in a traditional direct meta-analysis,multivariable meta-regression analysis was applied to identify factors that significantly affected the absolute incidence of AKI.A total of 85 RCTs were included in this study.In the NMA for the risk of grade 1-5 and 3-5 AKI,ipilimumab showed a significantly higher risk than avelumab and durvalumab,whereas 1 mg/kg nivolumab plus 3 mg/kg ipilimumab(N1I3)showed a significantly higher risk than other groups.In terms of treatment ranking,durvalumab±low-dose tremelimumab and avelumab were consistently among the top three safest treatments for grade 1-5 or 3-5 AKI,whereas N1I3,ipilimumab and tremelimumab were consistently among the top three treatments with the highest risk for grade 1-5 or 3-5 AKI.Compared with other cancers,renal cell carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma showed a significantly higher risk of AKI.The incidence of AKI was significantly higher with ICI+chemotherapy than with ICI monotherapy.In this NMA involving largescale up-to-date ICI trials,we demonstrated the comparative safety of existing ICI drugs for grade 1-5 and grade 3-5 AKI.Based on data from the ICI arms of these trials,we also revealed several potential risk factors for immune-related AKI,including tumor type and treatment paradigm. | Fei Liu ZixianWang Xiaofan Li Zhen Zhang Yue Yang Junquan Chen Dinghua Chen Lingling Wu Xiangyu Liu Sujun Han Fangming Wang Wasilijiang Wahafu Yibo Gao Shancheng Ren Nianzeng Xing Guangyan Cai Xiangmei Chen | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023,43,2: | 1 |
