7High-speed visible light communication based on micro-LED:A technology with wide applications in next generation communication显示文摘The evolution of next-generation cellular networks is aimed at creating faster,more reliable solutions.Both the next-generation 6G network and the metaverse require high transmission speeds.Visible light communication(VLC)is deemed an important ancillary technology to wireless communication.It has shown potential for a wide range of applications in next-generation communication.Micro light-emitting diodes(μLEDs)are ideal light sources for high-speed VLC,owing to their high modulation bandwidths.In this review,an overview ofμLEDs for VLC is presented.Methods to improve the modulation bandwidth are discussed in terms of epitaxy optimization,crystal orientation,and active region structure.Moreover,electroluminescent white LEDs,photoluminescent white LEDs based on phosphor or quantum-dot color conversion,andμLED-based detectors for VLC are introduced.Finally,the latest high-speed VLC applications and the application prospects of VLC in 6G are introduced,including underwater VLC and artificial intelligence-based VLC systems.Tingwei Lu Xiangshu Lin Wenan Guo Chang-Ching Tu Shibiao Liu Chun-Jung Lin Zhong Chen Hao-Chung Kuo Tingzhu Wu 2022Opto-Electronic Science2022,1,12:1

10Dissecting peri-implantation development using cultured human embryos and embryo-like assembloids显示文摘Studies of cultured embryos have provided insights into human peri-implantation development.However,detailed knowledge of peri-implantation lineage development as well as underlying mechanisms remains obscure.Using 3D-cultured human embryos,herein we report a complete cell atlas of the early post-implantation lineages and decipher cellular composition and gene signatures of the epiblast and hypoblast derivatives.In addition,we develop an embryo-like assembloid(E-assembloid)by assembling naive hESCs and extraembryonic cells.Using human embryos and E-assembloids,we reveal that WNT,BMP and Nodal signaling pathways synergistically,but functionally differently,orchestrate human peri-implantation lineage development.Specially,we dissect mechanisms underlying extraembryonic mesoderm and extraembryonic endoderm specifications.Finally,an improved E-assembloid is developed to recapitulate the epiblast and hypoblast development and tissue architectures in the pregastrulation human embryo.Our findings provide insights into human peri-implantation development,and the E-assembloid offers a useful model to disentangle cellular behaviors and signaling interactions that drive human embryogenesis.Zongyong Ai Baohua Niu Yu Yin Lifeng Xiang Gaohui Shi Kui Duan Sile Wang Yingjie Hu Chi Zhang Chengting Zhang Lujuan Rong Ruize Kong Tingwei Chen Yixin Guo Wanlu Liu Nan Li Shumei Zhao Xiaoqing Zhu Xuancheng Mai Yonggang Li Ze Wu Yi Zheng Jianping Fu Weizhi Ji Tianqing Li 2023Cell Research2023,33,9:0
11Drying kinetics of soy protein isolate-corn starch film during preparation and its moisture adsorption characteristics during storage显示文摘To better understand the mass transfer process of moisture in the soy protein isolate-corn starch(SPI-CS)films during preparation and storage process,the drying kinetics model of SPI-CS films with different formation conditions during the drying process and the moisture adsorption characteristics of the SPI-CS films under different humidity conditions were investigated.Within the range of experimental conditions,the moisture migration rule in the SPI-CS films during the drying preparation was combined with the Page model which was expressed as MR=exp(-kt^(n)).It was found that the adsorption equilibrium needed shorter time(about 3 h)when the SPI-CS films existed in the environment with lower humidity(RH<54%).Additionally,the secondorder adsorption kinetic equation was successful to describe the moisture adsorption characteristic of the SPICS films during storage under different humidity conditions.Tingwei Zhu Jinyu Yang Wanting Qin Yadong Tian Yingying Wang Xingfeng Guo 2023Grain & Oil Science and Technology2023,6,3:0
