1Optimal PD/PID control of smart base isolated buildings equipped with piezoelectric friction dampers显示文摘Long-period pulses in near-field earthquakes lead to large displacements in the base of isolated structures.To dissipate energy in isolated structures using semi-active control,piezoelectric friction dampers(PFD) can be employed.The performance of a PFD is highly dependent on the strategy applied to adjust its contact force.In this paper,the seismic control of a benchmark isolated building equipped with PFD using PD/PID controllers is developed.Using genetic algorithms,these controllers are optimized to create a balance between the performance and robustness of the closed-loop structural system.One advantage of this technique is that the controller forces can easily be estimated.In addition,the structure is equipped with only a single sensor at the base floor to measure the base displacement.Considering seven pairs of earthquakes and nine performance indices,the performance of the closed-loop system is evaluated.Then,the results are compared with those given by two well-known methods:the maximum possive operation of piezoelectric friction dampers and LQG controllers.The simulation results show that the proposed controllers perform better than the others in terms of simultaneous reduction of floor acceleration and maximum displacement of the isolator.Moreover,they are able to reduce the displacement of the isolator systems for different earthquakes without losing the advantages of isolation.Sadegh Etedali Mohammad Reza Sohrabi Saeed Tavakoli 2013Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2013,12,1:17
2四丁基铵钨多酸[TBA]2[W6O19]:无溶剂条件下通过不对称汉斯反应快速合成聚氢化喹啉的新型可重复使用的非均相催化剂(英文)显示文摘A novel, efficient, and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives by a one‐pot, four‐component unsymmetrical Hantzsch condensation of dimedone, aldehydes, ethyl acetoacetate, and ammonium acetate in the presence of a catalytic amount of tetrabutylammonium hexatungstate [TBA]2[W6O19] under solvent‐free conditions has been developed. The results showed that this heterogeneous catalyst has high catalytic activity and the desired products were obtained in good to high yields. 4Performance improvement of solution-processed CdS/CdTe solar cells with a thin compact TiO_2 buffer layer显示文摘The device performance of CdS/CdTe solar cells largely depends on not only the back ohmic contact, but also the conformality of Cd S window layer coating. In order to reduce the light absorption loss in Cd S, the Cd S thickness is usually less than 100 nm. However, pinholes in Cd S and non-conformal coverage of Cd S on transparent conducting oxide layer will cause shunting thus leading to device performance degradation and failure. In this paper, low-temperature and low-cost fabrication methods, i.e., chemical bath deposition and electrochemical deposition, were used to deposit Cd S and Cd Te, respectively. It was found that the yield of device was around 20 % due to shunting. In order to alleviate this problem, a compact layer of TiO2 was inserted between the fluorine-doped tin oxide and Cd S as a buffer layer. The thickness effect of TiO2 was studied and showed that devices with thin(20 nm thickness) TiO2 performed better than the counterparts with thick layers. 5采用工艺优化和动力学模型提高铀矿生物柱浸的回收率(英文)显示文摘采用嗜酸氧化亚铁硫杆菌提高轴矿的生物柱浸回收率,利用Plackett-Burman因子设计法研究七因素对铀矿生物柱浸显著性的影响。选取[Fe^(2+)]_(initial)、pH值、通气速率和接种率4个显著性参数进行优化试验,采用一种中心复合设计法研究这些参数对铀矿生物浸出的影响。铀矿生物浸出率最大时((90.27±0.98)%)对应的优化参数如下:[Fe^(2+)]_(initial)=2.89 g/L、通气速率420 mL/min、pH 1.45、接种率6%(体积分数)。[Fe^(2+)]_(initial)对铀矿生物浸出的影响最大。由预测模型得到铀的最大回收率为92.01%,此数据与实验所得结果吻合较好。最佳浸出条件下铀矿浸出渣的分析结果表明,矿物表面形成了黄钾铁矾。最佳浸出条件下铀的生物柱浸率提高,黄钾铁矾沉淀量减少。动力学模型预测结果表明,铀的回收率与Fe^(2+)浓度密切相关。H. 6Changes induced by osmotic stress in the morphology, biochemistry, physiology, anatomy and stomatal parameters of almond species(Prunus L. spp.) grown in vitro显示文摘We investigated the influence of different levels of osmotic stress on growth and development in selected wild almond species(eight Prunus spp.) grown in vitro. The study, while endorsing the efficacy of in vitro screening of auxiliary buds of wild almond for osmotic stress tolerance, showed species variability in its response to osmotic stress. Osmotic stress reduced growth and development of all the species. However, the putative tolerant Prunus spp. showed better performance than the putative susceptible genotypes. On average there was an 80% decrease in shoot dry weight at-1.2 MPa. Reduction in shoot weight was more common in osmotic stress-susceptible species in the section labeled ‘Euamygdalus'. The tolerant Prunus species produced smaller changes in biochemical responses than the sensitive cultivars for malondialdehyde content, catalase activity, relative permeability of protoplast membranes, and net photosynthetic rate. The tolerant species maintained cell integrity better than drought sensitive species. Wild almond species in the section labeled ‘Spartioides'(Prunus arabica(Olivier) Neikle, Prunus glauca (Browicz) A.E. Murray, Prunus scoparia Spach) and ‘Lycioides'(Prunus lycioides Spach, Prunus reuteri Bossi. et Bushe) were best adapted to osmotic stress. 7Effect of Matricaria chamomilla Hydroalcoholic Extract on Cisplatin-induced Neuropathy in Mice显示文摘AIM: Cisplatin-based chemotherapy is a mainstay for the treatment of solid tumors, especially colorectal, ovarian, testicular, bladder, and lung cancer. Studies have shown that cisplatin could have painful effects on human and animal models. Matri-caria chamomilla (MC) has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of MC hydro-alcoholic extract on cisplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy and to compare with morphine in mice. METHODS: Experiments were performed on 60 NMRI male mice weighed 25 g to 30 g which have been divided into 6 groups. The first group received normal saline; the second group received MC hydroalcoholic extract; the third group received cisplatin; the fourth group received MC hydroalcoholic extract and cisplatin, 96 hours before formalin test; the fifth group received morphine and the sixth group received cisplatin and mor-phine. The time of injected hind paw biting and licking time were measured in 5-minute interval for an hour. RESULTS: Results showed that formalin induced significant (P < 0.05) pain response (the first phase: 0-5 min and the second phase: 15-40 min after injection). Administration of MC extract before formalin injection showed significant (P < 0.05) decrease of pain responses in the first and second phase. Administration of cisplatin produced significant (P < 0.05) increase in pain response in both phases of formalin test. Injection of MC extract and cisplatin together have shown that MC is able to decrease the second phase of cisplatin-induced pain sig-nificantly (P < 0.05). Morphine decreased cisplatin-induced pain in the first and second phase of formalin test significantly ( P < 0.05). In comparison morphine has analgesic effects in the first phase and MC extract has anti inflammatory effects in the second phase of formalin test significantly (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: MC and cisplatin have analgesic and painful neuropathic respective effects, and MC hydroalcoholic extract is able to decrease cisplatin-induced pain and inflammation better than morphine.A. 11Ocean Chemistry Revealed by Mineralogical and Geochemical Evidence at the Permian——Triassic Mass Extinction,Offshore the Persian Gulf,Iran显示文摘The Upper Permian Dalan Formation and the Lower Triassic Kangan Formation in the Persian Gulf area are mainly composed of shallow marine facies limestone and dolomite.Two subsurface-cored intervals were investigated in order to understand the original mineralogy and paleoceanic conditions.The decreasing trend of Sr concentration in these deposits shows that aragonite was precipitated during the Late Permian and then gradually changed to calcite toward the Permian-Triassic boundary(PTB).The dissolution rate of aragonite decreased from 60 m below the PTB toward the boundary,with the only exception at 10 m below the Permian-Triassic Boundary(PTB) due to the Permian-Triassic unconformity in this region.The increasing trend of Mg/Ca ratio in a global scale at the end-Permian time shows that the interpreted variation of mineralogy does not result from the change of this ratio.The increasing p_(CO2) and decreasing pH are considered to be the main controlling factors.The increase of Ca^(2+) at the end-Permian time due to the input of meteoric waters is too little to fully compensate this effect.A local maximum of the Si content just at the PTB confirms the input of runoff waters.Vahid TAVAKOLI 2016Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,5:2
12Gene-diet interaction of FTO-rs9939609 gene variant and hypocaloric diet on glycemic control in overweight and obese adults: a systematic review and meta-analysis of clinical trials显示文摘Background:The hypocaloric diets improve glycemic status in obese individuals,but the response to hypocaloric diets in fat mass and obesity-associated gene(FTO)-rs9939609 gene variant is unknown.This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess the gene-diet interaction of FTO-rs9939609 gene variant and hypocaloric diets on glycemic control in overweight and obese adults.Methods:Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,PubMed,ISI Web of Science,Embase,Scopus,and Google scholar were searched up to December 2018,for relevant clinical trials.Mean changes in fasting blood sugar(FBS),serum insulin,and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)were extracted.Results:The pooled analysis of nine studies showed that there was no significant difference between AA/AT and TT genotypes in FBS(weighted mean difference[WMD]=0.01,95%confidence interval[CI]:-1.08,1.10,P=0.984)and serum insulin(WMD=0.20,95%CI:-0.85,1.26;P=0.707)after intervention hypocaloric diets.The overweight/obese participants in AA/AT group showed the greatest reduction in HOMA-IR compared with TT genotype following intervention,and this difference was not statistically significant(WMD=-0.38,95%CI:-0.94,0.16,P=0.167).Conclusion:This meta-analysis suggests that there was no significant difference between AA/AT and TT genotypes of FTO-rs9939609 on FBS,serum insulin level,and insulin resistance in response to hypocaloric diets.Karim Parastouei Hosein Rostami Amirhossein Ahmadi Ramezani Hamidreza Tavakoli Meysam Alipour 2020Chinese Medical Journal2020,,3:2
13Developing a Computer Program for Detailed Study of Planing Hull's Spray Based on Morabito's Approach显示文摘Recently, Morabito(2010) has studied the water spray phenomena in planing hulls and presented new analytical equations. However, these equations have not been used for detailed parametric studies of water spray around planing hulls. In this paper, a straight forward analysis is conducted to apply these analytical equations for finding the spray geometry profile by developing a computer program based on presented computational process. The obtained results of the developed computer program are compared against existing data in the literature and favorable accuracy is achieved. Parametric studies have been conducted for different physical parameters. Positions of spray apex are computed and three dimensional profiles of spray are examined. It is concluded that spray height increases by an increase in the speed coefficient or the deadrise angle. Ultimately, a computational process is added to Savitsky's method and variations of spray apex are computed for different velocities. It is shown that vertical, lateral, and longitudinal positions of spray increase as the craft speed increases. On the other hand, two new angles are defined in top view and it is concluded that they have direct relation with the trim angle. 15Assessment of seismic amplification factor of excavation with support system显示文摘Retaining walls have been used in many construction projects such as for road and inclined surfaces protection. The damage caused by an earthquake depends on the fundamental frequency, amplitude and the duration of the seismic motion. These parameters strongly depend on the seismic properties of the layers that are near the surface. In the study of retaining walls, in addition to the infl uence of soil, the infl uence of topography is also important. In the present study, site response analysis is performed by using fi nite element software PLAXIS to obtain the eff ect of various factors such as embedded length of the sheet pile, underground water table, length and angle of the nail, shear wave velocity of soil on site eff ect and dynamic response. Moreover, for better understanding of the eff ect of the above parameters, the stability analysis was performed by using shear reduction method. The results show that an increase in the embedded length of the sheet pile and the length of nailing causes an increase in the amplifi cation factor. 16Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous extract of saffron(Crocus sativus L.) wastages and its antibacterial activity against six bacteria显示文摘Objective: To synthesis silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs) by using extract of saffron(Crocus sativus L.) wastages and to test their antibacterial activity against six bacteria.Methods: In this paper, the synthesis of Ag NPs using aqueous extract of saffron wastage as a green method without any chemical stabilizer and reducer is demonstrated. The synthesized Ag NPs were determined by UV–vis spectrum, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy analysis.Results: UV–vis spectrum showed a peak at 450 nm due to excitation of surface plasmon vibrations. Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy showed that nanoparticles were capped with plant secondary metabolites. X-ray diffraction analysis also demonstrated that the size range of the synthesized nanoparticles was 12–20 nm. Transmission electron microscope image illustrated Ag NPs with spherical shape and an average size of15 nm. The result of antibacterial activities showed that the biosynthesized Ag NPs had an inhibiting activity against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia, Shigella flexneri and Bacillus subtilis.Conclusions: The biosynthesized Ag NPs showed significant antibacterial effect against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia, Shigella flexneri and Bacillus subtilis, so, it can be used in biomedical applications.Ghodsieh Bagherzade Maryam Manzari Tavakoli Mohmmad Hasan Namaei 2017Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2017,7,3:2
