| 1 | 福建三明格氏栲天然林林窗凋落物-土壤的生态化学计量特征显示文摘在前期调查的基础上,在福建三明的格氏栲(Castanopsis kawakamii Hay.)天然林内划分不同尺度的林窗(大林窗、中林窗和小林窗,平均面积分别为199.29、78.53和37.86 m2),并以非林窗为对照,研究林窗内凋落物-土壤C、N、P和K的生态化学计量特征,并运用冗余分析(RDA)方法探讨了凋落物-土壤生态化学计量特征之间的关联性。结果显示:大林窗的凋落物C含量、N含量、C∶N比、C∶P比、C∶K比、N∶P比和N∶K比以及土壤C含量、N含量、P含量、K含量和C∶N比均最高,小林窗的凋落物P和K含量以及土壤C∶P比、C∶K比、N∶P比和N∶K比均最高,但各尺度林窗间凋落物和土壤的P∶K比总体差异不明显。在相同尺度林窗中,凋落物的C、N和P含量以及C∶N比、C∶P比、C∶K比、N∶K比和P∶K比总体上均显著高于土壤,但凋落物的K含量则显著低于土壤。与非林窗相比,小林窗的凋落物P和K含量以及土壤C含量、C∶N比、C∶K比和N∶K比,中林窗的土壤P含量,大林窗的土壤C、N和P含量以及C∶N比、C∶K比和N∶K比均显著提高,但各尺度林窗内凋落物-土壤的其他生态化学计量特征均显著降低。RDA分析结果显示:大林窗的凋落物P∶K比、中林窗的凋落物N∶P比和P含量以及小林窗的凋落物P含量对土壤肥力影响最大,而非林窗的凋落物C、P和K含量均对土壤肥力影响较大;且大林窗和中林窗的凋落物P含量和N∶P比分别与土壤P含量和N∶P比呈负相关,小林窗和非林窗的凋落物P含量和N∶P比分别与土壤P含量和N∶P比呈正相关。综合分析表明:格氏栲天然林不同尺度林窗内凋落物-土壤生态化学计量特征有较大差异,其中,大林窗的土壤肥力较高,且林窗土壤肥力主要受凋落物中P含量的限制。建议根据林窗内土壤N∶P比采取适宜的施肥管理措施,以促进植物生长并丰富物种多样性。 | 冯雪萍 刘金福 BUAJAN Supaporn 何中声 江蓝 洪伟 施友文 | 2017 | 植物资源与环境学报2017,26,4: | 9 |
| 2 | Anti-herpes simplex virus activities of monogalactosyl diglyceride and digalactosyl diglyceride from Clinacanthus nutans, a traditional Thai herbal medicine显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the monogalactosyl diglyceride(MGDG) and digalactosyl diglyceride(DGDG) from Clinacanthus nutans(C. nutans) for their in vitro antiviral activities against herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1) and type 2(HSV-2) by plaque reduction assay.Methods: MGDG and DGDG were extracted with chloroform from C. nutans leaves.MGDG and DGDG were separated from chloroform crude extract using column chromatography, characterized by thin layer chromatography and quantified by high performance liquid chromatography. The anti HSV-1 and 2 activity against pre-treatment and posttreatment of the compounds was evaluated using plaque reduction assay. The cytotoxicity of the extract and the compounds on Vero cells were performed by MTT assay.Results: MGDG and DGDG obtained by column chromatography showed identical profiles as standard MGDG and standard DGDG using thin layer chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography. MGDG and DGDG from C. nutans showed 100%inhibition of HSV-1 replication at the post step of infection at noncytotoxic concentration with IC50 values of 36.00 and 40.00 mg/m L, and HSV-2 at 41.00 and 43.20 mg/mL,respectively. Moreover, MGDG and DGDG from C. nutans were demonstrated to have antiherpes simplex activity at the same level as standard synthetic compounds. In contrast, pretreatment of Vero cells with MGDG and DGDG before HSV-1 and HSV-2 infection did not show inhibitory effect against these viruses. | 4 | Effects of Cooking on Anthocyanin Concentration and Bioactive Antioxidant Capacity in Glutinous and Non-Glutinous Purple Rice显示文摘Purple rice is a source of bioactive antioxidants for rice consumers. Loss of the major antioxidant compounds after a range of cooking processes was evaluated by measuring the changes in anthocyanin concentration(ATC) and antioxidant capacity(DPPH activity) of four non-glutinous and four glutinous genotypes. However, soaking in water prior to cooking generally decreased more ATC and antioxidant capacity in non-glutinous than in glutinous genotypes. Wet cooking(WC) and soaking before wet cooking(S-WC) led to lose almost all the ATC and antioxidant capacity with only slight variation between genotypes. In the glutinous genotype Pieisu, which had the highest raw rice ATC, ATC remained the highest when cooked by the WC method. By contrast, almost no ATC remained after WC and S-WC in the low ATC genotypes such as Kum Doi Saket. Overall, the loss of ATC was greater in non-glutinous than in glutinous genotypes for both WC and S-WC methods, but the reverse occurred for antioxidant capacity. WC using electric rice cooker retained higher ATC than the pressure cooking. | 5 | Rhinacanthus nasutus leaf improves metabolic abnormalities in high-fat diet-induced obese mice显示文摘Objective:To investigate the effect of Rhinacanthus nasutus(R.nasutus) leaf extract on impaired glucose and lipid metabolism in obese ICR mice.Methods:Obesity was induced in the male ICR mice by feeding them a high-fat diet(60 kcal%fat) for 12 weeks.After the first six weeks of the diet,the obese mice were administered with the water extract of R.nasutus leaves at 250 and 500 mg/kg per day for the next six weeks.Subsequently,the blood glucose,lipid profiles,insulin,leptin,and adiponectin levels were measured.The liver and adipose tissues were excised for histopathological examination and protein expression study.Results:After six weeks of the treatment,R.nasutus extract(at 250 and 500 mg/kg per day) was found to reduce the elevated blood glucose level,improve the insulin sensitivity,decrease the serum leptin,and increase the serum adiponectin levels.The obese mice treated with R.nasutus were found to have a reduction in the increased lipid concentrations in their serum and liver tissues.Moreover,treatment with R.nasutus reduced the fat accumulation in the liver and the large adipocyte size in the fat tissues.Interestingly,the administration with R.nasutus extract was marked by an increase in the hepatic peroxisome proliferators-activated receptor alpha,fat cell adiponectin,and glucose transporter 4 proteins.Conclusions:To the best of our knowledge,the present study is the first report on the impact of R.nasutus extract in improving the impaired glucose and lipid metabolism in high-fat diet-induced obesity in mice via stimulating the insulin sensitivity in the liver and adipose tissues. | Supaporn Wannasiri Pritsana Piyabhan Jarinyaporn Naowaboot | 2016 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2016,6,1: | 2 |

| 7 | Nitrogen removal efficiencies and microbial communities in full-scale IFAS and MBBR municipal wastewater treatment plants at high COD:N ratio显示文摘The relative locations of AOB,NOB,and DNB were examined for three different kinds of carriers in two types of hybrid bioflm process configurations:integrated fixed-film activated sludge(IFAS)and moving bed bioflm reactor(MBBR)processes.IFAS water resource recovery facilities(WRRFs)used Anodkainess^TM K1 carriers(KC)at Broomfield,Colorado,USA and polypropylene resin crriers(R)at Fukuok,Japa,whic MBBR WRFS used KC crier at South Adams Couty,Colorado,USA and sponge carriers(SC)at Saga,Japan.Influent COD to N ratios ranged from 8:1 to 15:1.The COD and BOD removal efficiencies were high(96%-98%);NH^+4-N and TN removal efficiencies were more varied at 72%98%and 64%-77%,respectively.The extent of TN removal was higher at high SRT,high COD:N ratio and low DO concentration in the anoxic tank.In IFAS,RC with high specific surface area.(SSA)maintained higher AOB population than KC.Sponge carriers with high SSA maintained higher overall bacteria population than KC in MBBR systems.However,the DNB were not more abundant in high SSA crriers.The diversity of AOB,NOB,and DNB was fairly similar in different carriers.Nitrosomonas sp.dominated over Nitrosospira sp.while denitrifying bacteria included Rhodobacter sp.,Sulfuritalea sp.,.Rubrivivax sp:Paracoccus sp..and Pseudomonas sp.The results from this work suggest that high SRT,high.COD:N ratio,low DO concentration in anoxic tanks,and carriers with greater surface area may be recommended for high COD,BOD and TN removal in WRRFs with IFAS and MBBR systerms. | Supaporn Phanwilai Naluporn Kangwannarakul Pongsak(Lek)Noophan Tamao Kasahara Akihiko Terada Junko Munakata-Marr Linda Ann Figueroa | 2020 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,6: | 2 |
