1Biofilm Microenvironment-Responsive Nanotheranostics for Dual-Mode Imaging and Hypoxia-Relief-Enhanced Photodynamic Therapy of Bacterial Infections显示文摘The formation of bacterial biofilms closely associates with infectious diseases.Until now,precise diagnosis and effective treatment of bacterial biofilm infections are still in great need.Herein,a novel multifunctional theranostic nanoplatform based on MnO_(2)nanosheets(MnO_(2)NSs)has been designed to achieve pH-responsive dual-mode imaging and hypoxia-relief-enhanced antimicrobial photodynamic therapy(aPDT)of bacterial biofilm infections.In this study,MnO_(2)NSs were modified with bovine serum albumin(BSA)and polyethylene glycol(PEG)and then loaded with chlorin e_(6)(Ce_(6))as photosensitizer to form MnO_(2)-BSA/PEG-Ce_(6)nanosheets(MBP-Ce_(6)NSs).After being delivered into the bacterial biofilm-infected tissues,the MBP-Ce_(6)NSs could be decomposed in acidic biofilm microenvironment and release Ce_(6)with Mn^(2+),which subsequently activate both fluorescence(FL)and magnetic resonance(MR)signals for effective dual-mode FL/MR imaging of bacterial biofilm infections.Meanwhile,MnO_(2)could catalyze the decomposing of H2O_(2)in biofilm-infected tissues into O_(2)and relieve the hypoxic condition of biofilm,which significantly enhances the efficacy of aPDT.An in vitro study showed that MBP-Ce_(6)NSs could significantly reduce the number of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)in biofilms after 635nm laser irradiation.Guided by FL/MR imaging,MRSA biofilm-infected mice can be efficiently treated by MBP-Ce_(6)NSs-based aPDT.Overall,MBP-Ce_(6)NSs not only possess biofilm microenvironment-responsive dual-mode FL/MR imaging ability but also have significantly enhanced aPDT efficacy by relieving the hypoxia habitat of biofilm,which provides a promising theranostic nanoplatform for bacterial biofilm infections.Weijun Xiu Siyu Gan Qirui Wen Qiu Qiu Sulai Dai Heng Dong Qiang Li Lihui Yuwen Lixing Weng Zhaogang Teng Yongbin Mou Lianhui Wang 2020Research2020,,1:7

13Pharmacological inhibition of cannabinoid receptor 1 stimulates gastric release of nesfatin-1 via the mTOR pathway显示文摘AIM To determine whether Nucb2/nesfatin1 production is regulated by the cannabinoid system through the intracellular m TOR pathway in the stomach.METHODS Sprague Dawley rats were treated with vehicle, rimonabant, rapamycin or rapamycin+rimonabant. Gastric tissue obtained from the animals was used for biochemical assays: Nucb2 m RNA measurement by real time PCR, gastric Nucb2/nesfatin protein content by western blot, and gastric explants to obtain gastric secretomes. Nucb2/nesfatin levels were measured in gastric secretomes and plasma using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS The inhibition of cannabinoid receptor 1(CB1) by the peripheral injection of an inverse agonist, namely rimonabant, decreases food intake and increases the gastric secretion and circulating levels of Nucb2/nesfatin-1. In addition, rimonabant treatment activates m TOR pathway in the stomach as showed by the increase in pm TOR/m TOR expression in gastric tissue obtained from rimonabant treated animals. These effects were confirmed by the use of a CB1 antagonist, AM281. 15Hierarchically porous cellulose nanofibril aerogel decorated with polypyrrole and nickel-cobalt layered double hydroxide for high-performance nonenzymatic glucose sensors显示文摘With increasing emphasis on green chemistry,biomass-based materials have attracted increased attention regarding the development of highly efficient functional materials.Herein,a new pore-rich cellulose nanofibril aerogel is utilized as a substrate to integrate highly conductive polypyrrole and active nanoflower-like nickel-cobalt layered double hydroxide through in situ chemical polymerization and electrodeposition.This ternary composite can act as an effective self-supported electrode for the electrocatalytic oxidation of glucose.With the synergistic effect of three heterogeneous components,the electrode achieves outstanding glucose sensing performance,including a high sensitivity(851.4μA·mmol^(−1)·L·cm^(−2)),a short response time(2.2 s),a wide linear range(two stages:0.001−8.145 and 8.145−35.500 mmol·L^(−1)),strong immunity to interference,outstanding intraelectrode and interelectrode reproducibility,a favorable toxicity resistance(Cl^(‒)),and a good long-term stability(maintaining 86.0%of the original value after 30 d).These data are superior to those of some traditional glucose sensors using nonbiomass substrates.When determining the blood glucose level of a human serum,this electrode realizes a high recovery rate of 97.07%–98.89%,validating the potential for highperformance blood glucose sensing.Xuanze Li Wenyan Tian Caichao Wan Sulai Liu Xinyi Liu Jiahui Su Huayun Chai Yiqiang Wu 2023Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,10:0

17Multiple focal nodular hyperplasia of liver in pregnant women:a case report显示文摘Focal nodular hyperplasia of the liver(FNH)is a substantial benign liver lesion with an incidence second only to hepatic hemangioma.FNH is a substantial mass with abundant blood supply.It is uncommon in pregnancy,there is no clear evidence of whether FNH is associated with estrogen levels,and more information is needed to determine if FNH increases during pregnancy.A29-year-old pregnant woman who was pregnant for 20+ weeks came to the emergency department of our hospital for a day of abdominal pain and vomiting.For the protection of the fetus,the patient underwent color ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging.The results showed that the benign tumor of the liver was ruptured and the subcapsular hematoma was formed.Meanwhile,the fetus was very healthy.Therefore,after a multidisciplinary discussion,our department performed surgical treatment for this patient.In the end,both the patient and the fetus recovered very well.We first reported a case of multiple focal nodular hyperplasia and rupture of the liver in pregnant women.Surgery is the main method for treating FNH rupture.Song Yinghui Zhong Zhendong Liu Jianming Yi Weiming Liu Sulai Peng Chuang 2021实用休克杂志(中英文)2021,5,2:0
