1Petroleum coke conversion behavior in catalyst-assisted chemical looping combustion显示文摘Efficiently using petroleum coke as fuel and reducing carbon emission meanwhile have become attractive in oil processing industry.The paper is focused on the application of Chemical Looping Combustion(CLC)with petroleum coke,with the purpose of investigating its combustion performance and effects of potassium.Some experiments were performed in a laboratory scale fluidized bed facility with a natural manganese-based oxygen carrier.Experimental results indicated that the coke conversion is very sensitive to reaction temperature.The pre sent natural manganese-based oxygen carrier decorated by K has little effect on the improvement of coke conversion.XRD,SEM-EDX,and H2-TPR were adopted to characterize the reacted oxygen carrier samples.After being decorated by K,the oxygen carrier's capacity of transferring oxygen was decrea sed.A calcination temperature above the melting point of K2 CO3(891℃)shows better oxygen transfer reactivity in comparison to the one calcined at a lower temperature.The natural oxygen carrier used in the work has a high content of Si,which can easily react with K to form K(FeSi2 O6).Further,irrespective of reaction temperature,the coke conversion can be significantly enhanced by decorating the coke with K,with a demonstration of remarkably shorter reaction time,faster average coke gasification rate and higher average carbon conversion rate.Xianyu Liu Huijun Ge Shiwei Ma Shangyi Yin Ping Lu Laihong Shen Hongcun Bai Wei Wang Tao Song 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,9:3
2The electromechanical features of LiNbO_(3) crystal for potential high temperature piezoelectric applications显示文摘Lithium niobate(LiNbO_(3),LN)crystal is a multi-functional material with favorable piezoelectric,nonlinear optical and electro-optic properties.In this study,the electromechanical properties of the radial extensional(RE)and the thickness extensional(TE)modes of the congruent LN are studied and the temperature dependent behaviors are revealed.The RE mode electromechanical coupling factors(kp)for the Y-and Z-oriented discs are calculated and found to be 3.8%and 24.7%,respectively,which are nearly the same as the experimental results of 3.8%and 25.2%,respectively.The maximum RE and thickness shear(TS)modes electromechanical coupling factors are obtained to be 47.6%and 68.5%for the Yx/25and Yx/167crystal cuts,respectively.The LN crystal possesses good temperature stability of the electromechanical coupling factors(RE and TE modes)from 20℃ to 500℃,where the variations of kp and kt for the Y-oriented discs are<8.0%and<1.8%,respectively.Feifei Chen Lingfeng Kong Wei Song Chao Jiang Shiwei Tian Fapeng Yu Lifeng Qin Xian Zhao 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,1:3
3Coupling of the chemical niche and microbiome in the rhizosphere:implications from watermelon grafting显示文摘Grafting is commonly used to overcome soilborne diseases. However, its effects on the rhizodeposits as well as the linkages between the rhizosphere chemical niche and microbiome remained unknown. In this paper,significant negative correlations between the bacterial alpha diversity and both the disease incidence(r = – 0.832,P = 0.005) and pathogen population(r = – 0.786, P = 0.012)were detected. Moreover, our results showed that the chemical diversity not only predicts bacterial alpha diversity but also can impact on overall microbial community structure(beta diversity) in the rhizosphere.Furthermore, some anti-fungal compounds including heptadecane and hexadecane were identified in the rhizosphere of grafted watermelon. We concluded that grafted watermelon can form a distinct rhizosphere chemical niche and thus recruit microbial communities with high diversity. Furthermore, the diverse bacteria and the antifungal compounds in the rhizosphere can potentially serve as biological and chemical barriers, respectively, to hinder pathogen invasion. 7Adaptive navigation assistance based on eye movement features in virtual reality显示文摘Background Navigation assistance is essential for users when roaming virtual reality scenes;however,the traditional navigation method requires users to manually request a map for viewing,which leads to low immersion and poor user experience.Methods To address this issue,we first collected data on who required navigation assistance in a virtual reality environment,including various eye movement features,such as gaze fixation,pupil size,and gaze angle.Subsequently,we used the boosting-based XGBoost algorithm to train a prediction model and finally used it to predict whether users require navigation assistance in a roaming task.Results After evaluating the performance of the model,the accuracy,precision,recall,and F1-score of our model reached approximately 95%.In addition,by applying the model to a virtual reality scene,an adaptive navigation assistance system based on the real-time eye movement data of the user was implemented.Conclusions Compared with traditional navigation assistance methods,our new adaptive navigation assistance method could enable the user to be more immersive and effective while roaming in a virtual reality(VR)environment.Song ZHAO Shiwei CHENG 2023Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware2023,5,3:1

13Annual Occurrence of Calanus sinicus Carcasses in the Jiaozhou Bay and the Adjacent Waters显示文摘The dead proportion of a calanoid copepod Calanus sinicus population was investigated monthly with neutral red staining method at 12 stations in the Jiaozhou Bay and the adjacent waters from December 2008 to November 2009. C. sinicus could be observed through the whole year, with an evident numerical peak from February to April and an extremely low abundance in summer. Annual variation of the dead proportion differed greatly between adult females and copepodites. Dead females were observed only in the southern part and outside the bay sporadically in five months, when the egg production was the most active. Dead proportion of females was usually less than 5%. Dead copepodites could be observed in all but three months in summer in the whole study area, and the proportion varied between 3.8% – 18.2%. Death percentage of copepodites increased significantly in the northern part in January and June, when water temperature exceeded it's favorable limits;however, the fluctuated salinity had no significant effect on the survival of both females and copepodites. Thus the dead proportion of C. sinicus was relatively low in the Jiaozhou Bay, while difference could be observed between females and copepodites. 18Optimization of Empty Pallets Dispatching Based on Different Transportation Modes显示文摘In the pallet pool system, the differentiation of palletized freight volumes in different regions and seasonal transport of certain goods lead to the imbalance of pallets distribution among regions. It is necessary to improve the utilization of pallets through dispatching. The paper analyzes the factors which affect empty pallets dispatching, it includes carbon emission, transportation time and pallet type based on the pallet pool mode of enterprise alliance. On this basis, the optimization model is established with the goal of minimum total dispatching cost. Then, according to the different influences of railway and highway in transportation cost, the dispatching scheme is analyzed and the transportation mode of empty pallets dispatching is determined. Considering the characteristics of model, Cplex is used to solve it. Finally, a case is used to verify the feasibility and superiority of reasonable empty pallets dispatching in different transportation modes, and the transport characteristics of two transportation modes are analyzed. 20Deep learning for predictive mechanical properties of hot-rolled strip in complex manufacturing systems显示文摘Higher requirements for the accuracy of relevant models are put throughout the transformation and upgrade of the iron and steel sector to intelligent production.It has been difficult to meet the needs of the field with the usual prediction model of mechanical properties of hotrolled strip.Insufficient data and difficult parameter adjustment limit deep learning models based on multi-layer networks in practical applications;besides,the limited discrete process parameters used make it impossible to effectively depict the actual strip processing process.In order to solve these problems,this research proposed a new sampling approach for mechanical characteristics input data of hot-rolled strip based on the multi-grained cascade forest(gcForest)framework.According to the characteristics of complex process flow and abnormal sensitivity of process path and parameters to product quality in the hot-rolled strip production,a three-dimensional continuous time series process data sampling method based on time-temperature-deformation was designed.The basic information of strip steel(chemical composition and typical process parameters)is fused with the local process information collected by multi-grained scanning,so that the next link’s input has both local and global features.Furthermore,in the multi-grained scanning structure,a sub sampling scheme with a variable window was designed,so that input data with different dimensions can get output characteristics of the same dimension after passing through the multi-grained scanning structure,allowing the cascade forest structure to be trained normally.Finally,actual production data of three steel grades was used to conduct the experimental evaluation.The results revealed that the gcForest-based mechanical property prediction model outperforms the competition in terms of comprehensive performance,ease of parameter adjustment,and ability to sustain high prediction accuracy with fewer samples.Feifei Li Anrui He Yong Song Zheng Wang Xiaoqing Xu Shiwei Zhang Yi Qiang Chao Liu 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,6:0
