2Effect of composite supports on the methanation activity of Co-Mo-based sulphur-resistant catalysts显示文摘The effects of composite supports of CeO2-Al2O3,MgO-Al2O3,TiO2-Al2O3 or ZrO2-Al2O3 on the methanation activity of supported Co-Mo-based sulphur-resistant catalysts were investigated.The catalysts were further characterized by nitrogen adsorption measurement,X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The catalyst of 5%CoO-15%MoO3 supported on CeO2-Al2O3,MgO-Al2O3,TiO2-Al2O3 or ZrO2-Al2O3 composite oxides,respectively,showed different catalytic performances of syngas methanation in the presence of hydrogen sulphide as compared with that of the 5%CoO-15%MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst.The Co-Mo/CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst shows the highest methanation activity among the tested catalysts.The enhanced methanation activity may be attributed to the improvement of the dispersion of active metal species and the inhibition of the formation of S6+.Haiyang Wang Zhenhua Li Erdong Wang Can Lin Yuguang Shang Guozhong Ding Xinbin Ma Shaodong Qin Qi Sun 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,6:15
3Grape Seed Proanthocyanidin Extract Alleviates Arsenic-induced Oxidative Reproductive Toxicity in Male Mice显示文摘Objective To determine the ability of grape seed proanthocyanidin extract(GSPE) in alleviating arsenic-induced reproductive toxicity. Methods Sixty male Kunming mice received the following treatments by gavage: normal saline solution(control); arsenic trioxide(ATO; 4 mg/kg); GSPE(400 mg/kg); ATO+GSPE(100 mg/kg); ATO+GSPE(200 mg/kg) and ATO+GSPE(400 mg/kg). Thereafter, the mice were sacrificed and weighed, and the testis was examined for pathological changes. Nuclear factor(erythroid-derived 2)-like 2(Nrf2), heme oxygenase 1(HO1), glutathione S-transferase(GST), NAD(P)H dehydrogenase, and quinone 1(NQO1) expression in the testis was detected by real-time PCR. Superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione(GSH), total antioxidative capability(T-AOC), malondialdehyde(MDA), 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine(8-OHd G), and reproductive indexes were analyzed. Results ATO-treated mice showed a significantly decreased sperm count and testis somatic index and activity levels of SOD, GSH, and T-AOC than control group. Compared to the ATO-treated group, ATO +GSPE group showed recovery of the measured parameters. Mice treated with ATO+high-dose GSPE showed the highest level of m RNA expression of Nrf2, HO, NQO1, and GST. 5Responses of wheat seedlings to cadmium,mercury and trichlorobenzene stresses显示文摘The molecular response of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.,cv.Yangmai 13) seedlings to heavy metal(Cd,Hg) and 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene(TCB) stresses were examined by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis,image analysis,and peptide mass fingerprinting.The results showed inhibitions of root and shoot growth by Cd,Hg,and TCB.These stresses led to water deficit and lipid phosphorylation in the seedling which also promoted protein phophorylation in the leaves.Hg stress inhibited protein synthesis while Cd and TCB stresses induced or up-regulated more proteins in the leaves.Most of these induced proteins played important roles in the biochemical reactions involved in tolerance of wheat to Cd and TCB stresses.The primary functions of Cd-and TCB-induced proteins included methionine metabolism,Rubisco modification,protein phosphorylation regulation,protein configuration protection,H+ transmembrane transportation and also the synthesis of ethylene,defense substances and cell wall compounds.GE Cailin DING Yan WANG Zegang WAN Dingzhen WANG Yulong SHANG Qi LUO Shishi 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,6:12

9Proteomic Study for Responses to Cadmium Stress in Rice Seedlings显示文摘A proteomic approach including two-dimensional electrophoresis and mass spectrometric (MALDI-TOF MS) analyses was used to investigate the responses to cadmium (Cd) stress in seedlings of rice (Oryza sativa L.) varieties Shanyou 63 and Aizaizhan. Cd stress significantly inhibited root and shoot growth, and affected the global proteome in rice roots and leaves, which induced or upregulated the expression of corresponding proteins in rice roots and leaves when rice seedlings were exposed to 0.1 or 1.0 mmol/L Cd. The Cd-induced proteins are involved in chelation and compartmentation of Cd, elimination of active oxygen free radicals, detoxification of toxic substances, degradation of denatured proteins or inactivated enzymes, regulation of physiologic metabolism and induction of pathogenesis-related proteins. Comparing the Cd-induced proteins between the two varieties, the β-glucosidase and pathogenesis-related protein family 10 proteins were more drastically induced by Cd stress in roots and leaves of Aizaizhan, and the UDP-glucose protein transglucosylase and translational elongation factor Tu were induced by 0.1 mmol/L Cd stress in roots of Shanyou 63. 10Development of a new method for analyzing free aluminum ions(Al^(3+)) in seafood using HPLC-ICP-MS显示文摘This paper presents a novel method for simultaneous online examination of free aluminum ions(Al3+)in seafood,using solidphase extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography online with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(SPEHPLC-ICP-MS),without post-column reaction.The optimum conditions for chromatographic separation of Al3+were achieved using an IonPac CS5A analytical column with an IonPac CG5A guard column.The mobile phase consisted of 0.040 mol/L LiOH,0.0060 mol/L 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid,and 0.090 mol/L CH3COOH(pH 4.7).The free Al3+ions in seafood were extracted by shaking with the mobile phase at 70°C for 2 h.SPE was conducted using an Oasis MCX,3cc/60 mg,30μm column,which was activated and equilibrated with 2 mL of methanol and 4 mL of deionized water before use.HCl(0.075 mol/L,2 mL)was used to wash inorganic Al from the SPE column.The standard recoveries of Al3+were all above 89%and the relative standard deviations were all below 5%.The proposed method was successfully used for the examination of Al3+in seafood samples,and the results were similar to those obtained using the static equilibrium method.SHANG DeRong ZHAO YanFang ZHAI YuXiu NING JinSong DING HaiYan SHENG XiaoFeng 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35:8
11A new method for spatio-temporal prediction of rainfall-induced landslide显示文摘Geological condition and rainfall are two most principal conditions inducing landslides in the Chongqing region. By analyzing the forming conditions of rainfall-induced landslides, a new method for spatio-temporal prediction of rainfall-induced landslide is brought forward on the basis of grading and overlapping geological condition and rainfall factor in this paper. At first, semi-quantitative assessment and grading for the geological condition of a certain area or slope can be carried out with the multi-factor interactive matrix. Then the severity of rainfall in that area is grading according to the maximum daily rainfall and the total rainfall in a rainfall course. Finally, the “landslide probability judgement factor” can be worked out through grading and overlapping “geological condition influenc- ing factor” and “rainfall influencing factor”, by which the landslide can be graded into 4 grades, they are landslide extremely easily happening, landslide easily happening, landslide difficultly happening and landslide hardly ever happening respectively. More accurate spatio-temporal prediction of rain- fall-induced landslides can come true on the ground of detailed geological survey of some dangerous slopes in an area and more precise weather forecast. 14Natural variations in flavonoids and triterpenoids of Cyclocarya paliurus leaves显示文摘Cyclocarya paliurus is widely distributed in subtropical areas of China.Secondary metabolites in the leaves,including flavonoids and triterpenoids,provide protection against diseases such as hyperlipidemia,diabetes,hypertension,and hypoimmunity.In this study,343 C.paliurus leaves were collected from 32 distinct populations covering most of the main distribution,to deduce the response of flavonoids and triterpenoids to seven environmental factors.Principal component analysis was performed using seven flavonoid and six triterpenoid compounds.The results show that altitude,latitude,and longitude significantly contributed to variations in total flavonoid and triterpenoid contents.In addition,the interaction of these metabolites was extensively correlated with environment changes,and therefore should be considered during selection and cultivation.Caowen Sun Xulan Shang Haifen Ding Yanni Cao Shengzuo Fang 2021Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,2:6

17Microbiologic risk factors of recurrent choledocholithiasis postendoscopic sphincterotomy显示文摘BACKGROUND Choledocholithiasis is a severe disorder that affects a significant portion of the world’s population.Treatment using endoscopic sphincterotomy(EST)has become widespread;however,recurrence post-EST is relatively common.The bile microbiome has a profound influence on the recurrence of choledocholithiasis in patients after EST;however,the key pathogens and their functions in the biliary tract remain unclear.AIM To investigate the biliary microbial characteristics of patients with recurrent choledocholithiasis post-EST,using next-generation sequencing.METHODS This cohort study included 43 patients,who presented with choledocholithiasis at the Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital between May and June 2020.The patients had undergone EST or endoscopic papillary balloon dilation and were followed up for over a year.They were divided into either the stable or recurrent groups.We collected bile samples and extracted microbial DNA for analysis through next-generation sequencing.Resulting sequences were analyzed for core microbiome and statistical differences between the diagnosis groups;they were examined using the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway hierarchy level using analysis of variance.Correlation between the key genera and metabolic pathways in bile,were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation test.RESULTS The results revealed distinct clustering of biliary microbiota in recurrent choledocholithiasis.Higher relative abundances(RAs)of Fusobacterium and Neisseria(56.61%±14.81%vs 3.47%±1.10%,8.95%±3.42%vs 0.69%±0.32%,respectively)and the absence of Lactobacillus were observed in the bile of patients with recurrent disease,compared to that in stable patients.Construction of a microbiological co-occurrence network revealed a mutual relationship among Fusobacterium,Neisseria,and Leptotrichia,and an antagonistic relationship among Lactobacillales,Fusobacteriales,and Clostridiales.Functional prediction of biliary microbiome revealed that the loss of transcription and metabolic abilities may lead to recurrent choledocholithiasis.Furthermore,the prediction model based on the RA of Lactobacillales in the bile was effective in identifying the risk of recurrent choledocholithiasis(P=0.03).CONCLUSION We demonstrated differences in the bile microbiome of patients with recurrent choledocholithiasis compared to that in patients with stable disease,thereby adding to the current knowledge on its microbiologic etiology.Ying Li Wen-Hui Tan Jia-Chuan Wu Zhi-Xin Huang Yan-Yan Shang Biao Liang Jian-Hui Chen Rui Pang Xin-Qiang Xie Ju-Mei Zhang Yu Ding Liang Xue Mou-Tong Chen Juan Wang Qing-Ping Wu 2022World Journal of Gastroenterology2022,28,12:5
18Formation and evolution of layered structure in dissimilar welded joints between ferritic-martensitic steel and 316L stainless steel with fillers显示文摘Dissimilar high-energy beam(HEB)welding is necessary in many industrial applications.Different composition of heat-affected zone(HAZ)and weld metal(WM)lead to variation in mechanical properties within the dissimilar joint,which determines the performance of the welded structure.In the present study,appropriate filler material was used during electron beam welding(EBW)to obtain a reliable dissimilar joint between reduced-activation ferritic-martensitic(RAFM)steel and 316L austenitic stainless steel.It was observed that the layered structure occurred in the weld metal with 310S filler(310S-WM),which had the inferior resistance to thermal disturbance,leading to severe hardening of 310S-WM after one-step tempering treatment.To further ameliorate the joint inhomogeneity,two-step heat treatment processes were imposed to the joints and optimized.δ-ferrite in the layered structure transformed intoγ-phase in the first-step normalizing and remained stable during cooling.In the second-step of tempering,tempered martensite was obtained in the HAZ of the RAFM steel,while the microstructure of 310S-WM was not affected.Thus,the optimized properties for HAZ and 310S-WM in dissimilar welded joint was both obtained by a two-step heat treatment.The creep failure position of two dissimilar joints both occurred in CLAM-BM.Guoliang Liu Shanwu Yang Jianwen Ding Wentuo Han Lujun Zhou Mengqi Zhang Shanshan Zhou RDKMisra Farong Wan Chengjia Shang 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11:4
19N-Type Mg_(3)Sb_(2-x)Bi_(x) Alloys as Promising Thermoelectric Materials显示文摘N-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2-x)Bi_(x) alloys have been extensively studied in recent years due to their significantly enhanced thermoelectric figure of merit(zT),thus promoting them as potential candidates for waste heat recovery and cooling applications.In this review,the effects resulting from alloying Mg_(3)Bi_(2) with Mg_(3)Sb_(2),including narrowed bandgap,decreased effective mass,and increased carrier mobility,are summarized.Subsequently,defect-controlled electrical properties in n-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2-x)Bi_(x) are revealed.On one hand,manipulation of intrinsic and extrinsic defects can achieve optimal carrier concentration.On the other hand,Mg vacancies dominate carrier-scattering mechanisms(ionized impurity scattering and grain boundary scattering).Both aspects are discussed for Mg_(3)Sb_(2-x)Bi_(x) thermoelectric materials.Finally,we review the present status of,and future outlook for,these materials in power generation and cooling applications.Hongjing Shang Zhongxin Liang Congcong Xu Jun Mao Hongwei Gu Fazhu Ding Zhifeng Ren 2020Research2020,,1:4
