1Circulating extracellular RNAs,myocardial remodeling,and heart failure in patients with acute coronary syndrome显示文摘Background:Given high on-treatment mortality in heart failure(HF),identifying molecular pathways that underlie adverse cardiac remodeling may offer novel biomarkers and therapeutic avenues.Circulating extracellular RNAs(ex-RNAs)regulate important biological processes and are emerging as biomarkers of disease,but less is known about their role in the acute setting,particularly in the setting of HF.Methods:We examined the ex-RNA profiles of 296 acute coronary syndrome(ACS)survivors enrolled in the Transitions,Risks,and Actions in Coronary Events Center for Outcomes Research and Education Cohort.We measured 374 ex-RNAs selected a priori,based on previous findings from a large population study.We employed a two-step,mechanism-driven approach to identify ex-RNAs associated with echocardiographic phenotypes(left ventricular[LV]ejection fraction,LV mass,LV end-diastolic volume,left atrial[LA]dimension,and LA volume index)then tested relations of these ex-RNAs with prevalent HF(N=31,10.5%).We performed further bioinformatics analysis of microRNA(miRNAs)predicted targets’genes ontology categories and molecular pathways.Results:We identified 44 ex-RNAs associated with at least one echocardiographic phenotype associated with HF.Of these 44 exRNAs,miR-29-3p,miR-584-5p,and miR-1247-5p were also associated with prevalent HF.The three microRNAs were implicated in the regulation p53 and transforming growth factor-βsignaling pathways and predicted to be involved in cardiac fibrosis and cell death;miRNA predicted targets were enriched in gene ontology categories including several involving the extracellular matrix and cellular differentiation.Conclusions:Among ACS survivors,we observed that miR-29-3p,miR-584-5p,and miR-1247-5p were associated with both echocardiographic markers of cardiac remodeling and prevalent HF.Relevance for Patients:miR-29c-3p,miR-584-5p,and miR-1247-5p were associated with echocardiographic phenotypes and prevalent HF and are potential biomarkers for adverse cardiac remodeling in HF.Khanh-Van Tran Kahraman Tanriverdi Gerard P.Aurigemma Darleen Lessard Mayank Sardana Matthew Parker Amir Shaikh Matthew Gottbrecht Zachary Milstone Selim Tanriverdi Olga Vitseva John F.Keaney Catarina I.Kiefe David D.McManus Jane E.Freedman 2019Journal of Clinical & Translational Research2019,5,1:7
2Investigation of rockfall-prone road cut slope near Lengpui Airport,Mizoram,India显示文摘Rockfall is one of severe natural hazards that are frequently reported in northeast region of India. It carries rock block falling from the cliff with high velocities and energies which can result in damages to vehicles, disruption to transportation, injuries and fatalities. The massive rockfall event which occurred in April 2017 on the highway NH-44 A, near Lengpui Airport, blocked the traffic for 1 d, and fortunately,no casualties were reported as the event occurred in the night. This is the only highway connecting the Aizawl city to the airport and the region is highly prone to rockfall events. Hence assessment of rockfall along this highway is necessary. In the current study, rockfall hazard assessment has been carried out on three locations by rockfall hazard rating system(RHRS). During pre-failure analysis, the result shows that most hazardous slopes have RHRS score of 639. The slopes were found to be vulnerable and later on the rockfall activity occurred. Three-dimensional(3 D) stability analysis has been carried out using 3 DEC software package to analyze the failure behavior and to decide the rockfall-prone zone(unstable blocks)for slope. The total displacement of 2.24 cm and velocity of 2,25 mm/s of the failed block have been observed in the numerical analysis. Further, the rockfall vulnerable zone(unstable blocks) is considered to determine the parameters such as run-out distance, bounce height and energies of the falling rock blocks. 4不同除草剂单独相继使用和混合使用防除小麦田虉草的效果比较(英文)显示文摘草是小麦田的主要杂草 ,尤其是水稻—小麦复种田块发生较为严重。用异丙隆防除 草已有 2 0多年的历史 ,防治效果十分显著。但近来有研究表明 草已具有对异丙隆的抗性。本试验研究了不同除草剂单独相继使用与混合使用对该杂草的防治效果。结果表明 ,播后 60 d,出苗前喷施氟乐灵和第一次灌水后喷施异丙隆的处理 ,除草效果最佳 ,而在成熟期 ,第一次灌水后喷施噻黄隆的处理具有与以上处理同样的防治效果。虽然使用异丙隆的处理产量最高 ,但一些除草剂单独相继使用也具有很好的杂草防治效果 ,小麦产量显著高于未用除草剂的对照。作者认为 ,在 草防治上存在有异丙隆抗性的地区 。Sardana Virender Brar LallSingh Mahajan Gulshan 张国平 2002麦类作物学报2002,22,3:2
5Prediction of COVID-19 Confirmed, Death, and Cured Cases in India Using Random Forest Model显示文摘A novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2) is an unusual viral pneumonia in patients, first found in late December 2019, latter it declared a pandemic by World Health Organizations because of its fatal effects on public health. In this present, cases of COVID-19 pandemic are exponentially increasing day by day in the whole world. Here, we are detecting the COVID-19 cases, i.e., confirmed, death, and cured cases in India only. We are performing this analysis based on the cases occurring in different states of India in chronological dates. Our dataset contains multiple classes so we are performing multi-class classification. On this dataset, first, we performed data cleansing and feature selection, then performed forecasting of all classes using random forest, linear model, support vector machine,decision tree, and neural network, where random forest model outperformed the others, therefore, the random forest is used for prediction and analysis of all the results. 20Antiplasmodial activity of silver nanoparticles: A novel green synthesis approach显示文摘Objective:To synthesize silver nanoparticles using silver nitrate by a green technique which involves different compositions of aqueous leaf extracts of Azadirachta indica(neem)and Ocimum sanctum(tulsi).Methods:Their shape and size were determined using transmission electron microscopy and UV-visible spectroscopy.Their antiplasmodial activity was studied using the malarial parasite strain(Plasmodium falciparum,3D7).The parasite strain(3D7)was collected and revived in vitro using Trager and Jensen method in RPMI 1640 medium for 7-8cycles.Half maximal effective concentration values were calculated by nonlinear regression analysis.Results:Transmission electron microscopy results confirmed the formation of silver nanoparticles with size ranging from 4.74-39.32 nm and their size differs by varying the concentrations from 20%to 100%of neem extract in neem and tulsi extracts.It was observed that samples B and C showed half maximum effective concentration of about 0.3μM.Conclusions:It can be easily established that the aqueous leaf extracts of neem and tulsi in combination can be a good source for synthesis of silver nanoparticles with small size possessing appreciable antiplasmodial activity.Madhur Sardana Varnika Agarwal Akansha Pant Vinita Kapoor Kailash C.Pandey Sanjay Kumar 2018Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2018,8,5:1
