| 11 | Estimating Fuel-Efficient Air Plane Trajectories Using Machine Lear显示文摘Airline industry has witnessed a tremendous growth in the recent past.Percentage of people choosing air travel as first choice to commute is continuously increasing.Highly demanding and congested air routes are resulting in inadvertent delays,additional fuel consumption and high emission of greenhouse gases.Trajectory planning involves creation identification of cost-effective flight plans for optimal utilizationof fuel and time.This situation warrants the need of an intelligent system for dynamic planning of optimized flight trajectories with least human intervention required.In this paper,an algorithm for dynamic planning of optimized flight trajectories has been proposed.The proposed algorithm divides the airspace into four dimensional cubes and calculate a dynamic score for each cube to cumulatively represent estimated weather,aerodynamic drag and air traffic within that virtual cube.There are several constraints like simultaneous flight separation rules,weather conditions like air temperature,pressure,humidity,wind speed and direction that pose a real challenge for calculating optimal flight trajectories.To validate the proposed methodology,a case analysis was undertaken within Indian airspace.The flight routes were simulated for four different air routes within Indian airspace.The experiment results observed a seven percent reduction in drag values on the predicted path,hence indicates reduction in carbon footprint and better fuel economy. | Jaiteg Singh Gaurav Goyal Farman Ali Babar Shah Sangheon Pack | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Strain-tunable optical microlens arrays with deformable wrinkles for spatially coordinated image projection on a security substrate显示文摘As a new concept in materials design,a variety of strategies have been developed to fabricate optical microlens arrays(MLAs)that enable the miniaturization of optical systems on the micro/nanoscale to improve their characteristic performance with unique optical functionality.In this paper,we introduce a cost-effective and facile fabrication process on a large scale up to~15 inches via sequential lithographic methods to produce thin and deformable hexagonally arranged MLAs consisting of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS).Simple employment of oxygen plasma treatment on the prestrained MLAs effectively harnessed the spontaneous formation of highly uniform nanowrinkled structures all over the surface of the elastomeric microlenses.With strain-controlled tunability,unexpected optical diffraction patterns were characterized by the interference combination effect of the microlens and deformable nanowrinkles.Consequently,the hierarchically structured MLAs presented here have the potential to produce desirable spatial arrangements,which may provide easily accessible opportunities to realize microlens-based technology by tunable focal lengths for more advanced micro-optical devices and imaging projection elements on unconventional security substrates. | In Sik Choi Seongho Park Sangheon Jeon Young Woo Kwon Rowoon Park Robert A.Taylor Kwangseuk Kyhm Suck Won Hong | 2022 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,5: | 0 |
| 13 | COMPARISON OF THE HYDRO-CLIMATOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS FOR THE EXTRA-ORDINARY FLOOD INDUCED BY TROPICAL CYCLONE IN THE SELECTED RIVER BASINS显示文摘As the increased interesting on global warming and extreme water-related disasters, there are many countries which have been suffering from the extreme floods induced by tropical cyclones in East Asia. Therefore, in this study, the geographical and hydrometeolorogical characteristics and flood forecasting and warning systems in the selected basins from Thailand, Philippines, and South Korea are compared. Chao Phraya river basin, Pampanga river basin and Nakdong river basin are selected from Thailand, Philippines, and South Korea, respectively. As the results from the comparison, it was discovered that the different geographical and hydrometeolorogical characteristics delivers the different types of flood forecasting and warning systems in each basin. Due to the different geographical characteristics, the damage caused by the similar amount of monthly rainfall is different according to the historical records. This difference is expected to be caused by the different river regime coefficient and soil structures. The flood forecasting and warning systems in three basins are also different. South Korea has the centralized control system for the flood forecasting and warning, while the other basins have the more localized monitoring, forecasting, and warning procedures. In addition to the flood forecasting and warning system, according to the geographical characteristics, the density of the gauging stations is also different. The analyzed results might help the policy makers in the basins develop the adaptive flood forecasting and warning system considering the basin characteristics. | 15 | 不同肌肉组选择导出模块对组间肌电反复性的影响(英文)显示文摘目的评价组间肌电反复性对不同肌肉组选择导出模块的影响。方法记录12名参与实验者在自选速度下行走时16块肌肉的肌电图。用组内相关系数评价每个步行周期的肌肉兴奋度和肌肉模块。依据肌肉兴奋度的反复性,区分出3种类型的肌肉组。结果可靠肌肉组显示出较高的组内相关系数(>0.4),而全身肌肉组和混合肌肉组显示出较低的组内相关系数(<0.4)。3种类型肌肉组比较,可靠肌肉组分析得出的模块具有最好的反复性,全身肌肉组和混合肌肉组的反复性较低。结论具有较高可靠性的肌肉兴奋性能够得出较一致的模块。得出一致模块的方法非常重要,尤其是在依靠肌肉兴奋性反馈而改变的运动模式中。 | Yushin KIM Minhee KIM Bumchul YOON Sangheon LEE | 2019 | 医用生物力学2019,34,4: | 0 |
