1Properties,combustion behavior,and kinetic triplets of coke produced by low-temperature oxidation and pyrolysis:Implications for heavy oil in-situ combustion显示文摘This work aimed at investigating the crucial factor in building and maintaining the combustion front during in-situ combustion(ISC),oxidized coke and pyrolyzed coke.The surface morphologies,elemental contents,and non-isothermal mass losses of the oxidized and pyrolyzed cokes were thoroughly examined.The results indicated that the oxidized coke could be combusted at a lower temperature compared to the pyrolyzed coke due primarily to their differences in the molecular polarity and microstructure.Kinetic triplets of coke combustion were determined using iso-conversional models and one advanced integral master plots method.The activation energy values of the oxidized and pyrolyzed cokes varied in the range of 130-153 k J/mol and 95-120 kJ/mol,respectively.The most appropriate reaction model of combustion of the oxidized and pyrolyzed cokes followed three-dimensional diffusion model(D_(3)) and random nucleation and subsequent growth model(F_(1)),respectively.These observations assisted in building the numerical model of these two types of cokes to simulate the ISC process.Shuai Zhao Wan-Fen Pu Lei Su Ce Shang Yang Song Wei Li Hui-Zhuo He Yi-Gang Liu Zhe-Zhi Liu 2021Petroleum Science2021,18,5:3

12Rational design of robust iridium-ceria oxide-carbon nanofibers to boost oxygen evolution reaction in both alkaline and acidic media显示文摘Anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is essential to participate in diverse renewable energy conversion and storage processes,while most OER electrocatalysts present satisfactory catalytic performance in only alkaline or acidic medium,limiting their practical applications in many aspects.Herein,we have designed and prepared Ir-CeO_(2)-C nanofibers(NFs)via an electrospinning and a relatively low-temperature calcination strategy for OER application in both alkaline and acidic conditions.Density functional theory(DFT)simulations demonstrate the high catalytic active sites of Ir atoms for OER,that the formation of Ir–O bonds at the interface between Ir and CeO_(2)can modulate the electron density of the relevant Ir atoms to promote the OER activity.In addition,the unique nanofibrous heterostructure increases the exposed active sites and promotes the electrical conductivity.Therefore,the prepared Ir-CeO_(2)-C nanofibrous catalyst delivers an excellent OER property in both alkaline and acidic solutions.Impressively,the overpotentials to reach 10 mA·cm^(−2)are only 279 and 283 mV in the alkaline and acidic electrolyte,respectively,with favorable long-term stabilities.In addition,the two-electrode overall water splitting set-ups equipped with Ir-CeO_(2)-C NFs as anode and commercial Pt/C as cathode provide a cell voltage of 1.54 and 1.53 V to drive 10 mA·cm^(−2)in the alkaline and acidic electrolyte,respectively,which are much lower than Pt/C||IrO_(2)and lots of transition metal oxides-based electrolyzers.This research presents an efficient means to design OER catalysts with superior properties in both alkaline and acidic solutions.Xiaojie Chen Wenying Liao Mengxiao Zhong Junjie Chen Su Yan Weimo Li Ce Wang Wei Chen Xiaofeng Lu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:1

16Synthesis of Iron-Carbide Nanoparticles:Identification of the Active Phase and Mechanism of Fe-Based Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis显示文摘Despite the extensive study of the Fe-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS)over the past 90 years,its active phases and reaction mechanisms are still unclear due to the coexistence of metals,oxides,and carbide phases presented under realistic FTS reaction conditions and the complex reaction network involving CO activation,C-C coupling,and methane formation.To address these issues,we successfully synthesized a range of pure-phase iron and iron-carbide nanoparticles(Fe,Fe_(5)C_(2),Fe_(3)C,and Fe_(7)C_(3))for the first time.By using them as the ideal model catalysts on high-pressure transient experiments,we identified unambiguously that all the iron carbides are catalytically active in the FTS reaction while Fe_(5)C_(2) is the most active yet stable carbide phase,consistent with density functional theory(DFT)calculation results.The reaction mechanism and kinetics of Fe-based FTS were further explored on the basis of those model catalysts by means of transient high-pressure stepwise temperature-programmed surface reaction(STPSR)experiments and DFT calculations.Our work provides new insights into the active phase of iron carbides and corresponding FTS reaction mechanism,which is essential for better iron-based catalyst design for FTS reactions.Huabo Zhao Jin-Xun Liu Ce Yang Siyu Yao Hai-Yan Su Zirui Gao Mei Dong Junhu Wang Alexandre I.Rykov Jianguo Wang Yanglong Hou Wei-Xue Li Ding Ma 2021CCS Chemistry2021,3,11:1

19A deep network prediction model for heavy metal cadmium in the rice supply chain显示文摘Cadmium and its compounds are currently known as Class I carcinogens,and excessive intake can cause severe health damage to humans.Rice has a strong absorption effect on cadmium,and rice products with excessive cadmium content have caused several significant public health contamination incidents.It is essential to predict the development trend of cadmium hazards in the rice supply chain so that countermeasures can be formulated to reduce the hazards.This paper proposes a deep prediction model for cadmium hazards in the rice supply chain based on the regularization method.Firstly,a long and short-term memory network is used to build the depth prediction model by using the regularization method,and the noise penalty term is added to reduce the model fitting to the noise and prevent the over-fitting caused by the noise.Finally,the optimization of the model hyperparameters was carried out using a Bayesian optimization approach to develop the prediction performance.Then,early warning system for prediction of cadmium hazards in the rice supply chain is built based on the deep prediction model proposed in this paper with SOA architecture,including data resource,business logic,and application service layers.The proposed model performs well on an actual data set of cadmium hazards in the rice supply chain and fits the data well.Xuebo Jin Jiashuai Zhang Xiaoyi Wang Xin Zhang Tianyang Guo Ce Shi Tingli Su Jianlei Kong Yuting Bai 2021Journal of Future Foods2021,1,2:0
20Provenance of sediments in the northern Manila Trench:An assessment from detrital zircon geochronology显示文摘Manila Trench is a critical region for revealing the tectonic evolution and source-to-sink process of the South China Sea,but the sediment provenance in the northern part of the trench remains unclear.In this study,we present a first detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology of sediments in the northern Manila Trench,in the vicinity of Northwestern Luzon Island,to identify the sediment provenance and understand the source-to-sink process in the marginal sea.The study shows that the sediments yielded multiple zircon age populations at ca.123,221,443,565,906,and 1871 Ma.A detailed detrital zircon age study indicates that the sediments were derived mainly from Taiwan Island,China,rather than the nearby Luzon Island.In comparison with the modern drainage systems surrounding northeastern South China Sea,this study further confirms that the sediments primarily originated from the Gaoping River(ca.45%),with subordinate contributions from the Lanyang River(ca.24%)and Min River(ca.19%).The study also elucidates two completely different sedimentary transport modes in the northern Manila Trench.The transportation of sediments from southwestern Taiwan Island is primarily related to the gravity-driven transport through the Gaoping submarine canyon.Furthermore,a quarter of detritus derived from eastern Taiwan Island might have been transported by the deep-water circulation of the Luzon Strait.This study highlights the provenance and transport pathway of sediments in the northern Manila Trench and provides a solution for understanding the source-to-sink process in the marginal sea.Ce WANG Heqi CUI Letian ZENG Ming SU 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,1:0
