1Molybdenum isotopic composition as a tracer for low-medium temperature hydrothermal ore-forming systems:A case study on the Dajiangping pyrite deposit,western Guangdong Province,China显示文摘Little is known about the range or controls on the molybdenum isotopic composition of low-medium temperature hydrothermal ore-forming systems.We present molybdenum isotope data from 12 hydrothermal syndepositional silicalite and carbonaceous slate samples from the Dajiangping pyrite deposit in western Guangdong Province,South China.The δ 97/95Mo values from Orebody III range from ?0.02‰ to 0.29‰,with an average of 0.18‰.In contrast,the composition values from Orebody IV display a larger variation from ?0.70‰ to 0.62‰.However,the five samples from the main ore bed all show strong negative values.This indicates that the significant variation in molybdenum isotopic composition supports different hydrothermal ore-forming metallogenesis and a metallogenic environment between the two orebodies.Orebody III is likely to have been deposited from submarine exhalative hydrothermal fluids under a relatively strong reducing environment and Orebody IV may have also been influenced by hydrothermal superimposition in a more oxidized disequilibrium condition.In addition,the δ 97/95Mo values of Orebody IV are clearly negative,together with the values increasing stratigraphically upward in the ore beds,suggesting that the metallogenic environment of Orebody IV is different from the open oceanic systems.There might be dynamic fractionation in this restricted environment.Therefore,the molybdenum isotope can be used as an effective tracer for the ore-forming fluid and metallogenic environment.SONG ShiMing HU Kai WEN HanJie ZHANG YuXu LI Kuang FAN HaiFeng 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,21:4

3Insights Into the Interfacial Degradation of High-Voltage All-Solid-State Lithium Batteries显示文摘Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)is considered as a promising solid-state electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs).Nevertheless,the poor interfacial stability with high-voltage cathode materials(e.g.,LiCoO_(2))restricts its application in high energy density solid-state batteries.Herein,high-voltage stable Li_(3)AlF_(6) protective layer is coated on the surface of LiCoO_(2) particle to improve the performance and investigate the failure mechanism of PEO-based ASSLBs.The phase transition unveils that chemical redox reaction occurs between the highly reactive LiCoO_(2) surface and PEO-based SPE,resulting in structure collapse of LiCoO_(2),hence the poor cycle performance of PEO-based ASSLBs with LiCoO_(2) at charging voltage of 4.2 V vs Li/Li+.By sharp contrast,no obvious structure change can be found at the surface of Li_(3)AlF_(6)-coated LiCoO_(2),and the original layered phase was well retained.When the charging voltage reaches up to 4.5 V vs Li/Li+,the intensive electrochemical decomposition of PEO-based SPE occurs,leading to the constant increase of cell impedance and directly causing the poor performance.This work not only provides important supplement to the failure mechanism of PEO-based batter-ies with LiCoO_(2),but also presents a universal strategy to retain structure stability of cathode-electrolyte interface in high-voltage ASSLBs.Jiawen Li Yuchen Ji Haoran Song Shiming Chen Shouxiang Ding Bingkai Zhang Luyi Yang Yongli Song Feng Pan 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:2
4Enhanced weathering input from South Asia to the Indian Ocean since the late Eocene显示文摘nhanced silicate weathering induced by the uplift of the Himalayan-Tibetan Plateau(HTP)has been considered as the major cause of pCO_(2) decline and Cenozoic cooling.However,this hypothesis remains to be validated,largely due to the lack of a reliable reconstruction of the HTP weathering flux.Here,we present a 37-million-year record of the difference in the seawater radiogenic neodymium isotopic composition(△ε_(Nd))of Ocean Drilling Program(ODP)sites and Fe-Mn crusts between the northern and central Indian Ocean,which indicates the contribution of regional weathering input from the South Asian continent to the Indian Ocean.The results show a long-term increase in △ε_(Nd) and thus provide the first critical evidence of enhanced South Asian weathering input since the late Eocene.The evolution coincided well with major pulses of surface uplift in the HTP and global climatic transitions.Our foraminiferal eNd record suggests that tectonic uplift and silicate weathering in South Asia,especially in the Himalayas,might have played a significant role in the late Cenozoic cooling.Zehua Song Shiming Wan Christophe Colin Christian France-Lanord Zhaojie Yu Arnaud Dapoigny Hualong Jin Mengjun Li Jin Zhang Debo Zhao Xuefa Shi Anchun Li 2023Science Bulletin2023,,3:2
5Evaluation of SARS-CoV-2-Neutralizing Nanobody Using Virus Receptor Binding Domain-Administered Model Mice显示文摘Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),there is an urgent requirement for the development of additional diagnostic tools for further analysis of the disease.The isolated nanobody Nb11-59 binds to the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)reeptor-binding domain[RBD]with high afinity to neutralize the virus and block the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2-(ACE2-)RBD interaction.Here,we introduce a novel nanobody-based radiotracer named^(68)Ga-Nb1159.The radiotracer retained high affinity for the RBD and showed reliable radiochemical characteristics both in vitro and in vivo.Predinical positron emission tomography(PET)studies of Ga-Nb1159 in mice revealed is rapid dearance from circulation and robust uptake into the renal and urinary systems.Fortunately,^(68)Ga-Nb1159 could speifcally reveal the distribution of the RBD in mice.This sudy also helped to evaluate the pharmacodynamic efects of the neutralizing nanobody.Moreover,^(68)Ga-Nb1159 may be a promising l0ol lo explore the distribution of the RBD and improve the understanding of the virus.In particular,this study identified a novel molecular radioagent and established a reliable evaluation method for speifially investigating the RBD through noninvasive and visual PET technology.Song Liu Guanghui Li Lei Ding Jin Ding Qian Zhang Dan Li Xingguo Hou Xiangxing Kong Jing Zou Shiming Zhang Hongbin Han Yakun Wan Zhi Yang Hua Zhu 2022Research2022,,2:2

7Comparative Nutritional Analysis on Fish Meal and Meat and Bone Meal of Harmless Treatment of Dead Pig Carcass显示文摘In order to explore the resource utilization of the harmless treatment product(pork meat and bone meal,abbreviated PM)of pigs died of non-communicable diseases,the general nutritional components and amino acid composition of PM and fish meal were determined and compared.The results showed that the contents of moisture,crude protein,crude fat and ash in PM and fish meal were 3.25%and 8.92%,66.65%and 66.67%,13.52%and 8.23%,18.25%and 21.50%,respectively.The contents of essential amino acids(EAA)in PM and fish meal were 19.94%and 22.35%,respectively.For PM and fish meal,the first limiting amino acid was Met(methionine)+Cys(cysteine),and the second limiting amino acid was Lys(lysine);their essential amino acid indexes(EAAI)were 66.60 and 77.04,respectively;and their delicious amino acid(DAA)contents were 26.89%and 23.15%,respectively.In summary,the meat and bone meal of pigs died of non-communicable diseases has the characteristics of high protein and low ash contents,and has certain development and utilization potential as a recycled waste resource,especially in aquatic feed to replace fish meal.Xiaofei CHENG Jin XIANG Shiming DENG Xing TIAN Xiping YUAN Shaoming LI Rui SONG Li LIU 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,6:1

15Evolution of Asian drying since 30 Ma revealed by clay minerals record in the West Pacific and its tectonic-climatic forcing显示文摘As the second largest dust source on the globe,the tectonic and climatic evolution of continental Asia has an important impact on regional and global climate change.The West Pacific is the main sediment sink for eolian dust transported eastward from the Asian interior.Clay minerals,as the major fine-grained weathering products of continental rocks,can be readily transported by wind or currents over long distances and thus have been widely used in the reconstruction of paleoclimate and weathering history.However,the overall evolutionary tendency and response mechanism of clay mineral records over large spatial and long timescales across Asia remain unclear.Here,two continuous and high-resolution clay mineral records since 30 Ma were reconstructed from sediments at Deep Sea Drilling Program(DSDP)Sites 292 and 296 in the Philippine Sea.Clay minerals and Sr-Nd isotope compositions were used to constrain provenance and reconstruct the drying history of the dust source region since the Oligocene.The results show that the clay-sized detrital sediments in the Philippine Sea are a mixture of Asian eolian dust and volcanic materials from the West Pacific arcs.Based on the clay mineral compositions and eolian flux,we reveal that the Asian interior has been continuously drying since the late Oligocene and that stepwise enhanced aridification occurred at approximately 20,14,7,and 3 Ma.Compared with other regions of the world,the relative contents of illite and chlorite increased more dramatically in Asia during the late Cenozoic,and the inconsistency became more obvious at approximately 20 Ma.Since 3 Ma,illite and chlorite have increased consistently across the globe.Combined with the Asian tectonic and climatic history,we suggest that the increase in illite and chlorite from Asia between 20 and 3 Ma was mainly in response to the uplift of the Himalayan-Tibetan Plateau,whereas after 3 Ma,it was primarily controlled by global cooling driven by the expansion of the Arctic ice sheet.Yi TANG Shiming WAN Debo ZHAO Zhaojie YU Zhaokai XU Jin ZHANG Zehua SONG Mengjun LI Hualong JIN Wenjun JIAO Hongkun DONG Anchun LI 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,6:0

17Coil-to-Stretch Transition of Binder Chains Enabled by“Nano-Combs”to Facilitate Highly Stable SiO_(x) Anode显示文摘The commercialized binder carboxymethyl cellulose sodium(CMC-Na)is considered unsuitable for micro-sized SiO_(x) anode as it cannot endure the large volume change to retain the conductive network during repeated charge/discharge cycles.Herein,a small amount of silicon nanoparticles(SiNPs)is added during slurry preparation process as“nano-combs”to unfold the convoluted CMC-Na polymer chains so that they undergo a coilto-stretch transition by interaction between polar groups(e.g.,-OH,-COONa)of polymer and SiNPs’large surface.Through maximizing the utilization of binders,a uniform conductive network is constructed with increased interfacial contact with micro-sized SiO_(x).As a result,the SiO_(x) electrode with optimized(10 wt%)SiNPs addition shows significantly improved initial capacity and cycling performance.Through revisiting CMCNa,a currently deemed unqualified binder in SiO_(x) anode,this work gives a brand-new perspective on the failing mechanism of Si-based anode materials and an improving strategy for electrode preparation.Shida Xue Yanda Fu Zhibo Song Shiming Chen Yuchen Ji Yan Zhao Huizhi Wang Guoyu Qian Luyi Yang Feng Pan 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4:0

19Insights into Free and Conjugated Forms of Neonicotinoid Insecticides in Human Serum and Their Association with Oxidative Stress显示文摘Following exposure,neonicotinoid insecticides(NEOs)can be metabolized by both Phase Ⅰ and Phase Ⅱ reactions catalyzed by human cytochrome P450 enzymes.However,toxicities of parent NEOs and their metabolites are still unclear,and little is known about biotransformation rates and pathways of NEOs in humans.In this study,98 serum samples collected in China were analyzed for free,conjugated and total forms of six parent NEOs(i.e.,acetamiprid(ACE),imidacloprid(IMI),clothianidin(CLO),thiacloprid(THD),thiamethoxam(THM),and dinotefuran(DIN))and four metabolites(i.e.,N-desmethyl-acetamiprid(N-dm-ACE),1-methyl-3-(tetrahydro-3-furylmethyl)(DIN-U),5-hydroxy-imidacloprid(5-OH-IMI),olefin-imidacloprid(Of-IMI)).NEOs and their metabolites were detected in all serum samples,and the total median concentrations of free,conjugated,and total forms of 10 NEOs were 2.04,2.01,and 5.12 ng/mL,respectively.Conjugated forms of NEOs accounted for only half(53%)of the total forms of NEOs.Based on the profiles of Phase Ⅰ and Phase Ⅱ metabolites of NEOs in serum,it was found that age is a determinant in Phase Ⅰmetabolism of DIN and Phase Ⅱ metabolism of IMI.The Phase Ⅱmetabolites of NEOs are associated with oxidative DNA damage,and the conjugated forms of IMI,DIN,and 5-OH-IMI in serum were significantly positively correlated with oxidative stress.Overall,the amount of NEOs present in conjugated forms in human serum was determined to document the existence of a considerable proportion of free forms of these insecticides.Ya-Nan Yao Shiming Song Yingyan Huang Kurunthachalam Kannan Hongwen Sun Tao Zhang 2023Environment & Health2023,1,2:0
20Predicting wall drag coefficient and settling velocity of particle in parallel plates filled with Newtonian fluids显示文摘The hindrance of boundary to particle transport exists widely in various industrial applications.In this study,the wall drag force of parallel plates on settling particles was revealed through settling experiment.High-speed camera was used to record and analyze the settling process of particles in parallel plates that are filled with Newtonian fluids.A total of 600 experiments were carried out,involving the range of relative diameter and particle Reynolds number of 0.01-0.95 and 0.004-14.30,respectively.The wall drag coefficient was defined to quantitatively analyze the wall drag force of the parallel plates.The influence of relative diameter,particle properties,rheological properties,and the settling dynamic process on the wall drag coefficient was revealed,and the wall drag coefficient model with mean relative error of 5.90% was established.Furthermore,an explicit settling velocity model with mean relative error of 8.96% for the particle in parallel plates was developed by introducing a dimensionless variable independent of settling velocity,the Archimedes number.Finally,a calculation example was provided to clarify the using process of the explicit model.This research is expected to provide guidance for optimizing water hydraulic fracturing in the oil and gas industry.Zhaopeng Zhu Xianzhi Song Gensheng Li Zhengming Xu Silin Jing Xiaozhou Qin Shiming Duan 2021Particuology2021,19,5:0
