2Human ACE2-Functionalized Gold“Virus-Trap”Nanostructures for Accurate Capture of SARS-CoV-2 and Single-Virus SERS Detection显示文摘The current COVID-19 pandemic urges the extremely sensitive and prompt detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus.Here,we present a Human Angiotensin-converting-enzyme 2(ACE2)-functionalized gold“virus traps”nanostructure as an extremely sensitive SERS biosensor,to selectively capture and rapidly detect S-protein expressed coronavirus,such as the current SARS-CoV-2 in the contaminated water,down to the single-virus level.Such a SERS sensor features extraordinary 106-fold virus enrichment originating from high-affinity of ACE2 with S protein as well as“virus-traps”composed of oblique gold nanoneedles,and 109-fold enhancement of Raman signals originating from multi-component SERS effects.Furthermore,the identification standard of virus signals is established by machine-learning and identification techniques,resulting in an especially low detection limit of 80 copies mL^(−1) for the simulated contaminated water by SARS-CoV-2 virus with complex circumstance as short as 5 min,which is of great significance for achieving real-time monitoring and early warning of coronavirus.Moreover,here-developed method can be used to establish the identification standard for future unknown coronavirus,and immediately enable extremely sensitive and rapid detection of novel virus.Yong Yang Yusi Peng Chenglong Lin Li Long Jingying Hu Jun He Hui Zeng Zhengren Huang Zhi-Yuan Li Masaki Tanemura Jianlin Shi John R.Lombardi Xiaoying Luo 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,7:6
3Orbital-scale Asian summer monsoon variations:Paradox and exploration显示文摘The Asian summer monsoon(ASM) is a vast climate system, whose variability is critical to the livelihoods of billions of people across the Asian continent. During the past half-century, much progress has been made in understanding variations on a wide range of timescales, yet several significant issues remain unresolved. Of note are two long-standing problems concerning orbital-scale variations of the ASM.(1) Chinese loess magnetic susceptibility records show a persistent glacial-interglacial dominated ~100 kyr(thousand years) periodicity, while the cave oxygen-isotope(δ18 O) records reveal periodicity in an almost pure precession band(~20 kyr periodicity)—the 'Chinese 100 kyr problem'.(2) ASM records from the Arabian Sea and other oceans surrounding the Asian continent show a significant lag of 8–10 kyr to Northern Hemisphere summer insolation(NHSI), whereas the Asian cave δ18 O records follow NHSI without a significant lag—a discrepancy termed the 'sea-land precession-phase paradox'. How can we reconcile these differences? Recent and more refined model simulations now provide spatial patterns of rainfall and wind across the precession cycle, revealing distinct regional divergences in the ASM domain, which can well explain a large portion of the disparities between the loess, marine, and cave proxy records. Overall, we also find that the loess, marine, and cave records are indeed complementary rather than incompatible, with each record preferentially describing a certain aspect of ASM dynamics. 4Coseismic response of groundwater level in the Three Gorges well network and its relationship to aquifer parameters显示文摘The 12 May 2008 Ms 8.0 Wenchuan earthquake caused notable changes in the water levels of wells in the Three Gorges area. This work examines the relationship between these coseismic changes in water level and the changes in aquifer parameters. Three wells in the area with good responses to earth tide were chosen for analysis. Water-level data from February to June 2008 were used to calculate the aquifer transmissivity, permeability and specific storage of the rocks, and analyze the relationship between the coseismic responses of the wells and their aquifer parameters. The results show that the Wenchuan earthquake changed these parameters considerably, thereby controlling co- and postseismic variations of water level. The values of these parameters prior to the earthquake are linearly related with the amplitudes of coseismic variations in water level. The larger the aquifer transmissivity, the more remarkable the coseismic change in water level. During the earthquake, changes in aquifer parameters were found to be associated with coseismic variations in water level, with the larger changes occurring when the coseismic variation in water level was larger. The tectonic setting has a certain degree of influence on the co- and postseismic changes in water level. The permeability structures of the fault zone appear to determine the manner of coseismic variation in water level. Moreover, it seems that the water level in wells where groundwater converges more easily can recover faster following an earthquake. 5Abnormal interruption of water flow from an artesian well prior to 2008 Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘Water flow from an artesian well stopped on December 17,2007 but recovered when the Wenchuan Ms 8.0 earthquake occurred on May 12,2008.This well is located 90 km south of the epicenter in an extensional tectonic setting,where similar changes of water level and resistivity were observed at two other nearby sites.Our investigation suggests that this phenomenon was not caused by environmental disturbances,such as drought or borehole-drilling activity,but might be a precursor to the earthquake.Liu Chenglong Che Yongtai Xu Yinju Shi Zheming Yang Xianhe 2011Geodesy and Geodynamics2011,2,2:5
6Zircon U–Pb Geochronology and Petrogenesis of Early–Midlle Permian Arc–Related Volcanic Rocks in Central Jilin: Implications for the Tectonic Evolution of the Eastern Segment of Central Asian Orogenic Belt显示文摘This paper presents age and geochemical data of a recently identified Late Paleozoic volcanic sequence in central Jilin Province, with aims to discuss the petrogenesis and to constrain the tectonic evolution of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt in this area. Firstly, the volcanic rocks have zircon U-Pb ages of 290–270 Ma. Secondly, they are characterized by(a) ranging in composition from the low-K tholeiite series to high-K calc-alkaline series;(b) enrichment in light rare earth elements and depletion of heavy rare earth elements, with negative Eu anomalies;and(c) negative Nb, Ta, and Ti anomalies. Finally, the volcanic rocks yield εHf(t) values of +7.1 to +17. These data suggest that the central Jilin volcanic rocks were possibly derived from predominant partial melting of a depleted lithospheric mantle that might have been modified by subducted slab–derived fluids. Combined with previous studies, the Late Paleozoic–Early Mesozoic magmatism in Central Jilin can be divided into two stages:(a) a volcanic arc stage(290–270 Ma) represented by low-K to high–K, tholeiite to calc–alkaline plutons and(b) a syn–collisional stage(260–240 Ma) represented by high-K calc–alkaline I-type granites. 8Advances in research on earthquake fluids hydrogeology in China:a review显示文摘Monitoring of subsurface fluid(underground fluid)is an important part of efforts for earthquake prediction in China.The nationwide network,which monitors groundwater level,water temperature,and radon and mercury in groundwater,has been constructed in the last decades.Large amounts of abnormal fluid changes before and after major earthquakes have been recorded,providing precious data for research in earthquake sciences.Many studies have been done in earthquake fluid hydrogeology in order to probe the nature of the earthquake.Much progress in earthquake fluid hydrogeology has been made in the last decades.The paper provides a review of the advances in research on earthquake fluid hydrogeology over the last40 years in China.It deals with the following five aspects:(1)an introduction to the development history of monitoring networks construction;(2)cases of different subsurface fluid changes recorded before some majorearthquakes which occurred in the last decades;(3)characteristics of subsurface fluid changes following major earthquakes;(4)mechanism of subsurface fluid changes before and following earthquakes;(5)application of earthquake fluids in the hydrogeology field.Zheming Shi Guangcai Wang Chenglong Liu 2013Earthquake Science2013,26,6:3
9Geochronology and Geochemistry of the 890 Ma I-Type Granites in the Southwestern Yangtze Block:Petrogenesis and Crustal Evolution显示文摘The tectonic evolution of the southwestern Yangtze Block during the Early Neoproterozoic period is still controversial because of the limited quantities of 1000–860 Ma magmatic rocks.In this study,our new LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results demonstrate that the Yanbian granodiorites in the southwest Yangtze Block were emplaced at 894.6±7.4 Ma,representing the product of an 894 Ma magmatism.The Yanbian granodiorites are metaluminous to weak peraluminous with A/CNK values of 0.8–1.1,resembling Itype granitoids.They are characterized by right-inclined REE patterns with moderate to insignificant negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.6–0.9).Their primitive mantle-normalized trace element patterns are characterized by depletion of Nb,Ta and Ti and weakly enrichment of Th.Considering the positive whole-rockεNd(t)(+5.8 to+6.8),we propose that these granodiorites originated from the partial melting of juvenile mafic lower crust.The Yanbian I-type granitoids have low Y and Nb contents similar to volcanic arc igneous rocks in the Y-Nb plot for tectonic discrimination.In conclusion,Early Neoproterozoic Yanbian granodiorites have generated in a compression setting in an active continental margin.Together with previous studies from the southwestern Yangtze Block,we suggest that the 894 Ma subduction-related Yanbian granodiorites represent the early stage of subduction at the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block.Jibiao Zhang Xiaozhong Ding Yanxue Liu Heng Zhang Chenglong Shi Yu Zou 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,6:2
10Zircon U–Pb Ages and Lu–Hf Isotope of the Dongchuan Group in Central Yunnan, China, and their Geological Significance显示文摘On the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block, the Dongchuan Group consists of slightly metamorphosed sedimentary rocks, including silty slate, argillaceous slate, clayey slate, arkose, dolomite, and minor volcanic rocks. To date, it is still a controversy over the depositional age and stratigraphic sequence of the Dongchuan Group. In this study, we analyzed five samples of meta-sedimentary rocks and one sample of meta-tuff from the Yinmin, Luoxue and Etouchang Formations of the Dongchuan Group in the Yuxi region for detrital zircon U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotope. The detrital zircon ages of the meta-sediments vary from 3073 to 1703 Ma, mainly clustered at three periods, from 1889 to 1840, 2490 to 2008 and 2878 to 2844 Ma. The youngest age peak of all the samples is ~1859 Ma, with the εHf(t) values of the zircons ranging from-20.3 to +4.3 and more than 90% being negative, indicating that the Paleoproterozoic crustal accretion on the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block was dominated by reworking of the ancient crustal materials involved in the assembly and breakup of the Columbia supercontinent. Another important age range is between 2490 Ma and 2008 Ma, with εHf(t) values from-14.7 to +8.9 and 70% of them are negative, suggesting that the magmatism in the source area was also dominated by reworking and recycling of the ancient crustal materials, with minor juvenile mantle substances added. The detritus was probably derived from the Paleoproterozoic crystalline basement in the southern Yuxi region. The oldest peak age is ~2847 Ma and the εHf(t) values are from-7.7 to +7.0 with 50% of both positive and negative values, demonstrating a possible ~2.85 Ga ancient continental nucleus on the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block and substantial growth in juvenile crust materials during this period. Besides, the weighted average age of the zircons from the meta-tuff of the Etouchang Formation is 1677 ± 14 Ma. Combining the previous research data and this study, we can constrain the depositional age of the Dongchuan Group in central Yunnan Province to the period from the late Paleoproterozoic to early Mesoproterozoic, slightly earlier than that of the Dongchuan Group in the Dongchuan area near to the southwestern Sichuan Province. 11Thermodynamics of Molten Pool Predicted by Computational Fluid Dynamics in Selective Laser Melting of Ti6Al4V:Surface Morphology Evolution and Densification Behavior显示文摘The three-dimensional physical model of the randomly packed powder material irradiated by the laser beam was established,taking into account the transformation of the material phase,the melt spreading and the interaction of the free surface of the molten pool and the recoiling pressure caused by the material evaporation during the selective laser melting.Influence of the processing parameters on the thermal behavior,the material evaporation,the surface morphology and the densification behavior in the connection region of the molten pool and the substrate was studied.It was shown that the powder material underwent the transformation from the partial melting state to the complete melting state and finally to the overheating state with the applied laser energy density increasing from 167 J/mm^(3) to 417 J/mm^(3).Therefore,the solidified track ranged from the discontinuous tracks with the rough surface to the continuous tracks with residual porosities,then to the continuous and dense tracks and terminally to the fluctuated tracks with the increase in the laser energy density.Meanwhile,the laser energy effect depth was maintained the positive relationship with the laser energy density.The vortex velocity obtained in the free surface of the molten pool towards to the rear region in the opposite laser scan direction promoted the melt convection to the edge region of the molten pool as the laser energy density was higher than 277 J/mm^(3),demonstrating the efficient energy dissipation from the center of the irradiation region to the whole part of the molten pool and the attendant production of the sufficient melt volume.Therefore,the efficient spreading of the molten pool and the metallurgical bonding ability of the melt with the substrate was obtained at the optimized laser energy density of 277 J/mm^(3).However,the severe material evaporation would take place as the melt was overheated,resulting in the formation of the residual pores and poor surface quality.Donghua Dai Dongdong Gu Qing Ge Chenglong Ma Xinyu Shi Han Zhang 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,9:1

14Integral Event-Triggered Attack-Resilient Control of Aircraft-on-Ground Synergistic Turning System With Uncertain Tire Cornering Stiffness显示文摘This article proposes an integral-based event-triggered attack-resilient control method for the aircraft-on-ground(AoG) synergistic turning system with uncertain tire cornering stiffness under stochastic deception attacks. First, a novel AoG synergistic turning model is established with synergistic reverse steering of the front and main wheels to decrease the steering angle of the AoG fuselage, thus reducing the steady-state error when it follows a path with some large curvature. Considering that the tire cornering stiffness of the front and main wheels vary during steering, a dynamical observer is designed to adaptively identify them and estimate the system state at the same time.Then, an integral-based event-triggered mechanism(I-ETM) is synthesized to reduce the transmission frequency at the observerto-controller end, where stochastic deception attacks may occur at any time with a stochastic probability. Moreover, an attackresilient controller is designed to guarantee that the closed-loop system is robust L2-stable under stochastic attacks and external disturbances. A co-design method is provided to get feasible solutions for the observer, controller, and I-ETM simultaneously. An optimization program is further presented to make a tradeoff between the robustness of the control scheme and the saving of communication resources. Finally, the low-and high-probability stochastic deception attacks are considered in the simulations. The results have illustrated that the AoG synergistic turning system with the proposed control method follows a path with some large curvature well under stochastic deception attacks. 16Turning ZrTe_5 into a semiconductor through atom intercalation显示文摘In this study we successfully intercalated potassium(K) atoms into single ZrTe_5 crystals by liquid ammonia method, and found a semimetal-to-semiconductor transition at low temperatures in K-intercalated ZrTe_5. As the K concentration increased, the resistance anomalous peak was gradually suppressed until finally disappearing. Whilst, the corresponding Hall resistance measurements consistently showed a sign reversal. 19Numerical optimization method for HJI equations derived from robust receding horizon control schemes and controller design显示文摘This paper addresses how to numerically solve the Hamilton-Jacobin-Isaac(HJI)equations derived from the robust receding horizon control schemes.The developed numerical method,the finite dierence scheme with sigmoidal transformation,is a stable and convergent algorithm for HJI equations.A boundary value iteration procedure is developed to increase the calculation accuracy with less time consumption.The obtained value function can be applied to the robust receding horizon controller design of some kind of uncertain nonlinear systems.In the controller design,the finite time horizon is extended into the infinite time horizon and the controller can be implemented in real time.It can avoid the on-line repeated optimization and the dependence on the feasibility of the initial state which are encountered in the traditional robust receding horizon control schemes.SONG ChongHui BIAN ChunYuan ZHANG Xie SHI ChengLong 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,1:0
20Binary encoding-inspired generation of vector vortex beams显示文摘Vortex and vector terahertz(THz)beams with inhomogeneous polarization states have become a considerable hot topic in the last decade due to their important roles in multiplexed wireless data transmission.However,the technical instruments to form and evaluate such beams are rather limited,as they are mainly collected in the visible range.The emergence of coded metasurfaces has reinvigorated the design of functional devices with multiple degrees of freedom.Here,we demonstrate a versatile design inspired by a binary encoding approach for generating off-axis vectorial THz beams on all-silicon metasurfaces.Experimentally,simultaneous manipulation of the encoding method within the orthogonal circularly polarized(CP)channel provides strong support for developing versatility in vector THz beams,including the generation of arbitrary polarization profiles and the directional emission of multiplexed vector vortex beams(VVBs)with specified polarization states.The introduction of the latitudinal polarization control factor guarantees that continuously rotating or independently designed vector polarization profiles can be obtained on a pre-defined focal plane.Subsequently,a universal parametric theoretical model is developed to analyze the evolutionary trend of off-axis VVB in detail.Notably,the proposed monolayer vector metasurface bypasses the requirement of multiple cascaded optical elements,further inducing the advancement of ultra-thin vector THz sources,and also facilitating the generation of vector fields with tailored polarization distributions in 3D space.Hui Li Chenglong Zheng Jingyu Liu Hang Xu Chunyu Song Fan Yang Jitao Li Zhen Yue Wei Shi Yating Zhang Yan Zhang Jianquan Yao 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,5:0
